Chapter 137 Box Scramble

Phantom and Wraith stood side by side as they activated their lightsabers and stood in front of Pandora's Box ready to fight Dark Laser's troops. Wraith glanced back at the box and considered grabbing it and making a run back to her master and her allies. It was her mission to retrieve the box and it's contents for Vlad and the Empire, but Wraith felt conflicted about stealing since Phantom had both saved her and passed the final test. Wraith figured that even if she had killed Phantom during the final test the mist wouldn't simply create another illusion of Dark Wraith to attack her and kill her through exhaustion. Phantom had figured out the illusion and had defeated it passing the test.
Wraith owed Phantom and both her honor and her pride believe it would be wrong to just steal the box after Phantom had saved her and passed the final challenge. There was still Vlad and Empire to consider, but right now Wraith and Phantom had to deal with these enemy troops.
The troopers opened fire on Phantom and Wraith and the two of them deflected the shots into the walls and back at the enemy forces. A couple of troopers detached themselves from the main group and tried to sneak around to get at Pandora's box. The troopers reached the box and one of them picked it up. Wraith glanced back and saw this and quickly struck out with a Force push knocking the trooper with the box to the ground. The other trooper quickly grabbed the box from the ground and began running towards his comrades.
"I have the box!" Yelled the trooper.
The troopers ceased firing to avoid hitting their comrade and quickly ran to him to secure the box. Many of the troopers got between the trooper with the box and Phantom and Wraith and began to fire at the two to keep them away.
"We can't go after the box with all these goons in the way!" Yelled Wraith.
"We got to use the move we used against those pirates to get through." Said Danny.
Danny and Wraith leaped away from each other and launched a Force blast at each other. The air in the area seemed to ripple and explode outwards slamming into the troopers and knocking them to the ground. The attack slammed into the back of the trooper with the box knocking him to the ground near the exit. The trooper tried to get up, but some Stormtroopers arrived on the scene and blasted the trooper killing him, before they took the box. Wraith saw this and decided the truce with Phantom was off.
"The truce is over!" Yelled Wraith as she fired a Force blast that knocked Danny into a wall.
Wraith took off running to catch up with the Stormtroopers with the box. Danny quickly recovered and chased after Wraith.
In the larger chamber Stormtroopers and Dark Laser's troopers were still blasting away at each other as Clockwork fought Dark Laser and Maddie fought Vlad. The Stormtrooper that had the box ran to a group of Stormtroopers and Freakshow.
"I have the package." Said the Stormtrooper as he reached Freakshow and his guards.
"Wonderful. We must focus on escaping and getting the box to a secure location." Said Freakshow as he took the box.
"What about General Vlad?" Asked one Stormtrooper.
"The general has his hands full. He'll catch up with us later." Said Freakshow.
It was then that Wraith reached the group.
"I'll help secure the box and escort us out of here." Said Wraith.
"I feel safer already." Said Freakshow.
They began to make their way towards the exit, but Dark Laser took notice of them. Dark Laser used the Force to yank some rocks down from the celling above forcing Clockwork to jump back to avoid getting hit.
"Hold him off!" Ordered Dark Laser to some of his troops a few yards away.
The troopers turned their attention to Clockwork and began to attack him as Dark Laser turned his attention to Freakshow and the fleeing Imperials. Dark Laser grabbed a couple of the Stormtroopers with the Force and flung them to the side getting Freakshow, Wraith, and the other Stormtroopers' attention. Wraith gripped her lightsaber and faced Dark Laser.
"Go! I'll hold him off!" Yelled Wraith to her allies.
Freakshow and the Stormtroopers took off running as Wraith charged at Dark Laser swinging her lightsaber. Dark Laser blocked Wraith's attack and Wraith struck again and again only to have Dark Laser block those attacks as well.
"You have spirit child and your commitment to protect your allies and secure the box is admirable, but it will not help you in beating me." Said Dark Laser before he deflected another one of Wraith's attacks and sent her skidding back.
Wraith was breathing hard as Dark Laser advanced towards her. Dark Laser stuck at Wraith blocked it, but the force of the blow sent her skidding back. The villain dashed forward and was about to strike again, but Danny got between him and Wraith and blocked the attack.
"Another brave youth." Said Dark Laser.
Danny pushed Dark Laser back and both him and Wraith stuck out with a Force blast that hit Dark Laser and sent him skidding back a few yards before he stopped himself.
"Most impressive. The two of you have a great deal of potential. If you swear your allegiance to me I can help you reach it and together we can rule the galaxy." Said Dark Laser.
"No dice. I'm not interested in joining a Darth Vader wannabe." Said Danny.
"I already have a master." Said Wraith.
"Fools. I will surpass Vader and the masters you serve. Now allow me to show you my power." Said Dark Laser as he stuck his hand out and struck out with the Force.
Both Danny and Wraith felt a tight pressure grip their bodies as they were both yanked into the air and hovered there. The pressure squeezed on them making them cry out in pain.
"Master!" Danny and Wraith cried out to their respected master.
Maddie who was fighting Vlad, saw what was happening and rushed to Danny's aid. Vlad on the other hand turned his attention to something else. Clockwork had defeated the troopers he had been battling earlier and had gone after Freakshow and his guards. The Stormtroopers had just been defeated and Clockwork used the Force to yank the box from Freakshow's hands and knock him to the ground. The box was in midair, when Vlad used the Force to grab ahold of it and stopped it. Clockwork and Vlad looked at each and they began to have a tug of war with the box.
Maddie struck at Dark Laser with her lightsaber making Dark Laser stop his Force attack on Danny and wraith to defend himself with his lightsaber and block Maddie's attack. Danny and Wraith dropped to the ground groaning. The two of them staggered to their feet as there was a loud exploding sound.
Pandora's Box had exploded from the tug of war and the Crown of Fire and the Ring of Rage dropped to the ground. The Crown of Fire was a green crown with a fire-like design and the Ring of Rage was a large green ring with a skull with red eyes. Dark Laser knocked Maddie back with a Force push and used the Force to call the Crown of Fire to his hand. Danny quickly used the Force to call the Ring of Rage to his hand.
There was a tense silence as all the Force users looked at one another. Then Clockwork shouted.
"We must flee at once!"
Clockwork, Maddie, and Danny took off running. Wraith tried to attack Danny, but she was still recovering from Dark Laser's Force attack and tripped and fell to the ground.
"Stop all of them!" Yelled Vlad to his forces.
The three Jedi went through a passageway and Clockwork hit a brick with a strange symbol on it causing a stone to come down and stop anyone from chasing after them.
"Time to fallback men." Said Dark Laser to his forces.
"What about the ring?" Asked one trooper.
"We will get it at another date. We will cross paths with those Jedi again." Said Dark Laser.
They fought off Vlad's forces and made their way to another passageway, where they used explosives to cause a cave in and block it.
"Curses!" Roared Vlad in anger at losing both the crown and the ring.
Danny, Maddie, and Clockwork made their way through the tunnel and eventually exited out of some ruins outside the city. Danny glanced down at the Ring of Rage in his hand. It was a partial victory, but at least Vlad and the Empire didn't get the ring or the crown. The three of them went back to the ship and headed back to Casper.
