The Total Drama cast were at the hotel for what would be their last day before they would all be picked up to be led to the rides that would take them all home. A grou pof them were exchanging numbers and email address so they coudl stay in contact. "I am so going to miss you so much... Hope we can all video call, keep in touch and can meet again..." DJ cried pulling several of them in as well.
"I am sure that fate will bring us together again..." Dawn then said smiling at DJ's embrace even as others struggled with smiling from how tight the embrace was as he let go. "Especially with my boyfriend." Dawn said as she then kissed Lincoln the cheek and then faced a smiling Zoey. "And new new best friend." Dawn said as she then hugged Zoey.
"Thought of something Dawn but you offered Gwen to have her be your partner as your boyfriend and sister would be unavailable... Why didn't you ask Zoey?" DJ decided to ask but Zoey just smiled.
"It was my idea actually; I decided that I wanted to take a break from all this reality TV excitement until the next Total Drama season and I thought that my best friend could have more time to spend with her boyfriend's other girlfriend. Since they havent' really been on the same reality team yet." Zoey explained as Dawn smiled with Gwen.
"Still it means that you two will be outmatched by our experience working together... As we compete as friends and equal partners off course..." Courtney said with her arm around Lincoln's shoudler as he looked amused while rolling his eyes.
"Still I am glad that I got my wish of making new friends with all of you!" Zoey said as Bridgette came forward grinning.
"Me too and I can't wait to have my first date with the Island Champion when we can arrange it." Bridgette said as she then went and kissed Ezekiel on his cheek.
"Will treat you Bridgette while also using my moolah to help around the farm and live as a Champ!" Ezekiel said and some took that as 'a fool and his money are soon parted'. "But I want to give thanks again to my first and best friend and bro Lincoln... Would never have made it without ya..." Ezekiel told Lincoln grinning as he then put in the fist motion and Lincoln smiled as he put in the fist bump motion with him and they shared a brotherly hug as others smiled.
"Well for my million as I said will go to treating some friends I made as well as my boyfriend and tutition; plus putting some towards some causes to help the planet..." Gwen said as Dawn then went up to embrace her.
"We we destined to meet and be friends!" Dawn said as Lincoln smiled at his girlfriends getting along as Gwen just returned the hug. Sid who was coming out of her room after a video call with her parents noticed and then pushed Lincoln to the hug and his two girlfriends pulled him in as well with everyone smiling.
The smiles faded as a nervous looking Lindsay made herself known; "So are we cool... Everyone?" Lindsay asked trying to look and sound friendly despite the obvious glares.
"As long as we never have to be reminded of you again... Yep..." Zoey ended up saying with a look that screamed 'Commando Zoey' that caused her to run away screaming calling for Heather making them laugh.
Lincoln and Sid were picked up together in a special ride to the airport and a journey back to the airport nearest to Royal Woods and Great Lake City; "I tell ya Sid; the horror stories people say about airline foods but compared to what I had to seat from Chef for 2 straight seasons... By comparison the airline food is what you would find in a 5 star restaurant that you would have to make reservations half a decade in advance..." Lincoln said as they walked out to the greeting area and Lincoln was taken by surprsie as the Loud sisters ran and pulled him into a tight hug. He was calling for help as the Loud parents and grandparents came to join in.
Sid smiled and giggled but was caught in embrace with her parents and Adelaide.
"You were excellent Lincoln and we are so proud of you..." Albert said as they looked at him in pride.
"Even if you could have grown a spine during the last season..." Lynn Jr couldn't help but put out but the family gave her looks as Lincoln was uneasy.
"Yeah and about agreeing to work with her again and agreeing to go on the Ridonculous Race without discussing it first..." Lincoln said guiltily but they just smiled.
"Don't worry Lincoln; we have accepted it and though at times were were scared for your lives... It means that we get to compete together." Luna said as Lincoln was confused. "The Moon Goats' growing popularity and my relation to you meant that Sam and I were offered a spot and so was another for the family and Mum and Lola are taking it." Luna explained as Lincoln took this in.
"Wow... This should be interesting and fun... Means that I could introduce you both to Dawn and Gwen..." Lincoln ended up saying and this got the fmaily excited and he wished he didn't say a thing.
"You have to introduce the rest of us to Dawn in person one day as well..." Leni said excitedly as Lucy was listing off wanting to meet Gwen herself as Lincoln took this in.
"Glad to see you alright Lincoln and before we go... Adelaide wants to say something..." Sid's father Stanley said as Lincoln gulped as he looked down at the frowning Adelaide and was reminded of how he sided with Courtney against Sid. Plus he knew that Adelaide crushed on him which he was weirded out by (wondering if this was what Lori felt with Clyde's old crush on her) but Sid and Ronnie Anne found it amusing. He sighed as he looked at her apologetically.
"I am sorry Adelaide and... We made up and part of the competition that thing was and I wasn't exactly happy about it... No hard feelings with your sister and I would never want to hurt her..." Lincoln told her softly as Adelaide just hugged his leg.
"I know and I just wanted to say that I forgive you but please don't hurt things between you and Sid." Adelaide told him as the Loud sisters giggled at how adorable they found as Lincoln just gave a small smile.
The Loud family left together as Lincoln decided to ask Luan "So Luan... Are you still grounded?" The family laughed as Luan just sighed.
Lincoln was blindsided by the screaming fans and paparazzi that was mobbing the airport to have a look at Lincoln and when they got back to Royal Woods; "This is going to take some getting used to..." Lincoln muttered as in the car ride he was on his phone to take a look at the articles, fan blogs and videos that were made of him and other contestants on the show.
"Well bro the show's theme said that you all wanted to be famous and now you all succeeded" Luna said and they laughed at that. Lincoln wondered about how this would affect him when he's back at school as they had it sorted out so he would be able to catch up on his studies when he returned.
It turned out that the Loud family let Ronnie Anne and Lincoln's friend look after the house while they left to pick up Lincoln so they could throw him a welcome back party for when they returned. Lincoln embraced all his friends as they were all excited and happy for him. Especially Clyde and Ronnie Anne; Lincoln marvelled at how Clyde brought up that they managed to get him a spot on video call to the Aftermath show. Ronnie Anne even got to tell him that her family got offered a spot on the Race as well so her Mum and uncle Carlos would be competing as well as a team.
Then they were all telling him about how they liked his new friends and hoped to meet them; especially Gwen from Ronnie Anne and even Ezekiel his new 'bestie' as they joked with him.
Lincoln showed them a framed photo taken of the end of the last night with him and his friends in a group shot from the ones he made in Island and even the slower number of ones from Action. Even Sammy was there and Lightning who had gave Lincoln some parting words:
'I saw enough in you to consider you a rival so you and Ms CIT better make the 3rd time the charm in winning...'
Some catching up and the friends all left after saying goodbye to him. The parents left to take care of him and the Loud sisters stared at Lincoln as he sat on the couch. "What is going on? Lori, don't you and Bobby have to drive to your place with Ronnie Anne?" Lincoln asked and they just smiled at him.
"That could wait a minute as we discuss some interesting revelations that we learned. How it turned out that Dawn and you had already met at the trip long ago and how she turned out to have been your first kiss that you kept from us all this time?" Lori calmly said as Lincoln's face was now frozen in horror at the looks.
I want to thank you all for reading and all the feedback that helped motivate me to even get this far. I appreciate it all and I want to say that while I did say that the Race team list was put in; I decided to make some more changes so it wasn't totally filled with returning TD members from this verse. Keep things fresh. Plus I want to say that I plan on making the actual Race be a separate story so for now; this is completed! Thank you all and hope you return for when I get to working on the Ridonculous Race!
