Chapter 139 Tales of the Past 3

A few days after the quest, Danny and Maddie had been summoned to Clockwork's apartment for some Jedi training. After some training in lightsabers and the Force, Clockwork decided it was time for a break and to tell Danny the story about him and Dark Laser's past.
"This took place many years ago during the Clone Wars." Began Clockwork.
Past.
General Clockwork stood at the head of his troop transport alongside the young Jedi Knights Madeline and Vlad and Captain Crash. The Jedi Master looked at his troops and their transport headed to their destination along with a few dozen other ships. A few days ago a respected Jedi Knight named Laser had gathered a large number of mercenaries and had taken control of a major weapons factory on planet Aries and were threatening to cause a gigantic power shift in the war with the Trade Federation. Clockwork suspected that Laser's betrayal and radical change in personality had to do with a Sith holocron the Jedi Knight had found on another world and had been lured and swayed to the Dark Side. The mission was to either take the factory back or destroy it and to deal with Laser and his forces.
The ship began to rock a little as the sound of weapons went off. A few minutes later the ship landed and Clockwork lead his forces out igniting his lightsaber. The factory was a few hundred yards away with both mercenaries and Trade Federation battle droids defending it. The other ships that had accompanied Clockwork landed and their troops poured out and began to do battle with the forces defending the factory. Clockwork lead his unit towards the factory slicing down enemies, deflecting laser blasts back at the enemy, and using the Force to fling them out of the way and clear a path for his unit. Eventually they made their way into the factory, where Clockwork came up with what they must do.
"Madeline. Vlad. Take Crash and the others and start planting the explosives."
"What about you, master?" Asked Madeline.
"I will track down Laser and deal with him." Said Clockwork.
The team split up and headed their separate ways. Clockwork headed to the upper floors of the factory taking out a few enemies along the way. He used the Force to help him track Laser down and soon located the Keshiri Jedi Knight. Laser stood before Clockwork dressed in purple armor and a black cape and armed with a blue lightsaber. He smirked at Clockwork and spoke.
"Master Clockwork. I figured that the Jedi Council would someone like you to try and stop me. You will not succeed in beating me and stopping my little revelation."
"This is madness Laser. Stop what you are doing and surrender. I promise you'll get a fair trial. Please surrender, it's not too late to step away from this path." Said Clockwork.
"You would like that, wouldn't you? I refuse to continue to being a slave to the Jedi and the Republic! A new age is coming and you can't stop it! You will all fall before me and my power!" Declared Laser before he leaped forward and swung his lightsaber at Clockwork.
Clockwork blocked the attack and scowled at Laser.
"If that's how you are, then so be it! I will put a stop to you here and now!" Said Clockwork as he shoved Laser back.
The two began to fight, their lightsabers clashed again and again as sparks flew. Clockwork and Laser circled each other before they rushed at each other swinging with deadly force. Laser was madly slicing at Clockwork who remained calm and blocked the attacks. The Keshiri leaped away at Clockwork and used the Force to hurl some machinery at the Jedi Master. Clockwork neatly cut through the thrown objects and advanced towards Laser. Laser jumped onto a nearby lift and activated it. Clockwork used a Force jump to leap onto the lift and he and Laser continued to fight. The lift went higher and higher in the factory and as they went up Clockwork briefly took notice of all the fighting going on around the factory. Clockwork had faith in his team and their abilities and focused on his battle with Laser.
The lift stopped on some catwalks and Clockwork and Laser got off as they continued fighting. Clockwork went on the offensive and he began to make little jabs through Laser's defenses and inflict some scars and scratches on Laser, which only enraged him. Laser became more violent towards Clockwork, but in doing so his moves became sloppy and easier for Clockwork to predict. It was then that some explosives began to go off around the factory and flood the place with black smoke.
"My factory!" Yelled Laser in both anger and dismay losing his focus on Clockwork.
Clockwork took this opportunity to swing forward and slice Laser's lightsaber hand off! The hand and lightsaber fell to the catwalk as Laser reeled back screaming in pain and clutching his stump. After a few seconds Laser came back to some of his senses and give Clockwork a murderous glare.
"You will suffer for that!" Roared Laser as he tried to attack with a Force attack.
Clockwork was a few seconds faster and hit Laser with a Force push that slammed into him and sent Laser tumbling over the guardrail! Laser screamed as his fell and vanished into the clouds of smoke. Clockwork let out a sad sigh as he turned and headed back to the lift. The factory continued to rock and explode around him.
Present.
"So that's what happened between you and Laser." Said Danny.
"Yes. I originally thought that was the last of him, but after the Clone Wars, I began to hear rumors of a rogue Force user and feel disturbances in the Force. I knew it was Laser and he was up to no good. We are destined to face each other and I must put an end to Laser before he causes any more harm." Said Clockwork.
"We will help you master." Said Maddie.
Danny nodded his head in agreement.
"Thank you both." Said Clockwork with a smile.
The lessons ended and Danny and Maddie returned to FentonWorks.
