A/N: Alright. I just completely forgot that Wendy cannot use her magic. She is in another world, and I have been completely ignorant with the concept of the lore. Now that is over and done with, let's get on with the chapter. AGAIN, this will be a short chapter before the next chapters will be long. ONE MORE thing, if you want to feel something within the story, then I suggest listening to the OST that is about to be played to make it more interesting.

Moments Earlier…
Wendy Marvell was making her way towards the Oedon Chapel that the elderly lady had told her about. The Young Dragon Slayer knew she was signing her own death, which is why she had to avoid any confrontation with these Yharamites unless if it's absolutely necessary. Which is why she decided to pick up a simple looking Saber Sword with her as she passed by a corpse. She was not efficient with weapons, but seeing Erza using swords like this may provide her the necessary requirements to wield such weaponry.
Wendy headed back towards where she first saw the lamppost. At the left side, she saw a gate that had been opened. A thought came to her mind. 'Guess I'll be going there then?'
She headed right through the open gate, and she began to walk. As she did so, she immediately spotted a Yharnamite with a touch on his right hand and a poorly made wooden shield on the other. Said individual looked at Wendy and immediately shouted in a very unusual tone that she heard. "Cursed Beast!" He swung his touch at the young girl.
Wendy immediately dodged the deranged man's swing and managed to get to safety as she saw a doorway that led inside of the house. Immediately slamming the door after entering, she let out a sigh of relief as she was finally safe…only to have to dodge another swing when another Yharnamite swung a Saber sword towards her position.
"You plague-ridden rat!" He shouted. Wendy quickly went up the stairs as she heard a gunman starting up his weapon and firing it towards where she was at.
"Is it me or are these Yharnamites crazy!?" That was the thought of Wendy as she exited to the left side of the open door. She eventually found herself to the path that eventually led to the bridge to where it led to the Oedon Chapel.
Wendy used the Saber to block an oncoming attack coming from a Yharnamite that awaited in top of the stairs. Out of her dragon instincts, Wendy yanked the man's right arm and pushed him down the stairs.
It didn't kill the man, but Wendy felt bad for doing this as she felt a pit building within her stomach. That wasn't time to reflect on her actions as she looked to the left to see a bridge that led to her destination. The only problem is that a huge Yharnamite was blocking the only pathway between her and the way that led to the chapel.
Looking at the weapon she held, Wendy had a choice to make. She could at least fight the giant that was surrounded by a flock of birds. Or She could simply just run by. Already, she knew what option to choose. "Perhaps I'll go with the latter."
Shaking her thoughts, Wendy proceeded to sprint pass by the giant and a flock of ravens. This caused the mentioned enormous individual to scream at her and swung a brick towards her, which only barely missed her. Wendy didn't have time to even think about what had just happened as she went through the entrance of the bridge and stopped once the crazed colossal stopped in his tracks. Looking at this made Wendy confused. 'Why did he stop? He is supposed to attack me as I am right open.' Right now, she needed to get to the Odeon Chapel, the entrance was in front of her.
Walking through the abandoned pathway filled with rubble and abandoned horse carts, Wendy eyed the door that was sitting right before her. "The entrance is just right through there." She spoke analytically while walking. "All I have to do is- "
Wendy immediately covered her eyes as she heard that same animalistic scream. Her enhanced dragon hearing didn't help the matter. She felt the ground shaking and turned to see a beast standing before her and the entrance.
A big beast was all Wendy could think of. It was covered in a thick coat of grey fur around its body, large antlers were seen on the top of its head and had a feral, dog-like face covered in blood. Its left arm is notably larger and matted with more hair than its right arm. Although it appeared to be malnourished, as well as having its ribs heavily exposed and its stomachs sunken-in, Wendy knew this thing or whatever it is dangerous. Too dangerous for her to handle.
Insert Bloodborne OST: Cleric Beast
The beast looked at Wendy and immediately let out a loud, piercing shriek. Wendy didn't have time to cover her ears as she saw it quickly approaching her. It crushed a carriage along the way and swung its long arm to her. Wendy managed to dodge the swing by moving inwards. She used the Saber that she picked up and swung it across its stomach. It barely scratches it but managed to cause the beast to let out a loud scream.
Wendy managed to go to the right and made a few slashes to the leg. The creature brought its hands together and slammed onto the ground. She barely managed to avoid the attack. Wendy looked at the creature who was about to make another slam attack, so she went inwards to avoid the attack once again. The Young Dragon Slayer felt the air flowing throughout her body and an idea popped up in her mind.
"That's it!" Wendy mentally said to herself. "If I could only gather more air, then maybe, JUST maybe deliver a powerful blow to the creature." All she needed to do was to gather more air.
With that thought in mind, Wendy dodged to the left and swallowed the little air that came from the creature's attack. She felt something building up within her body. It may not be a lot, but it was enough for the Young Dragon Slayer to build up a powerful attack. Dodging another attack and gathering small amounts of air, Wendy used the Saber to pierce the beast's head. Only for the sword to be stuck deep onto the beast's left eye. It let out a painful shriek as it was facing up to the sky.
It proceeded to let out multiple slams to the ground. This created multiple air for the Young Dragon Slayer. Speaking of which, she proceeded to eat it and felt her jaw becoming numb. "Need to do this now!"
Wendy felt the power build up to deliver a powerful blow to the large creature. She may not have weapon as it was stuck onto the beast, but it was now or never to unleash her magical attack.
All she had to do now was to wait for the Creature's head to get near the ground. Wendy moved backwards when the beast let out a slam attack and she ran towards its position. "SKY DRAGON…" She spoke to herself as she felt power running through her. "WIND ATTACK!" She let out both arm and…
Air didn't come out from her hands. Wendy was in the state of shock as she didn't realize something. "Oh no. I didn't come to see that there is no earthano I had sensed." Now that she thought about it, Wendy didn't feel anything that would enable her to activate her powers. Perhaps her slumber must have caused her to not sense any earthano within Yharnam.
Unfortunately, Wendy was too distracted to see the beast grabbing her with its long, furry left arm. Wendy locked eyes onto the creature and felt her ears bursting as it let out an ear-piercing scream. It then proceeded to toss Wendy into the ground. Said girl coughed out a bit of blood and wiped her mouth. She felt dizzy to know that the large beast was closing towards her position and was about to crush her under its foot.
Before it could do that, a sound of glass shattering onto the beast's face. Wendy's vision became visible and saw that its face was covered in flames. Her ears picked up the sound of footsteps and turned towards the direction to see a man who was wearing some set of dark attire. He was carrying some sort of demented weapon that was a mix between a saw and a cleaver and on the other was a simple-looking gun.
Whoever this person was, Wendy was glad someone managed to save her in time.
The large beast swung its arms towards the man, who easily dodged each attack by swiftly moving to the sides. He horizontally swung his Saw Spear towards the creature's right hand, which cut off some of its fingers. Blood was spilled over to the man, but it didn't seem to bother him. The beast then used its long arm that managed to stun the strange individual. This didn't stun him as he injected some sort of vial onto his right thigh. He rushed towards the beast's left arm and proceeded to all his force to cut the arm off.
The creature let out a painful scream and was too distracted to see that the man went up to it's left foot and ensued to do the same thing. The beast was now down to the ground and the individual saw a Saber dug into one of its eyes.
End Bloodborne OST
The Hunter was breathing heavily and looked over to where the kid was lying. A sensation of relief flowed through his body as he was glad that he managed to save a kid in time. "Good. She's safe. I need to check up on her before killing the beast." The Hunter proceeded to holster back his pistol and walked towards the Young Dragon Slayer. Wendy looked at the man's blue eyes and saw he handed out his hand. "Are you okay?" His voice was muffled behind the cloth bandana he wore that covered his mouth.
Wendy looked at the man for a few seconds. "Y-yes, I'm alright." Wendy grabbed the man's hand and stood back up. She saw the man walking towards the downed beast and was curious to know what he is about to do. "Um, what are you going to do, mister?"
The Hunter looked back at her and gave her a warning. "If I were you, you'd better look away. You won't like what I am about to do." Wendy knew that the man was serious, so she did just that.
Wendy heard that the man was near the creature and whatever he was going to do, it wasn't pretty.
However, multiple ghastly groans and laughter caught the Young Dragon Slayer's attention. She looked where he feet were at and her eyes wide as she saw those same grotesque creatures surround her. Naturally, she as confused by all of these and questioned were raced on her head. "Where did they come from?! How did they know where I am?! More importantly, Why are they following me?!"
Wendy heard the sound of flesh being ripped out. She looked back to where the man was. There, she saw the man now covered in a lot of blood and holding a tongue that was recently ripped out. Seeing the sight before her wanted to make her close her eyes.
The Hunter dropped the beast's tongue to the ground and heard the sound of something dropped the ground as well. Knowing what he is going to expect, he let out an irritated groan as he looked back to where the kid was, only to be knocked out cold and was surrounded by those small creatures called the Messengers. He had a feeling that something was unique about this kid. Walking to where Wendy laid, the Hunter carried her, princess style, and he eyed at the creatures before him. "Is this another hunter?" He asked, to which the Messengers nodded their heads at him before disappearing.
Letting out a calm sigh, the Hunter knew that he needed to get the kid into safety. He was surprised to know that she was a Hunter, which was strange as he didn't see anyone like her be a hunter. He needed to get his questions answered. 'Perhaps she could answer my question when I get back to the Dream.' Spotting a lamp that was near where the creature used to be, the Hunter proceeded to head there while carrying an unconscious Wendy and igniting the lamp.
The Hunter proceeded to touch the lamp once again. The purple light enveloped him and as it died down, the Hunter and Wendy were nowhere to be found.
HAPPY EASTER, OR HAPPY LATE EASTER IN SOME CASES! So, sorry if I didn't update this story as I wanted to write a Dark Souls III story. And it's with RWBY, obviously. But with a twist of my own that I am about to pull. Looking at what happened in the recent volumes, it would be fitting for a series like Dark Souls.
Yeah, this was not my best chapter to write with a fight scene. It felt rushed. But I have been playing Bloodborne a total of three times as of now. I am starting to think that Bloodborne may be my favorite game of the Soulsborne series, including Elden Ring which I played four times, and Dark Souls 3 which I played four times and now on its fifth playthrough.
Now, I know that Bloodborne and Fairy Tail isn't my niche, but I will try my best to complete this story. And to do that, I may exclude Chalice Dungeon Bosses and some optional bosses. Who knows, I may do it off-screen.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this short chapter and hopefully I will see you all in the next chapter…whenever it will be published.
