TYING THE TIE
Harry stood in front of the mirror; his brow furrowed in concentration as he held the tie in his hands. With careful movements, he tried to remember the spell Ron had taught him to tie the perfect knot. However, each attempt left the tie tangled and twisted.
Hermione, with a mischievous smile, watched the scene from the door frame. Her brown hair was elegantly tied in a bun, letting two strands of curly hair fall in front, and her eyes shined with affection as she enjoyed the moment. Finally, she couldn't contain herself.
"Do you need help, love?" She asked in a soft amused voice, slowly approaching him. She had been waiting for this moment mischievously, knowing that his tie-tying skills were not exactly remarkable.
Harry let out an exasperated sigh and looked at Hermione, his lips curling into a resigned smile.
"I think I could use a little help, yes."
Hermione gracefully walked over and took the tie from his hands. Her skilful, sure fingers moved deftly as she murmured an incantation under her breath. The tie began to weave and twist itself, forming an elegant knot in a matter of seconds. As she did so, her gaze never left Harry's.
"You should have told me before that you didn't know how to tie a tie" Hermione joked, her fingers finishing the knot with a final touch.
When the knot was perfectly tied, Hermione wrapped her arms around his neck, moving closer to him.
"Ready" She murmured with a soft and sweet voice.
Harry chuckled and gently ran a hand through Hermione's hair.
He was overwhelmed by Hermione's love and closeness. He wrapped his arms around her, feeling the warmth of her body against his. They looked into each other's eyes, sharing an intimate and special moment that only the two of them could understand.
"I admit, I thought I could handle it on my own. But having your help definitely makes everything easier. "Thank you," Harry said sincerely, feeling the emotion in his voice.
Hermione smiled and gently stroked his cheek with her thumb.
"You look handsome, Harry," she said affectionately. "You will be the most handsome man at the wedding."
"Careful, Hermione," Harry joked playfully, "or you might make everyone forget about the bride."
Hermione smiled softly and leaned in to place a tender kiss on his lips.
"I don't care, as long as you're mine," She murmured against his lips.
They both immersed themselves in a sweet and passionate kiss, forgetting about time and the outside world.
As they separated, Harry responded in a soft and sincere voice, while gently holding Hermione in his arms.
"Always, Hermione. I will always be yours," He assured with conviction.
Hermione's gaze was filled with tenderness and emotion upon hearing those words.
"I will always be yours too, Harry," Hermione responded with a radiant smile. "I couldn't imagine my life without you."
"And I couldn't imagine mine without you," Harry confessed. "You're my everything, Hermione. You and Lilly are my reason for being and my happiness."
Hermione slowly approached Harry again, without removing her arms from his neck, melting their lips into a passionate kiss. His heart pounding from the intensity of the moment. They deepened the kiss, their lips moving in perfect synchronization as if they had always been destined to meet that way.
The sound of small footsteps was heard on the doorstep. Both of them, still lost in the sweetness of the moment didn't notice that Lilly had appeared.
The little girl coughed lightly, getting their attention. Harry and Hermione quickly separated. Lilly's playful smile lit up the scene, and laughter escaped Harry and Hermione's lips as they were interrupted.
Their daughter looked at them with an expression of amusement and disgust at the same time.
"Mom, how disgusting!" Lilly exclaimed with a mischievous smile, wrinkling her nose playfully.
Hermione separated from Harry and approached her daughter, trying to hide her blush.
"Lilly, honey, it's not disgusting, it's just that Dad and I were giving each other kisses" She explained tenderly "Actually, it means that Mom and Dad love each other a lot.
Lilly wrinkled her brow in displeasure but then smiled mischievously.
"Oh, I understand. So, can you do it in private? Well, you shouldn't do it in public," she commented in a comical tone, making her parents laugh even more.
Harry approached, playing the role of the complicit father, and crouched down to her level.
"You're right, Princess. Mom and Dad forgot that you have your eyes wide open," he said, winking at his daughter.
Lilly nodded solemnly as if she were the oldest in the room.
"Yes, and I don't want to see you doing dirty things to each other," she added with a theatrical expression.
Harry and Hermione burst into laughter, amused by their little girl's occurrence. They felt grateful to have such a special daughter full of joy.
"Okay, we'll keep that in mind," Hermione replied, kissing Lilly's forehead.
"That's right, Princess. We'll keep that in mind" Harry responded, stroking Lilly's head.
With a loving gesture, Harry took his five-year-old daughter Lilly into his arms. Her face lit up as she felt herself in her father's arms. Harry and Hermione exchange a knowing smile as they head out the door together, to the wedding of their friends, Ron and Luna.
