Part 8 finale: A waited celebration
HOK...
It had been a few days since the whole event and needless to say the whole NFL went in panic mode for a hot minute. It was thanks to the Guardians and RZ, as well as those present, that the situation calmed down fast, and just in time with Thanksgiving being tomorrow. Ish sighed as he looked around, his arms looking better with all the rest he was on.
Rampage: Hey Ish!
Ish turned to see Rampage running up to him.
Ish: Hey Rampage.
Rampage: Glad to see you here, *see the burns* your burns are going away fast.
Ish: *Chuckles* Yeah my mom's been treating them, still got till next Sunday for me to be back in action.
Ash: HEY ISH! RAMPAGE!
The rest of the Guardians ran over seeing Ish.
Marty: Hey Ish, how you doing?
Ish: Pretty good, thanks again you guys for taking the assignments to and from home.
Tua: No problem, so-gonna see Bolt?
Ish nodded with a smile.
Rampage: *Smirks* Well, it is the only reason your here since your still benched too.
Ish: *smirks* Hush...
The others chuckled at that. When Liberty said he was benched as well, ISH WAS BENCHED from his duties. It at least gave RZ time to see how his NFLR was doing with the new power upgrade.
Ish: But yeah, I'm here to see Bolt.
Ricky: Cool. We'll check in after training, you go on and see Bolt.
Ish smiled as he walked off, Rampage leading the others to the training room.

Bolt sat on the couch, veins slowly fading with the passing days and strength returning. He was watching TV, Spot curled up next to him sleeping until his ear twitched as he sat up.
Bolt: *to Spot* Hear someone?
Spot nodded as smiled as his tail went back and forth seeing Ish walk in, and Bolt soon smiles.
Bolt: ISH!
Ish: Hey Bolt! Take a look at you, your veins are losing the glow.
Bolt smile grew a bit as Spot nuzzled him, Ish sitting next to him.
Spot: Yep. Freefall has been keeping that in check.
Bolt: *chuckles a bit* Well you guys been keeping me in check and updating on my team.
Ish: After what you did, I can see that.
Bolt: Yeah. At least I'm not in pain anymore, nor drained.*Sees the burns* Glad to see your burns are healing too. Should be back in action once your parents and Lib take you off being benched.
Ish: Yep...hey, by the way; you guys heard from Peg-Leg and Sonar? They must of been wondering what was going on that day.
Both shoke their heads.
Spot: We haven't, we heard from Malcolm their were okay from the whole ordeal and was told what happened but after that-Blank.
Spot's NFLcomm beeped, all turning to the message.
Bolt: *confused* Huh, everyone is needed in the main room?
Ish: *concern* Wonder what's going on?

RZ: It appears Malcolm says he's sending us a early, Thanksgiving gift?
Everyone both Guardian and Rusherz were intrigued on what the Owner of the Tampa Bay Bucs was sending them.
Troy: A gift, for Thanksgiving? I mean if it's someone's Birthday or wedding anniversary I can see but-Spot's Birthday isn't today, not until the thirtieth this month.
RZ: Agree. What is going on-
?: You all mind tell me how things escalated so much with me being gone for-Sonar how long was it?
Everyone froze-slowly turning to see Sonar standing next to-
Sonar: *warm smile* A month and a Half, Peg-Leg.
Peg-Leg chuckled as he nodded.
Peg-Leg: Thank ye, and in that time I hear Ish power's returned *smirks* but he and a certain Charger are benched for scarin the entire NFL.
Everyone was silence seeing the Buccaneer Rusher, healthy and out of the hospital. He gave them a warm smile with some pricked tears.
Peg-Leg: Aye, I missed you all-
Guardian: *tackled him in a hug* PEG-LEG!
Peg-Leg was knocked to the ground in the hug, laughing as the others ran over in tears. Cheers of joy rang from the Rusherz seeing the Buccaneer had returned.
Peg-Leg: *Smiling* W-WHOA Kids! Surprised me there, I take it you-
Ash: We heard everything we had no idea you were hospitalized, everyone was worried with all that's going on!
Troy: Dude you scared us to bits!
Peg-Leg: Hehe sorry sorry, not me intention I swear.
Liberty: Hey hey let us see him too! *The Guardians got up smiling; hugs Peg-Leg* Peg-Leg! How-when-!
Sonar: *tears* He was released today. He got the okay Monday and after a few test got released today.
Peg-Leg: *hug breaks as he looked at the others* I wanted to surprise you all and Malcolm, aye bless his soul, helped me with the surprise. I was able to get back just in time for tomorrow. See it worked well.
Beast: *nuzzled him* Best surprise we gotten in weeks!
Ish smiled as he turned on his phone while the other Rusherz came to Peg-Leg.
Sandra (other line): *worry* Ish, everything okay?
Ish: *tears;joy* It's better than okay mom-Peg-Leg got released from the hospital!

Peg-Leg: -So imagine me surprise when Malcolm and the boys told me the reason for all the crazy energy that made me and Soni shaking, was from a very ticked off Charger who thought taking out Sudden Death full on energy would help the current situation. *smirks* Boy oh boy, you two had the entire NFL on panic mode and we weren't even being attacked.
Sandra and Lt. Matt had join in the joyous occasion, Peg-Leg having finished how he was able to catch up with all that happened.
RZ: *Smiles* I am very happy to see you have recovered fully Peg-Leg, everyone was very worried about you.
Toro: And-we should of told the kids and the adults about this sooner. But, with all that happened back in October and recent events, we didn't want to give them more worried.
Peg-Leg: *small smile* Aye, I can understand ye concerns with that. It is also a very hard pill to shallow hearing one of us in the hospital with a hard aliment. We heard how you reacted back in preseason with the Rams Ricky, so-if you saw me in the state I was in, I fear you would be in more worry than ever.
Tua: We understand your reason, but we're just glad you okay now.
Ish: Yeah, it is a nice surprise after all that happened recently. Glad to have you back Peg-Leg.
Peg-Leg smiled as Pillage brought him into a one arm hug.
Pillage: With that in mind we're gonna go all out for tomorrow! This calls for a huge celebration!
Peg-Leg laughed with the other Rusherz as the Guardians, RZ, and Ish's parents watched on.
Ish: *Smiles* oh boy they are gonna party hard in New York tomorrow morning.
Marty: *double take* Hold it what?
Ish chuckled seeing his friends reaction.
Ish: Perks of being the first...and they invited us to join them with what happened with the guy. Not the first time they invited a family to Thanksgiving, won't be the last, but let me tell you holidays with them are pretty interesting.
Ash couldn't help but laugh with the others. They watched as the Rusherz celebrated Peg-Leg's return and health restored, warm smiles on their faces.
Sandra: *smiles* Look at them, they look so happy.
RZ: Indeed, this was much needed for them after all the stress the recent weeks.
Ash: I guess at the end of the day their just like any other family, they have each-other's backs no matter what.
Lt. Matt: It sounds like it's in more ways in one.
The Guardians nodded.
Troy: Let's ask them later though, think right now their more focused on this.
Ish nodded as he watched on-and couldn't help but look at Bolt, who was being teased playful by the Buccaneer Rusher.

Ish never thought that Rusherz alone would change his life in ways he did not expected just by meeting him that fateful game. He had no idea Bolt was going though so much sorrow that time, and he himself unknowingly at the time helped heal his heart. Dispite everything, Bolt kept going and would put his all into protecting those he loved-EVEN if it meant nearly destroying half of the California area.
Ish looked at his oldest friend-he looked much calmer now, having all those fears and worries for the future and from recent events calmed and reassured by him and the others. Rampage smirked as he ruffled the Chargers head playfully. Rampage-Ish knew Bolt was in good hands with Rampage when they get the new stadium, once the word was given that is. And he also knew that those two were going to be very close friends after this smiled seeing the two.
Ish: Well-looks like New York won't be the only city that has two teams in the same stadium.
Ricky: *nods* Madame Ram would be very happy that Rampage's has a friend there in the stadium too.
Ish: *smile grows* Oh yeah, I have a feeling those two will be tested-but knowing them, their gonna pass that test when it comes.
All of them smiled.
Next day; Thanksgiving...
Ish and his parents smiled as they watched the final game.
Ish: This is one close game.
Lt. Matt: I know. First game was-one sided.
Ish: YEAH. Still, i think the Packers still love the cards he sent them. Tua said he gotten them done during preseason so, least they got some smiles. and the Raider/Cowboys game was back and forth.
Both his parents nodded as they watched on the concluding game.
Sandra: AND-Ravens win.
Ish: *fist pumps the air* SWEET! That gave me such a boost in my fantasy rooster!
Lt. Matt: Hehe, mine too. Was a great boost after the last game.
Ish: *Smiles* Hope the others are doing well. They should be starting their own dinner now.
Meanwhile, HOK...
All thirty two Rusherz were sitting and eating their own Thanksgiving meal, Blow-Torch and Scavenger having returned once their team's game finished.
Blow-Torch: -And that's TWO turkey day wins in you belt Scavs, gotta say you and I are battling for the second place spot for our division at this point.
Scavenger: Y-Yeah. Gotta say it was a very good game; *to Pack and Beast* Sorry you two's game was one-sided.
Pack: *shallows* Hey, least it wasn't a blow out. No one wins those games not even the winning team, it's just boring. *Smiles* Besides the team loves the cards you sent out.
Beast: Well it's tradition, gotta give my thanks to our competitors. *To Peg-Leg* How are you doing.
Peg-Leg was basically decimating his plate, grinning.
Peg-Leg: I'm eating actually food, Couldn't eat any real food cause of the mask on me face. Glad first feast I'm having since my release is yours.
Beast gave a grateful smile, before he noticed Bolt being silent.
Beast: *concern* You doing okay Bolt?
Bolt blinked, realizing he dozed of there.
Bolt: Oh, yeah sorry. Mind just, wandered off...*sad* listen guys, I-I'm sorry for what happened a few days back. I-I know it doesn't change what happened, or the panic I caused from my actions, but-I feel really bad at what I caused, and scaring you all like that-
Bolt stopped when he felt someone hug him from behind. He turned his head to see Rampage hugging him.
Rampage: We know-we know. I understand your reasons for this as well, but you need to remember your not alone. And your certainly won't lose us permanently.
The others nodded in agreement as Liberty got up and went over, placing a hand on Bolt's shoulder.
Liberty: He's right. Yes you gave us all a heart attack, but you were just trying to protect the people you care about. Now I don't want you to repeat what you just done, but we understand your reasons. We're just-really happy your alive.
Bolt gave a warm smile, hugging Rampage's arms as tears pricked his eyes.
Bolt: -raspy sigh- Same here. I-I don't know how Ish did it but...at this point, I'm just glad I'm still here with you all.
The others had come over hugging the Charger Rusher at this point.
Peg-Leg: Aye-We all are too. I-*Some tears fall* I'm glad I came back to see you ALL home.
Bolt nodded as he leaned into the hug. He had to thank Ish again for saving him, for stopping him from making a very fatal mistake.
...
All around everyone, Guardian and Rusherz included, celebrated the wondrous evening. Dispite the panic attack news they all heard mere days ago, all was well in the Rush Zone even with the old threats in the picture. Dispite this, they would always be together.
...The Guardian realized at that moment that there was two divisions left to look into, and they couldn't help but muse on the Rusherz in those division's stories.
