Chapter eleven:
Raph turns swearing that he hears something. He goes around to peek around the side of the house. He stops as someone comes running over only to skid to a stop in surprise in front of him. His eyes narrow and he lets out a growl. "You."
Usagi narrows his eyes back letting out his own growl.
Raph grabs his sais and Usagi pulls out a katana with a green handle.
"I will have my revenge. I will keep trying until I'm dead."
"I will kill you if I have to protect my mate and children." Raph promises just before Usagi charges. He uses one of his sais easily blocking the swung attack. He then uses the other managing to slash Usagis shoulder before the other leaps away. He charges this time keeping his head low as he manages to duck below a swing of Usagis katana. He slams into the rabbit throwing him harshly to the ground. He stabs a sai into Usagis hip before the other can shift to kick him off.
Usagi lets out a cry and wiggles in pain beneath Raph. He tries to swing a punch only to have his wrists pinned by the turtle. His wounds from Nile helping in making him weaker than he used to be. He's still healing after all. "I won't let you win you fucker!" He tries to wiggle to get his feet against Raph. He stops with a slight whimper as the sai that's still dug into his hip shifts. He can feel the pain shooting up his spin as the sai seems to be against something sensitive.
Raph forces Usagis hands to be held under one of his own. He then grips his other sai ready to end this to protect his family.
Usagi glares death threats at Raph clearly looking like he thinks he'll be let go of. "You in Splinters group don't have the guts to actually kill someone. I'll be back. You will never stop me."
"That's where you're wrong." Raph snorts at this aiming his sai at Usagis throat. "When it comes to a threat to our family we are ready to whatever we have to. Me especially."
Usagis eyes are drawn to the window and Raph only briefly glances.
Leo is at the window peeking out before he moves away.
Raph brings the sai down only for Usagi to manage to move his head so it hits the ground instead. He is about to pull it out when from the corner of his eye he spots Usagis foot on his good side move. He uses force to pull the sai from the ground only to be kicked by one of Usagis feet. He is slightly knocked back though mostly manages to stand his ground.
Usagi shifts his hands enough to slice his katana at Raph. He gets Raph to lean a little further away at this. He manages to kick the turtle off of him the rest of the way from there. He yanks the sai out of his hip with a gasp of pain. He drops it hurrying around the other side of the house with a limp.
Raph grabs his dropped sai racing after Usagi. He lets out a warning growl to let that damn rabbit know that he's in deep shit now. He gets around a corner just as Usagi smashes a window and hops in. He jumps through as well.
Usagi is just inside now facing Donnie and Mikey as well.
The two seem like they came hurrying over at hearing the window smash. They look ready to stop Usagi no matter what.
"None of you will stop me!" Usagi growls glaring at his two new opponents. "Leo should have been with me! I am better than all of you! Those kids should have been mine! He needs to learn to not betray me!"
"Leo can decide who to be his mate. You don't get to make that choice for him." Donnie angrily snarls as if the idea that someone would think that way makes him pissed.
Usagi throws a ninja star at Donnie for daring to suggest that he's wrong.
Donnie easily manages to knock it away with his staff.
Mikey charges as how dare Usgai try to harm his mate. He swings his nunchucks forcing Usagi to move back towards Raph.
Raph swings his sai cutting Usagis arm before the other manages to jump away. "He never wanted you! He made it clear to you! Yet you continued to ignore him!"
"He just didn't realize his feelings for me!" Usagi insists swinging his katana at Raph who blocks it with a sai. He has to move away as Donnie tries to hit him with his staff. He lands on his bad leg causing him to fall to sit on the floor with a yelp of pain. He momentarily glares at his bleeding hip, before he turns as the three turtles quickly surround him.
Raph lunges and when Usagi tries to move away he's forced to the ground by Donnies staff. He lands on top of Usagi. "I will do what I have to in order to protect my family!" He insists to Usagi managing to use one hand to pin him down.
"I'll make sure there's no one else going after Leo." Mikey hurries away clearly a bit uncomfortable about watching Usagi being killed.
Raph slams a sai down to Usagis throat managing to get it this time; as Donnie uses his staff slamming the end by Usagis head to distract him just long enough.
Usagi makes some gurgling sounds as he even tries to gasp for breath. He squirms under Raph hold in his final attempts to get away. His eyes slowly become lifeless while a pool of blood forms beneath him.
Once Raph is sure that Usagi is gone from this world he gets up removing his sai. He lets out a breath glad that this is finally over.
"What's going on?"
Donnie and Raph look to see Splinter standing in the doorway.
"He wanted to kill my mate and children." Raph explains to Splinter. "He's the one that wandered off of Niles territory discovering me with Leo. Then told Nile after he lost to me when trying to attack. He insisted he was going to kill Leo and our kids."
"He insisted on trying to force Leo to be his. Getting angry as if Leo cheated despite that Leo kept rejecting him." Donnie adds and Splinter does look understanding of it all.
"I will find someone to help clean this up. Are you two hurt?" Splinter is glad to see the two shake their heads. "Okay. Raph go find your mate. I know that you'll feel a little better by doing that. Donnie you can head away as well. I will take things from here."
The two nod and leave just like Splinter told them.
Splinter, now alone with Usagis body, approaches the rabbit. He looks down at the corpse with a stern slightly angry look. "No one forces anyone to be with them." He tells the dead body. "And if you're willing to kill to get what you want you, even kill children for it, don't deserve anyone. Let alone a proper burial." He then heads through the back door to get those he has in mind to help clean up.
Meanwhile...
Leo hurries over to Raph while Donnie heads to join Mikey in watching the turtle children. He looks over his mate before embracing him in relief that he's okay.
Raph smiles as he indeed does feel better. He hugs Leo back giving his mate a nuzzle that is quickly returned. He churrs to him so lovingly.
The two stay close for a little longer then pull away. They turn as their children come running over chirping to them. They crouch allowing the three to jump into a hug with their parents.
Zia and Xander go to their mother and Aidan jumps on his father.
They all laugh as the family embraces.
Mikey leans against Donnie as both of them have smiles watching the family. "I want one too. Maybe some day soon." His words get a blush from Donnie and he chuckles. "When you're ready too."
Donnie lets out a breath giving Mikey a nuzzle who churrs in response. "I think soon." He agrees getting happy chirps from Mikey that makes him chuckle. Hell at least want things to completely settle before he even thinks about that.
That night...
Everyone is gathered around Ashen's body.
Leo holding his children to assure them.
Splinter takes a step forward clearing his throat. "Ashen was a wonderful team member. He worked hard for us all. Protecting us and even giving his life to stop invaders. We thank him for his bravery throughout his years with us." He dips his head respectfully. He then backs off allowing others to step forward to say some words.
"He helped me through a lot. He was there for me when my mother died, when my mate had to head away on a mission for life saving medicine for one of the kids, and so much more. He was the truest of friends."
"We may have a bit of a fight before he died. However he was there through every break up with my boyfriend before we got together again."
"He was the best brother. He helped me raise my children. We'll all miss him deeply."
A few others speak of their time with Ashen... Then Leo takes a step forward with his children in his arms...
"He was very brave." Leo mentions as everyone listens like they did for everyone else's' words. "He gave his life to protect me and my children. I am thankful for it though I wish that no one had to lose their lives for it. I am grateful to everyone. You all have welcomed us and protected us. I am very happy to be here and I know my children will grow up very well here. Thank you Ashen. I will always remember you." He backs away and Raph puts an assuring arm around him.
Once everyone has said their goodbyes some pick up Ashens body. They take him away with Splinter in the lead in order to give Ashen a proper burial.
Leo smiles at his children then to his mate.
Raph leans his forehead against Leo's with their eyes closing. He can feel Leo's love for him radiating off of him.
Everyone that lingered are indeed happy to see Raph so in love with someone. They slowly disperse knowing that Leo and Raph will be great parents to the three children.
Leo and Raph take their children inside to get some rest after seeing Zia yawn.
Everyone in the group glad for the peace that has come to them.
The end.

Yeah I decided to end things here because I felt like the story I wanted to tell is over now.
They will live in wonderful peace with the three children being raised to be wonderful members of the group.
All written on my phone so hopefully I caught the autocorrects!
