Summary: Sumire has agreed to meet Keke at the later's house, but to her surprise, instead of finding the Chinese girl, she finds a cat that curiously resemblances to her, thinking Keke turned into a cat until said girl comes back not very amused at her assumption.
Sumire/Keke
Why would I turn into a cat!?
One ring. Two rings. Three rings…
Sumire keeps ringing Keke's doorbell impatiently as she waits at the grey haired girl's front door for the other girl to open it.
- Why did you tell me to come if you aren't going to open the door?
Sumire mutters to herself as she presses the doorbell a fourth time, this time with more strength and for longer upon starting to lose her patience.
- Hey! It's me, open the door.
She then yells irritated while she bangs the door lightly.
Tired of not getting an answer whatsoever, Sumire decides to fish her phone out of her trouser's pocket to call Keke, hearing the Chinese girl's phone going on at the other side of the door.
- Oh, so you are at home – she huffs, hanging up before she searches for the spared key hidden behind Keke's mailbox – Keke, I'm going to enter whether you like it or not.
Sumire announces as she begins to turn the key in the lock and opens the door. As soon as she enters and closes the door behind her, the only thing she can hear is the silence reigning in the small apartment.
- Keke? – she asks aloud as she takes her shoes off and gets inside the apartment only to find it empty – How strange, we agreed to meet to talk about the next performance's costumes.
She says to herself as she begins to inspect every room of the small apartment in search of Keke.
Sumire furrows her brow confused upon not finding the Chinese girl anywhere around, ready to call Keke again, when she notices a fast movement out of the corner of her eye.
- Oh, so here you... are...
She trails off, turning around to find herself face to face with a light grey cat with a purple lock in its forehead and blue crystal eyes staring right at her.
Sumire squeals and blinks stunned at the resemblance of the cat with Keke, before she decides to take a step towards it to get a hiss in return.
She grimaces before she takes another step forward, reaching her hand out to touch the cat, only to get a claw in exchange.
- Hey, that hurts! – she exclaims, retracting her hand to hold it close to her chest as the cat bristles its fur and hisses at her once again – Keke? Is this really you?
She asks the cat, trying to approach it once again, only to get another hiss and attempt to claw at her.
- Looks like it's you – she says chuckling to herself, staring at the cat in front of her before she sighs and sits on the floor, bringing a hand to her face – this can't be real…
She whispers, taking a glance at the cat in front of her now licking its paws before it glares at her.
She lets out a heavy sigh as she draws her head back to rest it against the wall behind her, thinking about the absurdity of the situation in which she is.
Suddenly, she feels something soft grazing her hand, making her jump slightly startled before she looks down just in time to see the cat climbing to her lap to then curl up in a ball on there, yawning as it waits to be petted.
Sumire can't help but click her tongue before she happily begins to stroke the cat's soft fur, hearing it purring contentedly.
- You're so spoiled – she whispers quietly, enjoying the fluffy sensation of its fur against her hand – but you know Keke? You're cuter like this.
She ends up saying with a soft smile on her face, looking down at the sleepy cat on her lap.
- What do you mean with that!? And why are you calling Miau Miau like me!?
Another voice yells high-pitched, letting the bags she was carrying fall to the floor with a loud thud, awakening the cat with the sound while its owner looks completely outraged to a stunned blonde.
- I…
Sumire can't even think about anything coherent to say while Keke just looks at her waiting for an answer with her hands on her hips and a scowl on her face, Miau Miau quickly coming to greet her.
- You two looked so alike that I thought you turned into a cat? – Sumire says more like a question than anything else, still stunned at their resemblance as she watches Keke crouching to take Miau Miau in her arms.
- Why would I turn into a cat, idiot!? – Keke asks aloud outraged, before she huffs and takes the bags from the floor to turn around and walk to the kitchen, and Sumire can't help but watch her walking away with the cat in her arms, locking eyes with Miau Miau to see as if the cat was laughing at her.
She grunts and follows the Chinese girl to the kitchen, biting her lip to hold her laugh upon the resemblance of both of the cat and the owner.
