Beautiful, but intimidating.
That's the first thing Anju thought about Erena the first time she saw her, yet there was something enchanting about her that made her want to get close to her.
Anju didn't know if it was her strong aura, her incredible intelligence or the way her cold green eyes could pierce her soul, sending shivers down her spine, but Anju wanted to get to know her more.
So when they were chosen to be part of a school idol group, she was more than happy to take advantage of it to try to get to know more about such unreachable girl.
Anju discovered how stubborn and complicated Erena could be, almost seeming like a challenge, but with the pass of time and with patience and tenacity, Anju got Erena to slowly open up to her.
She had to reach for her, to little by little, break all the walls she had been putting up over the years to protect herself, wanting to discover the lovely girl hidden behind them.
Over time, Erena's forced smiles turned less grimacing and were more genuine, sweet smiles. The cold in her eyes melted until there was nothing more than warmth and love in them. Her touch, and her hugs, also became kind and tender...
It was as if she only needed somebody that would take the time to actually get to know her, the patience to understand her, to love her…
Anju remembers those past days with a big and soft smile upon her face as she waits for her girlfriend to arrive to the amusement park.
- Hey – Erena says casually as she arrives in her always impeccable fashionable style.
Anju smiles wider and greets her with a kiss on the lips.
- Hey back – she answers against her lips, watching amused how a light blush takes over Erena's cheeks.
That's another thing she came to love from her, how she always seems so tough except when she's with her.
Anju looks into her eyes tenderly and smiles, surrounding Erena's neck with her arms while Erena, still embarrassed, wraps hers around her waist, bringing her closer.
- I love you – Anju blurts out suddenly, making Erena blush harder than before and Anju giggles at it, finding her endearing cute.
- Not funny – Erena murmurs embarrassedly.
Anju just laughs harder at it before being silenced by a pair of soft lips on hers kissing her deeply, catching her off-guard.
As soon as they break the kiss in search for air, Erena can be seen with a satisfied smirk on her face while it's Anju's turn to be the one blushing furiously.
- Erena! We're in public! – Anju says with feigned indignation while Erena just rolls her eyes at her girlfriend's antics and chuckles.
- Revenge is a dish best served cold, my love – Erena says smugly and Anju pokes her chest while pouting – So, where do you want to go?
Anju shakes her head amused and starts to point out and list all the places she wants to go as they enter the amusement park holding hands.
