Standing on the halo deck waiting for their transport Mac can't help but feel a ping of sadness. Although she lost her case as prosecutor, she knows this feeling in the pit of her stomach has nothing to do with the case. But rather with saying good bye to the tall man in his flight suit next to her. Mac takes a step closer to him, placing her hand on the inside of his elbow and running her hand down to his. Once their fingers are linked, she finally looks up at Harm. She can see in the way he is staring at their joined hands that he did not expect this intimate jester. At least, he does not reject her. He is actually holding on to her hand.
"Come back to JAG. We miss you."
"I can't come back to JAG Mac. This is where I need to be."
"Because flying is your first love." Mac immediately feels guilty for the sound of accusation creeping into her voice. She tries to pull her hand free but Harm fastens his grip on hers and pull her to stand In front of him, placing his fee hand on her elbow. "Because I am hoping that flying will finally give me the chance to be with the only one, I love more than flying."
Before Mac can say anything, Harm pulls her into a hug. "I miss you too." He says both officers paying no mind to Brumby standing a step or two from them.
They are ripped back to reality once they hear the voice of Buxton shouting at Harm. "Isn't fraternizing with the enemy treason, old man?" Harm looks up so see the smug look on Buxton's face.
"Well, I have to say when the enemy has an ass like that, even I will be inclined to get to know her better." Buxton says winking.
In a split-second Harm releases Sarah and has Buxton up against the door holding him by his collar. "What did you say?" Harm threatens.
Buxton is laughing. "I said…" Before he can finish his sentence Harm's fist connects with his face breaking his nose. Crew men, spectators to the whole spectacle steps in and pull the two pilots apart.
