Hermione met up with Mary at the library after school, where they finished their Charms homework and quietly talked about Transfiguration, which they both were interested in. They stood up and were about to leave when Hermione saw someone quickly hide behind a bookshelf.
"I'll catch up with you later, Mary." Hermione said.
"Everything okay?" asked the blue eyed girl worriedly.
"Yes, everythings fine, I just need to talk to Madam Prince about something."
"Okay, I'll see you at dinner." Mary said, before she left.
Hermione quietly walked from the other side of the shelf where she saw the crouched figure peeking around the corner.
"You know it's terribly rude to spy on people." she said from behind the boy.
He quickly jumped and turned around with a face of surprise that he quickly turned into a neutral expression.
"I wasn't spying," he said defensively.
Hermione looked at her potions partner with a raised eyebrow.
"Well if I were to say that you were watching us, then that would seem creepier," she furrowed her eyebrow before questioning him, "did Black put you up to this?"
"As if I would do anything for HIM!" he spat.
"Then why were you "not" spying on me and Mary."
"I wasn't spying on you and McDonald… well I guess I was watching you… not watching you in a weird way… I mean I just…" Snape stuttered.
"I guess I just wanted to learn more about you." he finally said.
He looked at her confused expression.
"Well no one knows much about you and you seem… tolerable for a Ravenclaw." he defended.
"If you wanted to learn more about me, you should've just come and had a conversation with me like a normal person."
He looked down embarrassed before muttering an apology and turning to leave.
Hermione grabbed his arm, when he looked up confused.
"I never said we can't have one now," she said, smirking.
"Let's take a walk outside."
He nodded and they both left the library.
oooooooooooo
They walked silently past the lake before Hermione finally spoke up.
"I absolutely hate chocolate frogs."
"What?!" Severus asked, with a bewildered expression.
"You wanted to learn more about me,"
"I didn't mean like that."
"Then in what way did you mean?"
"I guess… I don't know.".
"Well why don't we start by reintroducing ourselves. I am Hermione Grace Dagworth-Granger, and I am 11 years old. Now you begin."
He sighed before speaking, "I am Severus Snape and I am 11 years old."
Hermione looked at him unimpressed, "You suck at this you know."
"I'm sorry that I don't have a talent for introductions." he exclaimed sarcastically.
"Stop being such a downer," she said, shoving him slightly, "now typically you would say another thing about yourself, since I started first, you have to continue the conversation."
He looked up towards the sky and closed his eyes, before he began," I'm an only child."
"See! That wasn't so bad now, was it?" Hermione exclaimed.
Severus glared at her.
"I have an older brother, he's at Hogwarts too." she continued
"What year and house?" he questioned.
"Oh, he's a 5th year and in.." Hermione started before she was interrupted.
"Well if it isn't Snivellus!" came an obnoxious voice, that Hermione was all too familiar with.
Hermione and Severus glared at the group of four.
Sirius looked at Hermione in surprise, having just noticed her.
"You should go to the hospital wing, Hermione. Who knows how much grease you have breathed in being around Snivellous." he said, before laughing at his own joke along with the 3 other boys.
"First of all, we are not on a first name basis, Black! That is only for friends, which we are not" Hermione said angrily, "and second, I would be more worried about carrying that huge head of yours."
Severus snickered at that, when Sirius turned to him.
"Need a girl to stand up for you now, Snivellus." he sneered.
"Need help thinking of better insults," he countered, "You would think that your big head would be filled with a brain."
"You… you… you're just a.. a… a slimy grea.." he stuttered angrily, before being interrupted by Hermione.
"C'mon Severus, I have better things to do than listen to a thick-headed dingbat attempt to put words together."
Severus smirked at the group, whose faces were in shock, before turning around.
"Why is HE on a first name basis with YOU," Sirius said, scowling, "I'm much better company."
Hermione turned back around before speaking.
"HE is my friend and much more interesting and intelligent company than whatever YOU call yourself."
Hermione and Severus walked away and continued chattering, while Sirius glared at the back of them and was muttering under his breath.
"James," he finally said.
"Yea,"
"Forget the original plan, I've got a better idea for tomorrow."
James grinned and led Sirius back to the dorms, quickly followed by Remus and Peter.

Hermione POV:
The next morning Hermione woke up later than she had wanted to. She quickly got dressed and went down the stairs to go to the Great Hall for breakfast. She grabbed some toast and jam when she made eye contact with her brother and gestured for her to meet outside. Hermione sighed and put her toast down, she grabbed her bag and stood outside the doorway, waiting for her brother. Finally her brother came and pulled her somewhere more private.
"Yes?" Hermione asked.
"You have got to stop asking why I want to speak to you, I'm your brother for crying out loud, I am allowed to check up on you." he said, exasperatedly.
Hermione pulled out a tissue and gave it to a confused Alexander.
"For your tears," she said dryly, "if you're going to cry out loud then I might as well give you a tissue before rather than later."
He rolled his eyes, before speaking again.
"How was your first day Mia?"
"It was good, other than the classes with the Gryffindors."
He narrowed his eyes.
"What happened with the Gryffindors?"
"Nothing much, except having to deal with Black."
"Black? Oh, you mean Sirius Black." he said knowingly.
"Yes, the old banshee's son. Honestly not surprising, seeing that they are both bloody annoying."
"HERMIONE! Language!" Alexander chastised.
"Sorry," she grumbled.
"Any friends I need to scare away?" he said, wiggling his eyebrows.
"I met a girl in Hufflepuff, Mary McDonald." she paused before continuing.
"Also I met a boy in Slytherin, halfblood." she said looking straight in his eyes.
He looked knowingly, "Name?"
"Severus Snape."
"Don't worry Hermione, I'll keep an eye on him."
"Thanks Alex," she said, before hugging him.
"Well that's what older brothers are for. To protect your new friends," he got a strange look in his eyes.
"Just friends, right?" he asked carefully.
Hermione pulled away before smacking him.
"EW! Alex! Yes, of course, just friends. Gosh, I'm only 11."
"Hey! You never know."
He pulled out his pocket watch.
"We better get to class, Mia. I'll see you later."
He kissed her on the head, before leaving.
"See you later, I guess." she said.

Sirius POV:
Sirius grinned as he watched Hermione walk in the classroom and sit at the front of the class. He could hardly sleep due to the excitement of the next days plan and had fell asleep in his first two classes, which had gotten him more homework. McGonagal began speaking and instructed them to transfigure a match into a needle. Sirius tried a few attempts, before winking at Peter who sat at the other side of the classroom. A loud bang came from him and the whole class, including Hermione, turned to him and watched as McGonagall check for any damage. James levitated Hermione's inkpot to fall on the floor and as Hermione went to go clean up the spilled ink, Sirius sprayed her cloak with a pink liquid. Soon the class went back into transfiguring the matches, while Sirius kept smirking at Hermione's back. Class ended and everyone went to the Great Hall for lunch, while James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter walked slowly behind everyone else.
"Nice job everyone," Sirius said, high fiving everyone.
"Now me and James will be back with the final piece of our payback," he said, before running off with James.
"I feel as if we're going to regret this," said Remus.
"Well, there's no going back now." Peter replied

Hermione POV:
Hermione was sitting at the Ravenclaw table eating her lunch, when all of a sudden a swarm of pixies started pulling at her hair, throwing mash at her, and dumping pumpkin juice on her. Alexander, along with Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick, rushed over to her to get rid of the pixies. Flitwick used a freezing charm on the pixies, while McGonagal produced a cage and leviated them in. Hermione sat drenched in pumpkin juice, mash, and her hair in wet, dirty, tangles. Her brother kept asking if she was alright, but she just sat there frozen, before she ran out of the Great Hall, while he followed her out. The students ate the rest of meal in silence, except for a few whisperings here and there. No one noticed the four boys who snuck out the hall and followed the Dagworth-Grangers.

James POV:
James quietly followed Hermione and the boy, along with Sirius, Remus, and Peter. He then saw the boy grab the girl's arm and pull her into the corner.
"What happened Hermione?" the boy asked.
"What do you think happened, because I don't bloody know why bloody pixies have decided to throw my lunch at me, but not on anyone else." she exclaimed angrily.
"Why do you always curse whenever I have a conversation with you."
She just scowled at him.
"I don't know why the pixies targeted you, they aren't specifically attracted to anything except.." he trailed off.
"Except what?" she demanded.
"Except leviathan iris's." he thought for a moment, before speaking, "Did you have any perfume on?"
"Yes, but not any leviosa iris perfume.
"Leviathan." the boy corrected.
Hermione hit him.
"Ouch! No need to be so harsh." he said rubbing his arm.
"Someone must have sprayed something on me, and if it's who I think it is, then their in for a rude awakening." Hermione muttered, her hand balling into fist.
James and Sirius looked at each other nervously.
"I'm going to go take a shower." she sniffed the air and wrinkled her nose, "or two.
As soon as Hermione stalked off, the boy turned towards the direction of where the boys were hidden and began to walk closer to them. James gulped and Sirius covered his face with his hands. He was about to reach them, when a voice called out towards him.
"Alexander!" the voice said.
He turned around and a saw a blonde girl walk up to him.
"Oh, hello Narcissa,"
She blushed slightly, before speaking, "Is your sister all right? I didn't really see what happened, but I heard she was attacked by pixies."
"She's fine, just annoyed, angry, and dirty." he said laughing.
Narcissa blushed again, but Alexander was oblivious to it.
"I'd better get going," he said, "But I'll see you in Potions."
Alexander turned back towards the Great Hall, while Narcissa just stood there staring at his back adoringly, before rushing away quietly giggling.
James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter all stood in their hiding place in shock. James because he had just found out that Hermione had an older brother and a Slytherin at that, Sirius because he just witnessed his proper and perfect cousin blushing and giggling over a boy, Remus because the brother and sister duo had figured out their prank immediately, and Peter because he was still surprised that the prank worked. Remus turned to James and Sirius and started aggressively beating them with his book.
"OW! OW! OW! REMUS! OW! STOP HITTING ME WITH THE BLOODY BOOK! OW!" James cried while Sirius attempted to wrestle the book out of his hands. Finally Sirius pulled the book away from a red faced Remus.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?! James exclaimed.
"THAT'S FOR BEING AN IDIOT!" Remus chastised.
"WELL NO NEED TO BEAT ME WITH THE BOOK, I WASN'T THE ONLY IDIOT!
James and Remus starting squabbling, while Sirius sat on the floor deep in thought and Peter laughing openly at the two arguing boys.
"What's on your mind Sirius?" James said, finally turning towards him.
Sirius stood up and looked at the three boys.
"I think we've made a mistake" he said.
James and Peter looked worried, while Remus put his head in his hands and kept mumbling about how he knew they would regret it.
I know this chapter is short, so sorry. I don't know how I feel about this chapter so please review.
