Summary: After Sumire explains to her what "Kiss day" is, Ren can't stop thinking about it and about certain auburn haired maid.

It's Kiss day

- Do you know that today is Kiss day!?

Ren hears a girl exclaiming excitedly to another as she enters the building, heading to the shoes' lockers to change her casual shoes for her school shoes.

She furrows her brow but shrugs before she begins to walk towards the student council room, making a quick stop there to leave the paperwork she took home with her the previous evening, and then head to her classroom.

As she's walking towards her classroom, she can't help but keep hearing conversations mentioning the kiss day at every hallway she passes by, making a mental note to search what the infamous day is about once she has the opportunity.

And said opportunity comes once is lunchtime. It's then when Ren witnesses what the infamous "Kiss day" is about.

The whole Liella group is eating calmly their respective meals at the rooftop of the school, when out of nowhere, Keke kisses one of Kanon's cheeks.

- K-Keke-chan!

Ren hears the orange haired girl squealing, touching her cheek embarrassed while Keke smiles smugly upon her feat and at have caught the other girl off-guard.

Then, she hears Sumire sighing next to her, before she notices Chisato puffing out her cheeks and sees her quickly making her way to kiss Kanon's other cheek.

- C-Chi-chan! – Kanon squeals even more embarrassed than before, looking completely red.

Ren can only look at the sudden affective display tilting her head confusedly.

- What is going on? – she whispers quietly to Sumire, seeing her looking at her perplexed and with an arched eyebrow.

- You don't know it? – Sumire asks her, seeing Ren shaking her head clueless – It's Kiss day.

Sumire sees Ren looking at her still confused and clueless, making her sigh. Of course she should have expected the other girl to not know about it.

- In 1946, a film was released and it was the first time in which a kiss scene was seen in Japan, so since that time on, 23rd May is "Kiss day" – she explains to her shortly, seeing how realization dawns upon Ren and she quickly starts to blush, making her chuckle amused.

- I-I see. Thank you, Sumire-san.

Sumire can only shake her head amused at the innocence of the other girl and go back to finish their meals in silence before the last classes of the day begin.

Once classes end, and they can finally go back home, Ren can't help but think about the explanation Sumire gave her on her way, blushing from time to time.

Who would have thought days like this one existed…

She thinks to herself, finally arriving home and opening the door to be greeted by Saya and her kind smile, aside of Chibi and his energetic licks, making her giggle.

- Welcome home, Ren-sama. Would you like some tea? – Saya asks her kindly.

- N-no, thank you Saya-san. I'll be at my bedroom – Ren quickly answers, avoiding any type of eye contact with her as she directly heads to her bedroom.

Once she's inside, she flops onto her bed to stare at the ceiling conflicted, thinking about the kiss day and what she'd like to do.

Soon, she feels Chibi climbing her bed to lay beside her, letting her caress his soft fur to help her de-stress.

- What should I do, Chibi? – she exhales, asking the dog doubtfully about the whole kiss day deal.

She watches him tilting his head, looking at her confusedly before she giggles, kissing his nose playfully.

- Never mind.

She says, leaving a pat on his head to then get off the bed and go downstairs, finding Saya at the living room folding some clothes.

- S-Saya-san – Ren calls the older girl by her name nervously, seeing her stopping in her chores to look up at her.

- Is everything okay, Ren-sama? – Saya asks her concernedly with evident worry on her face and Ren can't help but smile at her reassuringly.

- No, don't worry Saya-san, but, can you… um, can you please close your eyes for a second?

Saya looks at her confused by her request but gladly complies, closing her eyes as Ren approaches her slowly and a bit hesitantly. Then, she places her hands on the older girl's shoulders and stands on her tiptoes.

Ren takes a shaky breath before she leans in and leaves a chaste kiss on Saya's lips. Saya then can't help but gasp and open her eyes surprised to see Ren blushing hard.

- I-it's kiss day! s-so I've thought…

The young girl trails off completely embarrassed, eliciting a smile and a giggle from Saya, before the maid leans in to kiss her softly.

- Happy Kiss Day then – Saya says with a charming smile and Ren can only fume, hiding her red face in Saya's chest while the maid just laughs amusedly and hugs her tightly.

Chibi meanwhile, is at the living room's doorstep watching everything confused yet happy for them.
