Chapter 12: War (2):

Faina's POV:

I'm now locked in a cell. "You won't get away with this," I said.

"Who are you?"

I then turned around. "I'm Faina," I said, "who are you?"

"I'm Princess Luker'ya and these are my parents."

"You're the royal family of Parthenia," I said.

"Do you know where our son is," ask the Queen.

"Don't worry," I said, "he's alright."

The Nutcracker's POV:

We were still fighting the soldiers.

"Don't let them separate us, Dominik," I said.

Faina's POV:

I was trying to find a way to break out. Then Sugar Plum Queen came. "I'm going to reduce Mother Ginger to a useless toy and there's nothing you can do to stop me!" Sugar Plum then leaves, but when she wasn't looking, I took her key.

. . .

The Royal Family and I were sneaking around until we got to the chamber where Sugar Plum Queen plans to use the machine on Mother Ginger and the other Regents.

"Any last words," asks Sugar Plum.

The Nutcracker's POV:

We were still fighting the toy soldiers.

Faina's POV:

Just as Sugar Plum Queen was about to use the machine, I jumped and knocked the machine towards Sugar Plum Queen, causing her to turn to a useless toy.

"Now, we just have to turn off all the soldiers," says Mother Ginger.

"But how do we..."

Then the Princess does something, and all the soldiers turn back to toys. "What," asks the Princess, "I'm a mechanical genius."

"Did not see that coming," I said.

The Nutcracker then came in. "You did i-"

He gets stabbed by the Mouse King.

"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!" I shouted.

"I see you got rid of Sugar Plum Queen," says the Mouse King, "well, I'm just going to have to avenge her, but I did tell her the machine was useless!"

Dominik then punches the Mouse King, who then attacks him. Then Sergei joins in. I then ran over to the Nutcracker. "Don't go," I said, "I love you!" I then kissed him and he changes.

"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!" says the Mouse King.

The Nutcracker turns back into-

"Rodion," says the King.

"Rodion," says the Queen.

"Rodion," says the Princess.

"Rodion," says Sergei.

"Rodion," asks Zinovia.

"You turned me into that nutcracker," says the Prince.

"I don't understand," says the Mouse King, "there is no way a simple confession of love and a kiss could have turned you back, unless... you!"

"Me," I asked.

"You have been the true threat the whole time!" The Mouse King was about to attack me, but then the Prince kills him. The Mouse King falls to the ground.

"Faina," says the Prince, "you took down Sugar Plum Queen! You turned me back! You saved us all! You are the Ballerina Princess!"

"Did not see that coming," says Gala.

"I'm still wrapping my head around the whole Nutcracker Prince thing," says Dominik.

"Rodion," says Zinovia, "I'm sorry for what I said. I had no idea-"

"It's alright," says the Prince.

. . .

We then had a party and we all danced for what seemed like an eternity...

. . .

I then woke up. Was it all a dream? I then looked at Gala and I saw she still had the flower Sergei gave her. I was so happy. I then woke her up. "I had the strangest dream," says Gala, "we shrunk and had to help an army of toy soldiers fight a bad army of toy soldiers let by a candy fairy and a talking mouse."

"Gala, look at your hand," I said.

Gala looks and sees she has the flower. "It wasn't a dream," says Gala.

"We have to find Dominik," I said.

. . .

I confirmed to Dominik that it was no dream. "Then... I punched a mouse," says Dominik.

"But wait... what about Sergei or Zinovia or Rodion," asks Gala.

"I guess they're back in their world," I said.

"Well, can't we visit them," asks Gala.

"It's not the kind of world you can visit," says Dominik.

"I'm sorry to interrupt," says my Mom, "but there's a prince here to see you, Faina."

. . .

We walked down the stairs, and the prince was Rodion. "Rodion," I said.

"Hello Faina," says Rodion. His friends then appear.

"I have questions," says my Mom, "but you can tell me later."

And then we all danced.

The End
