This is a very different rendition of Harry potter universe than ure used to. Ofc its an AU, with much more culturally and technologically enhanced wizarding society, larger wizarding population etc. The world or earth is much larger to accommodate the extra mythical countries ive brought up.
Structure of Wizarding World;
The Wizarding World in this fic has a UN like organization called ICW(International Confederation of Wizards) and comprises of reps from most wizarding countries.
Wizarding Britain has a dormant monarchy that had control of Britain, Denmark, North Pole(yes its a magical country)and other smaller states in an empire called Brittania which destabilized when King Arthur Pendragon died without an heir. Britain lost its control of its other states and was reduced to what it is today. Before death, King Arthur alongside Merlin established a High Council consisting of the 14 Founding Families(families that helped the pendragons in forming brittania) to rule in his stead. In the year 1569, the High Council established the Magical Government in response to the cries of the pple for representation in power. A Magical Prime Minister was elected by the pple as the democratic executive power leaving the High Council (now Wizengamot) to deal with legislature and court alongside other noble families found worthy of seats.
Roman Empire
Yes theres a roman empire :)
Ruled by a the imperial family called the Caesar family, all with characteristic pure white hair, elf like features and kaleidoscopic eyes. They are descendants of Augustus Caesar and rule over present day italy, spain, southern france,greece,egypt,morocco,parts of russia etc. This empire is independent of the ICW and is not on very friendly terms with ICW major allies(USA,Britain, Imperial japan). There is senate to represent the people's voice and they posses the largest military and best economy. The ruler is referred to as the Augustus and his/her heir is given the term Noble Caesar or just Caesar.
