Twilight Chiaki growled, staring at the TV screen with the Stadia controller in hand.
"You have exceeded the amount of space necessary to download this game. Please remove some space to make room."
"This piece of shit garbage console… I HAVE TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THIS FUCKING GAME TWENTY GOD DAMN TIMES AND I'M STILL GETTING THIS SHITTY ASS MESSAGE!"
The Triforce glowed brightly as the Stadia was immediately crumpled up into nothing, same with the controller.
"Always online, having to download everything with no room whatsoever… when I find that Vergil salesman, by golly, I'm going to rip his spine out of his body and use it as a jump rope!"
Salty… Kate rolled her eyes.
"Ugh… fuck this…" Twilight Chiaki threw it into a void and sighed deeply. "Okay… calm down… you can play Assassin's Creed a different way…"
There was a knock on her door as she walked over to open it up, revealing a student. "Oh hey, what's up?"
"We finished working on the project in front of the school. Come see!"
"Project? What project?" Twilight Chiaki tilted her head as she followed the student. The quad looked at each other before they followed her outside.
"Alright, remove the cover!" The student requested as some of the other students removed the cover, revealing a marble statue of Twilight Chiaki raising the Master Sword up high and the shield by her side.
Twilight Chiaki's eyes sparkled. "It's… it's…!"
"Tacky?" Clint snarked.
"Garbage?" America guessed.
"A disgrace?" Kate mumbled.
Yelena folded her arms. "An eyesore."
"Beautiful!" Twilight Chiaki grinned. "Oh my gosh, I love it!"
Of course you would… Kate rolled her eyes in disgust.
Twilight Chiaki climbed up the statue to get a better look at the sword. "Wow…" She whispered, pressing her fingers on it and sliding it down. "Ow!" She winced and pulled away, seeing some blood come out of her cut, though with the Triforce, it was automatically healed up.
"Yeah, it was a bit awkward to craft a sword with marble, so we went with stainless steel."
She smiled. "It's perfect." She jumped down and looked at the face of the statue and then winked. "Looking sexy~!"
My god, can you stop being such a narcissist for five minutes? America groaned.
"Aaaah, that put me in a better mood. Thank you~!" Twilight smiled and walked off with a hum.
"...Okay. Anyone want to know what I think?" Kate asked.
"It's tacky." Clint said.
"An eyesore?" Yelena guessed.
"A disgrace to Chiaki?" America guessed.
"It's-... pretty much all of that, yes." Kate sighed as America took a picture of it and sent it to Strange.

"What in…?" Strange wondered as he looked at the message he got.

"Hmm? Is that a… Jade Barroth approaching us?" Blake asked as they saw a Jade Barroth walking over to them.
"Wait a second, is that Meryl?" Ruby wondered.
"Heeeeeey!" Meryl waved them over.
Ruby smiled. "I knew she'd be okay!"
"So that's where you ran off to." Seryu said. "You went to catch a monster for yourself."
"Actually, this is for my sister." Meryl explained. "I figured she'd might want a Brute Wyvern, so I went looking. A simple Barroth wasn't going to cut it for me, but then I found this beauty!"
Sheele smiled. "I think she's going to like it."
"Indeed." Meryl smiled. "...Meanwhile, I wonder if I'll ever find a Monstie for myself."
"Maybe some time." Ruby said.
Cardin looked up ahead. "Hmm?" He wondered. "What the… what's a Lunagaron doing here?" He wondered as Kora and her group approached, with Weiss hopping off of the Lunagaron.
"Oh my gosh! That's the cutest dog I've ever seen~!" Ruby's eyes sparkled as she immediately went to hug the beast. "Oh, you're so fluffy! Yes you are~! Yes you are~! Who's the fluffiest~?"
"What's with the Lunagaron?" Cardin wondered.
"We were fighting a Tobi Kadachi when this thing came out of nowhere and battled us." Mahiru explained. "Apparently, it was actually just testing us."
"Yeah, and then it pretty much adopted Weiss!" Filo said. "...Or… would that be the other way around?"
Weiss nodded. "Deimos had no ill intention… oh, by the way, I named him Deimos." She said and then noticed Meryl with the Jade Barroth. "Oh, did you go out to find one for yourself?"
"Actually, this was more of a gift for you." Meryl said.
"Really?"
"Yeah." Meryl nodded as Weiss immediately hugged her.
"Oh thank you!" Weiss smiled. "We definitely need to find one for you!"
"Haha, I'm sure I'll find one." Meryl chuckled as she returned the favor.
Avinia smiled as she walked over to the chief with Kora and Navirou. "Chief! We got the windmill parts… or what's left of it."
"What's left of it?" Daul wondered curiously.
"Yeah, a big Lunagaron came out of nowhere and tore the poor guy to shreds." Kora explained.
"Ooooh…" Daul grimaced before he looked at what was left of it. "You know… this actually should be enough to power it up." He mused before smiling. "Yes, this will do! Now then, there's only one last thing left to do. The last thing we need is in the Jagged Rock Cave. A villager by the windmills will fill you in on the details."
"Okay!" Kora nodded as they walked off toward the windmills.
"Hey, it looks like the windmill is nearly completed!" Avinia said to the villager.
"Yes, and the last thing we need is from the Jagged Rock Cave… but the problem is, I'm afraid to go in there."
"What's the problem?" Kora asked.
He shuddered. "There's a monster in there that sneaks up on you. It doesn't make a sound, and then before you know it, it attacks you and you're that thing's dinner. Just speaking the name brings a chill up my spine…"
Avinia's eyes widened. "We'll take it down for you."
"Thank you… I refuse to step in there until it's deemed to be safe."
"Kora, gather up what you can. We're going into dangerous territory." Avinia warned.
"Okay." She nodded.
Later…
"Okay, I got them!" Kora said, as she had Blake, Ven, Mercedes, Captain Slime, Tech, and Meryl by her side.
"Okay. Let's go." Avinia said as she walked off with them.
Navirou looked up at the windmills. "Those windmills are coming along."
"Indeed. They're the symbol of us coming together after what had happened." Avinia said.
"You said someone had you change your mind on our way back. Who was it?" Navirou asked.
"You seriously don't remember him?"
"Huh?" Navirou tilted his head as they headed off for the cave.
Back at the village…
Cardin sat down in the snow and looked into the sky, chuckling. "Wonder how Chels is doing…"
The same villager walked by and shuddered. "I can't believe they're brave enough to go after that monster…"
"What's up? Something the matter?"
"Well… Avinia and her friends went out to take care of a monster that I'm… horrifically afraid of. That monster is bad news."
"Oh, I'm sure it's nothing… how bad is it?"
"I'm afraid to say…"
"Ah, you can tell me. It's probably nothing to worry about."
"Well, it's… it's…" He gulped. "A Khezu…"
"Ah, a Khezu…" Cardin closed his eyes, before his eyes widened. "A KHEZU?!" He yelled.
Nearby, Mahiru overheard the name as she was talking with Russel and Sky. "...A what now? What's a Khezu?"
"Ah, it's a good thing you haven't seen it… but to give you an idea on what it looks like-" Russel pulled out his scroll and showed her a picture. "That's a Khezu."
Mahiru narrowed her eyes, staring at the beast.
Flashback!
"Hey Chiaki. What'ya playing?" Mahiru asked.
"Shin Megami Tensei."
"Ah, coo-... the hell is that thing?!" She yelled in surprise. "Is that- …Okay, we're both thinking it, but is that what I think it is?!"
"Yes. His name is Mara."
"O-Oh! I see…" Mahiru blushed at the sight of the creature and looked away. Good god, that thing's the most lewd monster I've seen!
End flashback…
Mahiru's eyes widened. "Oh my god, that thing is Mara's child…"
"Hmm?" Gloria walked by. "What ye lookin' at?"
"Something entirely lewd." Mahiru said while blushing as Gloria took a look, and immediately paled at the sight.
"Holy shite, that thing is a Wiglett with teeth!" She whimpered, recalling what her brother showed her when he was in Paldea.

Back with the heroes…
The group walked through the cave, taking out a few Konchu and Zamites that tried to attack them, but were swiftly taken care of as they went further in.
"Ugh, whatever's in here, my whiskers are all tingly…" Navirou groaned.
"We should be getting close then…" Mercedes said.
Blake's ears twitched as a shiver ran up her spine. "Uuungh… I'm not liking this one bit…"
"Stay on your guards… this could get ugly…" Meryl said, her weapon at the ready as they walked around until they reached a dead end.
At that moment, an electrical surge struck Duke from the ground. The Great Jaggi tried to roar, but found himself paralyzed as he fell to the ground… and then an elongated white neck came down and started to eat him up whole.
Ratha turned his head, seeing Duke getting eaten up and let out a distressed roar, catching everyone's attention.
"DUKE?!" Kora screamed as the monster finished swallowing. With no eyes, the monster's head "looked" at them and gave them a toothy grin like it was taunting them. "You… whatever you are, SPIT HIM OUT!" She yelled.
"No good. Once a Khezu paralyzes a victim, they're dead before they even knew what hit them. Monsters, hunters, riders… once they're paralyzed, they're good as dead." Avinia said gravely as the Khezu hopped down and let out a terrifying screech.
BGM: The Chainsaw (Resident Evil 4 Remake)
"That… is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen!" Blake grimaced. …And yet, I'll take this over the X-Parasites…
Ven summoned his Keyblade. "Okay, let's knock this… weird thing out!"
Kora growled. "For Duke!" She declared as they got ready to fight.
The Khezu let out a roar, stretching its neck to try and whack them with their head but Blake used her semblance to get out of the way and fired Plasma Beams at it while Meryl threw a few pink fireballs at it.
Kora charged ahead and slashed the eyeless abomination as the Khezu opened its mouth, making Tech open fire with his bow, with arrows entering its gullet as it let out an uncomfortable grunt, yet it licked its lips, not caring about being turned into a pincushion on the inside as Captain Slime flanked him and slashed the creature.
The no eyed demon unleashed a loud screech that knocked everyone back, but Avinia shook her club to get everyone's defenses up while Mercedes used some heal spells, then Frostfang jumped up and bit down on the back of the Khezu. The abomination screamed as it shook off the Barioth, unaware of Meryl throwing in a few yellow fireballs where flaming bolts struck the monster, causing it to screech.
With a shriek, it aimed at the assailant and unleashed a powerful stream of electricity as Meryl responded by unleashing a stream of blue fire as they both connected, and pushed it back as the Khezu was engulfed in flames where Ven had the idea to use Firaga on it.
"Question… is it weak to fire?" Ven asked.
"Yes!" Avinia nodded.
"Good enough!" Ven nodded. The sight of this thing… plus its screams… hoo boy, I'm not gonna be sleeping at all tonight!
The nightmarish demon let out another powerful roar to stun everyone, but Kora grunted, powering through. "You… you took my monster AWAY FROM ME!" She yelled as she lunged forward and slashed at the beast, causing the pale abomination to back up as Kora delivered powerful swings until the pastel white demon swung its head to knock the sword off of Kora and knocked her down.
It then unleashed another screech to stun her… and moved its head to proceed to eat her up…
…If it wasn't for the timely arrival of some Anjanath jaws snapping shut on its elongated neck. It let out a surprised screech as Kora looked up to see Cardin on top of the beast.
"Get out of here, you sick leech!" Cardin said as Jana threw the Khezu toward the icy walls as he breathed fire at the Khezu. The monster screeched as it tried to get away, but Jana rampaged forward and crushed the unholy abomination underneath him, then tore it apart with his jaws before finally going for the neck, chomping down as hard as he can until the Khezu's head dropped to the ground.

The Anjanath pulled away and let out a triumphant roar.
"You guys okay?" Cardin asked.
"Glad you got here in time." Avinia said. "Not… all of us are okay though."
"What do you mean?" Cardin wondered as he scanned the area. "Hey, wasn't there a Great Jaggi with-... oooooh."
Kora sighed. "If only I had paid attention, I would-"
"Don't beat yourself up. Khezus are nasty creatures." Avinia said. "They kill even the best Rider's best monstie no matter how diligent you are. Don't let Duke's death be in vain. I feel like he'd want you to go on. After all, you're getting stronger from being a novice Rider."
"She's right! You got several good hits on that thing!" Navirou agreed.
Kora gave a sad smile. "I… suppose…"
"Yeah, keep it up and you'll be a clawdacious Rider just like that boy who inspired Avinia!"
"Who said that boy was a Rider…?" Avinia asked.
"Wait, he's not?"
"He tried his hardest to become a Rider, but it just never worked out for him. Come on, Navirou… if anyone should know, it's you."
"Huh?! I think you're being a bit unfair! I don't even know the guy!"
"So you have forgotten him…"
"Wait? It's someone I know… purrsonally?"
"He never earned the title of Rider, but he did ride the Great Poogie!" She let out a giggle. "Though, the Poogie wasn't very pleased…"
"Wait… you mean to tell me that the guy who inspired you is…"
"Don't say that! My town was also ruined by the Black Blight, but everyone's given it their all to rebuild the place. Helping each other out, isn't that what things are all about, chum?"
"...Debli…?!"
"Come on, let's go cheer you up with some grub." Cardin said, patting Kora on the back as did everyone else, leaving a dumbfounded Navirou behind.
"Huh…? Ack! Wait up!"
Back at the village…

"Wonderful! You're all back safe and sound… wait, one of your monsties are missing." Daul said before nodding in understanding, putting a comforting hand on Kora's shoulder. "Khezu ate your beast?"
"Yes…"
"Fret not, your monstie is with you in spirit." He smiled.
"Thanks…" She gave him another sad smile.
"Now then, we have all what we need for the windmill. That's one less thing for the to-do list…"
"To-do list? Navirou wondered.
"Yes, I've been tied up here too much to look into the pit. I'd love for you and your crew to help."
"Just leave it to us." Kora said.
"I'm not sure why, but the monsters near that pit have been acting up…"
"You're telling us! That Zamtrios outside of the village wasn't what we'd call friendly…" Navirou said.
"I see… it seems to be happening all around. The Guild's calling the lights "rage rays".
"Rage… rays?" Kora tilted her head.
"The strange light coming from the pits is what's enraging monsters. At least that's the guild's theory…"
"Lights that make monsters mad…" Ena mumbled to herself.
"You may run into rage rayed monsters by the pit. Be careful out there."
"Don't worry, you can count on us! We got a few friends who are stronger than they look… especially Rosie! Her cosmic prayers or whatever she says really packs a punch!" Navirou said.
"Indeed." Kora nodded. "Ena, what's the status on Dede?"
"The Felynes and I are hard at work, but we haven't found him yet. We'll keep looking. You focus on the pit."

"Right." Kora nodded as she walked off to tell the others, and then they went on their way with Avinia guiding them to Snowclad Mt. Lavina, with the whole group following them, along with Zinnia who had gotten out of the hot springs feeling very refreshed.
However, before they walked through the gates, a Zinogre was sleeping peacefully.
"Uh oh… a Zinogre…" Avinia whispered.
"Another Zinogre?!" Ruby whispered excitedly.
"Let's not disturb it…" Weiss said as they tried to sneak past it, but the Zinogre woke up from its nap and saw the group, and with a howl, it leaped into the air and got in front of them, snarling at them.
"Crap…" Avinia groaned.
However, Cerberus sprang into action and started to growl, communicating with the Zinogre. The Royal Zinogre snarled back, both of them growling as Ruby decided to join in. Thankfully, not growling like a maniac.
The Royal Zinogre narrowed its eyes at Ruby, slowly approaching her. "We don't mean any harm. We didn't mean to step into your territory. We're just several Riders that don't mean any trouble!"
Cerberus growled in agreement as the Royal Zinogre stopped in front of Ruby, inches from her face. Rosalina's motherly instincts kicking into high gear and summoned her wand, ready to protect Ruby as Yang had the same idea. Her gauntlets didn't activate, but she was willing to throw down if need be. In fact, Gloria was ready to pounce just in case if her best friend was about to get mauled.
Weiss, meanwhile, went into her Sheikah form and started to slowly play a melody from the ice lyre.
The Royal Zinogre continued to size them all up, scanning everyone as Cerberus continued to growl to try and get the royal monster to see reason. The Zinogre looked at the Lunagaron as he glared back at the Zinogre.
With a slow nod, the Royal Zinogre bowed before them, seemingly sensing how strong they are all and backed away, turning around and disappearing into the mountains.
"What was that all about?" Mine asked.
"He was mad that we stepped into his territory, but Weiss's music and the two of us calmly explaining it… he recognized how strong we all are and relented. He's still not happy, but he's not willing to pick a fight with a large group." Ruby explained.
"I had a feeling he was sizing us up…" Seryu said as they went through the gates.
BGM: Snowclad Summit: Lavina Glacial Peaks (Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin)
"Hmhmhmhm~" Navirou hummed as they walked through the snow, before pausing. "Wait a minute…"
"What's up?" Blake asked.
"I feel like somebody…" He turned around. "Is stalking us!"
No one was behind them, but up above, Tsukino was hiding from them. She dared not to peek given how Blake and Sienna were on to her.
"I, too, feel like someone's been following us, yet we can't get a good read on them…" Blake said.
"I know it's not our imaginations." Sienna said.
"Probably someone who's a big fan of yours truly. I know you ladies want a piece of me~! Hehehe~"
You can't be serious… Tsukino rolled her eyes.
"Oh please, anyone who'd want a piece of you would have crazy low standards." Cardin joked.
"Oh huh! I beg to differ…" Navirou chuckled.
Avinia shook her head with a chuckle. "We should be getting close…"
"Right…" Kora mumbled.
Avinia turned her head. "You okay? Are you still feeling down over Duke?"
"Yeah… if I can't save one monster, how am I ever going to be able to master riding a Rathalos? I mean, look at Weiss, she's able to ride on that Rathian like it's nothing!" She shook her head. "How am I supposed to master his power, let alone keep the dark power at bay?"
"Hmm…" Avinia looked at her softly. "What was your monster before that?"
"A Velocidrome. He got gutted by Adam's Glavenus… and now my Jaggi got eaten whole by a Khezu." She sighed. "What am I going to do?"
"It's hard, I know… but the fact that you're still here is proof that you're more than just a rookie Rider. True, Rider's make mistakes all the time… but you can learn from them. I'm sure your Monsters would want you to keep going for them."
"She's right. They wouldn't want you to be mopey all the time." Ruby said.
"Your monsties can feel emotion. If you feel sad or anxious, then your monstie wouldn't be at its best. They too would feel distressed that something is wrong with their trusted companion."
At that moment, Ratha gently nudged Kora, seemingly giving her a toothy smile as if to cheer her up.
"That's the first I'm hearing about it." Navirou said. "Huh…"
"If you're a lot happier, you're more focused, and so is your Monstie." Avinia said. "I know from experience… I've had a few bumps in the road with Frostfang, but that didn't stop us from bonding."
Kora shook her head, slapping her cheeks as she smiled. "Okay, I think I needed to hear that!" She said.
"You need this as well." Rosalina said as she hugged her.
"Oh… oooooooh!" Kora said in surprise.
"Look at that, you're gettin' Rosie's legendary hugs!" Cardin grinned.
"Mmm, it feels like I'm being hugged by a cloud~!" Kora said as she returned the hug before they both parted, where her mood had definitely improved. "Alright, now I'm back to normal!"
Mmm… I want a hug from her, just to experience what it's like. Tsukino thought.
Kora looked at Avinia. "Yeah, I know for a fact that you were hugged by her. That was the best!"
Avinia smiled. "Isn't it?" She giggled.
"...Okay, I'm jealous! I want a hug too!" Navirou said. "...In fact, maybe my secret admirer would want to hug me~!" He called out.
Tsukino rolled her eyes, pulling out a note and writing something down.

At that moment, the whole area rumbled as they turned to see the Rage Rays overhead. "We need to hurry!" Avinia said.
"Let's go." Kora said as they took off running, working their way through by going through several geysers and taking out a Jade Barroth, Gypceros and some Konshus as they then went through the cave, taking out a few Zammites and burning alive an eyeless abomination with Gloria helping out on that front, then they continued through the cavern until they reached the pink light.

"We're really calling these Rage Rays?" Zinnia asked with her arms folded.
"Well… what would you call them?" Avinia asked.
"I dunno… an eyesore? Pink lights?"
Ratha stared at the Rage Rays, narrowing his eyes and letting out a deep throaty growl, all of them unaware of Tsukino peeking out with Kyle.
"When is it going to show its power?" Kyle asked.
"I don't know…"
"Also, you said the tall lady gives the best hugs?"
"According to my sources, yes."
"...That's not a woman, that's an amazon." He mumbled before spotting Filo. He lightly gasped.
"What's wrong?"
"That angel girl…"
"What about her? Aside from her attacks, she's rather friendly with this Luminary guy."
"No no no, not that. Seeing that angel is a sign of the apocalypse. They say that in myths, angels shall whisk those to the heavens during the apocalypse. It's all connected. The holes, the lights, the angel… that Razewing Ratha must be eliminated."
"Hold up, you're getting all of that from an angel? It's more than likely a costume."
"It's not. Those wings look way too authentic to be considered a costume."
Tsukino sighed. "Kyle, it sounds like you were reading whackjob conspiracy theories instead of actual myths."
"It ain't a conspiracy!"
"No no…" Adam spoke up softly. "I want to hear more about these angels that you speak of… tell me more about them."
Tsukino groaned, quickly putting up a white cloak to blend in with the snow and moved away from the duo to get a better look.
At that moment, a Seltas flew on up to greet them, letting out a screech… before it was grabbed by a tail and put straight onto another monster. The Seltas Queen.
"A Seltas AND a Seltas Queen?! That can't be good!" Cardin said, as they heard roaring as Gypceros, Jade Barroths and Khezus approached them.
"We'll take the queen on." Weiss said as she was joined by Meryl, Rosalina, Serena, Annette, Mine and Terra.
BGM: Heavy Armor Bug (Monster Hunter Ultimate 4)
Scorpius Duo - Seltas and Seltas Queen
Kora readied her blade. "Ratha… let's knock them down."
Ratha let out a roar, kicking back his leg as Avinia readied herself with Frostfang accompanying her.
Kiran roared, upping their power and defense, Avinia helping out by adding more defense as Weiss hopped on her Jade Barroth. "Alright, Glacier! Let's do this!"
Glacier roared as he and the Seltas Queen both charged and headbutted each other, where she would attempt to grab Weiss with her tail, but Mine sniped it away while Terra swung his Keyblade down to create a rock pillar to pierce through the Seltas Queen.
Both Seltas spat out a corrosive acid, but Rosalina made it return to sender while Meryl threw a bunch of orange fireballs. "Saki, hit them with the ol' one two!" Weiss ordered as the Pink Rathian flew down and clawed the both of them before spinning around and whacking them with her tail as Susan joined in and spat out poison.
Both the Seltas Queen and Glacier slammed into each other again, this time Annette using Glacier's tail as a boost as she ran up and jumped up, swinging down and hitting the Seltas hard enough to knock it off of the Seltas Queen.
The Seltas got up and screeched, only to get sniped down by Mine. "Don't even think about it, buddy!" She said as the Seltas Queen unleashed a pheromone gas while also swinging her claws at Meryl, but she backflipped and hit her with a Blorange Fireball, freezing her on the spot while another Seltas came over, only for Rosalina to telekinetically grab the Seltas and threw it toward a wall while Mine peppered it with gunshots, having her Monsties jump in and tear it to pieces.
Glacier charged again, striking the Seltas Queen with enough force to break it out of its ice. The Seltas Queen responded by spitting out acid, but Weiss put up a barrier to block the attack. "Deimos!" Weiss called as her Lunagaron jumped in and swiped at the Seltas Queen, knocking her over on her belly, but she corrected herself and unleashed another Pheromone Gas as she charged angrily, nearly knocking Glacier over but stood strong while Serena used Moreheal on Glacier
Ratha flanked the Seltas Queen and together with Kora, they both struck it on the side while Avinia and Frostfang took the right, knocking her back as well. The Seltas Queen attempted to swing at them with her tail, but Terra jumped in and parried it, then he swung his Keyblade to knock her on her back as Annette swung down and unleashed critical damage on the soft belly.
"Alright, Saki, let's end this!" Weiss said, hopping on Saki as they flew into the air, then her Pink Rathian breathed fire at the Seltas Queen, then she flew down and corkscrewed before regaining altitude and flipped as her tail caught ablaze and unleashed a fiery buzzsaw, cutting through the ground and melting the snow around it before it struck through the Seltas Queen, cutting her in half as they both landed on the ground.

"Shoot! I was hoping to calm it down after that…" Weiss winced.
"Still, that was a hell of a move." Terra said as another Seltas approached, ready to fight… only to see its queen cut in half as it whimpered, a sweatdrop appearing as it tried to fly away… only to get sniped down by Mine.
"I ain't losin' out on those experience points." Mine chuckled, putting her weapon away.
"So the Guild's theory was true… the lights do make the monsters more violent." Avinia said as everyone had rejoined after knocking out the backup. "But our Monsties aren't affected by it… why?"
"I have two theories. One, there's a personal bond that prevents them from raging… or two, you have to actually touch the rays." Cardin said.
"The second one is sound in my opinion." Aqua said.
"Indeed." Rosalina nodded.
Avinia smiled. "Yeah, I can see that." She said. "Now then, let's head back to the village and tell the chief the good news."
With a nod, everyone left… however, Zinnia stopped as she turned her head at a corner. She could've sworn she saw blonde hair moving out of her sight. She narrowed her eyes, doing a "I'm watching you" gesture before walking away.
"Think she spotted you?" Adam asked.
"I don't think so."
Adam smirked. "Still, your tales of this angel is quite intriguing…" He said. "She might not be of use, but it's still worthwhile."
"What do we do?" Kyle asked.
"Simple. We call for some Hunters and capture the cult leader and Seryu. I have a feeling our Razewing friend is about to make his grand debut." Adam smirked.
Every time you speak, I swear Kyle loses more brain cells… not to mention Zinnia is on to him. Tsukino thought.
"Kyle, for your sake, I hope you know what you're doing…"

I just want to know what the hell Capcom was on when they made that... THING. Like, holy shit, the Khezu is the stuff of nightmares...

The Khezu followed me all the way to Paldea... whyyyyy... *sighs* Though, I did warm up to Wiglett... but it's just so bizarre that it resembles a Khezu of all things. *shudders*
