A Great Birthday Times 1010

Lea was sound asleep in her bed when she felt someone gently shake her shoulder. "Lea," a familiar voice cooed to her. "Wake up, sweet cousin."

"Hmm?" She hummed as she sleepily opened her eyes, turning to find Rin smiling at her. Sitting up, she rubbed her eyes, feeling her cousin playfully ruffle her hair.

"Come on, cous. Open those pretty eyes," Rin encouraged her.

Feeling more awake now, she looked at him. "Rin? What time is it?" She asked before looking at the clock to see it was just after seven o'clock in the morning.

"It's time for breakfast," he said. "Dad sent me to wake you up."

She yawned and got up. "Alright," she said. "Give me fifteen minutes and I'll be ready."

"I'll wait outside your room," Rin said, heading out and Lea got dressed and was ready within the fifteen minutes, meeting up with her cousin, who offered her his arm as if she was a princess and he was her escort. "Shall we, cous?"

"Okay, what's going on?" She asked, taking his arm as they walked down the hallway.

He grinned. "Just wanted to make my cousin feel special," he admitted.

Lea was now more curious. "Why do I feel you're not telling me everything?" She asked, making sure her tone didn't sound like she was accusing him.

Rin laughed before scooping her up and spinning her around, making her squeak in surprise before she laughed as he set her down and then twirled her, leaning her into a dancing dip, holding her securely so that she didn't fall. "Are you accusing me of not being truthful, Lea?" He asked playfully.

She giggled at his antics. "No, but I feel you're not telling me something," she said, her tone equally playful.

She squealed as fingers wiggled into her ribs and she tried to squirm, but Rin held her securely, chuckling as he tickled her. "Cootchie, cootchie, coo, Lea!" He cooed into her ear.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! RIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIN!" Lea laughed out, trying to get away without falling as she was still off balance a bit. "I'M GOHOHOHOHOING TO FAHAHAHAHAHAHALL!"

The white-haired android's arm that was around her waist tightened more securely before he stopped tickling her and lifted her up into a princess carry. "I'd never let that happen to my sweet cousin," he said as he carried her to the kitchen door, setting her down before he gently covered her eyes.

"Rin?" She asked.

"I got you," he said reassuringly as she heard the door open. "Okay, walk forward a bit."

Lea took a couple steps forward and felt two hands take her right hand and two hands take her left hand. "We've got you, Lea," came Haym's voice.

"Just a few more steps," Eloni's voice reached her ears.

She did as they told her, coming to a stop when she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Alright, take a seat, cous," came Zimelu's voice.

She let them guide her into the chair and was curious as to what was going on. "Okay, ready, Lea?" Asked Purlhew.

"Ready," she said. "Though...for what?"

"You'll see," came Neon J's voice. "Alright, boys."

1010 moved away from Lea and she opened her eyes, gasping in shock at not only seeing a breakfast buffet, but also a large cake on the table with the words 'Happy Birthday, Lea!' on it and the room was decorated for a party.

"Happy Birthday, my dear," Neon J said as the confetti cannons went off and streamers and balloons fell down. The boys made sure none of the items landed on their cousin, though Haym gently gathered Lea's blonde curly hair into a ponytail and Eloni gently tied a ribbon that was all the colors of 1010 in Lea's hair, making it into a perfect bow that showcased all their colors.

"Perfect," Rin said as Zimelu held up a mirror for Lea to see the hair piece.

Her jaw dropped as she saw it was all their colors. "Dad helped us make this for you," Purlhew said.

Tears came to her eyes. "I love it," she said softly.

Neon J came up to her and hugged her. "We wanted to make your day special," he said. "Especially with you visiting us while you're interning."

Lea hugged them all. "You guys are seriously awesome," she said.

"Come on, let's eat so we can party!" Zimelu said.

The blonde teen giggled as they all dove into the delicious breakfast, eating the wonderful food and as they finished, the lights were dimmed and the candles on the cake lit up, making the moment seem magical. Lea's jaw dropped as she witnessed this before hearing music start up and she turned to see her cousins were standing beside her with spotlights on them as they began to softly croon.

"A bright and gorgeous smile,

A beautiful, gorgeous girl,

She's the star of the day,

And the star of 1010's world.

She's so beautiful,

She's so bright,

Nothing can stop her,

She is the brightest light."

Lea blushed as they sang to her before feeling a hand on her shoulder and turning to see it was Neon J. He hummed along with the boys' singing before they paused and he began to sing.

"Thought my world was bright before,

But now the light shines even better,

And that's because of that fateful day,

The day that we met her.

A special girl that is very dear,

Held in a special place in our hearts,

She's their cousin and my niece,

Always has been from the start."

Lea felt touched that Neon J and his sons were singing a song that she could tell they wrote with her in mind. The Captain and his sons then came together, their voices melding perfectly.

"That's you, birthday girl, yes,

Someone we love as family for all time,

Happy Birthday, our dear, sweet Lea,

From us to you, that's our rhyme."

As the music ended, Lea clapped, her face still blushing a bit. "Wow, I didn't expect that," she said.

"We wanted to make it special for you," Eloni said.

"After all, you're our wonderful cousin," Haym said.

"You've shown us how wonderful it is to have a cousin," Rin said.

"Especially one who crashed our rehearsal session," Zimelu said teasingly.

"And went from a fan to family," Purlhew said.

Neon J looked at Lea. "Having you as family is the best thing that every happened to us, Lea," he said, a smile in his voice. "Never forget just how special you are."

She hugged them all. "Having you guys as my family has been one of the best things ever for me too," she admitted.

The rest of the day was wonderful as they ate cake, Lea opened her gift from Neon J, which was the newest 1010 CD that had not been released to the public yet and best of all, the boys had all signed it, as had the cyborg. They even posed for a picture and Lea not only felt special, but also like one of the luckiest girls in the world to have the famous band and their creator as part of her family.
