(With Charlie)

Charlie swan was pissed. His ex-wife called CPS on him. She did this because Billy told Bella off when she called Charlie to yell at him. The CPS worker was very baffled since Bella wasn't in Charlie's custody. She was with her grandparents. Nothing came of the call.

Then Charlie learned that Renee had called the station. She tried to say that Charlie used to abuse her and that was why she left with Bella. It would have worked had she not forgotten to hang up the phone afterwards. She was talking to someone else about it being a lie to punish her ex. The phone call was recorded.

It really hurt him that Renee and Bella were acting this way towards him. It also pissed him off. He never did anything to deserve what they were pulling. He had always tried his best with them and they could care less.

At the moment he was sitting on the front step of his house. He was wondering what had gone wrong.

"Charlie?" It was Billy.

"Yeah?" Looked up at him.

"Are you okay?" He heard about the calls.

"No." He answered.

"I didn't think so. I'm so sorry Charlie." He said.

"Don't be. None of this is your fault."

"I know- oh hello there." He looked off to the side.

Charlie followed his eye line and saw Harry. The green eyed wizard smiled at them.

"Hi. So I am wondering if either of you would like any cupcakes. My sister went way overboard." He said, holding up a large container filled to the brim with cupcakes.

"Sure." Charlie said. "Thank you."

Harry breathed out a sigh of relief. "No, thank you. I can't eat anymore."

That made the other two laugh. "You're welcome." Charlie said.

"Have a good day." He said, handing over the cupcakes.

"Thank you. You too." The two said.

With another smile he went back to his house. Billy caught his friend staring at Harry's ass. That made him smirk and Charlie noticed it when he looked back at him.

"What?"

"You like him." His smirk widened.

"N-no I don't." He lied.

"You were staring at his ass." He dryly said.

"No I wasn't." He lied again.

"Uh-huh." He rolled his eyes.

"I wasn't." He denied.

"Sure you weren't."

"Hey!"

Billy laughed as Charlie pouted. The two went inside and Billy continued to tease his friend.

(With Harry and Luna)

"I saw that~" Luna sang.

"I have no idea what you are talking about." He said.

"Oh? So you didn't wear those tight jeans just so that your mate will stare at your bum?" She asked.

"Nope." He smiled.

"Uh-huh." She didn't believe him.

"Anyway we don't actually know if he is my mate." He said.

Luna bit her lip. After Harry left the Cullen household her and Kingsley talked. He told her about Harry being Carlisle's mate and that Carlisle had another one but that one was unknown. Luna told him about Charlie and they figured he was their mate.

As much as she wanted to confirm it for him she knew it wasn't the right decision. The three needed to get to know each other and Harry might fight it. He wouldn't want to burden them. He still felt that he wasn't allowed to be happy.

"Yeah." She said.

"Anyway I have class tomorrow. I need to prepare." He said.

"Okay."
