John was awoke by multiple banging on his door, he was surprise by the banging as he try to sit up but was still waking up.
"John!"
He heard kyle called put to him as he groan displeasant as he sit on his bed.
He heard kyle called out to him again.
"John, get up, this is an emergency!"
He got up grogging and head to the door.
"Alright I'm coming."
He opens the door to see his friends and even hisao there looking at him concerned while holding a piece of paper.
Kyle hold up another piece of paper in front of john face and said.
"John, read it."
John was confused but worried as he grab the paper and start reading it as kyle said.
"We all got the same paper but each one is different, almost like a riddle."
John eyes widen as he read that lilly has been kidnapped by someone, he continues reading as jake said.
"You read it right? Your girlfriend is gone and so is the other girls we care for are kidnapped."
John look at him shocked by this and worried, he was starting to get frustrated by this as he shook the paper carelessly as hisao said.
"John, we need to find them and stop this person. They got hanako and she's most likely scared, she's not going to handle this situation well."
"What are we going to do?"
Kyle said as john was thinking and was getting frustrated by this, he look back at the paper and continue reading now looking at the last paragraph.
"Hey, is all of your paper's the same?"
"Well yeah, except the last sentence."
Kyle said as john look back at them rather puzzled and back at his paper as he read the last sentence that sounds like a puzzle.
"Lilly cannot see the beauty of the world which is a shame, she cannot even see how beautiful she's truly is in the mirror. In high-sight she cannot see anyone she knows nor the love ones, including me. But if only she could see more, like the blue skies or the beautiful star in the sky, if only it was dark. She can only feel what she can feel, like the nice cold breeze in the air, she can truly feel it up on the roof, if only she can see the beautiful view of the town and the school she's in. But at last, she is blind, including the love she hold dear."
John was wondering about that, he said it outloud as the boys were puzzled by that. But jake soon figure out what's the difference.
"Guys, my last paragraph is different than john's, look at your note."
They all look at their notes and they realize they are different from john's.
"Yeah, mines is different."
Kyle said as hisao said.
"What does your say?"
Kyle said his as he said.
"The girl can run but can't hide, nowhere she could go but run. But no matter what, she can't go far, not even being the best running in the sport club can prepare herself for this. Nobody can shelter her for what's to come, because I know exactly where she can hide."
This lead him being confused by this as he knows he's referring to emi but the last paragraph seem puzzling. This made him and the others puzzle of the last paragraph existence.
"That doesn't help at all."
Kyle said rather upset as the others were just unsure, as hisao looked at his.
"Guys, mines is different."
Jake can confirm this.
"Yeah, mines too."
Hisao started reading his.
"Poor little hanako, alone once again in her own little world of loneliness and darkness. Nobody will save her, not even her lover who's more useless than his lover."
This upset him really as he narrow his eyes but continues reading.
"Bastard. Anyways; She will be lost, alone with no way to escape her past, even her loneliness. But fixing something that's broken is difficult, nothing can cleanse her wounds. But one way for it to heal is to open up, and leave her comfort zone."
Hisao didn't know how to reach to that but perplexed and lost. Jake look at him as everyone soon turn their attention towards him.
"Alright, my turn."
He started to read his.
"Shizune is not the most flexible person out of the bunch, she always does stuff her way or by the rules. If only she had an actual team to help her, but she likes to be the center attention like a teacher's pet."
It ends there as jake was puzzled and upset by that.
"This didn't gave me much information."
Kyle spoke up.
"He's making us have to find them where?"
John thought about his story while the others were talking to each other.
"Guys, I think he's telling us where they are. Not straight up but hinting at it."
This perplexed them while making them upset, jake just had that sudden realization.
"Ooh, really? Like a riddle of sort."
He looks at his and gaze at it while kyle was not happy about this.
"Seriously? He wants us to figure it out without telling us directly?"
Hisao also find this tedious.
"Man, why is he doing this to them?"
John said.
"Because, he wants to get back at us, I don't know why he took yours but he don't like you either."
Hisao seem distress by that as jake look at john.
"John, read yours again, I think yours is simple."
He look at him rather unsure but read his, he soon finished and thought it over.
"The roof, well I guess I should check the roof then."
Kyle was pretty upset about this.
"That's bullshit, he gave you an easy one. I don't have an good answer for mine."
He read his and still hadn't figured it out yet as they seem to think on it, jake said.
"Well, not much we can go on, but maybe some it is connected and he's telling us the location."
Kyle seem confused on that.
"What? That doesn't make sense."
Hisao spoke up.
"The only thing we get is that she's good at running and something about shelter?"
John nods and point this out.
"He also said he knows where she hides."
"Yeah, well I don't."
Kyle seem stumped and ponder this as jake said.
"Well, maybe it has to do with the sport club, does it have a place where they go and have conversations or something?"
Kyle thought about it.
"Well, not really. The only places I cam think of is the p.e or that one sport shelter where they keep all the sports equipments at."
John said.
"Well, try the shelter first, it shouldn't be that far."
Kyle nods as he almost left, he was eager to leave.
"Yeah, what about you two?"
He looks at hisao and jake who hasn't got their location yet.
"Well, let me see."
Hisao looks at his and read his and thought about it.
"Well clearly she's in a room."
"Yeah, but which one?"
John said as hisao was unsure.
"I'm not sure, she can't be in her room. That's too obvious."
Jake suggested.
"She can't be in anyone's room so somewhere else."
They thought about it and jake said.
"Hey, the note did mention cleanse, what other place you can clean something?"
John correctly said.
"Or get cleaning supplies?"
They thought for a moment until jake said.
"Well, there is the showers."
John quickly debunk.
"No, is too wide, and is bright. The note said she's in darkness so it's dark."
Jake nods, understanding as he continue to think until hisao spoke up.
"The janitor closet. There's only three closets I can think of."
They seem rather please with their assumptions but hope they are right, john looks at them.
"Alright, we got our locations, let's go."
"Wait, where should we take the girls after they're safe?"
Jake said as john thought about it and said.
"Take them to the wall near the stairs, and wait okay?"
Jake also said.
"But i don't know where's shizune could be."
They thought about it and kyle said.
"Well, not flexiable, where would you go to be flexiable?"
Jake instandly got an answer.
"The P.E room."
Jake shrug his shoulder with a smirk.
"There's your answer. Any questions?
They shook their heads while kyle disagreeing.
"Good, let's go."
They nod their head and without any objections they head off, wishing each other luck as they head in separate locations.
Not long ago.
In the school where the girls shower room was emi leaving the showers and heading down the hall after finishing.
She walk down the hall, pretty content regardless of the previous disturbance a few days ago. She continued until she heard a noise from a far behind her, she stops, startle by the noise and look back to see nobody. Is strange when there's no one In the halls.
She find the noise suspicious and move on trying to think that was caused by someone in the school.
She was getting close to the corner until she heard footsteps coming close to her, this frighten her since she knows nobody was hear and didn't heard anything else.
She quicken her pace and look back to see nobody, this made her more frighten as she looks forward and saw Lelouch standing there.
She stops and gasp and felt a hard hot in her chest and felt a sharp pain which was brief until she lose consciousness.
In a different part of school, shizune was in the first floor continuing until she saw someone leaning from the corner of the wall from a far. This made her stop, worried of who that could be as she was about to turn back until she saw the person again from a far and couldn't see who it could be. She seem conflicted but know that person isn't good, he wouldn't be standing there without a reason unless she knows him.
She was going to turn and walk away quickly until suddenly her glassed fly off from her face which made her vision a bit blurry, this scared her as she gasp quietly and made her heart race.
She knows she's in danger and had two choices: Look for her glasses or leave. One of the options were not good but she went and look for her glasses on the ground, crawling on her knees and look frantically for it.
She keep searching on the ground, getting desperate as she looks up and see a blurry figure coming to her from a far as she quickly look around and soon felt it.
She put it on, grateful it wasn't crack and see that no one else was there, this confuse her and made her relieved but worried.
Her heart was racing a bit as she got up and turn around and walk until she bumped into Lelouch. She gasp quietly and back away and felt a hurtful force in her chest as she flew back and land on the ground. Her vision blur again which turns dark, she was unconscious as Lelouch went and grab her and carry her over his shoulder and down the hallway.
In another part of the school, hanako was walking down the hallway on the second floor, she seem alone which made her uneasy, it makes her regret going on without anyone by her side.
She continued on until she heard footsteps coming as she looks back and saw nobody, she finds it odd and turned forward only to to notice she was back down the hall where she was.
She gasped, confused and look back and forth fast to realize she's right. She moved on quickly and went down the hall only to see Lelouch walking around the corner and look at her, she stops abruptly, frighten that it was him.
"L-lelouch!"
She backs away, shaking as he come closer in which she turns and ran but didn't get far when she notice the hall cuts differently in which made her lose balance and fall.
She fell on her front as she attempts to get up, her legs hurt a bit as she was almost up until she felt his arm wrap around her waist, she yelped and struggled only to feel a forced pain in her chest in which she felt lifeless and went unconscious.
In another part in school.
Lilly was tapping on the ground, walking down the hallway as she didn't hear any sounds in the hall. She came in school a little late but what happened a few days ago seem understandable.
She walk down the hall and heard footsteps from a far. It came closer and she decided to greet whoever this was.
"Hello."
She turns to whoever this is only to be met with silence, this perplexed her as she couldn't hear anything else. She called out again.
"Uhm, hello? Who are you? Why you don't respond?"
She waited for an answer only to be met with silence, this concern her but hoped this wasn't a prank. She then heard footsteps coming from behind as she turns around and said.
"Huh? Is someone else there?"
She waited for an answer only to be met with silence again, this started to worry her as she gripped her handle.
"I know you're there, don't be quiet."
She try to be assertive but wasn't showing it well, she tap on the floor and slowly went forward as her movement was slow, but she started to hesitate; How should she knows if this is someone bad, the stand user has been dealt with, there shouldn't be another one, right?
She continued as her taps were short as she reach around her cane to see if she can tap them but felt nothing.
She continued until suddenly an arm wrap around her waist which made her yelped frighten as another hand went and covered her mouth. She try yelling but only muffled noises was heard, she heard a male voice that sounds familiar.
"Quiet lilly, I don't want to hurt you honestly. You're more interesting than most girls I have met here. And quite possibly the hottest."
She knows this person, it was Lelouch as she started to moved and try to shake his grip from him but he held her tight. His arm was slowly reaching up her right waist.
"Mmm, you feel so soft, I bet you feel much better without your clothes."
This made her mad and upset as she look at her cane and quickly moved and lift her cane up and smack his head with her cane rod which made him swing his head back slightly, grunting briefly in pain. Lilly then step on his leg as he yelped in which made him lose his grips as she struggled and get away from his arms and stumbling off and runs away.
Lelouch clinch in pain and anger as he see her run off, he then said.
"Maybe you think that you can hide, I can smell your sense for miles!"
Lilly ran, not caring of where she's going since her own footsteps echoes enough for her to know where she is in the halls. She turns a corner and move on, not knowing that Lelouch was close. She keep going until she felt like something pulled her back or she ended up somewhere she wasn't expecting in which made her lose balance and fell.
She landed on her front as she grunt in pain as her cane slide away from her. She attempt to get up only to be forcefully turned as she pleaded.
"No no-!"
She felt a hard painful force on her chest and soon she went unconscious.
The boys went their separate ways as kyle ran off to the track field, he see nobody on the field and search for a shelter. He look around frantically while hurrying, he started to have problems breathing due to his panic and asthma acting up as he used his stand to breath in air.
He continue and eventually see the shelter and hurried to it, once he was close he called out to emi.
"Emi, are you here?!"
He open the door and looked inside, it was quite dark as he look around and notice emi near a shelve, wrapped around a rope with a tape on her mouth.
Kyle head to her as emi seem relieved but still had a startle expression.
"Emi, thank goodness."
He was close to her until a large box suddenly moved off the shelf and was going to crush them, kyle saw this and his eyes widen, shocked as he summon his stand without realizing as the box was close to him but suddenly it bounce right over and behind him. Kyle saw a translucent energy of air particulars blocked the box and made it bounce away, he looks back, puzzle and confused.
He try to make sense of that since he didn't do that, so he knows but he ignored it and turns his attention to emi.
"Emi, are you alright?"
He gently pulled the tape from her mouth as she spoke.
"Kyle, thank goodness your here."
She was relieved to see him as kyle felt the same, he went and untie the rope around her.
"I'm glad your safe emi."
She went and hugged him tight, he was almost surprised by this and hugged her back, what he wasn't expecting was a kissed on his lips afterwards. She stay like that for a second until separating. Kyle was shocked which turns slightly happy, she smiled the same way with a little firth.
"What was that for?"
Kyle asked, she responded.
"What? I have to reward my savior somehow."
She smiled slyly as brad smiled wide, finding that humorous as he realize the situation.
"Right, we have to go. Emi, who did this? Did you see who done this?"
She nod her head, looking upset.
"Yeah, I have. It was Lelouch."
This shocked him in which made him mad.
"Lelouch?! That son of a bitch is still here?!"
He was frustrated and look at the door and back to her.
"That Bastard kidnapped the other girls, my friends are separated, going after the ones they care for."
She was surprise to hear this, finding this unbelieving but made her hate him more.
"That slimy- Kyle, I want you to hurt him bad when you get the chance!"
He nod his head, having a faint smirk.
"I will, come on, let's get to the others."
He went and put on her legs but she straps it on as they quickly head off, emi asked.
"Kyle, where are we going?"
"We- We will see if they found the others, if not then we will stay where the wall is."
She nods and agree with this.
Meanwhile.
Jake ran to the gymnasium as he head up the walkway and into the building, he was in the entrance, looking for her and head to the doors that leads into the main gym. He open the door, and yelled out her name and saw her tie up in the middle of the room.
Jake was relieved and head to her.
"There you are..."
Jake said quietly as he head to her and noticed her shocked expression and her moving her head like she's indicating something. This confuse him as without warning he was hit by something large and fast, jake glance back while being dragged by a big exercise crate, he used his ability and stopped the friction from the box in which send him flying off and landed on the ground, rolling and stopping on his front, near shizune.
He groan discomforted as she was very concerned for him as he slowly got up, unharmed but his body ache from the impact. Shizune was relieved a bit as he lift himself up, and look at her.
"Shizune..."
He went to her side and was going to unwrap the ropes until he notice another crate heading to them from the left side of the room, jake stops and got up, ignoring any pain he felt and summon his stand and went a feet away from her and stopped the crate friction as it halted.
He was relieved and turned around to see her looking at him, slightly relieved as he was but jake saw another one coming towards them.
He reacted properly and head around her as jake stopped it as well, he sighed in relief and turns back to her, feeling a bit tired from this and went to untie her but felt suspicious of the three attempts to harm them. He look at each direction and didn't see a fourth one, he look up for some reason and saw one falling down right on top of them, jake instinct kicks in, mostly out of plain shock as he summon his stand, grab shizune and loosen the friction right underneath them as he kicked the floor, sliding the both of them away from the crate that crashed where they were before.
Shizune wasn't expecting this, if she could yell she would, but only muffled noises of distress came out as they were at safe distance from the crash as he was at where friction was stable and sit upwards, and look at where the mess was.
He was relieved once again and quickly untie her, once the ropes were off she sit up and hugged him, jake was surprise by this and hugged her in return, his hands on her waist as they stood there for a bit before she backs off and start signing.
"Jake, I'm so happy you save me. I thought I was not going make it. I knew you would come."
She had a weak smile as she looked almost teary, jake was glad she was safe too.
"Of course I would come, I would not let anything happen to you. I'm you're safe now."
She smiled a bit more brighter as jake smile soon faded.
"Shizune, who did this?"
This got rid of her smile as she was upset.
"It was Lelouch, he did this. He tie me up and set you up."
She look understandably mad as jake was also the same.
"He will pay, but my friends are getting their friends as well. He kidnapped the girls as well and they are separated. We need to go, we'll deal with him later."
She seem understanding besides the frown on her face.
"Alright, you hurt him for me, okay?"
He had a smirk on his face.
"Of course."
She smiled satisfied by his comment and she stood up, jake follows as they head off together out of the gym and head to the wall.
Meanwhile.
Hisao was heading down the halls in a hurry, he was getting close to the nearest janitor closet that he knows inside the school. He slow down once he was close to the closet, his heart was beating fast which was a bad thing. He cursed quietly, finding this not a good time for this, he needs to save hanako, he doesn't know if she's in pain or not.
His heart calm down as he grab the handle and open the door, thankfully it was unlocked which means she's inside of the room.
He open it and saw it was dark besides a light shining a human silhouette, it moved as he heard muffled noises in which gave hisao the idea that it was hanako.
"Hanako? Oh thank God you're okay!"
He went in as the door close behind him, he reach for the light switch and flick it, only for no lights shining in the room. He had to go around a long shelf as he said.
"Don't worry hanako, I'm coming."
He was going to go around the shelf only to step on something round in which made him slip and fell on the ground.
He yelled cut abruptly as he landed on the ground, grunting in pain as he try to get back up, finding that annoying as he hurt his right leg and elbow. He walk around, making sure he's more careful as he was around the shelf, a hard blunt object hit his head in which made him stumble around.
He held onto his head, groaning in pain while rubbing it, and saw it was a rubber hammer, his head stings and comment on it.
"What the hell? Is somebody...?"
He looks around the room, and didn't see anyone else in here but was cautious about his surroundings.
He turns to hanako who was muffling noises that was soft, he went to her only to hear movement and at the corner of his eyes he saw the shelf was falling right on top of him as he yelped and quickly jumped out of the way, barely avoiding it but his lower leg got caught by it.
He yell in pain, as he grudgingly move his leg to get it out from the shelf as he reached and lift it up barely and slide his leg out and let it fall back down.
"Damnit!"
He grunted and groan in pain and upset as he turns his attention to her, and muffled again, it sounded sadden as he gain the strength to get up and give his attention to her and feel her face to find the tape.
"Hanako, is that you?"
He found it and take it off, a little less gently but enough to make it painless as he heard her voice.
"Hisao! I'm glad you came to save me!"
She was happy and relieved to see him, he smiled and was content that it was her, he can barely see her as he went and untie her.
"I'm glad you're safe too."
"Hisao, are you alright? You got hurt pretty bad too."
He was quiet, unsure of his answer but said.
"I'll be fine, is you that I'm more worried about."
This made her heart flutter and sank at the same time, she find that endearing but made her concerned.
"Hisao, that's so sweet of you to say, but I'm fine. You gotten hurt and you should get some treatment for your pain."
Hisao was almost finished getting the rope untie and looks at her, finding that so nice to hear. He got it untied as it falls off as he get it over her, she turns and hugged him in which made him grunt in pain as she let go, startle by his reaction.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I'm just, so happy you freed me."
"R-right, is okay. I appreciate your gesture though..."
He looks at her, her left bangs coving her brunt marks but was obscure by the shadow as the lights shine on her clear face, he smiled knowing she's fine as she smiled back.
She reach close and kissed him as he felt happy, she seem bothered soon after.
"Hisao, we should get out of here."
He realize where they're at and their situation.
"Right, we should."
He find it hard to get up due to the pain as she helped him up, the duo soon leave as hanako explained what happened as they head back to the wall.
Meanwhile.
John was running down the hallway, not caring that class is session as he notice a rod on the ground, he slow down his pace and looked at it. He knee down and grab it, realizing is Lilly's cane as he was worried, he need to give this back to her, hopefully she's unharmed but he doesn't know.
He unfolded the cane, and put it away then took off in his wind ability and was at the stairwell and climb up the stairs until he's at the rooftop door.
He breathe quickly and anxious as he open the door quickly and see them, further down the roof near the middle. Lelouch was with lilly, tied up near the left side as she said.
"J-john!?"
Lelouch smiled smugly which upset john more as he heads to them with fury.
"Lelouch!"
He took a step forward.
"John, just the man I was waiting for."
John soon stops and glare at him.
"Lelouch let lilly go."
He didn't sway his amused look and moved.
"Oh I can't do this, she's going to be with me, like it or not. If she wants to survive."
This frighten her as john was more upset at him.
"You hurt her..."
"Don't even try john, if you make a move then my attention is on her. Lilly will be with me, john."
John seem puzzled a bit by this.
"Why are you going after her, and the others? Why not deal it differently?"
He moved around her until he was at her side, he seem oddly relaxed like he's in control.
"Oh you would like that don't you? I seen what you and your friends do. You really think I can deal with the both of you? No, I rather take you out, one by one."
John was startle by this info.
"What? What do do mean?"
He still had that smug on his face, lilly knows he's on her right and looked concerned.
"You're friends went to save them, but I set up traps for them. My ability seems to break reality or break space to me or push it back, fixing it or breaking it if you would. I learned a thing or two and realize I can freeze objects, movements and have it trigger when a certain area have been touched, it goes off without my doing. It's certainly cool that something like that is something I can do. But your friends will be caught by it."
This made john paled, he realize that his friends could be hurt or worst, lilly was appalled by this.
"H-hanako..."
John clinch his teeth, getting fed up with him as Lelouch said.
"You boys think you can do anything, have girlfriends and just be better than anyone else, I say you boys need a reminder that you aren't the only one."
He summon his stand and punched the air right next to lilly as she flew off to the left side near the edge of the roof, smacking against a chain fence as she yelled which was cut by hitting the fence.
John was shocked as he was furious, he summon his stand as it had the same expression as he has.
"Lelouch!"
He was ready to charge at him as Lelouch had a sadistic smile.
"Come on john, there's only one person who can have her, show me if you're a lover, or a fighter!"
His stand threw a punch right at john as he moved out of the way quick as large amount of pebbles flew off as Lelouch threw another punch which john was, but he moved left using his wind ability.
He threw another one as john quickly took off and manifest back to solid form and punched Lelouch in the face as he flew back a feet and landed on the ground. He looked at him, angered as he stood up, john went at him with his stand ready to throw another punch as he backed away, then toss a punch at john, he barely dodge that as the punch was right next to his head as he felt the force pulling reality like wind.
John dodges his attacks as john punch him when he was opened and hit him multiple times before one last hit send him skeeting back, he wasn't down yet as he punch below and aimed at John's right leg. This made john leg flew up forward as he fell on the ground, basically pulled his leg as john wasn't expecting this.
Lelouch went up to him as he attempted to punch his face as he moved right, his stand punched the ground, breaking the ground as he try again as john roll left as he changes his element to stone and create a long narrow pillar right into his face which send him flying back.
John got up as the pillar collapse into rubble as Lelouch whip off some blood from his lips, he clinch his teeth and fist and stood up and threw a right hook punch that curve right through reality. He threw more punches at john as he dodges it, and was feeling a bit overwhelmed by his punches as john was caught by a pulled as he flew off and been hit by his fist right into his guts as he flew off a feet.
John grunted, holding on to his lower waist, feeling it separated as he tried to ignore it but it was difficult. Lelouch looked almost pleased.
"What's the matter? You lost your heat?"
John gain the strength to get up, used his electric ability and send a light electric strike at him which send him flying back. This repair his separated guts like it glue back together.
John was relieved and look at him, on the ground grunting in pain as he looked at him with disdain and anger. He attempt to get up as john head to him, stand ready as Lelouch got up soon right where john stands and was ready to punch but Lelouch blocked it with his stand, then he punched john's stand in his left side, separating his hip bone.
John grunt in pain and fell, Lelouch took this as his opportunity to strike again but john turned into water as Lelouch punched the ground. John puddle slide on the ground as Lelouch follows it but unsure on how to deal with water, then a spray of water went and hit him in his eye, making him yelped and cover his eyes. John figure that would rearrange his hips but it didn't as he turns to solid form, he yelped as well as Lelouch notice him and went forward and attempted to punch him.
John was still in pain from his hip and notice the fist coming towards him as he couldn't do much but guard it with his arm, taking the hit which hurt john a lot, it make him yelped in pain which got a reaction from lilly.
"John!"
John fell again, feeling his right arm separated which felt like it broke unnaturally. Lelouch glance at lilly and had a faint smirk like he's enjoying this, which made john hated him. Lelouch ready his stand to punch him as john, sweat, thinking on his next move while not having an answer.
Lelouch stand punch john's left arm as john used his stone ability and turns it into stone, this made his arm fly off as Lelouch notice this and looked and got a fist at his face, the stone arm flew right into his face controlled by john's stone manipulation.
Lelouch flew back and on the ground, staggered as john felt his separated parts reattach as he felt the pain dyed down, he got up now ready to lay down a beating on him as he used his stone ability and have the stones lift him up as john's stand punched his face with a hook. He swing his head from the punched and stagger back as john punched his guts, and then he pull his fist back, yelling out in a fleury way have his stand punch him multiple times, fast as the eyes can't see for 2 seconds with one last hook punch which made him spin, backing away unconsciously as john stand displaced and john went and punch him personally which made him fly back to the ground.
Lelouch cough up blood, grunting in pain as he can barely able to get up, he attempted to as john glare at him with discontent. Lelouch looked at him and clinch his teeth, his face did the same out of anger and pain as he managed to get up, barely standing up as john summon his stand as he summon his. Lelouch stand looks a bit cracked and his lower half wasn't visible like it can't fully manifest itself, they stood there ground, waiting for one to make a move like a western dual.
Lelouch stand moved, he yelled ready to strike as john stand quickly manifest a large brick right in front of him as Lelouch punched the air, realizing his mistake as john moved away as the brick flew off, hitting him in the face in fast speed as blood flew from him as he fell, skeeting across the ground.
The brick crumble as he lay on the ground, motionless as lots of blood bleed from his nose, john didn't felt an ounce of remorse for what he did, but he did hoped he didn't killed him. John heard lilly voice of concerns.
"J-john?"
He looks at her and realize she's still tied up and head to her.
"Lilly."
She sighed in relief as her face expressed her feelings.
"John, I'm so glad you're okay!"
John untied her ropes.
"Yeah, same here."
Lilly was free from the rope as she was happy but also sadden a bit.
"John, thank you for saving me, but. I'm sorry for getting you into this, I hope you're not too hurt."
John was astonished by her concerns which made it endearing for him, he smiled and reassured her.
"Lilly, is fine. I risk myself for you to be safe, is what i do anyway."
Lilly seem a bit relieved, she reach her hand to her right and turns herself to him and hugged him. John wasn't expecting this and hug her in return, finding this moment bittersweet in a way.
They held onto each other as both of them finding this, wrong in a way as she separate herself from him, john see her sadden expression as john said.
"Lilly?"
She couldn't see, but she still wasn't looking at him but he knows she didn't want to look straight at him.
"John, I don't want to be a part of your life if you're already committed to someone else."
John was already sadden by this, but didn't want to say something.
"Lilly, I understand. I want to stay as, friends as well."
She seem slight content but mixed about it.
"Lilly, we gotta go. My friends, I need to see if they're alright. Plus, Lelouch is badly injured and I don't want to kill him."
She realize what's happening and felt slight embarrassed by her own concerns.
"Right, we should get going."
John help her up and turn around, only to remember to give her something.
"Oh right, I almost forgot about this."
He pulled out her walking stick and gave it to her, she realized what it is and gasp softly.
"Oh, my walking stick. Thank you john."
She unfolded it as john went to her side and grab hold of her hands, this made her heart warm but she was sadden by this.
John went with her as he glance at Lelouch unconscious body as he cringe slightly from the state and head downstairs and outside.
The walk down was quiet, john was grateful that she's alright but showing affection is not the moment, she was willing to say something but kept quiet.
They were outside now, heading to the wall as john hoped he'll see his friends there and thankfully he did. They saw the two and were happy to see them.
"Hey!"
John smiled as lilly was the same.
"Hey, you guys alright."
They went downstairs as hanako was glad to see them.
"Lilly, john, I'm so relieved you're okay."
"We all are."
Kyle said as the rest agreed, shizune was signing as jake noticed it as john said.
"Shizune said she's glad we're doing good too."
Lilly smiled, finding that nice to know.
"Well, tell shizune that I'm happy that she's fine as well."
Jake translated to her as she smiled happily, and sign to john.
"She said thank you."
They suddenly heard a female voice.
"There you are! Been looking all over for you guys."
Misha was glad but looked relieved to see then and was looking at shizune, she went to Misha and told her what happened. John decided to tell them what happened.
"Guys, when I was saving lilly, Lelouch was waiting for me to show at the roof, and then he fought me."
Emi and hanako gasped, kyle looked surprise to hear this as john translated it to jake, who soon told shizune about it as well. Misha look quite surprise but puzzled.
"Wait, lilly was up on the roof? Why did Lelouch did all of this?"
"The Bastard didn't like us having girlfriends and decided to hurt us because of his reasons. I beat the shit out of him and he's up on the roof, bleeding badly. He's going to need medical attention right now."
John used his stand to tell jake about this and he look slightly unconcerned and a bit annoyed another person need to get to the hospital. Emi spoke up.
"I can get the nurse to get the ambulance here."
"Do it emi, they ain't much time."
Kyle said to her as she nods and start moving back.
"Right, I'll go quick as I can!"
She turns and runs off as the rest explained what they all been through.
Emi soon came back with the nurse who had medical equipments, she was a rather tall female with long hair that goes down to her back and look quite attractive looking. She seem concerned but also tense that another person is badly injured.
"Excuse me, but why is there another injured student is up on the roof?"
They were quiet, the girls don't have the answer, even know shizune should tell her but figure that's complicated that it has stands in the reasons.
"Uh, I found him up there like that. I don't know how he end like that."
She groan upsettingly and didn't have the time to explain and head off in a hurried. Emi stayed behind and told the rest that the ambulance were coming.
The girls were uncomfortable about the whole situation that has happened, jake and shizune were chatting with each other as misha was looking at both of them and feel left out, she finds it difficult to read both conversation.
Kyle and emi were talking to each other about how they dislike Lelouch but soon turns their attention to them.
"Soo, what now?"
Kyle told john as everyone were wondering the same thing, jake soon turns to them, he summon his stand and told john the same thing.
"Well..."
John find it hard to say the words, for once he doesn't want to leave but they have to.
"Our mission here is done, I checked our device and well, we can leave."
The girls besides shizune were shocked to hear this, but knew this was going to happen. Jake soon told her and she was sadden by this, her eyes pleading him to stay.
"Really? You guys have to go?"
Emi said as hanako and hisao looked sad as well.
"You guys really don't belong here?"
John looks at him.
"No, we don't. Our lives here was... I don't know how to phrase it, but it was made up. We weren't aware of our actions so, we really don't know any of you before."
"Really?"
Emi said, kyle look sad but his face tells her that is true.
"It is, we are not from here."
They were quiet but hanako spoke up.
"Even if is true, what you guys did with us was real for us, and right now. I enjoy having all of you as friends."
She smiled, john told jake and smile, kyle couldn't help but crack a smile as well. Lilly felt bittersweet about this.
"Is true, I feel the same. But, they do have other stuff to do, and we can't let them stay."
John said, agreeing to her words.
"She's right, we got lives in our world and friends as well."
Jake told shizune the whole thing and she sign to jake what emi said.
"But will you come back to us?"
John was quiet, the rest were too. Jake looks at them, then at her, she really wants him to say yes. Jake felt his chest snuff up, his eyes were almost heavy but he knows his answers.
"I will. I'll come back, as soon as I can."
He sign it to her, john glance and notice it and that made john almost broke his composer. Shizune was happy to hear this, almost tear up from that.
John came up his answer.
"I don't know, I'm afraid I won't. But, I could if i would."
Lilly was almost distraught by this but accepted this, she can't get in-between john's relationship.
"I understand, we're going to missed you, all of you."
Everyone besides the two were bothered by this, john didn't sit well with this as emi said.
"Well, kyle?"
She looks worried as he looks at her, he look at them.
"Guys, I'll see you at the base. I gotta tell emi something first."
She wasn't expecting this as he left with her, hanako and hisao were uncomfortable about this.
"W-well, we have to go too. Hisao hurt his leg pretty bad and I have to get him to his room to be treated. It has been great meeting you all, and I hope we can see each other again sometime."
Hisao was nearly dumbfounded but realize she wants to leave.
"Right, is great meeting you, I hope you get back safe."
They soon left as jake and shizune were left in the dark and john wasn't assisting in translation.
"What's going on?"
Jake said outloud as john told him with his stand.
"Oh, bye."
He said as the two look at him rather puzzled since jake is deaf, jake told shizune about it and find it strange as well but went with it.
Misha was finding all of this strange and saddening that the boys are leaving.
John looks at lilly who said.
"Well, I must go too, good bye everyone."
John took a step forward.
"Hold on, I want to talk to you before we leave."
Jake went to john and said.
"Hey, I'll meet you at base, I got to say one last words to them."
John nods.
"Alright..."
Jake smile and turns to them as john went to lilly.
"Can we go on one more walk before I leave?"
Lilly was in thought, she finds this too much but want to know what he wants to say.
"Of course."
John smiles and went by her side and hold her hand to guide her, she was tempted to resist his offer but went with it.
Kyle was with emi now leaving the school as he was bothered, she was as well.
"Kyle... Will you see me again?"
He looks at her, she seem bother by this, almost like she wants him to say yes but also don't.
"Emi, I do. But, are you okay with it? I don't know how long it will be."
She look away, not too thrilled about it.
"Honesty kyle, I didn't want to get close to you. Because I lost someone close to me before, but... I. I don't want to lose you too."
She was almost in tears, kyle was so distraught by this and was willing on staying here, but he had his sole duty to uphold and had to leave.
"Emi. I want to stay too, but. I got my family, friends back where I live. But, I want to come back and visit you, as much as I can."
Emi teared up, she went and hugged him as kyle wasn't expecting this.
"Kyle, if you will then come visit me as soon as possible. Can you promise me that?"
She looks at him, gripping his shirt as he had a small smile.
"I will."
She wants to smile but didn't have enough to do it, her face twitch, trying to smile as she sniffed and wipe her tears from her face
"Okay."
She back away but was still close, kyle pull out his device and look at her, he smile was weary but honest.
"Good bye emi. I..."
He find it hard to say it, but emi said.
"I love you..."
Kyle was speechless, his mouth open, both in surprise but also wanted to say anything. He sighed briefly in relief and had a small heartfelt chuckle.
"I love you too."
He backs away, emi giggle Slightly and smiled.
Kyle open a portal and head in as she see him gone with the portal closing, her smile soon faded, hoping to see him again.
Jake was with shizune and misha, he explained what he will do.
"I'm afraid I must go, we have other assignments as well and I might be called too."
Misha heard him saying it and was slightly sadden.
"If you're going then, we'll missed you."
He was upset as well, he look at her who felt the same. She then sign.
"Jake your job is dangerous, how would we know if you're going to come back?"
He was quiet, he didn't have an answer for this.
"You won't, but I will take care of myself. I'm not alone, I have friends who are there with me."
Misha was sad about this, she spoke but her voice was a little quiet.
"Okay... Come back soon."
He looks at her with a confident look.
"I will."
He looks at shizune who wipe a tear from her cheek and went to him and hugged him tight, he hugged her back which rub misha the wrong way but consider on joining but didn't. She was deeply sadden by this as they departed.
"Good bye."
He said and signed as shizune said goodbye as well in translation as jake left, soon creating a portal and leaving.
John and lilly was outside the school campus as they were leaving the school premise, they were quiet which made them uncomfortable. John didn't like the quietness and said.
"Lilly."
He said near upset, this almost made her jump from the sudden voice.
"Yes?"
"Lilly, i... I wanted to say that I enjoyed our time together."
He looks at her and turned to her, she wasn't looking at him but had mixed feelings in her.
"And if I wasn't with someone, I would like for us to stay together. Not right now but, you know. In a relationship."
She was about to say something but left it open, she close her mouth and looked at him, her cloudy blue eyes were sadden.
"You mean it?"
"I do. I understand the other me wanting to be with you. You're a wonderful person lilly, and i... Will missed you."
She close her eyes and look down a bit, she was touched by this as a small tear was coming from her eyes.
"I will too john, but what about your... Girlfriend?"
He was quiet, he wanted to not acknowledge his feelings but said.
"I know I shouldn't be with you, But I, can't, help, falling in love with you."
He smiled dearly, almost have teary eyes as lilly was genuinely surprised to hear this. She smiled weaky as she was a bit happy to hear this.
"I'm happy to hear that. But I don't want to be the one that messed with your relationship. You're with her for a reason, and she loves you too. You shouldn't be with me, which is why, our relationship is over."
John was sadden by this, almost distraught and hurt by this but, nods, understanding that being with her is not a choice.
"I understand, I will missed you too. I hope you stay safe, and say goodbye for everyone for me."
He backs away and turned around, standing there and pulled out his device, and open the portal. Lilly heard an unfamiliar noise and soon footsteps and the noise suddenly vanish.
She was left alone, unaware of what happened and if john is still here.
"John...?"
She waited for an answer, nothing, besides a car driving pass her. Her question look soon changed to a depressed look as a tear escape from her eyes as she closed it.
She grip her cane handle tightly and turn around, relaxing her nerves but was still sad, she tap on the sidewalk and moved on. Heading back to school with slow taps, echoing throughout, keeping her company, knowing she will never meet john again.
