Author's note: Continuing with chapter 5. Time for the train job.

Elsa, Arthur, and Anna entered the main cabin where Reverend Swanson was giving John a shot of Morphine. "I thought you was reading him his last rites, now I see you've introduced him to your other passion." Arthur said. "I'll mind you to show me some respect, Mr. Morgan." Reverend said as he put his Morphine syringe away.

"Mind away, Reverend." Reverend turns and leaves. "So, you're still alive?" Elsa asked. "I owe you and Arthur." John said. "Yeah, and you'll pay us. But for the moment, just rest." Arthur said. The main doors opened and Dutch came through. "Fellas, I think it's time for the train."

"You want me to come?" John asked. "You look worse than Uncle could dream of, John." Anna said. "She's right. Look at you." Dutch said. "I was always ugly, Dutch. It's just a scratch." John tried to get up, but Dutch and Elsa hold him back. "Lie still, son."

The door opened again and Jack and Abigail walked inside. "Hi Abigail." Anna said. "Anna." Abigail said. "Jackie." Dutch said.

"The boy wanted to see you, John." Abigail said. Jack kept quiet. "Well, he's seen me now... or what's left of me. And what about you?" John asked. "Guess I was hoping to see a corpse." Abigail remarked. "Bide your time. You'll see plenty of them." John said. "You're a rotten man, John Marston." Abigail said. "He is an idiot, Abigail. We all know it. Now, railway fellas." Dutch, Elsa, Arthur, and Anna step outside.

"Bill, now you ride ahead and set the charge... at the water tower, just before the tunnel." Dutch said. "Ain't a problem." Bill replied. "Why are we doing this? Weather's breaking, we could leave. I-i thought we was lying low." Hosea asked. Bill takes off.

"What do you want from me, Hosea?" Dutch asked. "I just don't want any more folks to die, Dutch." Hosea said. "We're living, Hosea. We're living. Look at me, we're living... even you. But we need money. Everything we have is in Blackwater. You fancy heading back there?" Dutch asked. "No. Listen, Dutch, I ain't trying to undermine you. I just... I just wanna stick to the plan which was to lie low, then head back out West. Now, suddenly we're about to rob a train." Hosea said.

"What choice have we got?" Dutch asked. "Leviticus Cornwalls no joke, Dutch. He's..." Hosea started. "Hey, who the hell is Leviticus Cornwall?" Anna asked. "Yeah, who is he?" Elsa asked too. "He's a big railway magnate, sugar dealer, oil man." Hosea explained. "Well how good for him. Sounds like he has more than enough to share." Dutch said. "Dutch!" Hosea begged.

"Ladies, and gentlemen! It is time to make something of ourselves! Get your horses ready. We have a train to rob!" Dutch yelled. They mount up, and ride out of Colter to rob their score.

"Alright, we're moving out, follow me! Okay, fellas, listen up. All of you. According to the information so kindly provided to us by the O'driscolls, the train will be coming North from Big Valley. We're gonna pick it off as it crosses the border into the Grizzlies. There's a raised spot there that should give us good vantage. Charles, you'll keep lookout for any outriders. How's that hand by the way?" Dutch asked.

"I'll be fine." Charles responded. "Good. Me, Elsa, and Anna will take the driver and engineer, then run point. Lenny and Javier, you two take the front cars, deal with any guards. Arthur and Micah, you head straight for the back. That's what we're after... Mr. Cornwalls private car." Dutch said. "You and me, Morgan." Micah said. "Great." Arthur sighed.

"Have you got a problem with that?" Micah asked. "Not if you keep your head for once." Arthur said. "You worry about yourself." Micah said. "Enough! After Bill blows the tracks, we're gonna need to move fast. Is everyone clear on what they're doing?" Dutch asked. "Always." Anna said. "Yup." Arthur said. "Crystal." Micah said. "Good. Now come on. Let's ride."

They rode throughout the mountain, and eventually the snow started thawing. "Out of the snow, finally." Arthur said. "Feels good, doesn't it? But we need to get this done fast now it's thawing... before anyone gets up here after us." Dutch said.

"Oh, look at all of you. See? This is what I call a crew. My Golden Girls Elsa and Anna. Micah Bell, Charles Smith, Arthur Morgan, Javier Escuella, and what about young Lenny here? Always the first man on his horse." Dutch said. "Just happy we're back at 'em, Dutch." Lenny chuckled. "You sure you're ready for this, kid?" Javier asked. 'Course I'm ready." Lenny said.

"Just stay calm, keep your eye sharp. That goes for all of you, no mistakes. Not again." Dutch said. "So we do this, then we go back to Blackwater to collect?" Micah asked. "Why do you constantly have to ask the same damn question, Micah?" Elsa asked. "That's a lot of damn money to leave sitting for too long." Micah said.

"It would be crazy to go back there now. The place will be swarming with Pinkertons." Charles said. "We go back when I say we go back, and that's the end of it. The money's safe, you'll just have to trust me. And if the O'driscolls are right, there'll be a stack of railroad bonds on this train, good money, once we work put how to cash them. Now everyone shut up and get your mind on the job at hand. Come on." Dutch said.

The gang rode over a hill, and soon stopped at a ridge. "There's the water tower. Hold up here on the ridge."

There was the faint figure of Bill setting up the explosives. Anna rode up next to her adopted dad. "Is Bill there?" He asked. "Yeah, I think he is." Anna said. "You wanna head down? See how he's getting on?" Dutch asked. "Alright." Anna said. She had her horse back up from the others before riding down the trail to where Bill was. "Is everything alright here?" She asked as she dismounted. "I'm okay." Bill said.

"Are you sure." Anna asked. "Of course." Bill said. "Okay, can I help a little bit?" Anna asked. "Alright, go ahead and set up the detonator by those rocks over there." Bill pointed at a wire in a spool. "Okay." Anna said as she grabbed it. "Now just unspool the wire, and then attach it to said detonator." Bill explained like Anna was the dumb one. She rolled her eyes and unspooled the wire and walked to the detonator.

She grabs her knife, and cuts the cord and attaches it to the detonator. "I got it!" She called out. "Alright, that should do it. You head back up to the others, I've got it from here." Bill said.

Anna mounted up and rode back to the gang. She rode up next to Dutch again. "What's going on?" He asked. "Bill said he's got it." Anna said. "I hope he's right. Knowing him..." Elsa trailed off, deciding not to tempt fate with Bill Williamson."Okay, cover your faces. Train should be here any minute." They all put their bandanas on. Soon, the tracks started rumbling, and a train horn blew. "Ladies and gentlemen, it's time. Good luck. You all know what to do." Dutch said. Bill grabbed the plunger. "Here we go." He muttered. As soon as the train passed over the dynamite, Bill pushed the plunger into the detonator. Nothing happens. He pushes it in more before he screams and cursed. "Shit, no! What?! God!"

"Oh, you have gotta be kidding me!" Dutch groaned. "Where did you find that dumbass?" Anna asked. "You said it was fine." Dutch argued. "So it's my fault?" Anna asked. "Come on! We need to get to that train!" Dutch said. He, Elsa, Javier, and Anna dismounted and ran to the other side of the cliff where the train was emerging. They jumped off and landed on the train, but Javier and Elsa fell off. They waved at them to go on.

"Father, help!" Anna shouted. Dutch found her struggling to hold on to the rail of the car, about to fall to her death. He immediately ran to his surrogate daughter, grabbed her hand, and pulled her back up. "I got you!"

As soon as she was up, she asked, "Where are Javier and Elsa?" "They failed to land on the train. The others will get them." Dutch said. "I guess it's just us now." Anna said. They jump off and land on a walkway to the next car. Anna grabbed her knife and stabbed a guard in the neck.

"There's another guard up ahead. What do we do?" She asked. "I'll let you have the honors on this one." Dutch said. Anna crept onto the next car and pushed the guard off. The duo ran to the next car, where there were more guards.

Not seeing any other option, Dutch grabbed his revolvers and shot them dead. Anna did the same. They ran through the train and put down more of Cornwall's guards. When they hit a dead end, Dutch climbed up onto the roof of the next car and helped Anna up.

A guard climbed up on the other end, but Van Der Linde shot him. On the next flat car, two guards shot at them, but Anna managed to kill both of them. They jumped down and ran to the locomotive. Dutch passed a coal container, then a shovel hit him in the face, and the engineer attacked and grappled him. Anna raised her revolver and shot him between the eyes, freeing Dutch. "Thank you." He said.

"You're welcome, Father." Anna said. Dutch ran to the controls of the locomotive and pulled a lever. The train screeched to a stop. The duo climbed out of the train and took cover behind some rocks as more guards came out. "How many morons does this guy have?" Anna asked. "We'll worry about that later, just kill them!" Dutch ordered. They stood up, and shot their way through the chaos, then the rest of the Van Der Linde gang found them, and killed the remaining guards.

"That's right! Pick em off!" Dutch said proud. They dismount when everyone was dead. "Took you long enough." Anna said. "What? No hello?" Micah asked. "I think there is some of them in the last car." Elsa said. "Perfect. What are you boys planning on doing in there? Listen to me, we don't want to kill any of ya... any more of ya. I give you my word, but trust me, we will." Dutch said. "I work for Leviticus Cornwall!" A guard said.

"Come on, boys." Dutch tried. "We got our orders." Another guard shouted. "Okay. You asked for it. 5... 4... 3 2 1!" Dutch said. Nothing happened. "Seems our friends have gone deaf. Wake em up a little." They grab their guns and shoot at the car.

"That's enough! Mr. Williamson, will you give Mr. Morgan and Mr. Smith some dynamite?" Bill gives Arthur and Charles 1 stick of dynamite each.

"Now it don't matter too much to us, but you boys might wanna take a step back." Dutch said to the guards in the car. Arthur and Charles attach the explosives to the side. "Seems good enough. Now light the fuse." The latter said. They light their matches and the fuses start burning. "Unless you got a death wish, I'd step back, fellers." Bill warned. Everyone backed away a little, and the side of the car blew up, and the guards came out with their hands up.

"We don't wanna kill you... we just wanna rob your boss." Dutch said. "Elsa, Micah, Anna get on up there. Search that train."

They enter, and were mesmerized by the design of the car. "Look at this place. It's like a palace." Anna exclaimed. "Now I've seen everything." Micah muttered, a bit impressed.

"You two got the safe? I'll search the rest." Elsa said. They went to work. "Oh, yes. Should be easy as cake. You're just gonna stand there, kid. Pour me some Brandy, will you? I'm parched." Micah fake rasped a little.

"Will you shut up? Me and Father just went through hell on this train." Anna sighed. "I wish I didn't fall off, so I could've helped." Elsa said. "Let's see if we can get this open." Micah said as Elsa found a few letters to Mr. Cornwall. "Come on, come on. Getting there... Aha! There. See? That's how it's done." Micah exclaimed proudly.

But when he looked inside the safe, his happy mood turned sour. "Shit, just a bunch of papers." He groaned. "Did you find any bonds though?" Elsa asked. "I don't think so. Here, make yourself useful, princess. At least we all know you can read." Micah slightly insulted Anna. "Oh, shut up, and give me those." Anna took them and started reading.

Elsa looked into a cabinet at the end of the car, and found a metal box. "I think I found something." She said. She grabbed her gun, and used the handle to break the lock. Elsa opens it up, and finds the bonds there. "I found them." She said. "Good. These were already boring." Anna tossed the papers from the safe aside, and the 3 of them stepped out.

"What did you find?" Dutch asked. "These bonds." Elsa gives him the papers. "Are they worth anything?" She asked. "Oh, sure. Bearer bonds. I think we can sell these pretty easily. Well done." Dutch said.

"Arthur, would you get rid of all this?" He asked Morgan. "The train?" He asked. "Yeah, get it out of here." Dutch said. "What about them?" Arthur asked. "What do you think?" Dutch asked. "I don't know." Arthur stated. "It's up to you. Kill them, leave them here, take em with you on the train. Just make sure they don't send no folk after us." Dutch said. "Okay." Arthur replied.

"See you back at camp. When you get back, we'll be moving on. The rest of you, let's ride!" Dutch said. They take off, and leave Arthur to decide the fate of the guards.

"So, Papa, how much money do you think we could make from those bonds?" Elsa asked. "I think we can sell these for a thousand dollars, maybe a bit more." Dutch said. "See, Micah? We don't need the money from Blackwater if these bonds can get us enough money." Anna spoke to Mr. Bell. "Don't worry about Blackwater. We just need to stay as far away from there as possible." Dutch said.

Author's note: Sorry if the story isn't very good. But I hope it will be in the future.
