Day 14: December 14th
On Tuesday, Andy found two white boxes stacked on top of each other and tied together with a red bow next to the coffee maker.
He smiled as he heard Sharon singing in the shower from his spot in the kitchen.
One of the many reasons why he loved her.
Andy decided to bring two mugs of piping hot coffee to Sharon's bedroom and set each on a nightstand.
It was only then that he went back to the kitchen and retrieved the two white boxes and brought it back to the bedroom.
He gently pulled the ribbon untied and set it aside.
Then, he opened the first box and dumped its contents on the bed and found that it was a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses.
He put them on the nightstand and went about opening the second box.
When he emptied its contents, he found a pair of aviator style sunglasses came out of the box.
He studied them for a moment before setting them next to the other pair of sunglasses on the nightstand and going to get dressed.
Once he had his suit & tie picked out for the day and he'd gotten dressed, he took a sip of his coffee while unfolding the Ray Ban sunglasses and looked at himself in Sharon's full length mirror.
Meanwhile, Sharon was studying him wordlessly in the doorway in her robe and her hair freshly blow dried.
Andy then tried the aviator style sunglasses on and made finger guns in the mirror.
"Those make you look like you're on an episode of CHIPS or Reno 911. Probably best to save those for outside of work," Sharon offered her opinion.
Andy turned around to face Sharon and said, " I think you're right. Best to stick with the Ray Bans for everyday."
Sharon walked up to Andy and wrapped her arms around his waist before she smiled at him and said, "I know."
"Of course you do. Thank you by the way," Andy told her.
"You're welcome," said Sharon as she smiled up at him and placed a passionate kiss against his lips.
"Your coffee's on your nightstand if you wanna sip it while you get ready," Andy pointed out.
Sharon headed for her nightstand and before taking a sip, told him, "I do. Thank you."
She went into the closet in search of an outfit for the day and settled on a black pantsuit with a light blue blouse as she continued sipping her coffee little by little.
Finally, she went back to the bathroom and put her makeup on, making sure to finish her coffee before putting on her lipstick.
Sharon went out into the kitchen to wash her mug and found Andy sitting at the table eating a bowl of fruit.
Meanwhile, Sharon made a bowl of sliced apples, greek yogurt, and some granola and brought it to the table to sit next to Andy as they ate in companionable silence.
Once they were both finished, Andy took the bowls and washed them off before putting them into the dishwasher and turning it on.
By this point, Sharon had stood up and pushed her chair in, heading towards Andy in the kitchen and wrapping her arms around him from behind.
"We're matching again," Sharon pointed out.
"Damn! We did it again?" asked Andy.
"I'm afraid so," Sharon told him.
"I could go change," offered Andy.
"As much as I'd enjoy that show, we're about to be late," said Sharon.
"Alright," replied Andy as he grabbed his keys and wallet off the countertop while Sharon grabbed her purse.
As they were walking out the door, Sharon locked the door behind them and said, "I kinda like this whole color coordination thing we've got going on," admitted Sharon.
"I know, but people are gonna start noticing," said Andy.
"Afraid of ruining your reputation as a smartass?" asked Sharon teasingly as they reached the elevator and Andy pushed the button and the doors opened a few seconds later.
Andy just smiled before he said, "No. It's just that Provenza & the guys already think I'm whipped."
"Oh really. I'd love to see how whipped Louie is with Patrice then," said Sharon.
"You schooling him about that would make my day. I'll talk to him about a double date situation in the new year," said Andy.
"You know me so well," Sharon smiled at him as they stepped onto the elevator together.
"I know," replied Andy.
