Phantom Rebellion
Chapter 135 Final Challenge

Danny and Wraith stood up and looked at the long hallway before them and then they glanced at each other. The silently stood there staring at one another and then Danny broke the silence.
"I say we call a truce. I don't know what kind of final challenge is left before we reach the box, but I like our chances better if we work together."
"I agree. Neither of us has any clue what's up ahead and I think we have a better chance of getting through and surviving if we work together." Said Wraith.
The two of them nodded their heads before they made their way down the hallway using the Force to search for any traps as they held their lightsabers up ready to go on the defensive.
On the other side of the closed door Maddie and Vlad were facing off against each other. Maddie could sense that Vlad was a bit weaker then he normally was, most likely due to continuously using the Force to navigate the labyrinth and get by the traps. This gave Maddie a bit of an advantage and she had Vlad on the defensive.
"It's over Vlad! Phantom will reach Pandora's Box and retrieve the crown and ring. You're far away from from your main forces and I sense the stain and toll on your body. Soon you will be defeated and the Rebels will defeat the rest of your forces and push them out of the Amitrax System." Said Maddie blocking a blow from Vlad and pushed him back.
"Don't be too sure of yourself. You forgot my apprentice is with Phantom and she will do everything in her power to complete the mission. Phantom will either be defeated and captured by Wraith or Phantom will die by her hands." Said Vlad as he blocked Maddie's blows.
"I know Phantom more then you do and since Wraith is a clone of Phantom the more likely outcome is Phantom getting Wraith to side with the Jedi and turn against you and the Empire. That light that resides in Phantom also resides in Wraith and no matter what you do or try you won't be able to fully corrupt or snuff it out." Said Maddie before using a Force push to shove Vlad back and then she charged at him.
"Don't underestimate me!" Snarled Vlad as he blocked Maddie's attack and pushed her back.
Around them Clockwork and Dark Laser exchanged blows and Freakshow and the Stormtroopers exchanged fire with Dark Laser's forces. As they all fought a couple of Dark Laser's troops who happened to be demolition experts were creeping their way to the door to set up explosives and blast the door to bits.
On the other side of the door Danny and Wraith were making their way down the hallway, when some strange pillars with monstrous grotesque faces rose out of the ground in front of them and began to fire darts from their mouths at the two. Danny and Wraith sliced through the darts before they raced to the pillars and sliced them to bits with their lightsabers.
"That was easy." Said Wraith.
"Don't let your guard down. I don't think that was the final challenge." Said Danny.
The two of them continued on.
"So I've been thinking Phantom. I think you should join me and the Empire." Said Wraith.
"Well I think you should join me and the Rebels." Said Phantom.
"Come Phantom, the Empire is about law and order. We're trying to maintain peace and make the Amitrax System a better place. With the two of us working together we could accomplish so much." Said Wraith.
"That's what the Empire says they're about, but I've been around the Amitrax System and I've seen what the Empire has done. The Empire is full of corruption and cruel people who don't care about anyone, but power and themselves. I've seen how the people under the Empire's rule are and it's not good. I can sense their fear." Said Danny.
"I'll admit I've come across a few corrupt individuals in the Empire, but not everyone is like them. I met this one worker who really wants to help people and weed out corruption. We worked together not too long ago and helped removed some corrupt officers." Said Wraith.
Danny had to resist the urge to smile at that bit. Jazz told him and Maddie about that little adventure and it gave him hope that Wraith could change.
"I'm well aware that not everyone in the Empire is corrupt, but there are plenty of people who are. The Rebels are aware of this also and they want to work with those people and create a new government that is fair and kind to the people of the Amitrax System." Said Danny.
"So you say." Said Wraith.
They continued on for a bit, until they reached a large chamber. As soon as they stepped inside a strange mist began to be pumped into the room.
"What is all this?" Asked Wraith.
"I think this might be the final challenge. Be on your guard." Said Danny.
More mists was pumped into the room and Danny and Wraith lost sight of each other. The final challenge was about to begin.
