"That doesn't make any sense! How are they fighting in space?!" A man with white lab coat are screaming to his computer screen
"Come on Tatsuya, it's just an anime" His college said trying to calm his friend down
"No! Do not pull that bullshit on me. They are the one saying that Saiyans can not breath in space, but now look! They are fighting for a full hour in there! Are you telling me that he is holding his breath the whole time?" The now named Tatsuya snap back at his friend and they laugh at him
"Come on, don't take this too seriously, the whole point of anime is to have fun" his friend said again
"I can't have fun when i don't know what's going on, and they are the one making these rule, not me. I am just trying to enforce it" He adjust his glasses while leaning back on his chair
But he leaned back too much and now he is falling
He close his eyes waiting for the impact of his head against the floor
Thud* and there it is
"Ow, ahhhh i really should stop doing that" he rubbed his head while sitting on the ground
He opened up his eyes but now suddenly it's bright
Too bright*
"What?" He squinted his eyes while he adjust with the brightness of the room
"Oy who is playing with the light again?" he muttered while keep rubbing his eyes.
A few seconds of squinting has passed
"Godamn it who is playing with the light?" After a few seconds of squinting and rubbing his eyes, he can noe finally see
He can see that he is not in his office anymore
"What?" He look around and see that he is in the middle of a city
A very old city
No, not old in a sense that it's crumbling to dust but old in a sense that the design of the house is old
"It looks like a medieval city" he look around, and the more he looks around the more interesting it gets
First the building, next the clothes of the people around him, and then the people itself
"Is that... A demi-human" he saw a man with lizard's head and tail and he can't help but approach the guy
He walk towards the lizard man without caring abiut anything else
"Excuse me, are you a lizard-man?" He asked suddenly and the lizard man look at him with slight annoyance
"Yeah? What you never seen one before?" The lizard man said with laced tone
"Precisely, i have never seen one of your kind before, mind if i ask a few question?" he said with star in his eyes and now the lizard man is confused because even he can see the obvious curiousity on the man's eyes
"Well, as long as it's not personal" he said
"Thank you, first question. Are you venomous? Forgive me if it sounds rude but a large variety of Lizards have venomous glands and i wonder if you have it too" he asked while keep intruding the lizards man private space
"Oy oy back up! Yes! I do have poison glands, Happy?" He said while pushing the man
"Facinating" but instead of getting angry the man smiled instead
"Your hands are scaly, do you shed? How do you regulate your body temperature? Are your anatomy even the same with humans? Can you blink? Do you have a see trough eyelids? Can you sense heat with your nose?" The man in trench coat grab the lizard man's hand and begin to bombarded him with questions after questions
"Oy i said back off!" The lizard man pushed the man in white again while pulling his hand away
"Is there a problem here" suddenly a knight in white robe with brown hair appear behind the them
"Tch there is n-"
"Excuse me are you a knight?" Tatsuya seeing a new subject of his curiousity immediately changed his objective
"Why yes i am, a royal knight serving the kingdom of lugunica it self" the knight said proudly
And the man in white coat step forward
"Interesting, your body looks slim for a knight but it does looks fit, you have a swimmer built which mainly focused on agility, are you wearing a uniform? Is that the uniform of this kingdom's knight? Is that a real sword? What is it made of? Copper? Iron? Mythril?!" And just like the lizard man the knight is also being bombarded with questions
"What?" The knight is shocked at someone disrespecting his title and invading his personal space with questions
"Are there nobles in this kingdom? Is it a monarchy system? What is the latest technological breakthrough you guys have? Do you have steam engine? What year is it?" Oh you think he is done? No he still have far too many questions to ask
But before he can get the answers from these people he sees something from the corner of his eyes that gained his interest
"Dinosaur!" He sees a carriage being drawn by dinosaurs or somekind
He runs straight towards the dinosaur with star in his eyes without caring about anything and trying to get a closer look
"Wait! Sir that's dangerous!" The previous knight scream while trying to stop the excited man but nothing can stop his curiousity
But as Tatsuya run towards the dinosaur he notice a small child that are about to be run over by the carriage
'i already have the momentum, as long as i don't slow down then!' Tatsuya thought as he sprint towards the child and lunged towards him
He grab the child and roll over on the ground while protecting the small child with his arms
The child are too shocked to notice that he is still alive
"Are you ok?" Tatsuya ask the shocked child and soon as the adrenaline wore off the child begin to cry
"Sush sush sush hey hey, don't cry alright? You are save, come on let's get you to your parents" Tatsuya tried to calm down the child and the child nodded
Soon after a woman comes rushing towards him and hug the child
"Oh thank you, thank you for saving my son, thank you" the woman said while sobbing to her sons back
And soon after people begin to cheer for him
Which makes hin feel uncomfortable
"Um, you're welcome ma'am. Please look after him more carefully in the future, alright bye!" He then run away from the crowds because it makes him uncomfortable
"Wait! What's your name?!" The mother screamed at the running man in white coat as he turns back
"Tatsuya!" He screamed back and continue running

He arrived at an alley after trying to avoid any crowd that are cheering for him
"Damn, it still feels weird" he muttered
"Oy oy look at this boys. Someone just comes and decide to donate his wealth to us, isn't that nice?" And just in cue, the three muggers comes forward
'godamn it' Tatsuya thought as he look at the three muggers
"Now you better cough up your money an-" "GUARDS! HELP ME!" Before the muggers can do anything, Tatsuya decide to do a pro gamer move
'What? You think i am stupid enough to fight 3 people with god knows how many weapons or bullsh*t magic?' He thought as he screams for help
"Oy! Stop screaming!" The muggers stupidly said
"Alright" and he stopped screaming.
The muggers are flabergasted that it works
"Wait really?"
"Of course not, HEEEEEELP!" And he screams again,
The muggers stepped back in shock,
They then decide to beat the man now and lunged forwards
But they forgot that they are not the only one that has legs
"Nigerundayo!!!!!" Tatsuya use the secret joestar technique.
It's super effective!
The muggers run forward trying to catch The man in white coat,
But unfortunately for them someone hears Tatsuya's plea
A man with red hair and a white knight uniform walk toward the alley with grace,
Tatsuya seeing the familiar white knight uniform, bolted towards the knight and hide behind him
"Mister knight! Thank you for coming, i was about to be mugged you see but now that you are here, i am sure you can handle them" He shamelessly said while hiding behind the red haired knight
Reinhard sensing that the man is telling the truth, focused his attention to the three muggers.
"I suggest you cease these act as i will not let you harm a citizen of lugunica" Reinhard use intimidation.
It's super effective!
"Sh*t that's the sword saint"
"Argh why are we so unlucky today"
"Damn it" the three muggers grumbled and walk away
"Fiuh! That was close, thanks man! You really save me there" Tatsuya comes from behind the sword saint pat the red hair in the back
"You flatter me, i am sure you can handle yourself even if i am not here" Reinhard being the humble knight that he is tried to discredit himself
"Naaaah i am tottaly screwed back there, the name is Tatsuya by the way, nice to meet ya" he pat the red hair in his shoulder while smiling brightly
"My name is Reinhard van Astrea, please call me Reinhard" The red hair step forward and invade the man personal space
"Right right, Reinhard is it, excuse me for asking this but are your hair natural? Do people have a natural colorfull hairs in this kingdom?" Tatsuya ask something that have been bugging him this entire time,
"? Yes my hair is natural and people in lugunica do have natural colorful hairs. But it's not only in lugunica, Gusteko, kararagi, and Volachia also have colorfull hairs" Reinhard answered his question and Tatsuya nodded
"Facinating, and how does that works? Is there somebody with green, blue, or red skin in this kingdom?" Tatsuya asked again
"Skin? No, nobody have green, blue, or red skin on this kingdom. Only their hairs and eyes" Reinhard is even more confused on why is Tatsuya asking this weird question
"How? Is your melanin different between your skin and hairs? Is that even a melanin then? Or is it a completely new pigment like the red head situation"
"Melanin? Pigment?"
"Forget about it" Tatsuya forgot that this world is in a medieval setting so modern words like melanin and pigment mean nothing for them
"Interesting, and i assume those names you said before are the name of other kingdoms? How many are there?" He keeps interogating the red head and Reinhard is just so happy to answer his question
But suddenly
"Thief! Stop running!" They hear a voice coming from the entrace of the alley and soon enough they see a beautifull woman with silver hair and purple hair, running towards the alley
"? I don't know you like to steal stuff Reinhard" Tatsuya throw the knight under the bus
"No, i assure you Tatsuya-san that i did not steal from anyone" Reinhard answerd with grace
Tatsuya after teasing his new friend look at the newly arrived guest
"Are you sure your thief run this way ma'am?" He ask and the girl examine the alley,
She sees nothing but a normal allies and 2 gentlemens that looks nothing like the thief
"I am sorry! I didn't mean to accuse you, did the two of you see a thief running through here?" She apologize for he mistake and get straight to the point
"The only one i see that comes to this alley is this knight and you, sooooo no, I don't see 'em" Tatsuya explained and the silver haired girl nodded
"I see, thank you very much for the infromation, i will be on my way now" the silver haired girl politely thank them and return to her mission
"Wait!" But before she can run off Tatsuya called her
"Yes?" She looks back at the man in white coat
"What if we help you find the thief? I have nothing better to do anyway and he is a knight so he *should* help you" Tatsuya offer to help the woman and she squinted her eyes trying to find the hidden meaning of his gesture
"That's correct ma'am, as a knight of this kingdom i can not let a crime happens infront of me and not do anything about it" Reinhard agreed to what Tatsuya said
"Um, but i don't have anything to offer you as a reward" the woman answerd
"Didn't i say that i have nothing better to do? It's either i stay here and get nothing or i help you and get nothing, lesser of two evil you know?" Tatsuya explained his reasoning on why did he want to help her
"And as a knight i can not accept a reward for simply doing my job, so please ma'am, let us help you" Reinhard once again help with the case and now the Woman have no reason to not accept their help
"Also, who's to say that you can't give me anything anyway?" Tatsuya suddenly asked and now both Reinhard and the woman are looking at him
"I really have nothing to give you" the woman said.
"Nope, you have something to give to me, and that is your friendship! We can be friends! And also i am pretty new in this kingdom, let's just say i had just spurt out of a rock and now i know nothing of this world,
By helping you and befriending you i can get information on how this world works, so it's a win win for all of us" Tatsuya give his honest reason on what is his motive on helping her
The woman look at the man in white coat in suspiciouns but she can't see any deceiving features on the man
But even so what he just said is just ridiculous
"You want to be my friend?" She ask trying to confirm what the man just said
"Yeah! Why? Is that a problem? Does friend have different meaning in this world?" Tatsuya looked toward the redhead as he asked his questions.
"No, I assure you, 'friends' still means the same. It's someone who has a close bond with another without having any familial relationship," Reinhard explained, even if he didn't know what 'friends' meant in Tatsuya's head.
"Oh well, it's the same then. Yeah, I mean that, friends!" Tatsuya confirmed his intention with a smile.
"Why?" she asked.
"Why what?" he asked back.
"Why do you want to be my friend?" the white-haired woman said.
"Why don't I want to be your friend?" he asked back, clearly having no idea why she was asking so many questions just for friendship.
"Because I am a half-elf," the woman laid out her cards and told him her real identity, while opening up her hood, revealing her true face.
"And?" But none of that had any effect on Tatsuya.
"What do you mean 'and'? I am a half-elf," she repeated her case, but it really had no effect on him.
"So? You are a half-elf. Big news. This is a fantasy world. If you say that you are an alien trying to take over the planet by kissing every single person on the planet, then I will still believe you. So what if you are a half-elf? It doesn't change the fact that I want to be your friend. Hell, it only makes me want to be your friend even more! Elves are known to be very beautiful, after all, and you have clearly proven that it is true," Tatsuya answered honestly with a smile.
The half-elf woman turned her head, trying to conceal her obvious blush.
'Cute,' Tatsuya thought.
"Puyaaa!" And suddenly, a furball launched itself towards Tatsuya and Punched him in the nose.
Alright, A punch is not accurate, more like a nudge
"And pray tell, what have I done to deserve this?" Tatsuya asked the furball.
"I am not mad or anything, I just have this urge that I need to let out!" the furball gripped its paw closely to his chest while making a punching motion.
"Oh no, that's not what I meant," Tatsuya suddenly said, grabbing the furball in his hand.
"Wha?!" The cat was shocked that someone would just dare to grab him and pet him like a common cat.
"So cute!" He ran his hand around the small cat and pet his head with his finger.
"Wait! What are you doing? Fuaaa~ wait, hold on~ eheheee~" the cat tried to break away from Tatsuya's grab but couldn't.
This kept going for a few minutes with the cat being touched all over the place by Tatsuya.
"Ha~ ha~ haa~ you— you really know how to pet a cat, boy," the cat tried its best to maintain some of its dignity after the relentless assault by Tatsuya.
"Sorry, but I just have an obsession with cute things," Tatsuya said after letting go of the small cat.
"You have guts, boy, touching a great spirit like mine without any fear. I commend you on that," the cat once again tried to fix his reputation, but Tatsuya shot him down once more.
"What's a great spirit?" Tatsuya asked the redhead (he is the one who's been answering his questions all this time, so he is bound to ask him).
"A great spirit is a spirit that has transcended in powers. In simple terms, it is the strongest form of a spirit," Reinhard explained to Tatsuya, but it's not really helping.
"Uh huh, and what's a spirit?" Tatsuya asked again.
"A spirit is a physical manifestation of mana, think of it as mana that has gained consciousness," the more he answered, the more questions it raised.
"And what's mana?"
"It's a life energy that every living being has; it is also the source of magic."
"How does that work?"
"Well, it—" "If you don't mind, I kinda want to get my daughter's insignia around this century, so can we skip this part?" Puck had had enough of the white-coated man's questions.
"Alright, alright, jeez, no need to be so cranky, little cutie."
"I am not a cutie!"
The two humans and a half-elf giggled at the cat spirit's reaction.
"Alright then, let's be friends," the half-elf woman said after her giggle fit at her foster father's reaction.
"Not yet," but the man in the white coat stopped her.
"There is something we need to do first in order for us to be friends." The half-elf looked at the man suspiciously, thinking that he would ask her to do something just for her friendship.
"We need to do introductions first!" And her negative thoughts were all shattered to pieces by the innocent man.
"I see, then in that case, my name is Rein—" "Nope, shut your mouth Rein, I am going first!" Tatsuya cut the sword saint's introduction like it was a normal thing to do.
"Ahem, my name is Tatsuya Hosin! The newly transmigrated person from the modern world! Nice to meet you."
