The Courier had been hiding out at Black Mountain after the infamous Caesars Legion put a tracker on him after the Second Battle Of Hoover Dam. He knew that the only place that the EMP waves from the bomb stayed was there. He knew there was Legion soldiers waiting on the outskirts of NCR camps. But, if he could make it there, the NCR embassy would be the safest. The Courier was considered an NCR ranger by after his actions at the Hoover Dam. they hated the Courier after he killed the leader of the Frumentarii, Vulpes Inculta. "I need to get out of here." said the Courier in a low voice. "I need Ranger Dobson so he can take this damned thing off of me." He ran as fast as he could, also as concealed as possible to get to Hidden Valley without being spotted by Caesars Legion. as he got to Hidden Valley, he looked in every bunker. until he found Ranger Dobson's dead body laying there with a note which read, 'We know you would be here, trying to get our tracker off, so don't even bother going to any NCR areas, especially the embassy. We're guarding all the entrances to Freeside and The Strip. Don't even try to beat us. We're a whole army, and you're just one person. -Caesars Legion. "Holy shit." The Courier made it out of the bunker, but under heavy Legion gunfire. He didn't know they would be waiting for him. "FUCK!" He returned fire with a Gun Runners Anti-materiel rifle with .50 bmg incendiary rounds. He took out 2 Legion Assassins, and finished off the rest of them with a 9mm submachine gun. Still on his way to The Strip, he came across a small tent. He inspected the outside quietly before he said, "Anyone in there?" A feral ghoul awakened and jumped out of the tent and grabbed me. I dashed left and shot the ghoul once with my lever action shotgun. The ghoul's dead body had 16 bottle caps on it. I took the caps and was again back on my way. Walking, I saw a door sticking out of the ground. So I opened it and was instantly flooded. It was some sort of underground testing chamber that had been underwater at some point. I finally decided to explore and try to swim through this dark and cold corridor. I could barely see and couldn't breathe for about 2 minutes until I hit my head on a platform that had a ladder going upwards connected to it. There was a wet lizard thing, and I asked it, "Hello?" It replied with, "Who goes there?" I said, "My name is Courier Six. Who the fuck are you?" It pulled out a gun and shot me twice before i pulled my .44 out and shot it. "Bitch." I climbed up the ladder and opened the hatch. The radiant beam of sunlight hit me like a baseball bat. I looked up and the first thing I saw was a sign that read 'Freeside'. I smiled at the fact i was semi-safe now and opened the gate to try to navigate the poor streets of this slum of a town. But first, i headed to the Atomic Wrangler to play blackjack. I opened the door and was automatically asked to turn in my weapons. I used my natural charm to ask the guard, "Do i really have to turn in my guns?" He pulled out a caravan shotgun and said, "You do." I kept my 9mm and said, "Here you go." He replied with, "Thanks. we'll keep them safe for you." I walked to the banker and handed her 40 caps in return for 40 Atomic Wrangler chips. There was slots, roulette, and blackjack. I stuck with the only thing i had a bit of skill in. I won about 5 games until I heard two men in hockey masks yell, "EVERYBODY DOWN ON THE FUCKING GROUND NOW!" I suspected they were Powder Gangers. They yelled at me and told me directly to open my bags and pockets and give them everything. I dropped everything until i shot one of the Powder Gangers and then I caught the other one robbing a cash register and I held the gun to him and said, "Fuck going on?", and then I shot him. I don't think he was getting up. I kept making my way to The Strip and I made it there, showed the Securitrons my passport and they let me in. I opened the gate feeling fulfilled and joyous until I heard, "Courier Six, we are here to avenge all the crimes you've committed against the Legion." I couldn't believe that the Legion followed me all the way here. After all they did have a tracker on me. "We must make you pay." said a seasoned Legion Veteran. Before I could respond, all I heard was a gunshot and I couldn't feel my face. I was shot in the head. I was back where I started. Well, ain't that a kick in the head?
