"Tilda, I know we agreed to wait at least another year before we got married, more so that your father can easily afford the trip since it's expensive to travel from here to England and vice versa and he did just visit recently but I was thinking..."

"That we get married sooner so that hopefully Snarchkoff is there to witness it?"

"Yes"

"I agree, I know that Ali will do everything he can to extend Snarchkoff's life, but Snarchkoff might not last a year even with help, so all we have to do now is decide when it's happening and then I'll ring up daddy and tell him about the change of plans and why"

"And I'll tell my parents as well, and ask them to keep it a secret from Snarchkoff so that he can get a nice surprise this year besides his birthday party that we've been planning for almost two years now"

"His birthday...do you think he'll even make it that far Farhat? I mean..."

"I hope so, but for now when should we get married?"

Ultimately the two agreed to get married in three months and they then informed Farhat's parents and Tilda's father about the change of plans and why and all three parents were happy to go along with the change understanding that Snarchkoff truly did deserve to see his prince get married if at all possible. And so it was that three months later with Snarchkoff none the wiser Tilda and Farhat would get married in a small ceremony instead of the grand ceremony that had been undergoing planning since shortly before it was discovered that Snarchkoff was dying

"Congratulations on your marriage and I hope you long and happy one, and am happy I am here to see it, am also surprised it happened now though"

Tilda hugs Snarchkoff before speaking up

"We did it for you Snarchkoff, you deserved to see us married considering what you sacrificed to allow Egokhan to be defeated"

"I do little to help in end"

Farhat though shakes his head before speaking up himself

"No, you did so much more then we can tell"

As it would turn out the two timed their wedding almost too perfectly because only a week later, as the doctor predicted Snarchkoff would suffer a major heart attack that he would only survive thanks to the fact that he took one of Ali's special potions daily, but it was a close call and the doctor told the royal family as much since Snarchkoff had signed paperwork shortly after his diagnosis giving the doctors permission to discuss his health with the royal family if he was unable to speak to them himself

"To be honest your majesties, your highness's that he survived that heart attack is a miracle, he's currently on life support and we'll keep an eye on him over the next few days to see if he improves any but...I think it's time you started preparing to say your goodbye's because I highly doubt he'll survive another attack like this one if it happens too soon after this attack"

The royal family would rotate staying by Snarchkoff's bedside in the hopes that he would awaken at least once to give them a sign that he was still with them, and their hopes were answered during Tilda's turn only hours later, shortly after being allowed to breath on his own instead of with the help of a ventilator

"Your highness, princess Tilda"

"Snarchkoff, you're awake"

"What...happened?"

"You...you suffered a heart attack during a meeting with Farhat's father and the Prime Minister of Japan due to a business aspect"

"I suffer attack?"

"Yes"

Tilda then thinks back to a few hours earlier

Hours earlier

Tilda was in the kitchens with Ben helping prepare lunch for the meeting when suddenly there was a lot of yelling and commotion

"What happened?"

"Tilda, make sure that the paramedics have clear access to this room and that no one is witness"

"To what father?"

"Snarchkoff being taken to the hospital, he just suffered a heart attack, we brought him back and he's currently alive but..."

"Understood"

Once at the hospital Farhat's father goes into further detail then what he'd already given Tilda

"Things were going well, we were discussing some minor contract issues that needed to be resolved hopefully before we ate and forgot what we were discussing when suddenly Snarchkoff clutched his chest and started to sweat and breath heavily. When I asked him what was wrong he said that he felt that he couldn't breath very good and that his chest was painful right before he collapsed and didn't have a pulse. The Prime Minister was the one to sound the alarm to the staff since I was too busy trying to bring Snarchkoff back to us, with success but it was a close thing"

"Then as the doctors fear he suffered a heart attack, quite possibly a major one"

"Indeed, all we can do now is wait and see what the doctor says though since our suspicions might be wrong"

However their suspicions would be proven right that Snarchkoff had suffered a major heart attack and was currently in critical condition

"I see...please send for doctor"

The doctor soon arrived and repeated what Tilda had told him just moments ago, but adding just how precarious his situation truly was health wise

"The next major attack will kill you if it happens before you've regained even a little bit of strength and though we haven't told the royal family yet, you've already suffered a minor attack once while all of them were away from your room only minutes before princess Tilda came"

"That attack was warning yes?"

"Yes, it means that your heart is no longer strong enough to sustain your life and if you were on the transplant list you would be bumped up to highest priority because of your health and not your rank"

"If that is case then I am leaving hospital as soon as you have paperwork finalized"

The doctor started to speak up as if to protest but stopped themselves and actually thought about the request and soon realized why Snarchkoff was making it

"You wish to die at home then, surrounded by those who call you family"

"Yes"

"Give me fifteen minutes to get the paperwork ready then and you can tell the princess that you're being discharged earlier then what I told them you would be since I told them that you were going to be staying a few days for monitoring purposes"

"Will do"

An hour later and Snarchkoff was back at the palace, which he had moved to when he had first become ill at the King's insistence, and this was after fighting the King on this decision for almost a year before he got the initial illness, and in his room and that's when he told the royal family about how his time with them was now limited and why he was being discharged earlier then expected

"Doctors say I will not survive next major attack, which could come at any time since I suffer minor attack before Tilda enter room earlier"

"I...I see, Ali...is there...well you know..."

"I...yeah I can create something that will allow Snarchkoff to simply die peacefully in his sleep, it will take about an hour to make and then after he takes it he'll simply go to sleep and remain that ways until he passes on"

"No, no more potions or medicines that take away awareness, even if death is painful I want to remain awake and aware of my final moments with you"

"Very well, we'll respect your wishes"

The group was simply silent when suddenly Snarchkoff was laughing

"What's so funny?"

"Remember when Egokhan turn into sun to burn you prince Farhat?"

"I remember"

"Same, daddy ultimately saved the day even if he should have left Ali's potions alone"

"Well, Egokhan, and until now you, not know that I not use premium oil as promised, instead I give him oil mixed with water to keep him from burning as hot as he could have"

"And he never found out about the water until all I did was give him water, oh that was a brilliant, if dangerous move on your part Snarchkoff, I can't believe you actually dared to do that move, especially since we knew you wouldn't have many chances to help"

"I decided worth risk to keep you alive"

"Thanks Snarchkoff"

"Still, how did you do it?"

"I ask workers to mix water into oil from the start and when demon say it taste off and not as good as normal oil I ask workers to use bare minimum water for diluting purposes in hopes demon not catch on to clever plan"

"Which he ultimately didn't, though we still needed daddy to come rescue us"

"By the way, I always wonder why keep Tilda's father from knowing I am double agent working for you guys in reality? Nigel not happy to see me for long time because him not know truth"

"Safety reasons Snarchkoff, we all agreed that Mr. Swanson was at least a little safer not knowing the truth about the fact that you were a double agent and not truly working for Egokhan, at least not since we freed you from Egokhan's control that is"

"I see, smart idea for Tilda's father, not so healthy for me for bit"

"At least daddy believed us about what was going on quickly enough and forgave you"

"That is true, but still wish he had known truth before punching happened"

"I didn't get a chance to tell daddy, as soon as I told him that Egokhan was defeated he said he'd be here right away and hung up before I could tell him about you and your true role in the whole matter, and since none of us were the ones who picked him up we didn't have a chance to tell him in the car which would have been our last opportunity for daddy to learn the truth about you before seeing you again in person after the last time he saw you"

"True enough, maybe we should have thought of that though and made sure Ben was picking Mr. Swanson up even if we didn't have his flight information due to how fast he left England"

"Yes we should have, but what's done is done"

"Indeed, I apologize to Tilda's father and after explanation he forgive me, though I also be doing some groveling for some of what I did to daughter stress wise"

"By the way, I've been wondering something, how did you guys ultimately handle the suit of armor when I did the turnabout gig to make it challenge Egokhan and you instead of Farhat?"

"Eventually demon undo spell that started whole situation in first place since destroying armor not end the challenge"

"How long did that take anyways?"

"Nearly one week, it very annoying in the meantime"

"I'm sure it was"

And so the group simply spent the time reminiscing about their adventures again and then, when it was dinner time everyone agreed to eat in Snarchkoff's room to continue reminiscing and continue spending what time was left to them with Snarchkoff until bed time. And it was during dinner that it would happen, Snarchkoff was barely eating anything in the first place when suddenly right before he took a bite of food he was grabbing his chest in obvious pain and his breathing became labored, and that meant he was suffering another heart attack. Farhat, being the closest to Snarchkoff at the time helped Snarchkoff lie down flat on his back and simply held his hand

"I'm here Snarchkoff, all of us are right by your side"

"Thank...you...my...prince...it was...an honor...serving you all...I hope...I hope..."

Before Snarchkoff could finish his sentence though he simply let out a small sigh and fell back against the pillows, and after a few moments of Farhat searching for a pulse Farhat simply shook his head and closed Snarchkoff's eyes signaling that Snarchkoff had passed away

"He's finally at peace now"

"Yeah, I just wish..."

"I know son, I know, but at least we got answers as to why he had started to act differently and also had a chance to give him some semblance of freedom and a normal life again before he passed. He knew we didn't blame him for the time he was under Egokhan's control, that will always have to be good enough for us, and though he didn't live long enough to see you actually start your own family, he lived long enough to see the two of you wed, I think...I think he was only holding out for that day son"

"Father?"

Farhat's father sighs before speaking up

"Shortly after we were told about Snarchkoff's condition, Snarchkoff sought a private audience with me and explained more about why he chose not to be put on the transplant list. He then told me that while Ali's potions might keep him alive for the moment he didn't think it would last long enough for your wedding, that the damage was too severe for even Ali to really whip up a miracle. But he also told me that he would try his best to live long enough to see it, to see the two of you get the happiness you deserve and Egokhan's fall finally be true victory against him with the two of you happy. I think he always regretted his actions against you three and wished he didn't have to act as a double agent and thought seeing the two of you happy would help ease that burden"

And then Ben speaks up

"Actually...there's something that not even Ali knows about but I do because I was an unintentional witness that he made me swear secrecy to"

"What Ben?"

"Snarchkoff stopped taking Ali's potions two days ago, in fact he dumped the potions down the sink when I was giving him food, he said...he said that since he had witnessed the marriage of his prince to Tilda that he could die happy and was done fighting his slow but certain death"

"I see"

After a few moments Farhat's father speaks up again

"We shall announce his death in the morning and then...Three days after that time we shall bury him with honor as he deserves to be buried"

"I take some blame for this, I told him that he didn't have to stress so much about missing a day after it accidentally happened once in the early days of my giving him the doses, that the effects would last for three days if we have to stretch the doses out for whatever reason"

"You were just trying to help him Ali, it wasn't your fault"

"Indeed, it was Snarchkoff's decision to stop taking the medicine that was keeping him alive for just a little bit longer, we may never truly know the full story of why he only wanted to last until the wedding but it was his decision and we have to live with it"

Three days after his death was publicly announced Snarchkoff would be given a funeral worthy of a Prime Minister who had served well and faithfully up to their death. Three years later Tilda and Farhat would become parents and share Snarchkoff's story to their children, regularly visiting his grave with the group since the two ultimately had five children together, two sets of twins and one single child pregnancy. And their children actually had a favorite story that they wanted to be told every night, the story of how Snarchkoff revealed to Farhat that he was still only Prince of his kingdom instead of King, though they enjoyed all of Snarchkoff's story from the time he was freed from Egokhan's control and thus a double agent to the point that Egokhan was defeated and Snarchkoff was free in truth
