Kotomi's POV

I wiped the sweat from my brow as the sun beat down on my back. I was having a spar against my cousin Neji. It was a hot and sunny morning, my cousin and I had been at it for a for some time now. Soon, a a minutes later, clapping was heard. We turned to see the Hyuga clan head, Hiashi walking towards us.

"That's enoughi for now, you two." Hiashi called out walking over to the two of us still clapping.

"So what's the score now?" Hiashi asked, the corners of his eyes crinkling slightly as he smiled. Glancing sidelong at anemia for a moment while we trudged back twirls the interior of the compound, I turned to the Hyuga clan head.

"We're tied now, 27 wins to 27 wins and 54 ties I think."

"It's 28 to 28 actually, though you're correct about the ties..." Neji said, a small smile popping onto his face as I stuck out my tongue at him playfully. Hiashi meanly shook his head at our antics.

"Well, regardless of what the scores are, I'm happy with both of your Groth. Neji, Hizashi wanted you for something; you'll have to ask him what that something is, though, as he didn't bother to tell me." Neji nodded, handing his towel back to the Hyuga clan head before heading off twords the branch family side of the compound.

"Now as for you, Kotomi, why don't you go cool off and take a shower? I'm sure Hitomi and the branch family members will have lunch ready by the time you get cleaned up."

"Hai Hiashi..."

15 minutes later...

I sighed, closing my eyes as I let the shower waster caress my scalp and backside. A small smile played across my face as I ran my hands through my midnight blue hair, arching my back to make sure each and every stand got perfectly wet. Once satisfied with my hair's state of being, I opened my pupil-less, lavender Byakugan eyes, grabbing my personal bottle of shampoo from where it lay at the side of the shower stall. Humming tunelessly to myself, I get my thoughts drift as I lathered the shampoo into my hair.

Shivering slightly as I stepped out of the shower stall and onto the cool bathroom floor. I proceeded to bind my perky C-cup breast's in place with medical tape. While not exactly a standard procedure when combined with my formal kimono, I found it was better then the alternative.

Hinata had caught me before I started my shower, letting me know that Hiashi had invited guests over for lunch. Some how I couldn't help but sigh once more, letting the cascading water rinse away what soap still covered my lithe body. Having guests over for a meal wasn't a bad thing in itself, but, knowing my father, it was bound to be someone important. Norm wile I wasn't exactly a fan of formal gatherings, I wasn't about to blow this ovation off. It was merely... troublesome, as my classmate Nara Shikamaru would say.

Anyways, once I had slipping into my lavender flowered kimono, I tied it closed with a matching lavender sash about my waist. Giving myself a once-over to make sure my clothing was presentable, I paused in front of the ornate mirror hanging above the sink in order to place my shoulder-length midnight locks into a neat bun. Completing the ensemble with two chopsticks my scalp and the rest of my hair, I sighed slightly. Next on my list of things to do was cosmetics; a touch of eye shadow to the corners of my eyes, and a light smattering of lipstick across my pink lips. Normally I'd skip the cosmetics entirely, opting to leave my hair down as well, but with guests coming over for lunch I had to look my best.

Typically lunch was a serve yourself kind of a fair at the Hyuga clan compound, however, the guests that Hiashi had invited were none other the main family of the Uchiha clan; mainly the patriarch Fugaku, his wife Mikoto, and their two sons Itachi and Sasuke. Now, unlike the elders of the Hyuga clan, who were ingrained in the old ways, I held no animosity towards any of the Uchiha family. Sure, I enjoyed a friendly rivalry with Sasuke In the academy, but there no hostility between me and specifically and the Uchiha. Granted, was because of the way I was raised, but that is another story entirely.
