Eri gritted her teeth at the shady man approaching them, and quickly put herself in front of Kitty in an attempt to protect Atticus' friend. "You're not TOUCHING her, you spawn of a Seviper!"
"A Seviper?" Spector chuckled lowly and crossed his thick arms over his broad chest. "Cute. Real cute. Let's drop the act though, shall we? Alola Champion. Selena Hoshi Fog."
Kitty paused at the name, her pupils shrinking at the name of one of her BEST friends.
Her reaction did not go unnoticed, because Spector narrowed his eyes slowly.
"…Where is she?"
There was a long moment of silence, Kitty's Pokemon slowly inching closer to their trainer. They didn't like the looks of this guy…or his POKEMON for that matter! His Absol looked SOULESS…Heartless even!
Harpuia gritted his teeth and slowly reached for Kitty's arm to pull her closer to the group.
"…Trix…."
Eri growled and clenched her fists, glancing back towards the trainer behind her. "Kitty. What is he talking about? WHO is he talking about?"
Kitty shuddered at the…DARKNESS in this guy's eyes…
"….I don't know." She replied slowly, feeling Harpuia's hand tugging on her arm to encourage her to take a few steps back. "….I don't know where Selena is."
"Hmph…looks like it's the hard way." Spector snapped his fingers and pointed towards Kitty.
Lumine lunged forward, baring his teeth with intentions to tear into the trainer.
Acting quickly, Harpuia SNATCHED Kitty, while Fefnir let out a roar and rushed for the Absol, powering up a punch. Lumine was faster though, as the Absol effortlessly dodged the Emboar's attack and turned, the horn on his head glowing a bright white before he SLASHED at Fefnir's back.
"EMBOOOOARR!"
Fefnir cried out in pain and fell to the ground, gritting his teeth.
"FEFNIR!" Kitty tried to rush for Fefnir, but Harpuia held her back, gritting his teeth in rage.
Eri took the chance to throw out two Pokeballs, letting out a Passimian and a Toxicroak. "LEAVE HER ALONE, YOU BULLY!"
She pointed towards the Absol as her Pokemon came out of their balls.
"Toxicroak! Poison Jab! Passimian! Brick Break!"
Without hesitation, the two Pokemon rushed for the Absol, letting out battle cries.
Spector took out two more Pokeballs and smirked. "Oh goody! More Fun! This would be a WHOLE lot easier if you'd just tell me where Selena is!"
He chucked out his two Pokeballs and let out his Tyrantrum and Salamence, pointing towards the trainers and their Pokemon.
"Get me the Alolan Champion! The rest are free game!"
"Free—" Eri's pupils shrunk. "WHAT are you—"
With Spector's declaration, the three Pokemon regrouped and charged for the two trainers and their Pokemon. This was NO ordinary Pokemon battle, it was an all-out ATTACK!
Eri quickly took out her Rotom Phone and pressed a button, screaming out. "ATTICUS! HELP! ATTICUS! KITTY AND I ARE BEIN—GAH!"
Eri found herself SLAMMED into by one of her own Pokemon who had been blown backwards, SLAMMING her into the ground.
Quick to act, Freezer snarled and rushed to the front, letting out an Icicle Crash attack. Adding to the defense, Leviathan quickly shot out an Ice Beam to attempt to subdue the Dragon-type Pokemon.
Kitty, on the other hand, was still struggling against Harpuia in an attempt to get to Fefnir. "Harpuia! Let GO! Fefnir's hurt! Fefnir's—"
"TRIX! TOXTRICITY!" Harpuia's grip on Kitty tightened and he pointed towards the pits and caves of the surrounding area, clearly communicating to her that he wanted her to RUN.
The girl quickly turned to face Harpuia, looking terrified. "No! I'm not leaving any of you to save MYSELF!"
"TOX!" Harpuia yelled towards his trainer…almost DEMANDING.
Kitty gritted her teeth and panted. "Harpuia—"
Before they could continue their 'argument', the shriek of Florigato's plea reached their ears. Both Harpuia and Kitty quickly looked over seeing Lilly struggling in the grip of Spector's Absol.
"LILLY!" Kitty shrieked in horror, causing Harpuia to quickly turn and rush towards Absol and Floragato, charging up a Discharge attack.
'LET HER GO!' Harpuia snarled, SLAMMING a wave of electric energy into the Absol, forcing him to release the Floragato. Lilly took the opportunity to quickly scramble upwards and rush towards Harpuia, who stood over her protectively.
'Harpuia! They're everywhere!' Lilly panicked, looking around and seeing Leviathan getting SLAMMED to the ground by the Salamence, while Fefnir and Freezer were fighting against the raging Tyrantrum…and struggling. BAD.
'They're not following ANY rules!'
Harpuia scowled and glanced back towards the Floragato. 'Lilly! Grab Kitty and both of you get BACK to the Tagtree thicket!'
'What?' Lilly looked up at the Toxtricity, looking spooked. 'I thought we were staying AWAY from Atticus—'
'DO IT!' Harpuia snarled, quickly rushing towards the recovering Absol in an attempt to keep him busy.
The Floragato took a few steps back in fear, watching Harpuia battling the Absol… in a way that…she had NEVER seen him fight before. He looked DANGEROUS…angry…
…fearful even…
Lilly shook her head quickly and turned, rushing towards her trainer and grabbing her hand. However, right as Lilly took Kitty's hand, the SHRIEK of a Pokemon could be heard. Turning quickly, Kitty's puipls shrunk in horror when she saw Tyrantrum biting down HARD on Fefnir's arm.
"Fefnir!"
'Fefnir!' Freezer rushed towards the Fire/Fighting type and charged up another Icicle Crash attack, CHUCKING it towards the Tyrantrum in fury. 'LET HIM GO YOU SLAGGER!'
Tyrantrum snarled and glanced towards Freezer as the shrew Pokemon's ice attacks hit him HARD. JERKING his head backwards, the Tyrantrum SLAMMED Fefnir to the ground and let go of him. Turning swiftly towards Freezer the Dragon/Rock type snarled.
Freezer wasn't easily deterred and gave off his own snarl, rushing toward the Tyrantrum, his claws glowing as he prepared another attack.
Fefnir gritted his teeth his pain as the Tyrantrum's focus was now on Freezer…who was coming their way. The Tyrantrum opened his mouth and braced himself with his teeth glowing red….
….red?...
Fefnir's pupil's shrunk and he quickly threw his hand out. "EMBOAR!"
'FREEZER! STOP!'

Atticus sat in his tent, his head resting in his hands as he bemoaned the STUPID decision he had made. How could he have SAID that to Kitty?! The look of utter heartbreak in her eyes was KILLING him inside!
His precious friend had done NOTHING to warrant his frustrations…and yet he had fallen into the trap of anticipation…allowing his anxieties to manifest into a rage that…hadn't been hers to bear! It had been for Spector!
And completely breaking the protocol of a ninja…he had allowed himself to lash out at the very one he was trying to protect!
…He should have told her…He should have let her know the TRUTH!
Now he would be forever separated from Kitty…because he hadn't wanted to be truthful to her…
"AT-….ELP!...TICUS!"
Atticus opened his eyes when his Rotom phone started making strange noises, looking upwards towards the small table on the other side of the room. It sounded like someone was trying to use the radio feature on the-
"ATTICUS! HELP!"
Atticus suddenly scrambled up when he heard the sound of Eri's voice in distress on the other side of the line. "LADY ERI?!"
The poison-type trainer rushed to the table and snatched his phone quickly, looking towards the screen in concern. "Lady Eri! What has befallen you?!...Lady Eri!"
He didn't receive a reply, which made the ninja grit his teeth and rush out of the tent to fetch his Pokemon. As he exited the tent, Atticus froze when a chilling SHRIEK could be heard from the path that led to the end of the thicket…
…the same direction Kitty had retreated…
"FREEZER!"
Atticus felt his heart stop as he heard the piercing scream of his beloved penpal, and horror gripped him. Spector…SPECTOR HAD DECEIVED HIM! He had pushed Kitty away…RIGHT INTO SPECTOR'S HANDS!
"N—NO! Lady Eri! LADY KITTY!"
The poison-type trainer put his fingers to his lips and let off a high-pitched whistle.
Almost immediately, several Pokemon came to his side, as well as XLR8, who looked like he was ready to drive right into battle. Atticus quickly looked towards his team, his eyes reflecting pure fear.
"My friends! I have been a fool! Our enemy has taken advantage of my feelings for Lady Kitty, and now she and Lady Eri are in danger! Join together with me!"
He got several cries of agreement from his Pokemon, before Atticus quickly jumped onto XLR8's back and returned his Pokemon to their balls.
"Make haste! We must ensnare our enemy with the poison of our wrath!"
"AGIAS!" XLR8 snarled and proceeded to rush down the path of the thicket.

"FREEZER!"
Kitty's scream was echoing against the trees as she beheld Freezer in the jaws of Spector's Tyrantrum, the large teeth sinking themselves into Freezer's soft underbelly, bright crimson fluid escaping the Sandslash's body.
Freezer panted heavily as horrible PAIN shot throughout his body…he couldn't move…he could barely THINK.
Kitty broke away from Lilly, the Floragato being far too shocked and terrified at the sight of Freezer in the jaws of the large Dinosaur-like Pokemon. Rushing towards the Tyrantrum, Kitty gritted her teeth, reaching out towards Spector.
"PLEASE! LET HIM GO! LEAVE HIM ALONE! PLEASE!"
Spector smirked and snapped his fingers, causing his Absol and his Salamence to cease their attack. The Tyrantrum on the other hand continued to keep the Sandslash in his mouth, the scent of the wounded Pokemon's blood causing him to slowly continue clamping down on Freezer.
Freezer cried out in agony and panted heavier, glancing towards the Tyrantrum…before noticing the position of his spikes….the Tyrantrum's bottom teeth were piercing his stomach….
…which meant his outer spikes were in the perfect position towards the head!
"PLEASE! I'M BEGGING YOU!" Kitty felt hot tears running down her cheeks at the sight of Freezer in such a state. "LET HIM GO! I'LL GIVE YOU ANYTHING!"
"Anything?" Spector smirked. "…then you know what I want, Alolan Champion."
Kitty trembled and took a step back, her heart racing…what could she SAY?! She didn't KNOW where Selena was! But he wouldn't take that for an answer!
What could she possibly DO!? All she knew was where Selena WASN'T!
She glanced behind herself desperately. Eri and her Pokemon were laying on the ground unconsoius…Fefnir was trying so HARD to get up…Leviathan was being pinned by the Salamence, while Harpuia was holding the Absol in a strangle hold, watching Kitty fearfully.
Spector's eyes narrowed slowly and he smirked at the desperation this trainer was expressing.
"….where is Selena?"
"….I-….I don't—"
"Ah ah…If I don't get an answer…" He motioned towards the Tyrantrum. "My big guy will get a nice 'frozen dinner'…it's your call."
"GALAR!...She's in Galar!" Kitty gritted her teeth and took a shaky step up. "…Sh-….She has yet to challenge Leon…"
Spector studied Kitty's demeanor…and he smirked. "Now see…wasn't that SO much easier than all of this?" He chuckled and looked up towards his Tyrantrum. "Go ahead and put the shrew out of his misery."
"Wha—NO! I GAVE YOU WHAT YOU WANTED!" Kitty shrieked. "LET FREEZER GO!"
As Kitty shrieked, Freezer narrowed his eyes and summoned all his strength, causing his steel-like spikes to expand and SLAM into the roof of the Tyrantrum's mouth. As SOON as he felt his spikes piercing the T-Rex Pokemon's mouth, Freezer cried out loudly, his ice power attacking the dragon/rock from the inside.
The Tyrantrum let out a roar of agony as Freezer's attack could be felt attacking his very HEAD. Involuntarily, the Tyrantrum crunched down as it stumbled, feeling his head filling with ice.
Freezer shuddered as the Tyrantrum clamped down on him harder, sealing both of their fates…
"FREEZER!"
The Alolan Sandslash looked up weakly, seeing Kitty rushing towards them…and he felt the Tyrantrum beginning to fall, succumbing to Freezer's attack. Freezer reached out towards Kitty in desperation…she needed to move!
"K-…..krr…."
Kitty continued to rush for the falling Tyrantrum, her full focus on Freezer…that was…before she suddenly stopped upon realizing…the Tyrantrum was about to FALL on her…
…the girl froze and her pupils shrunk as she watched the dying Tyrantrum collapsing towards her…
