Mass Effect: Halo Codex Version, a Halo + Mass Effect Crossover fanfic

Welcome to the beginning of my author notes and yes, the author notes will be the first chapter and thus not technically a first chapter of my new story and this story is a three-way crossover between Avatar, Halo, and Mass Effect though under Halo and Mass Effect crossover as Fanfiction doesn't have the option for multiple crossovers other than X-Overs. This story will be an AU so do not expect things to stay the same or follow cannon. So, I don't know the exact word count I'll be expecting for every single chapters for the story but do not expect them to be all even though I would say I will expect my chapters to be either at 2,000 words or above 2,000 words. Though the first chapter will be either 2,000 words or less than 2,000 words or above since it's an Author notes chapter. Now I'll be trying to explain things in separate paragraphs and not huge paragraphs to make it easier to read. I'm going to be using the five-model continent which has the continents of Antarctica, Africa, Americas(North America and South America), Eurasia(Asia and Europe), and Oceania.

The reason why I decided to create a Halo and Mass Effect crossover along with the Avatar(James Cameroon) is that I want to see of how the Halo Humanity will dell with a first contact before the Covenant and see if I can improve things to make it were Humanity is not going to be badly one-sided and almost defeated in the Covenant War and see how a bit more advance Halo humans and their allies deal with the Covenant. The reapers will appear in the year 2283 CE nearly 100 years later than they should as in this story Humanity first contact will be around 2200 CE which is thirty years after the Interplanetary War in the Halo verse and the reason for that is 2200 through 2300 CE is peaceful and that I want it were Humanity is after a war but still had the experience of it remaining in them and not disappearing so. Also, in this story Halo humanity uses mass effect technology in their technology. I'll also need help for mass effect as I briefly play the games, but my knowledge of the lore comes from mass effect fanon wiki and YouTube, so if anyone with a lot of knowledge of Mass Effect and its lore will be willing to help answer the questions I have about it, I'll appreciated it.

So, one of the things I change from cannon and thus real life is combing nations together though you wouldn't see this possibly after a few or a lot of chapters after this one. So the reason for me to combine nations with other nations to either created a nation that used to existed or make a nation large is to simple bring down the number of nations we have in real life and what this does is that either lower the amount of conflicts/wars that's to happen over the history or just removed conflicts/wars from history and lower the amount of deaths that happen cause of them wars. For example is making it were the Byzantine Empire still survives as they manage to win the Conquest of Constantinople though at the cost of losing their Asian and African parts of the Empire while keeping the European part of the Empire and thus the Byzantine Empire was reduced from an empire into the Byzantine Kingdom, and thus limiting the Ottomans influence to parts of Asia and the Middle East as the Egyptians manage to resisted the Ottomans conquest and limit the Islam and Arabs influence into Africa. Instead of there being 195 nations I manage to bring the number of nations down to 78 nations which means that 117 nations aren't a nation in this story/fanfiction as they do not exist in this fanfiction/story.

The next thing I change from cannon and thus real life is combing WW1 and WW2 into one war now the reason for this is that I wanted to make it were after a Great War and only a Great War humanity doesn't want to have any wars unless they have to as the total death range in this Great War is nearly 100 million deaths including both military death and civilian deaths which is about four percent of the population by 1950 and the Great war begin on July 24, 1935, CE and ended on September 2, 1945, CE. But the battles that happen in both WW1 and WW2 still happen. Also, the Cold War is called the Technology Arms Race and while the wars/battles still happen in the Technology Arms Race, the Technology Arms Race isn't a war and is mainly a race to advance the technology of Humanity as quickly as possible. The Technology Arms Race began on March 12, 1947, CE and ended on December 26, 1991, CE. So, the advancement in the vehicles, and technology that happen in the Cold War still happen in this Technology Arms Race.

So, the reason why this is a codex and not the actual story part is so that you can see stuff like Humanity ships/alien relations are like without me putting in Author notes in the actual story. Now the story and thus the codex will be in three arcs/phases. There will probably be four/five stories for this with the first one dealing about the Na'vi and the Council. The second story deals about the Reapers and aftermath. The third story will deal with the Covenant, Flood, Forerunners, and the aftermath. And the final story will deal with Andromeda, and will there be a fifth part I don't really know yet but most likely not. Now this is the end of my Author notes and thus the end of this chapter. The next chapter will be the info of the Sol System, also the Sol System is called the Helios System and Earth is called Terra meaning planets name and their moon names will be different names than in real life Sol system names.
