"Mommy," Grace whispered, gently tapping her mother's shoulder. "Mommy, please wake up."

Grace had been trying to wake up her mother for the last few minutes with no luck. She had gone to sleep after the scary man hit her over the head with the big metal stick and dragged them into the van. She had kicked and screamed as loud as she could but unfortunately, no one had heard her. They had driven for a long time before being pulled out of the van and into a big old building and thrown and locked into a small room. She had just caught the name of the building as they were being taken inside, but for the life of her, couldn't pronounce it due to it being more advanced than her current vocabulary.

She glanced around the dimly lit room and spotted a small opening that was at the perfect height for her small stature. She walked over to it and glanced outside. It was dark but she was able to make out the skyline of the city in the distance.

"Grace?" she suddenly heard. She turned her head to see her mother starting to sit up, looking over at her. "Is that you, honey?"

"Mommy!" she called out. The four year old ran to her mother and jumped into her arms, wrapping her arms tightly around her neck.

A few tears slid down Eddie's cheeks as she kissed Grace's face over and over.

"Are you okay?" she asked softly. She did a glance over of her daughter. "Did he hurt you, sweetheart?"

"He didn't hurt me. I'm okay," she reassured her mother, brushing her small hand against her cheek. Then, she caught a glance of the red bruise starting to form on her mother's cheekbone. "He wasn't very nice to you, Mommy. He hit you really hard."

"I know, Grace. But Mommy's okay. I'm just glad that he didn't hurt you."

"I kicked and screamed really really loud like you and Daddy told me to if someone tried to take me." Suddenly, a small tear fell down the four year old's cheek. "No one heard me. I screamed as loud as I could."

Eddie hugged her close and rubbed soothing circles on her back "I know you did. I'm so proud of you, Grace. And I know that Daddy is too. You're such a brave girl."

Grace nodded and laid her head down on her mother's shoulder. There was a long silence between the pair before Grace spoke up again.

"Mommy?"

"Yes Grace?" she responded.

"Daddy, Uncle Danny, and Grandpa… they're looking for us, aren't they?" the four year old asked. "They're going to make sure we go home right?"

Eddie felt herself get choked up and held her daughter tight, "Of course they are. You know that they're not going to stop until they find us."

The tension that the four year old's small body held started to fade away and Eddie felt her start to relax. "Good," she replied simply.

Jamie and Danny spent the next few hours at the 29 precinct going through surveillance footage from every place they were able to get it. They reviewed the surveillance footage from every camera at the movie theater, the parking garage, and even the bodega across the street from where they found Eddie's purse, phone, and Grace's hair bow. To Jamie's frustration, they came out with nothing.

"Damn it!" he shouted, throwing the papers he had in his hand onto the ground. "You can't even see them walking in the bodega footage! The camera doesn't even show across the street!"

Danny stood back and let Jamie get his frustrations out. It was killing him inside to see his little brother this way. And as a father and husband, he understood his feelings. He almost lost his mind when Linda was kidnapped. If his boys were missing, he probably would've lost it on everyone in his path. And don't get him wrong, it was breaking him inside too knowing that his sister-in-law and his little goddaughter were out all alone with some maniac. But it gave him a little bit of peace to know that they were more than likely together. He knows that Eddie is a smart cop and was going to do everything she could to get them out.

"Someone had to have seen something, Danny," Jamie said a few minutes later after he had calmed down a little bit. "That bodega is always busy. There's no way no one wouldn't have seen or heard something. I know Grace would've screamed her head off. I really think that someone isn't talking."

"I agree. I say we go back and talk to the owner." Then, Danny stopped and sat in thought for a moment. Suddenly, he reached for his laptop and looked at the NYPD database. "And guess what? That bodega is actually being looked into for some illegal business dealings. They were going to bring the owner in for questioning tomorrow but we can go ahead and do that today."

As they were leaving, Jamie's phone came to life in his pocket. He looked at the caller ID and saw that it was Erin.

"Hello?" Jamie answered quickly. Suddenly, he heard his son's familiar cries in the background.

"Jamie, Conor is inconsolable," Erin said. "We've been trying to get him back to sleep for the past two hours but he doesn't want anything to do with us. He needs you. Do you think you can come over to calm him down? I know you guys are busy. Also, I think he's starting to run a fever. His cheeks are warm."

Jamie sighed, "I think it's because he's teething. Eddie is usually better at calming him down when he gets that way than I am. Get him one of the teething rings from the freezer, we put a few towards the back. I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Okay. I'll see you then. Bye Jamie."

"Bye Erin," He responded.

Then, Jamie turned toward Danny, who had overhead the conversation.

"Dan..."

"You go take care of my nephew," he replied. "I can take care of this. I'll call you if anything comes up."

Jamie nodded, pulled his keys out of his pocket and rushed out the door.

Eddie ran her hand through her daughter's wavy blonde locks as she slept in her arms. Grace looked peaceful, but still had that small worry wrinkle in the middle of her forehead. Oh, how she wished that she could take that away from her.

She was harboring alot of guilt about their situation, wondering if there was something different she could've done. She had contemplated stopping to confront the man but immediately vetoed the idea due to having Grace with her. Her most immediate concern was protecting her child and she figured that the best way to do that was to get to their car as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the man got to them first.

She doesn't remember much, only that her and Grace hit the ground together. After that, her whole world went dark. She's terrified to know what happened in the time she was knocked out. If the man laid a hand on her little girl, she would see to it that the man never lived another day.

She leaned back against the wall behind her, adjusting Grace in her arms. She worried about Jamie and Conor, wondering how they were dealing with this right now. She knew that her little boy would be okay, her husband and the rest of the family would make sure he's looked after. She did worry more about her husband, knowing that he was going to worry more about them and watching after Conor than taking care of himself.

She hugged her daughter close, rocking her side to side.

"I'm so sorry, honey," she whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I'm so sorry."

"Thank goodness you're here," Henry said, opening the door for his youngest grandson. "He's upstairs with Erin in your old room."

Jamie nodded and immediately went up the stairs. He made it to his old bedroom to find Erin pacing in front of the window, rocking Conor from side to side. The little boy seemed calmer now, but was still letting out small whimpers.

"Hey buddy," Jamie said gently. Conor immediately turned his head toward the sound of his father's voice. As soon as he laid eyes on him, tears started to pool in his eyes and he let out a loud cry. Jamie swiftly took the one year old into his arms. Erin gave a quick pat to her brother's back as she left the room.

"You're okay, Conor. You're okay," he comforted with a kiss to his temple. He rocked him from side to side as he walked around the room. His cries quickly quieted down into soft whimpers again. Eventually, the little one tucked his face into his father's neck, running his small pudgy hand down the side of his face. Jamie finally took a seat in the old rocking chair in the corner of the room, a gift from Henry when Grace was born.

"A little bit of me is glad that you're too little to understand what's going on," Jamie said softly to his son. He ran soothing hand up and down his back. "I wouldn't want you to have to experience what we're all going through right now."

"Your mama and sister wanted me to go with them..." Jamie continued. "But I told them that they should have quality time for just the two of them. Now... I'm kicking myself for not going. Maybe if I would've went, we wouldn't be in this situation right now. We could all be at home, comfortable in our beds... safe and sound."

He let out a wavering sigh as he rocked his son, "I'm going to get your mama and sister back, buddy. I promise that they're going to make it home. Even if it's the last thing I do."

Next, we discover who's behind the kidnappings and Jamie and Danny finally get a lead. Eddie and Grace try to cope with their current situation and discover an unexpected ally.
