Archie had no choice but to step out of his hiding spot. "I said let him go Tristan!!" Archie shouted. "How about no?" Trickster said.

Larryboy was heavily breathing. Archibald was able to kick him just enough to stun him. It was long enough to untie the helpless hero and pick him up.

"You okay?" Archibald asked with concern. Larryboy only shook his head as he immediately started panting.

"I-I think h-he broke m-my ribs.." Larryboy said as he kept panting.

He had his head on his chest as he tried to balance himself.

"Listen, there is an exit near the back, the ninjas won't detect you there. Once you head out, go wait outside. I'll fight him while you make your escape." Archibald whispered to the injured hero.

"B-But what about you?" Larryboy asked while shaking.

"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine." Archibald replied.

"Archie... I'm..." Larryboy said but trailed off with a blush.

"It okay. I already know." Archie said before the Trickster attacked the mayor 'who fought back'. This gave the injured hero the opportunity to run out.

Though while running, Larryboy kept running while panting. His Jetpack can't work considering it was ruined by a cup of water.

He was able to run to the nearest exit just like Archibald said.

Once outside he made sure he found a safe hiding place from the ninjas.

It was also an opportunity to catch his breath.

"He-He knew. He knew it's me. Bu-but for how long?" Larryboy said quietly while panting 'trying to catch his breath.'

He leaned on the wall of his hiding spot and sat down. He closed his eyes while feeling dizzy.

"I-I should rest here. I-in case..." Larryboy said softly before the injured hero rests his eyes for a little bit.

Archie growled at the Trickster 'who was ticked off'.

"We coulda still had our bond as friends Archibald Alfred Asparagus. But you just had to go to church. That bucktooth brat was the reason for your so..." The Trickster said in honesty and upset-like.

"Oh shut up Tristan! I chose this path myself. No one made me do it." Archibald interrupted angrily.

"God has given me a sign of what I did was wrong. I bet you only took him just so you can take your anger out on him. Not just a hostage situation. Tristan you really gone too far." Archibald said angrily as he punched The Trickster in the face.

"He had nothing to do what I did." Archibald said with a growl.

"You think I give a crap?! Seriously Archibald. We coulda still be friends but you decided to leave me alone." The trickster said with an upset tone.

"Well you still need to be taught a lesson for what you done to him." Archibald growled as he said it.

Without hesitation Archibald and the Trickster charged at each other as they fought.

Archibald had dodged The Tricksters attack while punching the trickster in the face.

The Trickster growled angrily before kicking Archibald to the wall.

"We'll old friend, this is the end." The Trickster said with a smirk as he held out a knife.

"Die you wretch!" The trickster said before going to stab the mayor.

"No!" Archibald said as he stopped him.

"Les you forget. I am stronger than you Tristan! My love for him gives me the strength and courage to stop you and save him!" Archibald said before kicking The Trickster hard.

Archibald was able to defeat him but The Trickster had one more trick.

"If I got down. I'm taking you w-with me." The trickster said showing a switch for a bomb.

He laughed as Archibald growled.

"It may have been my fault for leaving you Tristan but I coulda reasoned with you to take another path. Just like I did when I realized my sins." Archibald said as the building started to collapsed while an explosion was heard.

Knowing what that meant, Archibald started to run to a nearby exit.

"Hehe... Maybe so Archibald but your too late for me to be redeemed." The Trickster said as he laughed and coughed.

The laughter and coughing echoed so loud when Archibald exited out. The building collapsed.

Archibald made it out okay but he was a little injured.

He turns to the now burning building while breathing heavily.

"Adios, old friend." Archibald whispered as he looks down.

He got up while dusting himself off.

"Well that takes cares of that problem. Now where did Larry go?" Archibald said to himself.

That's when he sees Larryboy in his hiding place asleep.

Undoubtedly he was exhausted.

"Larryboy." Archibald said as he rushed to the slumbering boy.

That's when the exhausted and injured hero opened his eyes and looked to see Archibald looking at him in concern.

"Y-your okay..." Larryboy muttered with a smile.

"Y-you knew it was me. Didn't you?" Larryboy said as he looked down.

"I-I did. But save your strength. I need to tell you something." Archibald said as he looked down.

The injured hero attempted to stand up a little but fell back down. Causing his helmet to fall off.

Larry looked up at Archibald with a blush. Archibald smiled a little before caressing his face.

"Y-you saved me I-I knew you would." Larry said with a smile and tears.

"I know. I care about you cause I... I really like you." Archibald said as he placed LarryBoy's helmet back on his head.

The injured hero was surprised with a blush. Archibald really did feel the same as him.

That's when Larryboy started chuckling in tears of joy while Archibald did the same as the two hugged each other until the league of veggies and the police and ambulance arrived.
