She even became a valuable ally to her brother Hayate and the legendary ninja Ryu Hayabusa, as she was tasked to hunt down her older half-sister Kasumi for running away on a revenge mission.
So, it surprised her that Ryu came to her with a personal task: to kill the one called Nyotengu. Apparently, she was out for revenge in her own right against Ryu killing one of her own years ago. Ryu had much better things to do than to settle a grudge he wasn't a part of. So, he turned to one of his most trusted allies in Ayane to deal with the problem. Ayane, obviously, was eager to accept and hunt down the creature to gain more respect from her clan's elders, searching for weeks on end.
Eventually, she did find Nyo and was ready to do battle. Nyo took one look at her and laughed her would-be opponent off. This insulted Ayane and she rushed into the fight, wanting to prove herself as the Killer Kunoichi.
Nyo decided to "entertain" the young girl and charged in, too. They were ready for a clash the tengu world would be proud of… However, Ayane never anticipated Nyo's opening move would be so… invasive.
Ayane, in her Blossom of Miyama gear, was tackled by the flying Nyotengu, in her regular kimono clothes, as she leapt in the air for her first blow… But when the dust cleared from the crash, Ayane found the tengu's hands groping her covered chest.
