A/N: Well, lest chapter didn't end the way I had expected. So now, this chapter is going to be relaxed. When I said that, I mean the next two chapter. Wendy simply cannot go straight on the hunt. She needs to get her bearing straight before any actions can be done. With that, let's get onto the chapter. One more thing as I hate to get copyrighted, I DO NOT OWN Fairy Tail and Bloodborne. They belong to their original owners.

Dragon Hunter of Yharnam

Fourth Hunt

The Hunter's Dream

Within an infirmary tent, Wendy was looking over at her friend, Chelia, who laid unconscious in the infirmary bed. The Young Dragon Slayer had curled both of her hands as she thought the events prior to all of this. "Chelia… you didn't have to do that for me." She gently spoke to her best friend.

Wendy suddenly heard the sound of movement and looked to the infirmary bed to see her friend waking up. "Chelia?"

Her friend looked at her. "Wendy—"

"CHELIA!" Wendy shouted before she threw herself to hug her best friend. She cuddled her friend tightly while tears were rolling down from her eyes. "You're awake! I was starting to become worried that you may not wake up!"

The God Slayer saw how worried her best friend was. She patted Wendy on the back while giving a small smile to her. "It's alright. I did that for your sake."

"But… "Wendy was about to speak as she felt chocked up to what she was going to say. "But what do you did come at the cost of losing your powers as I...I couldn't defeat Dimaria."

"Wendy…" The God Slayer placed a hand on Wendy's shoulder while having a smile of assurance shown on her face. "It's alright. I may have lost my magic while fighting her, but I am still here."

The Young Dragon Slayer nodded her at Chelia's statement. "Yeah." Now that she was alone with Chelia, there was a question that she wanted to ask. "Now that is over, how are you going to contribute to Lamia Scale now that your magic is gone?"

That was something that Chelia needed to think upon. "I dunno. I need more time to think about it."

"Oh. I see." Wendy spoke before she got up from her seat and headed out. Before doing so, she looked over at her friend for one last time before she exited the tent to allow her friend to rest.

Just right outside of the tent, Carla saw her best friend exiting. "Wendy," Without a second to waste, she flew over to where the Young Dragon Slayer was. "Are you alright, child?"

Wendy looked over at her friend with a small smile. "Yeah. Chelia had just woken up. She needs some time to recover from her wounds. And I think it would be better if I left her alone for the time being."

That was something that the Exceed could agree on. "Now that is over, I think we should head back to Fairy Tail and join the fight. We do not want the Guild to lose."

-Dream End? –

Wendy groaned as she awoke from that dream, she kept on having after the war. In an instant, she knew her surroundings were very different from before.

The first thing she saw was the grey, cloudy sky. She felt the ground as she was stood up and looked at her surroundings. She was lying down on the pathway that led to a workshop that was sitting on top of another hill while it overlooked a small garden and the many gravestones that were seen. As strange as it sounds, Wendy found this place to be dull yet relaxing environment. It is as if it was some sort of safe haven.

The Young Dragon Slayer was confused. Last time, she was within the city of Yharnam before being knocked out after witnessing that gruesome act made by that man, and now…

"Ah. You're awake, Young Hunter. Welcome to the Dream."

Wendy's eyes widened when she heard that familiar voice from before. Turning to where it came from, her eyes were widened as she saw an individual. It was a woman, well, she looked like one. She was tall, though not tall by the likes of Elfman. She wore an odd set of fine-looking clothes that has been well cared for and a bonnet that covered her white, silky hair.

Yet Wendy can see that her eyes were plain yellow.

Looking at her hands, Wendy could already tell that this thing was… "A-A Doll!?"

"Yes." The Doll echoed, not bothered by Wendy's dumbfounded reaction. Her face was porcelain, joints were visible between each knuckle instead of bones. "I am here in this dream to look after you."

Wendy couldn't believe it. It was a Doll. a Doll that was speaking. She couldn't fathom what was currently going on. "A-am I dead?! T-th-this can't be real!?"

"Real?" The Doll tilted her head.

"This place!" The Young Dragon Slayer spoke as she looked around her surroundings. "I was knocked out because—" She and the Doll heard the workshop's door opened and she was horrified to see who it was.

It was the same man that brutally ripped the tongue off from that downed beast. Wendy had one word to mutter. "EEK!"

The Hunter looked at the young kid and he was glad he was awake as he walked near her. "Glad you're awake, kid. Welcome to the—" He didn't say anything else as he and the Doll saw Wendy turn to the opposite side and began to run.

At least, she tried to. Before Wendy could go any further, something had caught within her foot that caused her to trip and fall face first onto the floor. She got up and let out a painful groan. After she no longer felt dazed, she looked over to see what caught her foot, only to see a set of clothes that was folded and piled up. It was suspended on the miniature hands of those creatures poking their heads out of a pool of smoke. It was the exact same grotesque creatures she saw on her lucid-like state, and throughout Yharnam. This made the Young Dragon Slayer crawl back in fear.

"Young Hunter, please." The Doll spoke to Wendy. "You're scaring the Little Ones."

"Scaring them?!" Wendy said in complete distress and disgust. "H-how could I possibly be scaring something like that!? And Littles Ones, why do you call them that?! L-look at it, they're creepy!"

Wendy's words made the creatures lower their heads and they let out a low syncing wail. This made her actually calm down for once. "Oh...I am scaring them, aren't I?"

"Yes," the Doll answered the Young Dragon Slayer's question. "I want you to calm down, young Hunter. And once you do, you are free to ask me any question you want answers. Just as long as you don't hurt the Little Ones."

Getting back up to her feet, Wendy looked to what the Little Ones were holding. From what she saw, it was the same attire that man was wearing. Except, the design was different, and the color were black instead of grey. "What are they holding?"

"An outfit that you can change on, Young Hunter." The Doll answered. "The Messengers, the Little Ones, wanted you to have it as a gift."

"They want me to…have it?" Wendy spoke before looking at the Doll. "Why?"

"A Hunter must hunt, and the outfit you're currently wearing will not be suitable." The Doll responded to her curious question. "What better than an outfit fashioned by Gehrman himself."

"Gehrman?" Wendy said, not hearing that name before.

That name sparked a reminder in the Hunter's head. "Speaking of which, he awaits you within the workshop." He pointed to the building behind him. "You better meet him right after you change into that outfit."

Now, that was sorted, Wendy really do need to change from her current dress she was wearing. Grabbing the outfit that made the Messengers wail happily, Wendy looked to see a weapon, that was rusted and a mix between a saw and a cleaver, being held by those same creatures in the same place. The Young Dragon Slayer picked it up. She felt the weight difference between this and the Saber word she held before ended up in this Dream. She looked back at the two individuals. "I better start getting changed now."

-Scene Change-

Wendy turned her whole body as she changed into the outfit that the Messengers had given her. It may not be her preferred choice as it was black and were tight on certain areas, it may have been practical for this kind of thing. She went out of spot she was changing in and presented her looks to both the Hunter and the Doll. "So, how does this look on me?"

The Doll clasped both of her hands. "You look wonderful, Young Hunter. Although…" She walked towards Wendy. The Young Dragon Slayer couldn't help but feel uncomfortable as she saw the Doll walking ever so smoothly for an inanimate object. "Your hair needs to be tied up as it is not practical for Hunter to have their hairs free flowing."

Wendy had somehow agreed to that. Her hair could be used against her. Now that she thought of it… "Hold on, does that mean… no. I shouldn't partake in what I think it is. I want to go home!"

"Young Hunter…" The Doll's words broke her trail of thoughts. She looked over to where "she" was and saw that the Doll had the look of concern after tying her hair up to a bun. "Is something bothering you?"

Wendy shook her head in response. "No. I'm fine." The Hunter wasn't so sure about her statement but decided to ask that question later on. Her hair was tied up that was fitting for hunting.

The Young Dragon Slayer proceeded to head up to the workshop and entered. As she was inside, she saw that an alter was in the center of the room, as well as a miniature tool shop and a fireplace was seen. Her eyes scanned around to see a pile of books all over. She immediately stopped an elderly man sitting on a wheelchair as he leaned over to a cane. He saw the same unusual attire that the Doll had along with a tattered top hat, and Wendy could clearly see that a peg was seen on his right foot. Already, she had a guess to know who he was. "You must be Gehrman?"

"Ah, Yes, Young One." The elderly man smiled at the Young Dragon Slayer. "I am..., friend to you hunters."

Well, this man seemed friendly to Wendy. "And what is this place? That Doll refers to it as the Dream."

"This?" Gehrman looked around the building. "You must be referring to this place. This is the Hunter's Dream. This will be you new home from now on."

Wendy's eyes widened at his words. "M-my new home?!" She couldn't believe what she was hearing. This place was to be her new home. All she wanted was to go back to her original home and see her friends again.

Gehrman saw the reaction on the young girl's face. He couldn't believe that this is the same individual who managed to withstand herself against a beast. "Yes. You're sure to be in a fine haze about now. But don't think too hard about all of this. Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good. You know, it's just what hunters do! You'll get used to it..."

He looked around the workshop. Seeing this brought a sense of nostalgia. "This was once a safe haven for hunters. A workshop where hunters used blood to enhance their weapons and flesh. We don't have as many tools as we once did, but..." He looked back at the young Dragon Slayer, "You're welcome to use whatever you find." He leaned over in his wheelchair and whispered said to her, "Even the Doll. Should it please you…"

Wendy clearly heard that, and this shivered her to the core. "Um, yes. I'll be using whatever it's useful, Mr Gehrman." She slowly backed away and headed to the main door. "If you would please excuse me, I better be going then…" She turned around and headed out. While doing so, she was still processing what Gehrman said in regard to the Doll. "What does he mean by 'should it please me' when he was talking about that Doll? Is he implying that…" She disapprovingly shook her head. "No, I am not going to be doing that to her. That's just creepy."

"Young Hunter…" Wendy's bothersome thoughts were broken when she turned to look at the Doll, who had finished speaking to the Hunter. "Did you speak with Gehrman?"

"Y-yes, actually…" The Young Dragon Slayer spoke. "He said something about you..."

The Hunter saw the look on her face when she said that and let out a groan. "Didn't I tell him, to NOT say that?" He had realized that he hasn't introduced himself yet and didn't know the young girl's name. He cleared his throat to grab her attention. "By the way, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Gideon. Gideon Harthlan if you're wondering."

Wendy looked at Gideon and spoke, "Well, it's nice to meet you, Mr Gideon. I'm Wendy Marvell." She bowed down to him. "It's nice to meet you."

"Well, kid." Gideon spoke as he walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Now that you're a hunter, it's time to go back on the hunt."

"The Hunt?" Wendy thoughtfully spoke before knowing what he is implying towards. "Oh, you mean hunting down the beast. Well, truth be told…" She wasn't so sure if she should tell him and the Doll that she was from another world yet. She needed some time to think on how she should approach it. "I'm not so sure about it yet."

Gideon let out a quiet sigh. "I know you aren't fond of killing…" He wasn't so sure if he would tell her that the beast aren't what he was told. Wendy was a kid. "Just stick with me and watch how a Hunter Hunts." He stood up and headed to one of the gravestones. He knelt down and place a hand. "Come on. We better resume on the Hunt."

NOW the nightmares are about to begin for Wendy Marvell. It won't be pleasant for her from this point on and it will surely change her forever.

About the outfit she is wearing…it's the Yharnam Hunter's attire that has been modified to fit in her size. You may not like it, but I may change her clothing appearance in the future chapter.

If you're wondering where both Wendy and Gideon are heading towards, it's in the Cathedral Ward. And YES, it's that boss that will be a good introduction to the start of Wendy's nightmare fueled adventure in Yharnam.

If you're wondering why I named the Good Hunter as Gideon Harthlan, here is a simple answer. Gideon Harthlan = Good Hunter. You see it now?

Yeah, the chapter is short. But at least, it is the final introduction of chapters as now it is time for the juicy bits.

I am undeciding whether the Chalice Dungeons should be included or be a separate story of its own. Truth be told, I want this Fanfiction story to be at least fifty-five or less chapters. I am aware that all the bosses are important. But I haven't decided on what to do yet.

I may not be updating this story in a while. I need to plan on what actions are best. Well, now that is over, I will see you all in the next chapter…whenever it will come.
