"You haven't told me your name yet i have told you mine, it doesn't seems fair is it?"
"Oh! Right, sorry. Um My name is Emilia, just Emilia. Nice to meet you Hosin-sama" Tatsuya look at the half elf with raised eyebrows
"Where does that Sama came from?"
"Well, you are the decendant of the great Hosin, the founder of Kararagi so technically you are a royalty"
"Royalty? Nah, not happening" Reinhard and Emilia look at the man waving his hand in dismissal as if he don't like the idea of him being a royalty

"I mean i don't want to be a royalty, because if i do some "nobles" are going to force me to be a king and that is not happening"

A carriage went past them, the carriage are being drawn by a dinosaur like creature but people don't pay them any mind as if this is just a common occurance
The man in white coat look at the dinosaur drawn carriage and a bunch of questions comes to his mind,
But knowing that right now they are racing against time he decide not to waste anymore
"Why don't we check the shady place" the red head and the woman in robe looks at their friend while he walk casually with his hands behind his head
"What do you mean by that?"
"The shady place, you know a place where shady bussiness are being held, the thief will obviously sell your stuff because why would he keep it?
So our best bet is to find where will the thief sell those kind of thing in"
"And where would this place be?"
"You are asking that question to the person that comes from a completely different reality from you and you expect an answer?"
The half elf look at the man that are walking in casual manner with no care whatsoever
She begin to consider her option and what he said is right, it is the most likely place where the thief would be,
The only question is where is that
"But i can narrow it down to the most likely place of where those kind of things will be" and the two people walking down the street look at their friends with hopefull eyes
"Rein, you are a knight so you must know the inner work of this city right?" The man in white coat look at the red head as he asked his question
"Yes, i am very familiar with this city, i even know every house in the city"
"That was weird but anyway, do you know if there is place where the knights are very rarely or even never patroled into?
Like a place where laws enforcements are not welcomed?" The three of them keep walking as they tried to figure out where the thief might be,
Thet walk past a bunch of people, human and demi human alike
"No, i don't think there is a place that don't welcome the knights... But if i have to guess then it would be the slum,
Not only the knights but anyone is not welcomed there, and honestly no one is willing to go there either"
"Well there you go, we have a clue now so let's start there"

"I do know where it is, shall we go there Emilia-sama?" Reinhard being the honorable knight that he is asked the woman for permision first

"Are you sure? We are on a very important mission you know?"
"But still, I can't let a child suffer like this" She step forward and walk towards the child
Tatsuya sighed at her behaviour while Reinhard smiled looking at her
They then begin to follow the Emilia towards the child

"Tada!" the man pulled out a weird copper coin from his coat and showed it to her
"Look at this rare 50 yen on me alright?" He then put the coin on his palm and squeezed it with his palm
"Now tight tight tight, aaaaand gone" He open up is his palm and suddenly the small copper coin is gone
The child look at it with stars on her eyes
'where did it go?!' she tried to look around his palm but really the coin is not there.
"Now where is it?" The man then begin to ruffle the side of her hair and touch something near her ear
"It's here!" He pulled out his hand and show that the copper coin is now back on his hand
'How?!' the child touch her ear as she don't notice at all when did he put the coin in her ears
"It is there all along! Now you can keep the coin, it is rare so take a good care of it okay?" The man then give the small copper coin to the child as she excitedly accept it
Her eyes wander to the coin, it really is weird, nothing like the copper coin she used to sees from her fathers shop
She feels a hand patting her head and it feels warms. Just like her mothers hand,
"Now, what is the problem little one?" She looks up and see the man smiling with his eyes closed while ruffling her hair

The man in white coat wave his hand back to the woman and so does the sword saint and the half elf
"See? That feels nice isn't it?" Emilia hapily chirped as she was walking with smile plastered on her face
"Well i wouldn't deny that it feels good to help others but- ah what the hell, if even the owner of the things is not that bothered by it then why should i?" Tatsuya was about to scold the half elf but resign as it is really not his business so he just let her do whatever she wants.
He looks up the sky and see that it is still high noon, but you can never be too carefull in a fantasy world like this so the sooner they get the things the better
"Oy Reinhard, is the slums that far? How long do we need to keep walking?"
"It is rather close from here it's about 1 and a half hour if we walk, we can shorten that to around 1 hour if we ran"
"Nah, better safe our energy for something else, who knows maybe the negotiation is not gonna go smoothly
Actually that's something i want to ask you Emilia, what is your plan when you meet the thief?" Tatsuya suddenly remember a core detail on what would they do when they meet the thief
"What else? I am gonna ask them to return it!" Tatsuya look at the Innocent half elf with eyes that say "are you serious?"
"You're gonna... Ask them to return it? Does the 'asking' include a few violence here and there?"
"Well i hope that they will give me if i just ask them, but if they don't then i will force them to give me the thing"
"So in other words we are just gonna go there and demand them to give back your things? What if they say no and run away?"
"We run after them"
'Is she serious?' Tatsuya is too baffled at her cavemen mentality,
Really? Just go up to them, demand them to give what hers, and if they run just go after them? Is she barbarian? Is everyone in this world barbarians?
"Can we uh... Negotiate for it? Maybe you have something you can give them in exchange of giving back your things?"
"Why do i need to pay them for giving my things? It's Mine"
"Well yes but you lost it, think of it as a payment for your mistakes"
"I didn't lost it! It was stolen!"
"Poteto Potato Emilia, anyway let's just, see how it goes. Best case scenario we can just use our buddy knights authorities to force them to give back what's yours" Tatsuya slap the back of their Red headed friend
The three of them continue their journey towards the slums
