Chika chases a radiance she wishes she had but she can't see in herself. You chases her, blinded by her radiance, following her lead wherever she takes her to.
She extends her hand out to Chika, to touch her. So close yet so far... She watches Chika slipping through her fingers no matter how hard she tries to take a hold of her.
You sighs heavily, her feet stopping running after Chika, stopping chasing her. She watches her getting away more and more with each step she takes, she watches her become one with the sun.
Breathtaking.
You thinks, a bitter smile present on her face. Then she sees it as Chika turns around to lock eyes with her even in the distance, a bright and welcoming happy smile playing on her beaming face, spreading a pleasant warmth across her chest.
Chika waves at her, having the sun against the backlight, obliging You to squint her eyes in order to see her. Chika laughs, filling the air with her carefree sound and You's heart beats strongly, almost leaping out of her chest with the sound of her laugh.
- You-chan! – she calls out her name, making her feel as if the ground under her was shaking like on an earthquake.
She loves the sound of her laugh, of her voice. She loves the sight of her happy smile, the thump of her heart pounding rapidly because of it.
- Yousoro! – she answers playfully, bringing her hand up to her temple as a way of salute.
She hears the orange haired girl laughing once again, her heart bursting out of happiness at being the one making her laugh before she stars to run after her, chasing her radiance again.
She'll never stop doing it, eager to see her shine, eager to stand by her side as she shines, because... because she loves her.
