Jess, Autumn, and Wes gather to hear what Koh has to say. "I've got some bad news, guys. I just heard that Razor got out of jail apparently he earned enough money with his shady company to hire a good lawyer and post bail. He's under some kind of house arrest now, but I'm still worried."
"Me too. A guy like Razor doesn't need to leave the house to cause trouble." said Wes
"Yeah... all he needs is an internet connection." said Jess
"I still can't believe you called the cops on him!" Koh glared at Wes
"It sounds like we woke up a sleeping dragon." Autumn sighed
"I'd rather slay a dragon than deal with Razor." Koh grumbles
Just then, Nishan runs up. "Guys! Guys! I have some terrible news! Come quick!" Nishan leads the group to the school computer lab.
"Take a look someone hacked our grading database look at our grades from last semester! Sakura and I got F in all our subjects!"
"That's ridiculous you both get top grades in the school!!!" Jess explained.
Autumn read her grades. "English F, Chemistry F, PE F, Biology F, Spanish F, Art F. Now I know THAT isn't true. I studied really hard all semester." Autumn exclaimed
"It's not just me I look at all the grade of all the students in the school. Everyone in the school got F!!! This is a nightmare Koh punch me in face."
"Calm down nerd boy I'm not going to do that I'm not completely heartless. This has Razor's fingerprints all over it." Koh grits angrily
"There's got to be a way to restore the data... right?" Jess asked
"It doesn't look that way. Razor must have been pretty thorough. Even the paper copies are missing... he must have had one of his associates pay us a visit and snatch them." said Nishan
"This is bad... really bad. We're still a pretty new school! A mistake like this could cost us our state accreditation." said Jess
"I... may know someone who can help... as long as you don't ask too many questions." said Wes
"What? Who? I mean... where?" Jess asked
"What did I just say? No questions!" Wes glared at Jess "Okay. Follow me... we need to go talk to Sakura."
Jess and Wes track down Sakura outside, where she's playing Hearthstone on her laptop.
"Number one ladder ranking, here I come!" Sakura smiled
"Sakura, we need your help." Wes calls
"Just a second." said Sakura
"Now!" Wes glared
"You just made me misclick! Great. Thanks to you, I just polymorphed my own Ragnoros! What do you want?" Sakura glared
"We're in a crisis, and we need your help. See, someone changed everyone's grades... and we need a backup."
"A... backup? I... have no idea what you're talking about."
"Come on, Sakura... this is for the good of the school!"
"Okay... so maybe... hypothetically I have a friend who made a backup of everyone's grades. But for someone to have such a thing would be a complete betrayal of everyone's trust and privacy."
"Yes it would!" said Jess
"Well, if that's how you feel... then maybe the backup database doesn't exist!" said Sakura
"Uh... what I meant to say was... Your friend owes it to this school! As far as I can remember, this school has been there for your friend whenever she needed us! So I'd assume she'd JUMP at the chance to pay back the favor!" said Jess
"Easy, Jess! I was just joking around. My friend just did this to make sure she stays on top! If it's that important to you, of course I'll... er, SHE will help." Sakura digs into her backpack and pulls out a flash drive. "The files you need should all be on there."
Back in the computer lab...
Jess hand Nishan the hard drive "It really is a perfect backup! This is incredible. Where'd you get this?" Nishan
"From... a friend." said Jess
"Phew. This is a huge relief. It looks like everything is okay!" Nishan sighed in relief
"Not in my book! This was just Razor's warning shot... I'd better go talk some sense into him before he does something even worse." Koh glared
Jess, Koh and Wes arrive at Razor's house and knock on the door, but no one answers. "Come on, Razor! Open up! I know you're in there... you're under house arrest!"
Koh storms back to Jess and Wes. "Typical Razor. He'd rather hide behind his stupid keyboard than face his enemies head-on."
"If I were your enemy, I might want to hide too." said Jess
Koh looks up at the nearby security camera. "I just know Razor is watching every move we make. Actually... I do have one idea for how to get him outside we could REALLY rile him up if Wes and I kissed."
"What?!" Wes exclaimed
"Come on. What's the big deal. You're single, right?" Koh asked
"I'm kinda dating someone." Wes stuttered
"It will be a FAKE kiss.. Like... a play or something. Your girlfriend isn't here." said Koh
"No she's not here I... well... okay. For the sake of the school." Koh grabs Wes's jacket and pulls him in for a kiss. Koh pulls Wes in for a lingering kiss. As Wes pulls back, Razor's door flies open. "I knew you were hooking up with this loser."
Koh rolled her eyes "Whatever. I just wanted to get you outside. We know you hacked the school computers. I'm here to tell you to back off."
"Oh, I'm just getting started. That little prank was only the beginning." said Razor
"What do you want?" Koh asked
"Want? There's nothing I WANT... except revenge." Razor glared
"Come on, Razor. You've gone far enough. We can talk this out." said Koh
"Funny. I never thought you were much of a talker. Bye bye, Koh. By the way... you should probably get back to your school. Looks like it's going to rain." Razor slams the door in Koh's face.
"Huh? Looks like rain? There's not a cloud in the sky." Koh asked in confusion
"I don't like the sound of this." Jess race back to school, where Jess find Julian, soaked through and carrying a load of wet library books!
"Jess! There you are! Quick, we need your help!" Julian panics
"What happened?" Jess asked
"Someone set off the fire sprinklers inside! They're soaking everything! Go get as many people as you can and help us grab stuff from inside, before the water destroys everything!"
Jess gathers all her classmates
"There's no time to lose! A lot of expensive stuff could get ruined!" Jess calls
Jess and all her classmates run inside and start grabbing equipment. Working as a team, her classmates grab most of the equipment and take it outside.
"Good job, everyone! It looks like we managed to save a lot of stuff." Jess smiled
The next day...
"I can't believe how much stuff got ruined... all of my paintings are soaked-through!" Autumn whines
"The police say that someone hacked the school's sprinkler system... but there' no evidence to point to a culprit." said Jess
"Who cares about the evidence! It's obvious who did this!" Koh glared
"I know, I know... this has Razor's name all over it but without any evidence against him, we're still stuck with the bill." Jess sigh
"Razor is going to PAY for this! Not literally, I guess." Koh sigh
"Yeah. In the meantime, it looks like WE have to pay to replace our damaged stuff." Thanks to the money the school is soon as good as new.
"Check it out... fresh carpeting... and brand-new desks!" Payton squeals
"I hope everyone like them... they sure cost enough." said Jess
"I do! Everything's so sparkly! I don't think the school has ever been this clean." Payton squeals
"I can see my reflection in the floor!" Mia smiled seeing her reflection
"Yeah... this feels fancy. Like I'm at the bank or something." Julian smiled
"The bank... that's where our money used to be... before we had to spend it all." said Jess
"Aw... cheer up, Jess. We'll save up more money eventually." Payton smiled
"Okay... I'll admit that I AM loving this new school smell!" Jess smiled
"See? Something positive came out of this whole mess." Autumn smiled
"Are you kidding me? Would you guys stop smiling for ONE second? Don't try to pretend this was anything but a slap in our collective faces! Razor messed with OUR school! Get mad... and get even!" Koh shouted
"Maybe it's better just to let it go, Koh... now that Razor's gotten his revenge, maybe he'll just leave us alone." said Jess
"Maybe that's how a normal person would react a non-psychopath like you or Autumn but Razor is a whole different kind of beast! His two biggest heroes are Bill Gates and Genghis Khan! He'll burn our school to the ground before he backs down!" Koh exclaimed
Just then, Ezra runs in. "Jess! I need your help! I just got some kind of virus on my computer... and it's destroying all of my files! You've got to find a way to help me before it kills all the music I've ever written!"
"Razor..." Koh snarls
"We can fix this... we'll get our best computer experts to help!" Jess and Ezra find Ricky and Tommy in the school's computer lab.
"Jess! It's, uh, great to see you!" Ricky smiled
"We were just... innocently programming... something very... harmless?" Tommy asked
"We were NOT changing the school computers startup sound to the Game of Thrones theme song!" Ricky glared at Tommy
"Uh... right. Actually, I'm just here because I need a favor. Ezra's computer has a nasty virus! Think you can take a look and fix it?" Jess asked
"Why didn't you say so in the first place?" Ricky glared
"Don't you worry. The doctors are in!" said Tommy
A few hours later...
"We've got some good news and some bad news..." said Ricky
"The good news is, we were able to recover MOST of Ezra's music and transfer it to a secure drive." said Tommy
"The bad news is, the virus looks pretty much incurable... and it's spreading all around school!"
Just then, several students run in!
"I need some help! All of my files are being deleted! I can't even go online without getting constant 404 errors!" Payton exclaimed
"My computer is making coughing noises..." Mia exclaimed
"We'll do our best to fix this... but at this point, we may need the virus's author to help." Ricky pointed
"Razor..." Koh grits angrily
"There must be a way to convince Razor to shut down the computer virus! Maybe if we could just sit down and talk..." said Jess
"Sometimes, you can't talk nice to a bully. Sometimes you have to hit him in the gut." said Koh
"I don't think violence is going to fix this!" Jess sighed
"Fine. We won't LITERALLY punch Razor... but we'll definitely hit him where it hurts. My uncle used to be in the army. He said that when the U.S. invaded Panama in the 80s, they blasted music outside of the dictator's house. He surrendered after listening to Van Halen for a week straight." Koh groaned
Koh turns to Ezra. "You're a musician, right? I think it's time we threw a little concert right next to Razor's house."
"Sounds like fun." Ezra smiled. "Time for Rodeo Drive performance."
"Perfect. Now... it's time to start making a list of Razor's least favorite songs!"
