How's it hanging, my dudes? 3rd dragneel, returning with the third chapter of Fairy Tail: War Beyond Worlds. To say I have a ton of ideas thanks to my Beta Reader Earth Dragon Arnighte would be an understatement. We've both discussed who should appear, how they would contribute to the story and what kind of pairings would work. But that doesn't mean I will stop taking requests since I like hearing your opinions.

So I started my second semester of University and so far, I'm liking it. Hopefully next year, I'll be able to graduate and start looking for a job. Cross your fingers for me.

But enough about that, let's answer some reviews!

DB-20: It only seems right that a new character would appear each arc. Otherwise, they'd just come in at random and that might cause some confusion.

Batthan the Dark Knight: Oh, they will be shocked that Yusei has an all powerful dragon.

Kamen Rider W: I know some OP characters might make the story feel boring, but I have counters to those characters, so the fights would stay consistent. Just put some faith in me, okay buddy?(not trying to sound rude, just asking for some faith)

FanFictionHunter: I haven't seen Kamen Riders unfortunately. An unlucky character would be a horrible idea, given how serious the threat of Ankhseram. Anti Heroes might be a good or bad idea, depending on the character. Some side characters can be considered.

Ethan: Don't watch JoJo, unfortunately.

Fpinheiro96: Hope you like this chapter.

Ushindeshi: Trust me, the story will get better as it goes on.

To recap: After escaping the Rune Knights, Yusei and the others regathered in order to discuss their next plan, to which the Signer was forced to reveal who he was to his new friends. Though they were skeptical, Natsu, Lucy and Happy accepted Yusei's word and the former suggested that they should see Makarov Dreyar of Fairy Tail for help. The next day, the group arrived at the Fairy Tail Guildhall, where the two newcomers were quickly overwhelmed with the Guild's 'odd' behavior. However, a young boy by the name of Romeo, son of the wizard Macao, begged Makarov to find his father, only to be turned down. Feeling sympathy for the child, Yusei volunteered to go find Macao at MT Hakobe, with Natsu, Happy and Lucy coming for support. In the end, the group was able to find Macao and reunite him with Romeo, motivating Yusei to join Fairy Tail.

How will the leader of Team 5ds feel about being a wizard? Will he give Natsu a fight, or will he continue to decline? And what things do Siegrain and his allies plan to do?

Let's find out…

'Fairy Tail Guildhall

"So, how do you Natsu and the newbies are doing?" Gray said, leaning against the bar top while resting his hand on his chin. For the past few hours, he was thinking of different ways his rival would screw up and get himself captured. If that ever happened, he would never forgive the Dragon Slayer. He was supposed to be the one to take him down, not some Vulcan!

"Probably frozen solid while trying to find Macao under a rock." Cana added, drinking her umptenth mug while tapping her fingers lazily on the table. She knew Natsu was strong, but she, nor the others, knew what those other two had for magic. The girl had some potential, but the guy was… different.

"Master, should we send someone to help them?" Mirajane asked the short Master, a hint of concern laced in her voice. Like Cana, she knew how strong Natsu was, even if he didn't know it yet, but it still didn't mean he was invincible. However, Makarov simply drank from his mug, letting out a content sigh as the alcohol tickled his taste buds.

"I wouldn't worry about them so soon, Mira. Natsu and Happy are more than capable to find Macao and bring him home. And besides, they have help." Makarov said with a mild shrug of his shoulders. 'Besides, I have a feeling Yusei is more than he appears.' Makarov didn't know why, but Yusei Fudo intrigued him greatly. It wasn't his magic power(which was different from what he usually felt)not was it his bizarre attire.

No, it was his eyes.

Those deep blue eyes held pain, suffering and sadness only few have shown. Even if he was good at hiding it, Makarov could clearly see that Yusei had suffered much in his life, just like Erza and Gray. He wasn't going to force Yusei to reveal everything about him, but Makarov wouldn't mind having a nice chat with the lad.

*BANG*

"We're back!" Natsu shouted, kicking the doors once again while announcing his presence to everyone. Many of the members looked at the entrance of the Guild to see the Dragon Slayer and his friends returning in one piece. The group began to walk towards the main bar, all eyes were still on them, mostly on Yusei, who ignored them with a stoic expression.

"So, I can assume you found Macao?" Mira asked with a smile.

"Hell yeah we did! Romeo's outside, taking him home. The poor guy had his ass kicked, so he needs to go stitched up." Natsu said with a proud grin.

"Alright Natsu!" The guild cheered, several raising their glasses. Hell, even Cana smirked as she raised her mug.

"That was very sweet of you all." Mira's smile grew before she looked at Yusei. "Especially you Yusei. To volunteer to find a Romeo's father is something not many people would do."

"I wasn't going to stand by and let Romeo worry about his father. Family should stay together, no matter what." Yusei said, unaware of the effect his words had brought. The members of the guild looked at him in shock while Natsu, Lucy, Happy and Mira gave him a warm smile, with a hint of respect. Natsu walked up and wrapped an arm around the Signer's neck, making him wobble a bit.

"This coming from the guy who helped take down a Vulcan." Natsu said while poking the Signer on the rib.

"I think you did most of the work." Yusei admitted, not wanting to take the credit.

"Yeah right, then the whole mountain would be up in smoke." Gray called out, making Natsu glare at him.

"At least I can keep my clothes together ice prick!" Natsu retorted. Gray looked down and gasped as he was in his boxers once again.

"In that case, well done my boy." Makarov said, raising his mug.

"By the way Yusei, don't you have something to tell them?" Lucy said with a suggestive smile, catching everyone's attention.

"Thanks for reminding me Lucy." Yusei said with a nod as he gently removed Natsu's arm from his body. "The reason I came back... is because I'd like to join Fairy Tail." Many in the guild were pretty surprised by this while some like Cana almost coughed out their drinks. Makarov himself let out a small chuckle, not surprised by the boy's request.

"Might I ask why the sudden change of heart?" Mirajane asked with a small tilt of her head. It wasn't that she was against him joining the guild, but rather, her curiosity was peaked.

"I've heard a few times that Fairy Tail treats each other like family, but I hadn't really seen it with my own eyes. When I went to Mount Hakobe to rescue Macao, I saw firsthand the aspect of family and togetherness. It reminded me of the bonds I have with my friends back home, always helping one another, no matter what. I'd honestly like to be of a group that would treat each member like family, because I want to do whatever I can to help others in need. That is if you'll have me. " To say everyone was shocked by his words would be an understatement. His reason for joining is something everyone could understand and respect. They could now see why the master was so interested in Yusei: he was an honest and good hearted person.

"Well said my boy, I like your answer." Makarov said, a smile appearing on his face. "Very well, welcome to Fairy Tail." Mira smiled warmly at the Signer before reaching inside the counter behind the bar and took out a stamp with the official Fairy Tail seal on the bottom.

"So Yusei, where would you like your guild mark and what color?" Mira asked politely.

Yusei placed a hand under his chin in thought. It was kinda hard to think of where he'd like the mark that would signify his position in the Fairy Tail guild. So far, he saw Natsu had one on his shoulder Lucy had her on her right hand, Gray over his heart, Cana on her stomach and Elfman on his neck. But where would he place his? After a minute of thinking, he removed the right side of his jacket, showing his muscular right shoulder.

"Red on my right shoulder, please." Yusei said while gesturing to his shoulder. Mira nodded before placing the stamp on his shoulder before pulling away, revealing his new red Fairy Tail guild mark. "That does it. You're now an official member of Fairy Tail." Everyone began to cheer out of joy for their newest recruit.

"Glad to have you part of the guild, Yusei." Natsu said with a toothy grin.

"You probably have some questions about jobs and such, but since it's getting late, I can tell you tomorrow. Is that okay?" Mirajane asked with her ever so sweet smile.

"That would really help, thanks Mira." Yusei said with a small smile. Natsu looked at Yusei, with a hint of concern in his eyes. He knew of Yusei's 'special' situation, which meant he had no place to stay, no extra clothes to wear and no money for food. He couldn't just let his new friend sleep out on the streets, and he definitely didn't want him to stay in the Guild's infirmary(even though the beds were comfy.)

"Hey Yusei, you still don't have a place to stay." Natsu said rhetorically, getting a sigh from the Signer.

"I know, but I'll figure something out." Yusei said without a hint of concern. However, he failed to see the grin on Natsu's face.

"Well, how about you stay the night at my place for a while?" Natsu asked without hesitation. Everyone gave Natsu a questionable look. While he seemed to be on good terms with Yusei, it was still a bit weird for him to offer refuge to the newest guild member. And why didn't he ask Lucy if she wanted to stay?

"Are you sure, Natsu?" Yusei asked reluctantly. It wasn't that Yusei WASN'T against accepting the Dragon Slayer's hospitality, but he didn't really want to impose, especially since that might mean Natsu would have another mouth to feed.

"It's no problem, in fact, I'd be sad if you DIDN'T say yes." Natsu said, still grinning like an idiot.

"Aye!" Happy chirped. Yusei, seeing as there was no other option, nodded.

"Okay, but I promise I'll pay you back one day." Yusei said with a serious tone. Natsu and Happy smiled before they motioned Yusei to exit the guild.

"So, what do you guys think of the new guy?" Cana asked out loud since Yusei and Makarov were nowhere near to listen. While she was willing to give the Signer a chance, she was curious what the others thought of him.

"Well, from what he told us, I think we can trust him." Mira said, her usual smile still on her face.

"Yeah, he did save Macao with Natsu, we can't forget that." Levy McGarden, a petite girl with blue hair, commented while looking up from her book to speak.

"He might look like a thug, but at least he's honest." Loki added, still holding his two girlfriends close.

"For now, let's give our newest recruit the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure he'll surprise us soon." Makarov said with a knowing grin. All Cana did was nod before she went back to her drinking. The old Master then looked over at Lucy, who was watching her friends leave the Guild with a smile on her face. "And what about you, Lucy? Do you have somewhere to stay?"

"Actually, yes." Lucy said with a big smile, taking out a sheet of paper that showed a single bedroom apartment for rent. "It's close to the Guild and rent isn't bad."

"But Lucy, we do have a-"

"Not to mention, they have a really nice bathroom. Just thinking about it makes me happy." Lucy said with a dreamy sigh, unintentionally cutting Mirajane off. "Well, I should go before someone takes it." With that, Lucy turned her heel and practically skipped out of the Guild. Mirajane looked at the Master, who simply gave her a 'tell her later' look before he resumed his drinking.

Things might start to get interesting around here.

'Outside of Natsu's home, sometime later'

"Thanks for letting me stay with home Natsu." Yusei thanked as the three had finally made it to the Dragon Slayer's humble abode, which was a simple two story yellow colored house with a red tiled roof, a stone chimney on the left side, a tree branch coming out of the right side and a small cat-head shaped sign that said 'Natsu & Happy.' Overall, it didn't look bad in Yusei's eyes, apart from the tree branch.

"No problem, man. Actually, you can stay as long as you want. We got plenty of room anyway." Natsu said as he grabbed the door handle.

"Thanks, but I-" Yusei was cut off when he saw the condition of the house inside. It was…..a mess, to say the least. Dirty pots were scattered everywhere, along with a pile of dirty laundry and books. Yusei swore he saw something move. He couldn't help but sweatdrop a bit since he's seen Crow's room, but even that was cleaner compared to this.

"Is something wrong?" Natsu asked innocently, not affected by his home's condition.

"How long has it been since you cleaned?" Yusei questioned, not taking his eyes off the mess.

"Ummmm… Happy, when did we clean last time?" Natsu asked his fur companion, who rubbed his chin before he answered.

"I don't know!" Happy said innocently while raising his paw, making Yusei sweatdrop even more. While this wasn't his home, he wasn't going to let this place stay dirty forever. Looking around, he saw a decently clean broom with an empty bucket next to it. He then walked towards it and began to sweep, much to the other two's confusion.

"Umm, Yusei? What are you doing?" Natsu asked with clear confusion.

"We can't really keep this place dirty, so I'm gonna clean it up a bit. Think of it as my way of thanking you." Yusei said, holding back a cough as he felt the dust hit his face. Natsu and Happy looked at each other, confused as to what he meant. However, since they were the hosts, they would need to clean as well, so they proceeded to help their friend out. After two whole hours of cleaning, the trio were finally done. "Well, what do you think?" While the house wouldn't be the top house of Magnolia, it still looked decent enough for someone to live in.

"Not bad, we should try to keep it like this." Natsu said before he and Happy let out a yawn, showing just how tired they were. "Well, I guess it's time for bed." Yusei nodded, feeling a bit tired himself, especially from the trip to Mount Hakobe. Natsu led him upstairs to a small little room with a simple bookcase, a chest full of random objects, a purple hammock hanging over it, with a smaller one on top(he assumed that was for Happy), and a red couch across from it. "Me and Happy sleep on the hammocks, but you can take one if you want."

"No, I'll just take the couch, if that's alright with you." Yusei said, not trying to sound rude. He was used to crashing on someone's couch, like when he and the others would hang out with Akiza. Nodding, Natsu opened the chest and pulled out a red blanket and pillow for his friend to use. "Thanks Natsu." Removing his blue jacket and brown gloves, Yusei laid down on the couch, just looking up at the ceiling, even when the lights went out. Even if they lay in bed, no one was able to sleep, having too much on their mind.

"Hey Yusei, you awake?" Natsu whispered.

"Yeah. Is something wrong?" Yusei whispered back.

"I know this might be a bit… personal…" Natsu began, though it sounded as though he was staying quiet.

"Go ahead." Yusei reassured, curious about what his friend was about to say.

"Do you miss your friends? I mean, I know you told us what happened to your parents, so I was just curious, you know." He knew it was a bit sudden to ask such a question, but ever since Yusei told him and everyone else his reason for joining, Natsu just wanted to know what his new friend felt, being away from his world. As for Yusei, he just remained silent, looking at the window in thought. It hadn't really occurred to him how Jack and the others would feel if they found out he was in another world. It pained him a bit, but he didn't want to drag those he cared for down this dark path. "Hey, sorry for asking you right now. You don't have to-"

"No, it's no problem Natsu." Yusei said, waving off his friend's concern. "To tell you the truth, I miss them. Even if I've only been here for two days, I miss everyone back in New Domino. Jack, Crow, Leo, Luna, Akiza, Martha, all of them are back home, not knowing I'm here."

"I'm sorry about your parents Yusei." Happy suddenly called out, much to his Dragon Slayer's shock.

"Happy, how long were you awake?" Natsu said, surprised that Happy was awake.

"As long as you guys were. I just wanted to talk." Happy said quietly. Natsu shook his head a bit before glancing back at Yusei, who just looked at the window, into the starry night.

"You really do fit here in Fairy Tail Yusei. A lot of people in the guild have lost their families at one point or another. I know how that feels." Yusei looked away from the window to look at Natsu, interested in what he meant. "I don't know if anyone told you, but I was raised by dragon named Igneel in the woods. He's the one who taught me how to use dragon slayer magic. I never knew who my real parents were, or why they would leave me in the forest, but Igneel was pretty much the only person, err, dragon, to take care of me." He noticed Natsu frowned as he continued. "But then, on X777, he just...disappeared. He left nothing for me other than my scarf, and I was so angry. A lot of stuff came in my head, but the one thing I wanted to ask was… why? Why did he leave, and where did he go? I looked around for a whole month, trying my best to survive and find clues to finding him, but nothing helped me. Eventually, Gramps found me and I joined Fairy Tail. That was the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"Woah, I'm sorry to hear that Natsu." Yusei said with some sympathy in his voice. He and Natsu weren't that different after all: they both lost their parents, found people who took care of them and would do anything for them.

"I can tell you and Natsu will get along just fine, Yusei."Stardust told him with a smile.

"Nah, It's fine Yusei. At least I have you guys now and that's all that matters." Natsu said with a wave of his hand. Yusei smiled a bit before looking back at the ceiling.

"Good night Natsu, Happy."

"Goodnight." With that, the duo fell asleep. Yusei's eyes felt a bit droopy and just as he is about to sleep…

*Snore*

Yusei Fudo witnessed first hand just how loud of a snorer Natsu Dragneel was. With each breath he took, the slumbering fire wizard snored like a pig. 'So he's just like Leo.' Yusei thought with a sweatdrop. He looked up and noticed that Happy was sleeping normally, as if the snoring wasn't a bother to him. 'Great, now how… am I… supposed… to get… some sleep…' Strangely, the snoring started to die out as exhaustion began to consume him. 'What's… happening?' And with that, Yusei Fudo was out cold.

'Yusei's mindscape'

"Yusei… awaken…" The sound of an all too familiar voice called out to the blue eyed male, who slowly began to open his eyes.

"Huh?" The head Singer expected to see the ceiling of Natsu and Happy's house, only to find out he was in the exact same white room Talion had teleported him to when they first met. Speaking of Talion…..

"Ah, Yusei. So nice of you to come." Talion said with a small smile as he was currently sitting on a brown oak chair with red-clothed table in front of him. Two decorated tea cups and tea pot were on top of it. "Please, sit." Yusei didn't say anything as he walked up and pulled the second chair back so he could sit. "How've you been my boy?"

"Good I guess, though you kinda left me going in blind." Yusei said, getting Talion to chuckle as he handed him a cup of tea, which he took. "By the way, thanks for sending my Runner."

"Well I wasn't going to leave you without it, though it may attract some attention." Yusei nodded before drinking some of his tea, which tasted pretty sweet. "I see you joined a guild, more importantly, Fairy Tail."

"You know about Fairy Tail?" The Overseer once again chuckled as he drank some of his tea.

"Of course, they're the most popular AND destructive guild in Fiore. Not only that, but the bonds they have is beyond any I've ever seen." His smile quickly turned serious. "Have you told them about your mission?"

"I met two wizards, Natsu and Lucy, and I told them I was from another world. But, I didn't say anything about being a Champion." Yusei answered honestly. Talion sighed a bit before rubbing his forehead. "Are you okay?"

"Being a god over gods is tiring, but still, it's a job I must do, even if I dislike it." Talion answered while trying to ease the migraine that he felt coming. He put his hand down and looked straight into Yusei's eyes. "Though I would like you to avoid telling anyone about your mission unless you trust them with your life." Yusei nodded, fully understanding what Talion was telling him. If he didn't have the Sector Security tattoo on his cheek, then he would keep his involvement with the cops to an all-time low. "Now, is there anything you'd like to ask me before you go?"

"Just one. Do my friends back home know where I am?" Yusei asked with concern. Talion just looked at him with a calm expression before placing his cup down.

"I understand your concern, but I wouldn't worry about it." Talion answered with a small smile. "In your world, time flows differently. Though two days have passed here, only a few minutes have passed in your world. Your friends will not know how long you are here, which is all for the better." Even if he wanted to tell his friends about Talion and Ankhseram, Yusei still accepted Talion's word. Talion stood up before he extended his hand and placed a finger on the Signer's forehead, much to his confusion. "I suppose it is time for you to wake up. You will know when the next Champion appears. Until then, survive." The last thing Yusei saw was a bright light, and then nothing.

'The next morning'

"Natsu." Happy yawned while stretching his tiny paws, showing he had just woken up. He looked around and saw both the dragon slayer and Signer still fully asleep, the former had his arms outstretched while drool leaked out the side of his mouth. The blue feline sprouted his wings before flying down and poking his friend's cheek. "Natsu, Natsu wake up, it's morning."

"Mhmmmm…" Natsu's eyes twitched a bit before he fully opened them, looking at Happy. "Happy, five more minutes." He turned his body to face the wall.

"Come on Natsu, if we don't get up, then we'll miss that job you talked about yesterday." Happy's words were enough to jolt Natsu up.

"Crap, you're right! We gotta get there now." Natsu quickly got out of his hammock before glancing at Yusei. "Hmmm, it wouldn't feel right leaving him on his own." Silently sneaking towards his friend, Natsu reached into tap his shoulder. "Yusei. Yusei, it's time to get up."

"I'm awake." Yusei suddenly spoke up while opening his eyes, making Natsu jump back a bit. The reason he woke up was because 1. Talion woke him up a few minutes prior to Happy and 2. Natsu isn't exactly the quietest person. Getting up from the couch, Yusei rolled his shoulder a bit while picking up his jacket. "So, what's up with you guys?"

"Us? What about your arm? I didn't know you got a tattoo." Natsu said while pointing at Yusei's Signer tattoo. He didn't know the guy was tough enough to get a tattoo, but it was pretty badass.

"It's actually… a birthmark." Yusei said with reluctance. It was obvious he didn't want to talk about his mark, at least not in the moment. "So what do you want to do today?"

"Natsu and I are gonna take a job at the guild, and we wanted to take you with us." Happy said cheerfully, ignoring Yusei's 'birthmark' for the time being. Yusei did remember Mirajane offering to teach him how jobs worked in a guild, so this might be good experience since he had a feeling he was gonna be here for a while. He quickly put on his jacket, fixing his collar.

"Alright, let's go." With that, the trio left their home, ready to tackle the challenges of today.

'Fairy Tail guildhall, some time later…'

"Hey guys!" Natsu shouted, kicking the doors open yet again. He got some 'good mornings' from some of his guildmates while others just nodded in acknowledgement. The trio made their way to the bar, where a certain white haired beauty was once again cleaning the counter. She noticed the group walking towards her and she raised her head.

"Good morning." Mira said with her usual bright smile.

"Morning Mira." Yusei replied with his own smile.

"So Yusei, are you ready to learn about job requests?" Mira asked while putting down the rag. Yusei nodded before he followed Natsu and Happy to the large billboard with multiple papers on it. The Dragon Slayer wasted no time in looking through the variety of papers, trying to find a job. "This is called the Request Board, where as the name suggests, contains multiple jobs given by different people. We always change our selection everyday so we could have more room for different jobs. Each job ranges from simple deliveries to slaying monsters, though the reward varies. Also, some jobs require certain magic to complete, such as fire magic."

"Which I can do in no time." Natsu said confidently, getting a giggle from Mira. Yusei found the information pretty simple. It was pretty much like how things were in his world… aside from the addition of magic.

"So am I allowed to take any job?" He questioned Mira, who nodded.

"Yes, all you have to do is inform me or Master Makarov so we could tell the client. Also, you'll need to get to the job as quickly as possible since some jobs have time limits." Mirajane said simply.

"I see, thanks for explaining it Mira." Yusei said with a genuine smile.

"It's no trouble Yusei, I'll be at the bar if you have any more questions." With that, she walked away to continue her work.

"Aha! There you are." Natsu quickly tore off a form that was located near the edge of the Request Board.

"That the job you were talking about earlier?" Yusei questioned curiously.

"Aye! We'll tell you later, when we get Lucy." Happy said, getting a raised brow from Yusei.

"So, you wanna come?" Natsu asked, hoping his friend would go with him just so he could see that card magic he used.

"Yeah, but let me take a job first, just to get a feel of how jobs work here." Yusei politely declined, though Natsu did deflate a bit. While he wasn't against going with the duo, Yusei wanted to see how Fiore was and what better way to do so than taking a job. Plus, he could earn some money to help pay rent while he stayed at Natsu's house.

"Alright, but you should take one with a decent reward. I can even give you some directions and some jewel if you need it." Natsu offered with a friendly grin. Yusei nodded before turning his eyes back towards the Request Board, carefully reading the description. There were so many different and odd jobs to choose from(he swore he saw one that asked for a wizard to entertain a kid's birthday.) His eyes eventually landed on a job that required delivery from Magnolia to a town named 'Mechro.' He noticed the reward was pretty big, though that was mostly because he wasn't aware how currency worked here. He took the paper before showing it to Natsu. "Huh, not a bad start, and it's not that far from here. Come on, let's go to Lucy's." With that, the trio left the guild… only for Natsu's stomach to growl. "Hehe, we should get some breakfast first."

'Lucy's apartment, later'

The blonde celestial spirit mage sat at her desk of her new apartment with a bright smile on her face. She was beyond happy that she was able to get such a nice apartment for a good price, and it being close to the guild was a plus. She had on a towel that barely covered her voluptuous body, but it didn't bother her. She looked down at the letter she was writing to her mother about things at Fairy Tail and it's members. Yeah, they're all a bit crazy, but I couldn't be any happier being a part of an awesome guild. She wrote before a tint of pink crept on her cheeks. And then there's this guy I met in Hargeon. His name is Yusei Fudo, and get this: he's from another world! It might not seem weird to you since there's the celestial spirit world, but he has this magic that lets him summon monsters from cards. He and Natsu are pretty interesting guys and I hope we get along… provided we don't destroy everything. "Aaah….I love this place!" Lucy stretched her limbs before getting up from her desk and walking towards the living room. Just as she entered the living room….

"YO!" Natsu and Happy exclaimed as they were sitting on her chair and couch, trash around them. The blonde stuttered in pure shock.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Lucy then kicked Natsu directly on the face, slamming him on the wall with Happy behind him. The duo slid down the wall with pained expressions.

"Oww, the hell was that for?" Natsu said while groaning, rubbing the side of his head. For a girl with big boobs, Lucy kicked like a damn bull.

"Because you're barging in without permission! This is a serious invasion of my privacy." Lucy shouted with a heated glare. Before she could continue, a knock was heard on the door, Lucy's anger quickly changed to curiosity.

"It's probably Yusei." Natsu said, glancing at the door. Lucy looked at Natsu for a second before walking towards the door and opening it, revealing Yusei Fudo.

"Hey Yusei, come in." Lucy said with a polite smile.

"Thanks." Yusei said with a nod before he entered the apartment.

"Why didn't he get kicked like I did?!" Natsu shouted with annoyance. Seriously, she attacked him like he destroyed something precious to her, yet when Yusei knocked, she let him in with open arms. WHAT THE HELL?!

"Because he didn't break in!" Lucy shouted back, her anger returning in full force.

"I did tell you she wouldn't be okay with this." Yusei said while looking at his friend. He then started looking at the decent looking apartment, mildly impressed at it. Hell, he could say this place was a bit better than Akiza's, if only a little. "This is a really nice place Lucy, but can I ask why you aren't wearing anything?" Though he was looking at her eyes, even Yusei couldn't help but blush a bit. Lucy's whole face slowly began to turn red, realizing she was almost naked in front of two guys.

"I'll be right back!" She quickly ran back into her bedroom, trying to cool down her blush. Yusei shook his head before noticing Natsu holding a stack of papers in his hands.

"Hmmm, she's been writing something." Natsu said while reading the papers with interest. Before he could keep writing, Yusei grabbed the papers out of his hand. "Hey! I was getting to the best part… I think."

"I don't think she'd be okay with you reading her stuff, man." Natsu grumbled a bit before sitting back on the chair while Yusei put the stack of papers on the desk. He would've been curious too, but out of respect for Lucy's privacy, he won't take a peek.

'A few minutes later'

We now see the group sitting at the main table of the common area, each with a teacup in front of them. "So you guys came because you wanted me to go on a job?" Lucy questioned as Yusei took the time to tell her the reason for their unexpected visit.

"Yup, so what do you say Lucy?" Natsu asked with some hope in his voice.

"I guess, but I want to set up a contract with another Celestial Spirit." Lucy said while looking at her teacup.

"Really?" Happy questioned in an excited tone.

"Yup, Celestial wizards have to make contracts with their spirits for the details of their service." As Lucy continued to explain about her spirits, Yusei was in deep thought, interested in this kind of magic. It reminded him of his duel monsters, though he himself was a bit confused about his own abilities. "Tell ya what, I'll show you how a Celestial wizard makes a contract."

"I hope it isn't some kind of blood pact." Happy whispered to Natsu and Yusei, the former was a bit confused.

"I hope it isn't, it'd be a pain in the ass." Natsu whispered back.

"You know I can hear you guys right?" Lucy said with a sweatdrop before she took out a silver key. "I summon thee, in the world of the Celestial spirits. I beckon you to my side at once, pass through the gate…" She held the key up before a magic circle appeared under her feet, spending magic energy through her body. "Open, gate of the Canis Minor, Nikora!" A bright light appeared in front of Lucy before it slowly died out, revealing a small, snow-like creature with bland eyes and carrot-like nose. It raised its paw, which looked similar to a dog's paw while it shook, almost as if it was cold. Yusei gave a small 'what the hell' look while Natsu and Happy looked at the new creature with blank faces.

"Meh, you gave it your best shot." Natsu said with a flat tone.

"He's supposed to look like this, you moron!" Lucy shouted in irritation before she kneeled in front of the snow creature. "Awww, come here cutie pie!" The spirit tilted his head before walking up to Lucy and hugged her, much to her delight.

"Well this is… interesting."Stardust said, a bit confused as to what Lucy brought out.

"You see, it doesn't take much energy to summon silver key spirits, so a lot of wizards just keep them as pets." Lucy said while stroking the top of the snow creature's head.

"I guess that doesn't sound that bad." Yusei muttered since he remembers Kuribon appearing in Luna's arms whenever she needed the comfort. The three then watched as Lucy made her contract with the spirit, who either nodded and shook his head sideways. After a few minutes, Lucy stood up.

"Okay, now all I need to do is come up with a name." Lucy said with a smile.

"Isn't it Nikora?" Happy questioned in confusion.

"No, that's just the species… got it!" She then opened her arms towards the Nikora with a bright smile. "Come here Plue!" The creature seemed happy with the name and hopped towards his new owner.

"Plue?" Natsu asked, clearly confused by the choice of name.

"I think it's the cutest name for him." Lucy said defensively, hugging Plue even tighter.

"Doesn't seem like a problem, but didn't you have something to tell her, Natsu?" Yusei reminded since he too wanted to get on his job as soon as possible.

"Right, thanks for reminding me man!" Natsu reached inside his pocket before pulling out the request form before showing it to Lucy, who took it.

"Hmmm, it says it's in Shirotsume… woah! We get paid 200,000 jewels just to get a book back from a mansion?!" Natsu grinned happily while Yusei just looked shocked. While he wasn't familiar with the currency, he felt the reward was more than expected. "Where do I sign up?"

"Sweet! You're definitely a part of our team!" Natsu declared with a proud grin.

"Team?" Yusei and Lucy asked in unison.

"Aye! Even though everyone in the guild are friends, some decide to become a full time team. That way, finishing a job can be faster and less stressful." Happy explained.

"That sounds amazing!" Lucy said with a big smile. Yusei had to admit, it wasn't a bad idea, making a team to make jobs easier. It reminded him of his own team, team 5ds and how they were able to work together to win the Turbo Cup. "Hey Yusei, are you gonna join us?"

"Sorry, but I wanted to do a job to get used to this world." Lucy nodded, a little saddened he wasn't going to go with them. "Natsu, you said you know where Mechro is right?"

"Yup! All you have to do is keep going North, past the mountains and you should get there in no time." Yusei nodded before excusing himself, ready to start his first job. "You can get the package you're delivering at Magnolia Mail. It's not that far away from here."

"Thanks. I'll see you guys later." Yusei said as he stood up from his chair.

"Wait, Yusei!" Natsu suddenly called out, getting the Signer's attention. "Since both jobs are close to each other, how about we meet halfway? That way, we can camp together and talk about our jobs."

"That sounds like a good idea." Lucy said with a nod. She didn't mind camping out with Natsu and Happy, but she also wanted to know how Yusei's job went.

"AYE!" Happy agreed cheerfully. Yusei pondered on the idea for a few moments before he smiled a bit.

"Okay, we'll meet halfway." Yusei said before he extended a hand to the trio. Natsu was the first to put his hand on top of Yusei's, followed by Lucy and finally Happy.

This simple gesture represented the promise the four of them made.

'Magnolia, a few minutes later…'

"Hmmm, this must be it." Yusei said to no one as he was standing in front of the courier office of Magnolia, which was lucky nearby Lucy's apartment. It was a simple cream-painted building with a white letter sign on top. Several blue mailboxes could be seen next to both doors. In order to complete his job, Yusei needed to pick up the item he was delivering at the office, then head to Mechro town to give to the client. It seemed simple enough, though he would have to use his Duel Runner if he was gonna save time. The Signer made his walk towards the doors before opening them, revealing the rather simple office inside. He noticed a female, wearing a white button up shirt that made her figure stand out, green eyes, brown hair that was tied in a ponytail and small glasses standing on the other side of the counter. "Excuse me?" The female raised a finger, signalling him to wait as she finished writing a letter. She then looked up at Yusei with a small smile.

"Welcome to Magnolia Mail. My name is Clare. How can I help you today?" She asked in a friendly tone.

"I'm here to pick up a package to deliver to Mechro town. I'm from Fairy Tail." Yusei reached into his jacket pocket and handed Clare the job request. She read through the contents before nodding and pulling out a small box from the counter.

"Okay, this is a very important package that needs to be delivered to Howe's Magicmobile Workshop. It has some parts he's been waiting to come in for a long time. Just go past Shiratsume and you should arrive in Mechro in two hours." Clare said like it was the simplest thing in the world. "Will you be able to make it mister…."

"Just call me Yusei, and trust me, I'll make it." Yusei said with a confident tone. She looked at him curiously before shrugging, seeing as he was more than willing to take the job.

"Okay, good luck." He gave her a wave before exiting the office. "Huh, first there was that Salamander guy with pink hair, now this guy. Fairy Tail sure attracts strange folks." Clare then returned to finishing her dreadful paperwork.

"Okay, just need to go past Shiratsume…" Yusei reached inside his deck box and pulled out the card with an image of his Duel Runner on it. He hadn't tried to bring out his pride and joy out of its card form, yet he would have to if he was going to get to Mechro.

"Duel Runner." The card then began to glow, bringing out Yusei's runner. It shocked him, yes, but so have the other crap he's seen in this world. Putting on his helmet, Yusei revved the engine before driving away.

Yusei Fudo's first job as a Fairy Tail wizard was underway.

And that wraps up the third chapter with a nice little cliffhanger. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, even if there wasn't really any action whatsoever. Yes, it may seem boring, but I find chapters that take a step back from the action is a good way for the characters to relax. Too much pressure isn't good for anyone, even fictional characters need a break. Trust me, when the Eisenwald arc comes, the action will be cranked up, especially with Yusei and the second Champion.

I'm still willing to continue hearing your requests for Heroes to appear, and I will consider them. I guess I should've said it, but the main and side Heroes of any world are eligible, but not characters who blur the lines as that would be a bad idea on the Overseers' part. There is a chance I will make original arcs for this story to expand on the lore of Fairy Tail while also giving certain characters time to shine. But that's for another day.

Anyways, I hope you guys can stick around for this story, and maybe check out the stories I've done, as well as the ones my beta reader Earth Dragon Arnighte has done.

But we aren't done yet….

'Elsewhere'

Fire. That was all the little girl could see around her.

The heat was intense, and the smoke was filling her little lungs to the point she couldn't breath.

Her vision was getting so blurry, and crackling of the flames were filling her ears.

It hurts… it hurts so much.

"Stay with me *cough* baby. We'll get out of this." Her mother called out, holding her tightly as their house was beginning to collapse. Help should be on their way, yet at this rate, they would be long dead. The flames were getting closer and she couldn't breath. Yet she still needed to comfort her daughter.

"Mommy… I can't breathe." The girl whimpered, coughing harshly. Her mother bit her lower lip as she rubbed her daughter's back. She wanted to give her hope, but at this rate, they'd be turned to ash.

'Please, anyone… help…' The mother closed her eyes, tears slowly running down her eyes as the flames got closer and closer….

*SWOOSH*

However, before those flames could touch them…. They suddenly died out. The mother slowly opened her eyes, and when she noticed the flames were gone, she gasped. "H-How?"

"Get up!" A voice suddenly called out from the smoke. From the shadows, a lone figure ran towards the mother/daughter duo, offering them a hand. "We need to get out of here before they whole building collapses." Nodding in agreement, the mother took the stranger's hand, allowing her to stand up while she carried her daughter with the other arm. The three quickly escaped the burning building, Fresh air brushed against the mother's face as she quickly fell on one knee.

"Mary, Katherine!" A group of civilians quickly ran to the mother, wrapping a blanket around her. "Are you two okay?"

"Yes… just… give me a minute…" The mother known as Mary said, coughing out the smoke in her lungs. She lowered her daughter, wiping her face. "Honey, are you okay?" Though the daughter coughed a few times, she opened her eyes, giving her mom a smile. Sighing in relief, the mother looked up at the stranger who saved her. "Thank you. Thank you so much."

"It's no trouble, madam." The stranger who saved Mary and Katherine was female, dressed in a heavy black firefighter's outfit with a large black hat, matching long hair and violet eyes. She gave them a smile while giving a salute. "A Fire Soldier never leaves anyone behind."
