This is the fifth time I had to do this this year. Hopefully, this won't be a recurring theme for 2024. But yeah, the latest chapter for Smash Life, is supposed to be one with some focus on the Indigo Disk DLC from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. But unfortunately...
...I got sick. Again. Terrible timing, I know. As of this writing, I'm not entirely feeling a hundred percent just yet - I have been dealing with a nagging sinus infection. But no worries - I plan on having chapter 404 published sometime next week before Thursday. Preferably around Wednesday or so.
And where does this leave the very next chapter? Chapter 405? Many of you might expect it to be a year-end chapter but...surprise, surprise! I'm not doing one this year. For a few reasons - A) I kinda peaked with the Festivus chapter, B) I couldn't write for a full year, so the vibes would be off, C) doing such chapters obviously take a lot of work, and D) the advent of Omnis Adest kinda offsets things a bit. So those are your four reasons.
But as stated earlier, chapter 404 of Smash Life will be published sometime next week. Chapter 405 will be released later, and it will conclude this year's run of holiday-themed chapters (unless chapter 406 is a Kwanza chapter or something, I dunno). That's all I have to share for now. Hopefully, this nasal congestion will be gone soon...
