At the habitat which is now revealed as a criminal hideout! The group finds themselves prisoners of the infamous La Sombra whose laugh serves as a mocking reminder of their situation, "Thank you, all of you, for walking right into my trap!" he says as his cronies prevent the older members of the group away from Layla, Gaby, and Miguel.

Luna was angry at the imposter, "How dare you?!" she shouted as she was held back.

"It was easy, see?" playing with his fake mustache, "Eduardo, La Sombra, Eduardo, La Sombra," Put's it on his chin, then head, "Abraham Lincoln, Frida Kahlo. Ha! Easy!"

"Yeah, that's hilarious, La Bozo, but I'm Helga G. Pataki, and I'm not staying! So, if you'll just open the gate, we'll be on our way." The brassy girl states as her path is blocked by two machetes. Olga squeals as she quickly pulls her baby sister away from them.

"You are staying. I went to the trouble to arrange that phony contest and class trip just to lure them here!" He turns to the three four-year-old Madrigals hugging each other for protection.

"Yeah, yeah, I have a question if what you say is true then why do you arrange it for our age group?"

"I randomly gave out the memo to schools that had students with the last name Sanchez and Viola Luna's video revealed Los tres. Originally I had planned to kidnap you and lure them to me but it seems fortune had smile upon me when they tagged along."

Gaby blows a raspberry at La Sombra, and Layla gave him a death glare. Miguel though scared, begs the evil man, "Let our family and friends go. La Monstró!" he asks with glossy eyes.

"Hmm. La Monstró? Not bad, has a nice ring," Miguel glares at him with tears falling, "Miguel, come on, don't be sad. You're my partner, remember? Huh? Luna? Our secret?!"

"Partner?" Zano turns to his sister for an explanation. But Helga beat him to it and asked the Sánchez girl, "...What secret is he talking about?"

Luna tries to explain, "No! I mean, he—"

"Oh, Luna didn't tell you? We planned to go look for their precious Green-eyed people!"

Isa, Mirabel, Camilo, Antonio and Zano gasped, "The Green eyes!" Knowing that La Sombra had stolen a relic from them before but was foiled and vowed revenge.

The students and Olga shared confused looks while asking each other in wonder, "Green-Eyed People?"

Zano narrowed his eyes at the twisted pirate spouting lies to further divide the group. "Don't listen to him! He's been lying to us from the start like the sneaky river leech that he is!" He snarls in La Sombra's direction.

La Sombra calmly snaps his fingers; his goons hit Zano in the back of the neck before he could react, the painful blow forced Zano to kneel. Terrified, everyone cried out in panic for the outspoken teen. The trio is now crying out for their uncle as he struggles and bites La Sombra's henchmen as they try to keep him still.

"Enough!" He ordered his men, holding Zano as he glares at La Sombra hatefully, despite the pain he feels. If looks could kill the river pirate would be dead right now.

Everyone is still scared and screaming afraid they'll be dealt with next which made the River Pirates leader frustrated. "Everyone shut up!" They go quiet, "Now Luna, maybe you should tell your brother what happened, huh? Before someone gets hurt." Looks at Zano kneeling, "More so."

"No! No! He's twisting it all up. I thought maybe if we found the Green Eyes, they could tell me where Miguel's parents are," Luna says as she looks down hating herself for being so stupid to trust him so quickly even if he was disguised as Eduardo.

"Luna, say it ain't so! You weren't helping this jamoke?"

"I knew it! Why didn't you just tell me?" Gerald asks looking hurt.

"I'm sorry, Gerald, I—"

Olga was disappointed at the girl, "You've gone Benedict, Luna! Benedict Arnold was a general who defected to the other side—"

Students and Madrigals: "WE KNOW, OLGA!"

"Sheesh! So, what's so great about these mini-mites, anyway?" Helga asks the River pirate.

"The ancient Green Eyes foretold that three children of the volcano will save them and they believe Miguel and his cousins to be those children."

Mirabel gasped as she shields Antonio, "How would you know that?" Isa holds her back to keep her from moving closer to the bad man.

"I have my ways, of course, especially if it concerns the green eyes. Though everyone in San Lorenzo had heard about three babies being born during an erupting Volcano from that chismoso Eduardo!" He laughs, "Ha! As you can see mija it wasn't that hard to decipher who he was referring to!" He says to the glasses-wearing Madrigal, "For years, I've sought after the mysterious people to get my hands on their even more mysterious Corazón."

Phoebe reading from a Spanish dictionary, "Corazón. Translation: heart."

Camilo says to her, "Perfect a heart for a heartless criminal!" He shouts out for the deranged man to hear. "Makes perfect sense!"

Ignores the yellow-clad teen, and focuses on the small children, "With them by my side, the Green Eyes are sure to show themselves to me," La Sombra motions to the burly guard, who flips a switch.

Antonio gasps, "Mirabel!" She holds him tightly. They see animals locked in awful crates, "As you see, I've made a career of stealing and selling all that is precious in Central America. But one treasure still eludes me: the Corazón."

"Psst!" Curly says to La Sombra, "Do you need an inside man? I can be the camp snitch. Wink."

"CURLY!" Zano shouts at the little weasel boy. "You little fink!"

"Sorry, kid. You are too loco even for us villains."

"HA!" Rhonda exclaims.

Helga yells at Luna, "Great job, bringing us all here for your bogus contest, and instead, you sap! We're all prisoners of some stinking psycho river pirate!"

"Nobody forced you to help us win!" Zano argued, "Save it! Your whole extended family is the reason we were even selected in the first place!" Helga retorted.

Luna tried to explain, "Helga, I—I didn't mean for anyone to get hurt I—"

"Ah, save the speech... and scowl, Luna, they'll be fine," Refers to the three youngest Madrigals, "As for all of you, lock them up! And make sure to chain the muscle heads! They won't stay asleep forever, so get more tranquilizers," his men complied. Then his goons held Zano up by his hair to face La Sombra, "Ah, the Sánchez that bared his fangs at me, I think he'll enjoy spending time with La Bestia!"

Luna gasps, "What? NO!" Zano is pulled away from the group kicking and screaming as the guards drag him to the beast. But he did not make it easy for them. One of the guards screamed in pain, "He bit me!" followed by a kicking sound, "OW! MY NALGAS!" cried the other.

"Probably should have muzzled him first? Oh well! As for the fourth runt! Lock him up with the black cat!" La Sombra orders, as his men took Antonio from Mirabel and Camilo, "NO!" the boy's cousin and brother cried, but the guards' swords prevented them. Isa tried to help them but was held back by a brute. "YOU MONSTERS!"

"Don't worry princesa, he'll be fine unless we forget to feed the cat, so consider your compliance an exchange for his safety, in case you get any... ideas," he says to the three Madrigals, "Your family has been a pain in my side for years, so believe me when I say that I know firsthand how willful and meddlesome you Madrigals can be!" he moves away from them as all three glared at the snake.

"Lock the rest up in there! And put the chosen ones in a separate cell!" The men move Layla, Miguel, and Gabriella to their prison away from their family who look at each other with worry.

Che, following his boss's orders, tells them, and Olga, "You heard the boss. Move it!"

Olga is hurt and follows into the jail, "I can't believe you did this, Che!"

Isa flips her ponytail into his face making him spit out flowers and gain itchy eyes. "Burro!"

As the Guards round them all up, shouting, "¡Muévelo, muévelo! ¡Rapido, rapido!"

All the students say various angry accusations at Luna, all at the same time. Except for Mirabel who hugs her knowing that she didn't mean for any of this to happen. "Mirabel, I swear I didn't know..." gently shushes, "It's all right Luna we all thought he could be trusted," Luna cries into her arms as she mourns what's happened from her brother's horrible fate to the triplets' imprisonment.

Once everyone was inside a guard locked the gate. Making everyone gasp as they are all being watched by men with swords in their hands. Isabela and Mirabel rushed to an unconscious Luísa, to see if she was all right.

Olga crying over Che's betrayal Mirabel gives Isa a look to comfort her, "It's okay Olga, we're going to beat him to a bloody pulp when we get out of here," She says as the older Pataki girl wails in her arms making the Phyto kinetic Madrigal cringe at her ugly cries.

"If we get out of here?" Camilo says worried for his little brother as he tries to wake Chico up. "Wake up man! Zita and her mom will freak if Zano is monster poop!"

"What about Tonito?" asked Chavo. "My brother can talk to animals, so he'll be okay as long as it's friendly, Oh Man!" Camilo found a rock and fervently banged it against the chains.

Helga huffs, "Next chance I get, I'm knocking that dingus Luna into next week!

Isa scoffs at her, "She didn't know it was La Sombra, Helga! He tricked her, just like he tricked us, into thinking he was Eduardo, so give her a break!" Isa scolds the petty girl who gives a scoff of her own, "Oh, please all those warnings her parents and sisters gave her!"

"Ugh! The only pictures they had of him he had a mask covering his face in everyone of them!" Camilo added trying to break the chains on Chico with a rock.

"Besides you're putting a lot of faith in a lying psycho river pirate's words over a classmate whom you've known since kindergarten!" Isa points out to the girl.

Olga whimpering, "Helga I think you should consider what they're saying?" Then resumes crying, "Bah!" on Isabel's shoulder who stares at the angry girl.

"Isa and Olga are right Helga, Luna thought she made that deal with Eduardo, not La Sombra," Mirabel said, while she and Luna use a bobby pin to pick the locks on Luisa's chains in secret. Under the guise that Luna's still sad and Mirabel is checking on her knocked-out sister. "Besides she only did it to help Miguel find his parents. I probably would have done the same thing."

"Aren't you mad that your family is in danger?"

"Of course, we are but we know who to blame," Isa said, "And he won't get away with this," Olga cries louder, "Does your sister ever shut up?" Isa whispers to the angry girl.

Later that night

Miguel, Layla, and Gaby are in a separate cell with one sleeping Flunky Guard, "keeping watch" outside, with the keys right in his hand. Miguel opens his backpack and takes out a framed photo of his parents and one of the whole family.

Miguel sniffles, "Mami, Papí, all I wanted was to bring you home. But... I guess I'm never going to find you!" He sobs as Layla and Gaby hug him, "I'm sorry primas it's all my fault!" he says as they all cry together.

On the other side of the wall, Helga hears Miguel, Layla, and Gaby sob. She peeks through a hole in the wall. "Goodbye, Mommy. Goodbye, Daddy. Goodbye, Zano... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!" Helga in tears, "Oh. You poor tortured innocent creatures. Having known the depths of your despair, I wouldn't have left your kind but dumb Luna's side in this dire time of fear! If ever you needed help, it's now, and you have it. I must do anything, make any sacrifice, to help them!" Helga reaches inside her shirt for her pocket multitool, before remembering that she must have lost it during the riverboat chase. "Crud!"

Her classmate they all call Brainy wheezes behind her, "Uh, Helga?" Brainy holds in his hands the pocket knife with her initials. Helga grabs it in joy, "Brainy! I could hit you!" She kisses him and runs to the others, as he starts playing the pan flute in joy.

Helga calls Phoebe, Gerald, and Isabela, "Guys!"

"What's up, Helga?"

"Look, Luna may be a total sap who traded all of our lives for a bag of metaphorical magic beans, but Miguel and the girls need our help. We got to do something!"

"Now you're starting to make sense," Isa says smiling at the girl.

Gerald is still hurt, "Ugh! That girl's going to be doing my chores for weeks to make up for this, but I'm in. What's the plan?"

Helga turns to, "Phoebe?" Isa gives her a blank look, "You don't have a plan?!"

"Give me a break! I'm making this up as I go. So, unless you have any bright ideas sister, I'd love to hear them!" Helga dares Isa who rolls her eyes at the young girl's attitude. "All right, I get it. Phoebe?"

Phoebe ponders on a plan, "Hmmm. We can't all escape at the same time. They'll certainly notice our absence and capture us again."

"Okay. So, Helga, you and I bust Miguel and the girls out so we can find these, "Green-Eyed People", and, Phoebe..."

"I'll take care of everything here with Isabel."

"Great! Oh, and Isabela here," she shows her pocket knife to Isa and pulls out a lock pick, "This has helped me unlock a lot of stuff," Isa takes it and smiles at the girl. "Thank you."

Isa rushes over to Luna and Mirabel giving them the lock pick to free Luisa, afterward they move on to help Camilo with Chico's chains, as Isabel informs her sister, cousin, and Luna about the plan and were on board, though they did make little altercation to it to free Antonio as well as Luisa and Zano.

Even more later that night. The rest of the students in the group were informed about the plan, now they wait for the signal to begin.

Helga and Gerald nod at Phoebe, who nods at Curly. "Yah!" He jumps and starts to ride Olga like a horse, "Hi-ho, Silver!"

"Oh, no! Curly has gone completely crazy! Get him off of me! Help!" Curly laughs which catches the guard's attention as they look at them in amusement.

Luna joins Helga and Gerald in freeing the trio as Phoebe tells them, "See you on the other side..." kisses Gerald on the cheek, "...handsome."

Gerald blushes, then he, Luna, and Helga jump on top of the sleeping Chico's belly into the trio's cell which still didn't wake the sleeping giant.

Helga Gerald and Luna landed right into the kids' cell, awakening them. "What's go—" Helga covers Miguel's mouth and signals for them to be quiet, "Hush!"

The trio sees they're friends and rushed to hug Luna and Gerald happy to see them. Then Layla quietly asks, "What are you doing here?"

Gerald quietly replied, "We're your rescue committee."

"I thought you guys hated me," Thought Miguel.

Helga scoffs, "Well, of course, everyone hates Luna, but we've got to bust you out of here and find those "Green-Eyes" if we want to save everyone."

The trio wanted to trust her words but looked down in defeat. "But what can we do? La Caca won." Gaby says in a tired voice,

Helga puts her hand on their shoulders, "Don't you give up now! Your blind optimism is one of your least annoying qualities," They look blankly at her, "Besides after the Green Eyes help us, they might have some information on your parents," She says to Miguel.

"Okay!" the trio whispered gaining their spark back.

The next step: Get the key. Luna attempts to get the key from the sleeping guard. "Zzzzzzzz... Hmm? Oh..." mumbles.

Luna took out the stapler, "Dad said this would come in handy," Luna successfully snatches the keys from the guard's hand and replaces them with the stapler. She quickly unlocks the cell door with ease, freeing them. Suddenly the guard wakes up "Oh, what? What are you—? Why are you—?" Helga knocks the guard out with the stapler leaving everyone in a state of shock and awe, "Your dad was right," She coolly stated handing the stapler back.

Back in the cell, Curly laughing is still riding his steed, Olga like Wild Bill. "Watch it! This isn't funny anymore!" Olga whines in pain but Curly continues, "Oh, yes!"

Unknown to the other guards Luisa is awake though pretending to sleep until it's time to escape. Behind her Camilo changes his body to slip through the bars with Helga's multi-tool to free Antonio.

Once outside, and unnoticed Camilo changes into one of La Sombra's flunkies from the boat, 'Steve'. He sees the area of stolen treasures unguarded and heads over to free Antonio, who was sleeping all snuggled up with the jungle cat. Relieved and without a moment to lose Camilo attempts to pick the lock.

"Ayuda!" a guard runs towards him panting with fresh scratches all over him. The cut-up flunky looks at 'Steve' and cries, "Sound the alarm! He's loose!"

"Who?" the concealed shapeshifter asked him. Suddenly a bone-chilling roar is made and the guard screams like a girl as a big skeleton cat with flames jumps out!

"OH MY GOD!" Camilo screams in terror holding the guard but then he noticed a familiar teenager riding it. "Zano!" Antonio now fully awake cheered, glad to see Zano riding the skeleton, "You're okay!"

Zano briefly smiled at Antonio, then glared at the guards, particularly the one Camilo was disguised as, "Didn't you fall into the rapids?" the white-haired teen asks as the skeleton cat growls at them. The other guard looked at 'Steve' but his head was banged against the bars knocking him out. "Man! That felt too good!" Camilo shifted to himself, "Don't tell Mom," he said as takes the guard's keys. "Milo!" Antonio says happy to see his brother getting him out of the cage.

Zano smirked at the teenage Madrigal, "Nice job man, didn't know you had it in you?" Zano says to him impressed, as his new feline friend nuzzles Antonio. Camilo quickly tells them the plan as they unlock the cages.

"So, we have to split up?" Zano says as Camilo nods, "It pains me to say this but it's a good plan."

Antonio told his new animal friends the plan and understands that they would have to stay, but the black cat insisted to join them as added protection from the bad men. Zano quickly locks the guard in the cage. Camilo transforms into the guard and carries his brother.

"Remember we got to be sneaky while getting the kids far away," Camilo says as they quickly scan the area. Once clear the boys rush over to the jail gate where Isa waits for them.

Isabel smiles as she sees Zano, a skeleton, and a 'flunky' appear with... "Antonio! Camilo, you did it!"

Smiling at the praise, Camilo unlocks the door and hands Isa the keys for later. Without warning Isa sprouted flowers and vines over them, as a guard passed by. He sees her looking at him and winks at her as he leaves, apparently missing the look of horror on her face.

Zano smirks, "Uh-oh, somebody got a boyfriend," Camilo laughs.

"Shut up and focus on the plan!" She scolds the teen boys, Isa nods to her sisters, and the girls start to make their way to the exit while the guards are still distracted by Olga and Curly. Isa gives them floral camo as they approach, "The kids haven't shown up yet with our cousins, wait for them and go as far away from here as possible to get help!"

Back with Luna, Gerald, Helga, Miguel, Layla, and Gaby, the older members scale the wall to make sure there are no guards. Helga gives the "all-clear" signal and they run for it. But not before Luna looks at Phoebe, who gives her a thumbs up.

Phoebe turns to her classmate, "Nadine, now!" Nadine blows a bug from a tube, which is a spider, that lands on a guard's nose. "Oh, ¡araña!" The guard screams and falls over, tripping into the rope that opens the gate, allowing Miguel, Layla, Gaby, Luna, Helga, and Gerald to escape.

Then the second escapees: Mirabel holding Antonio, Zano, Luisa, Camilo, and the jungle cats, quickly followed after them, as most of them exit Mirabel paused and gives her older sister a brief look as Isa tells her to go! She quickly complies hoping her older sister will be okay till help arrives.

Deep into the San Lorenzo wilderness Luna pants as she carries Miguel while running away from the camp. Same with Gerald carrying Layla and Helga holding Gaby as the six of them continue to make their getaway before they come to a stop for a rest.

"We did it! We're free!" Gerald holds out his fist, which Luna accepts and they do their handshake again. "Thanks for not giving up on me, Gerald."

Helga looks down and notices a creepy crawly on her hand, "Ah! Okay then, now that you dragged us to stinking' San Nowhere-zo, how do we find these Green Eyes?"

"Don't worry. I've got a map, and according to Javier's journal, the Green Eyes live somewhere around here." points to the area labeled "Unknown."

"Let's go!"

"Not so fast!" the six kids gasped in fear as they turned around to see... "Zano!" Luna exclaimed joyfully as she rushed over to her brother with Miguel. "You're okay!" Miguel exclaims hugging his uncle. "Same here squirts," he said as he hugs them back.

Relieved it's their friends, Gerald notices the others, "Luisa! You're awake!" Layla reaches out for the muscled Madrigal who gladly takes the girl from Gerald. Gabriela jumps out of Helga's arms, towards Antonio, Camilo, and Mirabel. "You're all free! And you brought two big cats!" She says as they lick her face. *Giggles*

Helga freaked out, "Is that cat a freaking skeleton?!"

Zano smirks as he pets the cat, "Yup! Turns out old King Col here hated La Sombra as much as I did now he's with us."

Helga then realized, "Wait this thing is the beast La Bozo, tried to feed you to? And you named it!" Col growled at the girl.

Antonio tells her, "He doesn't like that. Oh, and he says to tell you that he's a puma."

"Thank you, mini-doctor Do-little. So now what are we going to do?" Helga asks the older kids, as they saddled the little kids onto the two cats.

Zano shrugs a bit unsure but has a general idea, "Obviously move as far away from the base as possible and find the nearest town to get help."

"What?! But Zano we need to warn the Green Eyes! They're in danger and they could help us fight La Sombra!" Luna says.

"Luna we are in the jungle, separated from our group, who are being held captive by our sister's greediest adversary!" Zano exclaimed. "If we went to their city, La Sombra would stalk us and get what he wanted."

Mirabel kneeled to her, "Zano has a point, Luna we need help and while Luisa is strong there is no way for us to beat them. We're outnumbered and outmatched."

"Didn't Tío Chico call our mommies and daddies?" Layla asked as Zano's face beams up, "That's right they must be on their way to the camp?"

"How would they know where it is?" Helga asks, "Chico has a tracking device in his clothes in case he gets lost," Zano tells them.

"A what?" Camilo asks, confused by the mention of the device. "A tracking device. It's how people can keep track of someone or something no matter where it ends up in the world," Helga explains.

"Huh, that's similar to what my sister did back home."

"Anyway, if that's true then that means they're on their way to the camp," Mirabel concluded. "Yup!" Zano smirks, "and it's going to be a blood bath."

Mirabel sighs in relief, "Great, the others will be rescued, plus those goons are still unaware of Isa's powers. So if they tried anything..."

"Boom! Catci in the butt."

"Now can we go find the green eyes? We still have Papa's map right here," Miguel shows everyone the map in his father's journal with help from Luna.

"You guys have a map?" Zano asked them. "Yeah..." Luna replied as he takes the book from her.

"I'll yell at you two later, right now we got a map and according to this the nearest village is that way, we can get supplies, plan and hopefully call for help," Zano says as everyone agrees with his idea. Zano sees the sad look on Miguel's face as Luna comforts him. "And maybe after we can talk about finding the green eyes," Zano reluctantly agrees. Miguel jumps at him in joy, "Thank you!" the little boy says as Zano catches him.

~Back at the Habitat~

Two henchmen drag the beat-up flunky to La Sombra, "What's going on?"

"Jefe, the tiny mocosos escaped. It's not my fault!"

"So, did a small child knock you out, or did you just fall asleep, pobrecito?"

Flunky Guard crying, "Please, Jefe, don't kill me!"

La Sombra chuckles and laughs heartily. Pirates laugh along, "Ah, well done. You did exactly as I wanted." Pirates become confused, "Hmm?"

"I did?"

Inside La Sombra's hut, he removes a dust cover revealing a radar screen. "See? I intended for them to escape. As expected from Madrigals. The Green Eyes would not have shown themselves if I was with them, so I put a tracking device on the boy. Now, he will lead me straight to them. Gather the crew. We're going hunting for Green Eyes... and their precious Corazón."

In the jail Olga overheard them and gasps "Oh no! They've already discovered that the trio escaped! Baby sister!" she sobs worried for Helga.

"Damn it! I should have known that snake wouldn't make it easy!" Isa exclaims and starts slapping Chico awake, "Sorry! I get that you are concussed and drugged but WAKE UP! FAMILY. IN. DANGER!" he just snores.

"Don't panic, girls. Olga, do you still have that bag of beepers?" Phoebe asks.

"Right here. But these can only receive messages. It's one-way communication... Just like me and Che," Isa snaps the girl out of it, "Olga focus and forget about Chet! The others and our sisters need us!" Takes the bag and hands it to Phoebe, "I assume you have a plan for these things because all I got so far is to use my powers to attack the creeps."

"Save that for later, right now Rhonda! Your phone can help us send a message."

"News flash: nada bar-os!" she gasps as Phoebe takes her cell phone and breaks it apart.

"I can tap into La Sombra's Wi-Fi signal..."

Rhonda cries, "My phone!"

"Trying to save lives here! Including ours!" Isa notifies her making her stop and watches Phoebe. "...and transmit a low-data package that will bypass the need for a password."

"The only words I got were transmit and message," Isa says a bit confused but shrugs it off, "So, what do you need?"

"We need to scavenge some additional parts to get the signal out." Everyone nods as they break to get materials.

Sometime later, the rest of the gang finds an old telephone, a paint roller, a car battery, and some wire hangers. They make some kind of device.

"8-0-8 for "Bob"... and 5-0-5 for "SOS". Voila! We now have a long-wave homing beacon sending our precise coordinates."

The older Madrigal looks to her, "Nice work Phoebe," who smiles, "Let's hope your parents get this in time, Olga," Isa says to Olga who nods and then cries again onto her shoulder. "Soon!"

Sunset Arms.

The doorbell buzzes and Manolo and Maria head down to answer it. "All right, all right. Keep your pants on." He opens the door to find... "Abner?!" Manolo exclaims as he sees his daughter's pig in the arms of a tall dark handsome stranger.

"Who the heck are you?" Manolo asks the young man, "Please, Señor I'm sorry to disturb you but I'm looking for,"

"Mariano!" Dolores says from the stairwell as she spots him at the door. "Dolores!" he exclaims joyfully as she hugs him as he spins her around in joy. Soon the other adults and Zita rush down at the commotion.

"What's going on?" Julieta asked. They all noticed Dolores kissing a familiar boy. "Mariano, what are you doing here?" asked Alma both happy and curious about the boy's arrival. "Is everything all right back home?"

"Yes, and as for why I'm here it's a long story, but I had to see Dolores, and I got this strange message telling me I should go now, and then I meet this pig, Abner," He smiles at the pig for leading him to his intended.

"Abner?" Dolores looks at the pig, "But Señora Maria sent you with Luna?" she says to the pig.

Grandpapí Posada chimes in, "How in holy Toledo did you get here?"

Pepa asks, "Are the kids okay?"

Abner replies to them in squeals, "Anyone speak pig?" General Posada says.

Maria chimes in, "I got this! Abner tell me what happened," Abner squealed his story. Wide-eyed at the news she urges him to continue, "Oh, my!"

Flashback of Abner diving out of the boat after discovering La Sombra.

"What?" He swims to shore, only to be pursued by a water snake. "No!" Abner continues his story. Maria gasps "No!" Abner managed to get a ride with a bunch of bandits. "Are you kidding me?!" In a Tom and Jerry-esque fashion, the snake hitches onto the back-spare tire of the bandits' Jeep. "There's no way that happened."

Abner somehow ended up at the same train station Miguel took with Zano and the Madrigals, Abner caught the scent of Dolores and leaped into Mariano's travel bag, still being chased by the snake, which also latches onto the bag. "Oh, my stars!"

Abner continues grunting, "Well, you are blowing my mind!"

In the flashback, Abner is seen riding first class next to Mariano and being offered a shrimp cocktail. "Well, then what—" Abner continues grunting, "Oh, what?" Somehow, the snake is seen, riding coach.

Present.

"They serve shrimp cocktails in first class?" Maria asked.

"What?!" Grandpapí exclaimed, "You came all the way to tell us about shrimp cocktail?"

"No! It's the kids! They're in trouble!" Maria said making everyone in the lobby gasp. "What?!"

"MY BABIES!"

"What'll we do?"

"We have to go save them!" said Maria.

"But there in San Lorenzo," Manolo reminded them.

Through the magic of cartoon physics, Zita is suddenly in her hero uniform driving the van with Raul, Joy, Jacob, Manny, and Michelangelo in car seats. Following behind her is Maria who was dressed in a commando uniform, inside the Packard with Abner.

"Well, what are you waiting for, an invitation? We got to rescue the kids!" Zita ordered.

Without question, Manolo, Grandpapi, Bruno, Alma, Julieta, Pepa, Felix, Agustin, Dolores, and Mariano jumped inside the vehicles to help rescue everyone.

Airport runway

Zita tried calling Edna and Sal for a ride earlier but all she got was voicemail. Now the group of parents and grandparents, plus Dolores and Mariano, are attempting to catch a plane to San Lorenzo.

"Any luck Zita?" Bruno asks his daughter-in-law's twin.

"Nope, but I'll keep trying," sees the babies with Alma, "Ay, I can't believe both my brothers picked now to go out of town!" Zita exclaims not happy being forced to the kids with them since everyone wanted to go.

"And they took Rosita and Jorge along..." Dolores noted.

"And Joaquin and Andreas are in Vegas." Added Manolo.

"Which is Great! Just Great! But none that will matter anyway since we can't seem to (Says to the runway) GET A RIDE!"

"Well, your mother and Agustin did get banned for a month, and for good reason," Grandpapí said.

Manolo sighs, "Did you at least contact Angelina or..." Zita shook her head, "I left them a message but if they're in the air I doubt they'll be able to hear it?"

Grandpapí holds up a cardboard sign saying, "San Lorenzo." When Maria holds out a stocking leg, "Ah? Ha-ha-ha, yeah!"

"Oh, Mija, not the fake hitchhiking leg! That never works!"

"Oh, stick-in-the-mud!"

Helga's father Bob pulls up in front of them, "Manny? Maria? You guys are still alive?"

Manolo says, "Imagine that!"

"What in the world are you doing here?"

"Trying to get to San Lorenzo! The kids are in danger!" answered Maria.

"Hey, us, too!"

"You need a ride? We got a plane!"

"Oh, thank you!" says Zita, "I take all the bad stuff I ever thought of you back!"

Alma hears the news but then sees Bob, "You! You're that awfully rude man from Parent's Day!" Bob asks the Sánchez couple, "Who's the old bird?"

"A holy saint from the congregation of trauma and repression!" He takes them seriously, "Oh, peace be with you sister," Alma looks at him confused.

Zita snaps them out of it, "People our families! Let's go!"

The three cars pull up to a fancy small plane. "Wow! What a fancy plane!" Grandpapí says impressed, "The beeper business must be booming!"

"Oh. No, that's not us." Bob corrected, "This is." Pan right to reveal a run-down old plane with the words "Rent Me" on the wing. Abner squeals.

Zita groans at the man's frugality, "Are you kidding me?" Then looks at her phone, "Forget it! It'll do. Come on!"

Everyone follows the young woman inside as they gear up the plane and buckled the kids and themselves in. Jacob is seated between Bruno and Alma who are praying in their way. Baby Manny is between Agustin and Julieta, and Michelangelo is seated between Pepa and Felix. Joy is seated between Manolo and Maria. Raul is next to Grandpapi who is napping. Dolores is seated with Mariano holding each other. Zita went to the cock pit and sees only one pilot, "Where's the co-pilot?"

"Not here mam and until she arrives where land bound."

"Bump that!" Zita sits in the chair and preps the plane, "Attention all passengers were about to take off so hold on!" the plane moves fast and quickly jets off. Maria smiles in pride for her daughter, everyone else is screaming from the fast takeoff except for Raul, and the babies who are wearing special head protection, are all laughing and giggling at the ride.

Back in San Lorenzo, Zano is leading the group to town but something keeps happening to the paths. "I don't get it we should already be in a town by now!" Zano says, checking the map and the path.

"Maybe the maps are outdated?" Mirabel suggests, "Javier did make them years ago?"

Zano thinks, "It's possible." *Sigh* "I can't believe I'm saying this but I wish we brought your other sister with us, she'd probably be able to clear a path?" he looks at the foliage as it moves.

"What the... Did you just see that?!" Zano exclaimed, "Those vines just blocked us!"

"They moved!" exclaimed Luisa. "How? Isa isn't here, or is she?"

"I don't know but it explains why we haven't gotten out of this jungle."

(Rustling)

"What was that?" Gerald asked as they all huddled up and looked around when a branched hand from above came down and plucked Miguel off the puma. "Ah!"

"Miguel!" the group yelled as the boy disappeared into the tree leaves. "Luisa throw me up! I'm going after him!" Zano asserted as she propelled him up the tree.

"Luisa look out!" a dart flew past her and hit the bark. "What the!" Soon they were surrounded by people in huge skull masks holding bows and arrows pointed at them. "Who are these guys?!"

"Maybe they're the Green Eyes?!" said Layla who was placed on Camilo's shoulder, catching the archer's attention and making them lower their Longbows. "Layla..."

"Lala, how did they know your name?" Mirabel asked as Gaby made her appearance known.

"Gabriela..."

"They know Gaby too!" Luisa noted. "Then they must also know..."

Zano came back down holding Miguel in his left arm and the squirming sentient stick that kidnapped him. "Miguel!"

"And Zano if anyone..." Sees the archers, "Please tell me these are the Green Eyes," he asked the group.

"We hadn't asked them yet and is that stick alive?"

"Estefan..." The stick stopped squirming and started tapping on a log in Morse code.

Zano groans, "Great they're with the child napping twig, that-." Listens to the taps "knows Morse code."

"Well, what's it saying bat boy?" asked Helga but Zano ignored her and faces Miguel, "Miguelito we are going to visit your abuelos," Miguel's eyes widened at his words.

The group was now escorted by the archers who surrounded them. Mirabel asked Zano about what he told Miguel, "These guys are taking us to Chico and Blanca's parents," Zano replied, "Parents? You mean Miguel's Abuelos live..." Her words were cut off as they stopped by a waterfall, and went through it revealing a large body of water in a cave. Once they all went in, they boarded three boats. Miguel, Layla, Gabriela, Mirabel, and Zano were in one boat. Altivo, Camilo, Antonio, and Luna, in the second boat. Leaving Luisa, Gerald, Col, and Helga in the third boat. Miguel's heart was pounding as he felt nervous or scared, as he felt the boat moving past the pillars.

The group looked around as the cave went dark with only torches lighting it, they passed by stone sculptures with heads. "Wow," But as Miguel saw a light up ahead, he heard the torch going out and something caught his eye. He looked up and saw the woman Archer was wearing a skull earring of gold.

Miguel and the group looked straight as the light at the end was getting brighter. The older kids and Luisa's eyes grew wide in shock while Miguel, Layla, and Gabriela's mouths dropped.

"Oh, my..." Miguel softly spoke as he saw what the group was seeing, "It's... It's..."

"El Dorado!" the trio spoke in unison as they can't believe what they saw.

It was, indeed, El Dorado. Mirabel felt chills all over her as she saw the beauty of the golden city. No words came out of her mouth as she was too speechless. She saw golden butterflies flying around and in the water were massive fish that no people from the outside world have ever seen. But when she saw people around, they were all staring at her, and the others, Mirabel knew that Miguel's grandparents were there and probably visited when he was a baby, but who knows what they'd think of her and the others.

As the boat finally parked near a watery stairway, they got off along with the cats while the Skull Leader was behind. Mirabel started to feel uncomfortable from all the people staring while the Trio and Antonio were on the puma. They started to move while the warriors kept their guard up as they stared at them along with the citizens of El Dorado. Mirabel wanted to try to smile but to her, she would just be scaring the citizens even further. Her eyes caught sight of the warrior in the Jaguar headpiece going off. "Where is he going?"

"To get the chiefs," Zano replied to her as she still felt everyone's eyes on them.

"They're just staring at us. Why?" Mirabel whispered to the teenager.

"I don't know," Zano replied, "but don't worry these citizens aren't dangerous unless we provoke them."

"Then why do I have a bad feeling about all this?" Luisa says, "Maybe because they're holding weapons," said Helga.

"In that case, I'm glad to have met you guys," said Camilo, "And Zano, I just want you to know, I'm sorry about your toothbrush."

"Wait... What?" Zano looked shocked and glared at the shapeshifting Madrigal.

"Behold! As the stars foretold, the prophecy of the Green Eyes has come!"

Mirabel looked up and saw a skinny man in weird garb proclaim, while beside him was whom she assumed to be the chief and his wife.

"Citizens, did I not predict that the gods' children and protectors would come to us?" The man spoke directing his attention. Mirabel, Zano, and the trio on Col looked around in confusion and then looked at each other.

"Is he talking about us?" Layla whispered to her cousins as they looked at the priest. "I believe so," Miguel replied.

"My lords and ladys, I am Tekal-Kan, your devoted high priest and speaker to the gods," the priest introduced as he bows to them.

"Hey," Zano spoke as he raised his hand as a hello along with Mirabel.

The chiefs came down the stairs with the priest as they looked at the trio, but mostly at... "Míguelas!"

"Yes..." Miguel says as they quickly bring him in a hug. "I can't believe it's you!" they both said surprising the other members of their group.

"Look how big you got!" The chief exclaims as he lifts Miguel for a better look. "And you brought the girls!" the Chieftess says as she brings them into a hug. "Layla! Gaby! Last time you three were just babies!"

Mirabel confused at the leader's display, turned to Zano, "Hey Chiefs long time no see," he greeted.

"Zano!" the couple greets while hugging the trio, "We hadn't recognized you, you've grown as well." Chara nods at her husband's words then notices Mirabel, and the others starting at them, "Oh, who are they?"

"Friends," Zano replied.

The Chiefs introduced themselves. "I am Chief Tana and this is my wife Chief Charra. What names may we call you?"

The seven looked at each other and decided to introduce themselves. "I'm Luisa."

"Camilo."

"Antonio."

"Luna Sánchez," Zano adds "My little sister was a baby when you last saw her. And these are her friends."

"Gerald."

"Helga."

"I'm Mirabel Madrigal and these guys are Col and Altivio," She says including the cats that joined them.

"Madrigal? You're related to Javier and his siblings?"

"Yes, so are Luisa, Camilo, and Antonio. They're our cousins."

Chief Charra smiles, "Oh, it's great to finally meet you but what brings you here?"

"Is it not obvious they have come to fulfill they're destiny and save the Green Eyes!" Exclaimed the priest whom they dismissed briefly.

"To be honest we're all in need of some saving, La Sombra knows about the kids," Zano says as they all gasped.

"Follow us," The chiefs guides the group to their home to talk with the trio still in their arms.

Miguel looks around the place noticing it's just like his dream, "Start at the beginning, and don't leave any details," Tana ordered.

Zano started, "It all started with a contest..."

After Zano explained what happen from Chico's head injury to the group escaping. "Chico is back at camp with Isabel but we don't know if he's awake yet and we don't know when Layla and Gaby's parents will arrive."

Tana is in deep thought about the boy's story, "What are you going to do chief?" asked Miguel making the chief's serious expression turn into a smile, "It's okay Míguelas we won't let anyone harm you three. Priest Tekal!"

"Yes, Chief!" The chiefs told him to get the guards and archer ready for a mission which the priest accepts and leaves.

Chief Charra looks at the group, "You all can relax now, you all look so pensive."

"We have a lot of questions about your family, your ladyship."

"Please call us Tana and Charra after all you are family."

"We are?"

"Yup!" Luna said, "Madrigals from Columbia meet Chico and Blanca's parents A.K.A the leaders of El Dorado!"

"As in Javier and Zita's suegros," Zano added.

"And Miguel's grandparents!" Luna said which caused Miguel and the two girls in their arms to gasp at the couple, "Abuelos!" they say joyfully as they hugged the pair who laugh at the affection.

"Woah! Miguel's going to be so tall," noted Camilo to his brother who nods his head.

"Anyway, I take it that Miguel, Layla, and Gaby had been here before?" Mirabel says curiously.

"Yes, when they were newborns with Raul, and their parents," Tana said.

Helga turns to Zano and Luna, "What about you guys?"

"We meet at Chico's wedding and again at Blanca's," Zano answered. "But we have never been here until today," Luna added.

"That's right and based on all of your reactions, I sense the others never mentioned it."

"Sort of," replied Mirabel. "They left out the parts about you being in charge of a hidden city of gold, and the part about being seen as gods."

"Not surprising. The mission that brought them here was kept from the world."

"Mission? You mean the one they had with Mateó when they first met your kids and Zano's sisters?"

"Yes!" Yelled the high priest making them all jump, "That was when the gods came to aid us and vanquish the evil army that invaded our home! It was glorious!"

"Tekal have you..."

"Yes, it's all taken care of and the citizens are on alert as well," he says. "Now as for the young lords, what plans have you made for your Journey?"

"Um?" Miguel says but luckily Mama Chara answers for him, "Tekal the children need rest, for now, why don't you answer our other guests' questions."

"Very well what do you all wish to now?"

"How do you know the Green Eyes?"

"And how to find them and Miguel's parents?"

"And what's with that stick that keeps following us?!" Helga asks as they all see the stick heading toward them.

"Ah! Estefan you finally reunite with your Mage's child good for you!" the stick jumps at his words and pats Miguel on his head.

"Mage's child?" Mirabel thought, "Are you talking about Javier or Blanca?"

"Lord Javier, Lady Mirabel. Estefan became Lord Miguel's father's companion after the battle and joined him. But after they came to cure the Green Eyes he was also the last to see them."

"What?!"

Zano exclaims, "That stick knows where Javier and Blanca are!"

Helga asks, "Why didn't you send for them?"

"We did, but something prevented us from finding the city!" Explained Chico's father.

"We used every path we had. that once lead us straight to them, but a protective enchantment kept preventing us." Charra added. "Only Estefan could enter so we send messages along with food and supplies."

"The supplies are always accepted however the replies to our messages were mere drawings that we couldn't make out."

"So, there is no way to find them?" Miguel asks, sad that he won't be able to see his parents. "We're sorry mijo."

"At least that means La Sombra won't be able to get in," said Helga.

"Yeah, but what about his parents and the sleeping sickness," Luna pondered.

"Estefan says they're all alive but that's about it..." Chara says, "We prayed every night for their safe return." Miguel pats his Grandma's hand, "At least we got to see you and the rest of your family."

"Of course, they came it's their destiny!" The high priest said.

"Okay, I'll bite what destiny are you spouting about?" Helga asked, "Is it connected to the volcano thing La bozo said back at the camp?"

"La Sombra knows about the prophecy?"

"Yes, but he didn't elaborate!"

"When the lords and ladies' children were born it aligned with a prophecy in which they will save the green eyes from danger and eternal slumber! As heroic and bold like their parents before them! Oh, I'm so proud!" he wipes a tear.

Zano chimes in, "Sorry to break it to you, but there's no way that's happening!" making the priest glare at him.

Mirabel went between them, "No disrespect sir, but Miguel, Layla, and Gaby are only four."

"Plus, we just got them out of danger now you're expecting us to let them fight the danger," Gerald says.

"Of course not, we would never permit our savior's offspring into danger. That's what their protectors are for!"

"Who's that?" asked Luisa, but before the priest could respond Estefan started wigging out and pulled Miguel's necklace off.

"No, that's mine!" Miguel cried as the stick took his only treasure belonging to his dad.

"Hey!" Zano says to it as he takes it back but notices something strange, "Miguel where did you get this?"

The boy was about to answer but then he remembered who gave it to him so he said nothing. Luna who was present at the time answered for him, "Don't be mad but he got it from who we thought was Eduardo at the time," Estefan goes to comfort the sad boy.

"What?!" Everyone exclaimed shocked especially Zano, "You didn't tell us after we got out and kept it!"

"I didn't think it mattered and he said it belong to Javier..."

"Luna he was lying, Look!" He held out a tracking device.

"What is that?" Mirabel asked.

Gerald gasps, "A tracking chip! That means!"

Helga finishes for him, "La Sombra is on his way here! Of course! Nice going, Luna! Didn't your parents ever teach you not to take things from strangers!"

"I'm sorry I didn't..." Chief Tana stops her, "It's all right child mistakes are common and La Sombra is a master manipulator." Chara nods, "There's a reason he's managed to elude the authorities this far."

"Besides now we know he's coming here so we will have the upper hand. Tekal!"

"On it!" he says as he goes to alert the city and guards. Chara turns to the group. "Now as for you, some will need to stay here while the rest of you go warn the Green Eyes."

"What? But you said only Estefan was allowed." Zano says, "He is however if what the priest says is true about the prophecy happening then Miguel, Layla, and Gaby will be allowed in safely," Tana explains.

"Chief I am not letting them go by themselves even with one of the cats." Zano tells him.

"That is why Estefan will join them."

"He's a stick!" hits him, "Ow!"

"A magic staff who will choose which of you to go while the others stay and help us prepare." He motions for the enchanted staff to make his selection.

Estefan moves around the members, then picks Col along with... "There you have it Mirabel and Zano are going with you," he says to the trio and turns to the others, "The rest of you will have to remain here."

Mirabel was honored but doubtful, "But Chief my sister Luisa can move mountains surely she..."

"Will be able to help here while we keep La Sombra from reaching you," Chara says, "Trust Estefan child he's been helping our two cities for thousands of years and has never steered us wrong."

Mirabel contemplates her words and turns to her sister and cousins, "I wish you could come..."

"It's okay sis, after we help deal with La Caca we'll catch up and help you out," Luisa says as they all hug the bespectacled Madrigal.

"Okay so now what do we do?" asked Helga.

The chiefs reveal a hidden passageway, "Take this to get out of the city unnoticed, Estefan will help lead you there." The male Chief says, "But not before we get you some protection and supplies," Chara says.

Now geared up Zano, Mirabel, and the third Madrigal trio prepare to leave for the Green Eyes city as they give their goodbyes.

"Miguel we are happy to see you three again, and I wish you could stay longer but..."

"We know," Miguel says as he Layla and Gaby hug them goodbye, "maybe when it's all over we can spend time together?" They smiled at the suggestion, "We'd love that. We are so proud of you."

The alarm are going off, Zano and Mirabel grab the kids and hoped on Col, "We got to go," Zano says as Esteban hops on slapping the puma to run which it did.

"Now mí amor, it's time we fight, Luisa, Camilo stay and protect Antonio and the others!" he orders as he and Chara ran into battle.

After gaining a good distance from the city. Zano, Mirabel, Miguel, Layla, and Gaby approach a waterfall.

"So how do we get past this waterfall?" Estefan points to the journal.

Zano surveying the map, "Okay, I guess that we're... I don't know."

Layla and Gaby notice something glowing in Miguel's backpack. "Hey, Miguel, your bag is glowing!"

"What?" Takes out the glowing object, "It's Papa Bruno's tablet!"

Mirabel curiously asks, "You brought Tío's tablet with you?" Miguel nods, "and it's glowing?"

Miguel respond with a confused look, "It's never done that before?" Mirabel shook her head no, "Is it because it's next to the map?" Miguel inquired as he gave it to Estefan to hold it up over the map.

The Madrigal tablet reveals hidden markings on the map, "Look! It's a key! There's a hidden path behind the waterfall like in El Dorado!" Mirabel points out as Estefa. gives a thumbs up.

They walk behind the waterfall and come to a wall covered in vines. Layla to Miguel, "What does the map say now?"

Miguel looks through the tablet, "There should be some sort of giant eyeball here? But I don't see it."

"Maybe it's hidden?"

Mirabel removes some vines, "Did I hear someone mention a giant eyeball?"

Zano to, "Miguel hand over the map, Gracias!" Looks at the map to see two red markings on the giant eyeballs. "Oh, for crying out loud!"

Zano pushes the buttons as directed on the map to open the doors. "Wow! It's open!" the kids cheered as Col moves them forward.

Mirabel puts her hand on his shoulder, "Good thinking, Zano! You're brilliant!" she says, as she followed after them.

Zano blushes then shakes it off, "Well, at least one of us can read!" The doors close suddenly behind him.

The skeletal puma stops, letting Mirabel walk ahead and step on a stone tile, which sinks.

"Booby trap!" the kids shout, as Zano jumps and pushes Mirabel, avoiding an arrow heading right for her. "You okay bright eyes?"

"Yeah, I think so," she says, "Kids stay away from the tiles!"

"But Estefan says we have to go forward!" argued Miguel.

"What does the map say?" Zano asks, they look at the map. "Oh my gosh!" Layla exclaimed.

"This shows us which tiles to avoid. Forward, forward, forward, left, forward..." Miguel says.

Mirabel and Zano, "Forward, left, forward, right..."

"Maybe we're supposed to— Oof!" Zano bumps into Mirabel, setting off another booby trap, which they narrowly avoid. "Please don't ever stop like that again," Zano says to her.

Smiling awkwardly, "Okay guys your turn," she encourages them, "You heard her Col, go to... Woah!" The puma cut the little boy off as he jumps them over the tiles and land right next to Mirabel and Zano who glares, "You couldn't have done that earlier?"

The puma growls in reply, "Nevermind let's go."

Later, they move forward the path before Zano stops them, "Hold it! It says there's some kind of false floor here. Now we could use the rope or," Col lifts him and Mirabel unto his back as the puma backs up and successfully jumps the floor.

"Yay!" everyone cheered for the puma as Zano patted him in praise.

Fade to the five coming upon a tunnel this time witch if anyone stepped on the floor the ceiling would... you guessed it. So Col couldn't jump across to get them to safety

"It looks like we have to hug the wall," Zano says, "But what about Col?" Mirabel asks as the others voiced their resolve on not leaving the puma behind.

"Hm?" Zano thinks and looks around when Estefan taps an idea, "King, how good are you at climbing?"

The puma wastes no time as Esteban leads him on where to climb as they made it over the end of the tunnel. Esteban then points, "This way!" said Miguel.

Mirabel, Zano, and the kids riding Col with Esteban approach a stone shrine covered with leaves, when Bruno's tablet stops glowing.

Miguel notices, "Hmm? It's not glowing."

Layla asked, "Does that mean there are no more clues on the map?" Estefan gives her a thumbs up jumping around in joy.

"But where is the city?"

"We'll have to look around her for clues I'm sure Col could use a break," Zano says while helping the kids dismount from the puma.

"Estefan can you tell us where to start?" the staff complies with Mirabel's request in Morse code, "What's he saying?"

"That we'll have to find the Green Eyes on our own from this spot only," Zano grunts, "but there is nothing here."

Gabriela takes off her shoe, and sinks into the well, "Whoa!"

Zano: "Gaby! Are you okay?"

Mirabel: "Gaby? Whoa!"

Mirabel and Zano fall into the well and a pit of leaves. Soon Miguel, and Layla, fall on top of them with Col and Estefan.

Mirabel looks for... "Gaby! Are you okay?" then sees her starting at three familiar statues.

"Mm-mm-mm. Miguel, this statue sure looks a lot like you." Gaby says to the boy.

"And that one looks like you," He points to the statue on the right, "And that statue looks like me," Layla says as she moves in front of it.

"Hmm. I got to say, it's not half-bad," gives Gaby her shoe, "Creepy but not a bad likeness."

The five suddenly find themselves surrounded by villagers in animal skins brandishing weapons.

"Stand back kids!" Zano says getting into a fighting position.

"Wait! it's them! It's the Green Eyes!" Miguel says as Zano backs down a bit.

Green-Eyes gasps as they see that Layla, Miguel, and Gaby look exactly like their statue counterparts.

Green-Eyed children say to them, "Los Tres... Madrigals..."

The jail.

Chico who by this time is now awake but has lost his mind due to the blows and reaction to the drugs, has created a makeshift classroom in the jail.

"Class, with a little ingenuity, we can transform tragedy into a teachable moment," Pull out to reveal he is teaching a class full of monkeys.

"Okay, class, listening ears!" The guards laugh at the unhinged teacher.

"Figures he finally wakes up, and now he's lost his marbles," Sighs Isa annoyed at their predicament.

"We'll have to make do to break out now, and I'll need everyone's help."

(voiceover) "First, Olga, you distract the guards."

Olga waving a handkerchief, "Yoo-hoo! El Guard-o!"

The guard smiles and reveals his crooked smile. Che sees this and punches the other guard. Olga gives a thumbs-up signal.

Phoebe (voiceover) "Next, Nadine, you get us the keys."

Nadine lets some bugs crawl up a guard's pant leg. The guard screams and lets go of the keys. Nadine and Stinky pull the rug with the keys through the door.

Phoebe (voiceover) "Harold and Sid, you get the other guards to come down to ground level.

"Air guitar!"

"Look at me! I'm a distraction!"

Phoebe (voiceover) "I'll use my makeshift electromagnet to disarm the guards."

Isa kicks the magnet, which rolls and takes away the guards' weapons.

Phoebe (voiceover) "Next, unleash the Curly!"

"FREE THE ANIMALS IN THE ZOO!!!"

Curly releases all the poached animals and they attack the guards. The rest of the class escapes, including Chico who was being dragged by Isa.

"Class..."

"Let's go, buddy!"

Phoebe (voiceover) "With the guards safely locked away, we simply walk out the front door."

Or not. Because behind the door is another thug brandishing two machetes.

"Oh, please," Isa disarms him up with her vines and ties him up, unfortunately, he was not alone. So now there facing a wall of armed guards.

"Phoebe, what do we do now?"

Just then two plane engines roared, the very planes that the Madrigals, Sanchez', and Iglesias flew.

Angelina, Acacia, Ignacio, and Zita used their powers. Zita used hers to land the children to safety. Mateo and the rest used parachutes.

Maria, parachuting down, "Geronimo!"

Grandpapí, "Sacagawea!"

Big Bob, "Gesundheit!"

Miriam, Bruno, and Pepa's teeth chatter.

"Wow, Phoebe, you thought of everything!"

The adults land, with Maria ending up on the water tower.

Big Bob, "You kids okay? We got your message."

Angelina lands in front of them and hugs her cousin, "Isa where's my daughter and mí sobrinos?" Before she could answer The guards escape from their cell, leaving the kids in a panic.

"Oh no!" they all yelled as everyone fought off the pirates.

Olga goes to her father, "Oh, Daddy, that boy was mean to me!"

Big Bob rages and attacks Che.

Maria jumps off the water tower and hits guards with a spin-kick/punch. "Yah! Hee-yah!"

Angelina and Mateó start to fight them off as the guards quickly recognize them, "It's La diabla run for your lives!"

Dolores drives a forklift with Manolo on it, "Eat wrench! Take it!"

"Agenda, coming through!" Chico says knocking the guards down, "Chico? /Daddy?" he turns and sees his wife who kicks a pirate down, and his kids, "Hi!" he drops the agenda.

"What happened to you?" she says as she approaches him, "Oh just a bump and I think I was drugged."

"Hmm. Here eat this," Zita gives him Julieta's food. "Tasty," Chico says as he is healed and fully aware of the situation "I'll be right back Hun," He kisses her then hugs Raul and Joy.

"REVENGE!" He shouts as he wrestles with some pirates.

Agustín and Julieta are protecting Jacob but are cornered by a pirate when Isabel pulls them with her vines and punches the guard out. Julieta and Agustín hug their eldest daughter in pride, "That's our girl!"

"Thanks... did you get stung already?" she asks her father.

"I think it's mosquitoes," a swollen Agustín says as Jacob giggles at the chaos happing around them. "Isa, where are your sisters and primos?" Julieta asks.

Pepa zaps a guard with her lighting while drinking tea with Felix.

Sid is pursued by another guard. The guard has him cornered, ready to attack,

Grandpapí suddenly steps out of a bathroom stall and unknowingly knocks the thug out with the stall door. "Don't go in there for a while."

Bruno and his mother holding Ignacio's twins are surrounded but then he has a vision that causes the guards to get sand in their eyes. When they heard a whistle, "Hey morons!" they turn and see an angry Ignacio and Acacia. "Step away from our family!" the guards gulp as the two heroes beat them to a pulp.

Alma looks at them, "They teach that in the army?"

"Well..." they see Angelina savagely punching and questioning them, Bruno and Alma look wide-eyed, "Good lord she's more brutal than before."

"They did kidnap her daughter, cousins, niece, and nephew, Mama."

"Good point."

After an intense battle, Dolores and Mariano help free the rest of the animals in metal changing the case of the criminals while Isa tied them up in her vines. Leaving the parents to look for their missing kids.

"Camilo! Antonio!"

"Mirabel! Luisa!"

"Zano! Luna!"

"Helga!"

Angelina calls out, "Miguel! Layla! Gabriela! Where are you, mijos?"

Phobe reply's to her, "Mrs. Mondragón!"

Maria still in fight mode, "Grrr..."

"They're not here they escaped before you arrived to get help," she tells Angie.

"What but where could they be?"

"Hopefully safe and up there... Somewhere." Isabel points to the jungle.

Maria holding Manolo, "Oh." She says worried for her children and grandchildren.

"Excuse me, Mr. Bruno," Olga says, "Is this tablet yours?"

"Well yeah but..." he sees the image, "Guys you might want to see this!"

Everyone looks and gasped, "It's a map!"

"And we know where it leads, come on well use their vehicles! Vamanos!"

The Green-Eyed children are carrying Layla, Gaby, and Miguel on a palanquin, while Zano and Mirabel follow them.

Green-Eyed children go, "Layla..."

"Come on, guys! We need your help! Our friends, and family are prisoners of La Sombra!"

Green-Eyed children just respond, "Miguel..."

"Yeah. We got that."

Mirabel and Zano are sauntering when they bump into the Green-Eyed children, who stop.

"Hey, what's happening?"

The children come to a door, which they open to reveal a truly stunning paradise like El Dorado minus the gold.

"Whoa! The Green-Eyed People's hidden city!"

"Gabriella..."

"Yeah, yeah," Zano imitating the children, "Los Tres..." We get it!"

Green-Eyed children continued, "Los tres... Los tres..."

Mirabel looks a around, "Do you notice anything strange about this place?" she asked Zano, "There are no grownups here."

Green-Eyed girl wearing a strange headdress giggle.

"That's the weird part?!" Zano says to her as she just smiles.

The children lead Miguel, Layla and Gaby to a curtained area. The curtain pulls back to reveal a Green-Eyed girl wearing a very decorative tunic, the top of which is a topiary shaped like the trio's heads.

"Finally, a bigwig in charge!" Zano proclaims.

"Literally." Joked Mirabel.

Green-Eyed Children: Los tres...

"What? She's a kid, too?"

Girl Queen: "Miguel. Layla. Gabriella."

"Please, can you help us?" Miguel asked.

Zano aside, from Mirabel "I don't suppose she habla inglés?"

"Well let's try this," Mirabel goes up to the girl chief, "Hola, necesitamos tu ayuda." The Girl Queen walks right by Mirabel and takes Miguel's hand.

Layla goes, "What the?"

"Figures, men are all the same," Mirabel giggles at Gaby's words.

Zano tells her, "Stop watching those soap operas!"

"Never!" she proclaims as she and Layla run towards them.

The Girl Queen, Miguel, and the others come upon the city's centerpiece. Zano puts some distance between Miguel and the Girl Queen.

"All right, you had your fun now tell us what is going on here?"

"Hey, guys, check it out!" Mirabel points to a mural.

"Looks like the king is... sleeping? Lazy much?" joked Gaby.

"This must be about the sleeping sickness..." Zano concluded.

"That my parents came here to cure," Miguel said.

Girl Queen: "Los tres... kashwa batiqua!"

"Looks like she's giving us the grand tour."

Zano scoffs "It better be grand. We've come a long way for this."

"Look! There's a bunch of people sleeping over here, too!" Layla pointed out.

"So, is this what happened to all the grownups? They're asleep?" Gabriela ponders.

Mirabel and Miguel come upon a mural depicting Miguel's parents.

"Mamá! Papí!" to Girl Queen, "Do you know where they are? Please, show me."

"El dedwa kal dedu. O mashnee wateeb." She points to another mural making the boy gasps, "Oh, my gosh. Zano, these paintings!"

"You're right. These are straight out your dad's journal!" Zano says.

Mirabel pointed out, "Look that's the first time the group brought the serum to the Green Eyes."

"Wow!"

"The cure for the sleeping sickness, but what happened to it," Layla points to a another mural of Javier and Blanca shedding a tear.

"I guess at some point, they didn't have enough." Zano concludes.

"What's going on here?"

"My parents were making more of the cure!"

Girl Queen: "O mashnee wateeb. Kashwa batiqua-al. Nee-fwash."

Miguel gasps at the mural, "It's the Corazón!"

"The treasure La Sombra stole from them before is gold?" Mirabel questions.

"No wonder he wants it," Zano says.

Layla, Gaby and Miguel are focused on the the images in front of a volcano, "Children of the volcano. Is that supposed to be us?"

"Everyone else seems to think so," Zano said tosseling each kid's hair. "Miracle babies."

"Hey look at people on the right and left us!" Miguel pointed out.

"One is dressed like an eagle," Mirabel says "and the other a bat!"

The girl queen points to Zano and Mirabel, "Wait does she think that's us?"

"The priest did say they had protectors." Mirabel says, "Though we're not wearing helmets and they both have face paint."

Girl Queen, "Nee-fwash! Los tres Madrigals! De cori masi pura!"

Green-Eyed children cheer. Two Green Eyes uncork water, which soaks into a well, revealing a green idol. A plank appears, which the young trio walks over.

"What are we supposed to do?"

Girl Queen: "O mashnee wateeb! Katida!"

"I know you want us to do something," Miguel says to the queen.

"But we need more to go on." Added Gaby.

Zano looks at the wheel, "This... whatever-it-is looks like the thing from the painting. See? Up there. In the middle."

"Hey, yeah. And they've got the Corazón there, too." Mirabel added, "The Corazón is in that box."

"But I don't know what to do to open it." Layla says.

La Sombra: "I know what to do! ¡Buenos días, partner!"

Mirabel and Zano move Layla, Gaby, and Miguel away from him.

Green-Eyed children gasp.

Girl Queen: "Parqa main kukui, La Sombra!"

La Sombra: "So you've heard of me. How flattering. Well, I am infamous." Laughs.

"You awful man how did you escape the warriors?" Mirabel asked.

"It was easy I sent a decoy army and tracked you down here." He gasps, "At last. The Corazón. The sacred treasure of the Green-Eyed People is finally mine!"

"No, it's not yours!" Argued Layla.

"We need it!" Gaby said.

"It's got something to do with the sleeping sickness!" Miguel noted to him.

"Oh. Do you think so? Well, it's too late. It's mine now! And you, my fabled niños, led me right to it."

"What?"

"But we ditched your necklace..."

Holds the amulet up, "Oh. You did not realize that I had a magical tracking device? The amulet was a good way to get the spell on you, huh?"

"Gah! Come on!" Zano says, cursing magic. "Where did you learn..."

"A trick I picked up from my last encounter with Madrigals and yes. I used the Green-Eyed People's treasure against them. I thought it was a very clever evil touch. And after centuries of being hidden, you, niños, brought me right to them."

"Where are our friends?!" Zano demanded, "And my sisters!" added Mirabel.

La Sombra taking the treasure, "Ah, don't worry. My guards are keeping an eye on them. The ones in El Dorado no idea. Speaking of which, who is guarding this place?" Sees only children, "Wait. You are all children?"

"Hello! Welcome to five minutes ago!"

"A hidden city, full of treasures and no guards, only children to stop me from taking it all? Why stop at the Corazón?"

"No! You can't take their things!" Argued Layla.

"You're right. Why take anything, when I could bring people here and sell it to them? I could charge admission!" The Girl Queen takes out a knife, "I can see it now: "Hidden City Land."

He gets the knife thrown in the back, "Ow!! How dare you?! Ah!" gets bombarded by Zano and Mirabel along with the other kids, "You meddling— You don't understand capitalism!" Miguel takes the bag and notices the amulet glowing again.

La Sombra throws everyone off of him, "Aah!" draws out his machete and approaches Miguel with it.

Green-Eyed children gasp, with Mirabel Layla, and Gaby.

Zano growls with Col as they approach La Sombra, "You bastard!"

Girl Queen stops them, "Cas dequa!" Not understanding but aware that this is a hostage situation.

"I can see we're not wanted here, Miguel. ¡Vámonos!"

Miguel in unison with his crying cousin, "No!"

"No?" (laughs) "I need you, partner!" he says as he runs off with the boy.

"Miguel!" Zano and Mirabel shout as they go after them. "Girls stay with the queen! Col you guard them!" he growled in agreement, as Estefan went with them.

Away from the city, La Sombra and the still hostage Miguel, reached the rickety rope bridge. La Sombra steps onto a board, which breaks. La Sombra and Miguel scream.

"Come on." La Sombra grabs Miguel, by his backpack strap, and a rope begins to pull apart.

Zano calls, "Miguel!" with Mirabel and Estefan running behind him, "Stop!"

"Wait. Don't!" Miguel warns them as they approach the bridge.

"Oh, shit! Of course, We've got to go out on a stupid rope bridge to save him!"

"Oh, miércoles! I can't believe I'm doing this," La Sombra and Miguel reach the other side and La Sombra pushes Miguel to the ground. La Sombra is about to cut the bridge when Miguel and Estefan stop him.

(gasps) "No!" to Zano and Mirabel "Go back!"

The two teenagers yell as the rope snaps, and they hang on. The other ropes snap and the bridge falls forward as the two scream.

"Tía! Tío! Hang on!" Miguel shouts as they are hanging on to the ropes.

La Sombra laughs, "Come here, volcano boy."

Miguel struggles, "Let me go! Ugh!" Estefan attacks the pirate but the man throws him over the edge, luckily the Staff grabs onto Zano.

"Ha! Let you go? You are the only one of three people who can open it!"

"No! We need to save my family!"

La Sombra brandishing his machete at Miguel, "First, open the Corazón! Then you can play with your little amigos." He says as he gives Miguel the amulet.

Mirabel: "Don't listen to him, Miguel! We're fine!"

Zano: "Yeah, Kid we just love hanging out here!"

"Zano!"

Miguel looks through the amulet, which shows him what to do. He pushes the top, and the head spins revealing a different face.

"Oh..." Miguel pushes the corresponding buttons on the idol. After the head shows another different face, the idol opens its doors revealing the sacred Corazón.

Miguel gasps, "It's the heart of gold!"

La Sombra shoves him. "Out of my way!"

"Oh!" La Sombra sighs, "So beautiful. And it's all mine." The idol changes to an angry face and blows a poisonous dart at La Sombra as he grunts and falls over the cliff, screaming.

Mirabel gasps, "I wanna un-see that."

"I say good riddance."

Estefan moves as Miguel grabs him, "Take the hand! Ugh!"

"Miguel you can't pull us up by yourself!" Mirabel says holding on next to Zano, "I can try! Whoa!" He falls off the side of the cliff and Zano catches him and Estefan. Miguel latches onto Mirabel's back.

Another rope snaps. Zano, Miguel, and Mirabel scream.

Zano and Mirabel look deep into each other's eyes, knowing full well this may be their end. Nodding at each other they made a silent decision and Zano used all his strength to throw Miguel back to safety as the rope broke and the two teens screamed.

Miguel cried for them, "NO!" Miguel is caught by Bruno, "Abuelo? Wait Mira-" Suddenly, vines come down, grabbing Mirabel and Zano.

Isabel: "I got them!"

Eduardo (the real one): "Come on up, mijos!"

An unknown woman: "We'll pull you up!"

"Who's that?"

"Who cares?" They climb up the rope to the silhouetted caballero backed up.

"Tío Bruno!" Mirabel hugs her uncle. "Mirabel thank goodness your all right!" he says as she kisses Miguel's forehead.

"MIRABEL!" her sisters and parents rush over and hugged her tightly.

"Zano!" said the boy's sister Zita, and Chico crushed him with a hug.

Then Camilo and his family arrived with Chiapa and Mariano as they spotted the man and mysterious woman.

"Hey, aren't you...?"

"Eduardo! It's you?" Chico says recognizing the man.

"Hello, my—"

"Wait. How do we know it's Eduardo? For all we know he could be another mustache working with La Sombra?"

"You are welcome to climb back down." Zano releases him.

"Who's that lady?" Miguel asked.

"Hi, I'm Chel, I'm an old friend of your parents," she greets.

"And my wife." Eduardo adds.

"How'd you find us?" During this, Mirabel approaches the idol and stares at the Corazón.

Eduardo: "We have been following you since your class came to San Lorenzo. I suspected that La Sombra would use you to get to the Green-Eyed People somehow. But before we could alert your families, they broke into our place and kidnapped me. I escaped but we got to the dock too late. We had to chase you in another boat."

"Oh! On the river! We thought we were being attacked by pirates." Camilo said.

"No, it was us. We lost you at the rapids, but Chel was able to pick up your trail where you crashed."

"Then we meet up with your friends and your family!"

The rope behind them pulls back.

"I'm so glad you're here!" Miguel says.

"We found the Green-Eyed People's hidden city!" Added Zano.

"It's where my parents disappeared."

"So, then, you have seen them? Javier and Blanca are—are alive?"

"Estefan said they were," Zano says as someone screamed.

La Sombra climbs back over the cliff, his skin is now zombie green from the poisonous dart. "So, you finally caught up to us, Eduardo!" La Sombra says, "You call that a mustache?!"

"Did you think you could get away with this, La Sombra? Javier and his siblings protected the Green-Eyed People from you, and now their family, will too," Bruno smiles sheepishly at this.

La Sombra: "Always so presumptuous." takes a dart out of his forehead, "They're not safe yet!" yells.

Before anyone could intervene Eduardo and La Sombra fight as La Sombra attempts to stick the dart in Eduardo.

Mirabel covers La Sombra's face with her bag, and Zano and Camilo hold him down, but La Sombra kicks them away and unintentionally causes the Corazón to fall off the stone.

Miguel runs after it, "Miguel, no!" everyone cries telling him it's not worth it. Zano pulled him back.

"Oh! Give it to me! It's mine!" The Corazón falls into the mist, lost forever.

Angry La Sombra grabs Zano and shakes him. "You pest! Just like your sisters! I'm going to throw you over the cliff! Go get it!" he wheezes and paused as the poison takes its final toll on La Sombra. He lets go of Zano and plummets into the ravine below.

Eduardo sighs, "He died the way he lived: full of poison."

"The Corazón!" Miguel says, "It was sacred to them! Now it's... gone."

"Hey, Miguelito. We're alive, okay? Now, let's go back to the city and find out what happened to your parents."

"One question: How are we going to get back over there?"

"Um, I prefer the stone bridge myself."

(Pan left to reveal a stone bridge.)

"Well, all right, then."

"Bro where was this good advice when we fell into the waterfall?" joked Chico then sees something move towards them on the bridge "What the!"

"Col!" says Mirable, Zano, Camilo, Antonio, Miguel, and Luisa.

"Col?" The other questioned as the puma arrives with two little girls on top.

Mirabel then noticed a flock of people flying over them, "is that?"

Flying over to, "Layla!" Ignácio and Acacia exclaimed as they hugged the girl. "Mamí! Papí!"

"Gaby!" Angelina and Mateó shout as they hugged they're daughter, "Oh, our baby!" (kisses her head) "you are grounded," they hug her again.

"Angelina! Ignácio!"

"Mateó! Acacia! You finally caught up!"

"Yeah La Sombra sent a lot of those goons but your parents and the citizens are all right," Angelina answered.

"Guys since we're all here I think we need to catch eachother up?" Mirabel suggested.

"Agreed and we can start with the fact that your brother," turns to Chico, "and your sister are alive..."

After everyone was caught up everyone headed to The Hidden City.

Girl Queen waiting for them soon gasps, "Miguel, kamika shua mifash! Rishwah katida?" and then she sees the warriors with their spouses and all the kids cheered in excitement. As she hugs Chico.

"You know her?" Mirabel asked the big man. "Yeah, her mother is my mother's baby sister." Chico replies and then asked, "Pushmura, melisimio akura kasamada?"

Girl Queen to her servants "Conash, miwati!" Turns to the group, "Dewi nomesh, ononio chinomala. Do kui-ui."

"Miguel, your parents are here. She will take us to where they lie." The Green Eyes show them a fortress revealing his parents lying together in a stone bed.

Miguel gasps as he climbs on top of them, "Mamí? Papí? It's me."

Angelina approached him, "Miguel..."

"Are they..."

"No, no. It's the sleeping sickness, from over two years ago." Chico answered.

"But..." Miguel then realized, "Tía Julieta your food!"

"Oh right! Here!" she hands him an arepa, and puts it in his father's mouth.

"Nothing," Then a glow came from Javier making everyone gasps, "what's happening?"

The magic glow spreads to all the sleeping grown-ups and made the ones who looked sick appear healthy again but it after the glow stoped they remained asleep. Making everyone and the green-eyed children sigh in disappointment.

"Why didn't that work?" Estefan started tapping in code which Ignácio translated. "Apparently when Javier caught the sickness he and Estefan placed a spell that would prevent the affected from dying of starvation or reaching anyone else."

"Zano the magic barrier!" Mirabel says to him. "Nació did Estefan..."

"Yes, but it was to protect them from people like La Sombra and protect the children." Ignácio says as Estefan continues, "But it was getting weaker and the grown-ups were close to death so when Miguel gave Javier the food..."

"It restored the spell and they're health!"

"But they're still asleep."

"Oh, Miguel it's okay there's still the cure," Acacia comforts the boy and turns to Eduardo, "By the way, what happened to it?"

Mirabel added, "Yeah according to the pictures they made more, and did something with them."

"Like what?"

"It had to do with that big stone wheel thingy in the temple."

"Queen What's her name got to know about it."

Girl Queen: "Nası kotu do kui-ui."

Eduardo to the trio, "They believe that you three are the ones to open the Corazón, and with the heart of gold inside, you would awaken the sleeping parents and reunite them with their children."

"The Corazón... was the cure?" said Gaby.

"But... it went over the cliff," Miguel says.

"We have to tell her what happened," Layla says sad at the news.

"Posamari marisamore La Sombra."

Girl Queen starts crying. Miguel and the Green-Eye children start sobbing, while Mirabal and Zano look distraught along with the others. Bruno, went to hug his sobbing grandson, while Ignácio consoled Layla, and Angelina consoled Gaby.

"Mi coreda!"

"But, they're alive! There's got to be a way to wake up your parents!" Camilo exclaimed.

Mirabel suddenly gets an idea and runs off. "Mirabel!" Her parents and sisters exclaimed as everyone went after her.

The temple

Mirabel approaches the stone wheel. Zano comes behind her, "Mirabel, what are you doing?"

"This must be it! Miguel, Layla, and Gaby were supposed to put the heart of gold here, and then, something would happen."

"I know what this is. These are the controls to a machine Javier told me about. The Green-Eyed People would put herbal formulas in the center altar, and the machine would spread them aromatically."

"My mama and papa knew about this!"

"It's just like in the mural!"

"So, instead of herbs..." Mirabel gasps "Look! They put the cure right here, so it could cure the whole city at once!"

"Ah, genius!"

"If that is the case why didn't the queen do this before? Aside from being young." Alma inquired.

Chel explains to her, "After the last time La Sombra stole the corizon the adults placed it in a box that only the children of the volcano could open."

"Unfortunately they also couldn't open it."

"Drastic, but understandable."

"And effective, it killed the creep."

"But, without the heart of gold, the Green Eyes... my parents... they can't be cured."

"I... might have something that would work," Mirabel reveals her locket, "It's, uh, a heart" The young trio looks at her in hope, "I think it could fit but this is gold-plated. It's not a very pure heart."

"Our parents use to tell us that your heart... is purer than you know." Says Layla as she Miguel and Gaby hold her hand.

Mirabel smiles and gives Miguel the locket. He attempts to place it in the center of the wheel, with a little bit of difficulty. Layla and Gaby give him a hand and they turn the locket and it locks in place, causing the city to rumble.

Girl Queen: "Rishwa katida!"

Green-Eyed children cheer as The machine continues to work and opens all the roofs of the sleeping parents.

Girl Queen: "Hashwa ropasa watash!"

An eruption geyser occurs in the center temple.

Girl Queen: "Miguel, Layla, Gaby, humish ginoma sapura! Batiqua nee-fwash. Wata kui-UI!" The butterflies begin to awaken.

"Pepa look the water's being absorbed in the clouds," Félix points to his wife who is staring in awe at the machine. "and it's raining down the cure!"

"Healing rain!"

Girl Queen: "Bodash, leewa tidi, nee-fwash!"

Green-Eyes cheer.

"Okay, what's going on?"

"There are butterflies. Wait, could that mean...?" Miguel runs down to check. The Green-Eyed adults all begin to wake up and reunite with their children, as Miguel runs.

In the room Javier and Blanca awake and see Miguel and smile, "Hey... Míguelas." Miguel approaches his parents and hugs them, as butterflies fly into the sky, which clears.

Estefan joins in the celebration happy to see his friends awake. "Hey Estefan you missed us?" the stick taps yes and suggests... "All right now," Javier grabs him and taps on the floor making the butterflies glow gold and surround the Madrigals outside.

"Abuela, look!" Mirabel says to her grandmother as the golden Butterflies surrounded the whole city. "My goodness! It's just like..."

"Back home," Mirabel finished for her as they hug, then she notices Miguel walking with his parents. Layla and Gaby gasp in joy, "It's them!"

Ignácio and Angelina rush to their brother and embrace him, "Hey guys," he says as they squeeze him. "We're so sorry we thought..."

"No, I didn't tell you because we knew you were needed back home," Javier assures them as he sees someone he hasn't seen in ten years, "Papá?" Bruno is pensive but happy to see his children together again. Yet he is afraid that Javier might not be as forgiving as...

His grandchildren pushed him toward their parents for a long overdue reunion. Bruno is then embraced by his triplets as they all shared an emotional reunion followed by the other Madrigals and they're extended family.

Javier in joy surprise to see all the Madrigals here, "I can't believe you all left the village."

Alma clears her throat, "When your magic house tells you to go you listen."

Javier astonished by her joke looks to his siblings and father, "Okay this I got to hear!"

"Look at our family they got a new foundation,"

"It took a while but they got it just in time,"

"Look our children each a guiding star,"

"They lead us back to you!"

The triplets kids to Mirabel, "She made our family whole,"

"We did it all as one," Mirabel says including Zano who adds, "All without a gift."

"And I'm sorry I let you go, so afraid you'd end up like me! When I heard of the wars it tore my heart! But you made it through!" Bruno says.

"Your love was in our hearts, even miles apart what keep us through it all was the good times with you! just you!"

"Not some gift just you! All of you!"

"Now we're together and they all know the truth," Angie tells him.

"Ama it..." Alma shushes him, "I know your siblings explained to me, "Javi, I am so sorry for my behavior I was just so afraid."

"Ama we forgave you for your transgressions a long time ago but that night all of us were so angr. you just..."

"I know you tired to make me see it sooner. Unfortunately, it took a whole house to fall on me to get it through!" she joked.

"Can you ever..."

"There's nothing to forgive, you're my grandbabies," she says as she hugs her son's triplets. "And I am so proud you found your own way!"

While someone holds up Bruno's tablets to the family's reunion and says, "Finally the visions have come to this day!"

Later that evening The Girl Queen's mother retrieves the crown that is rightfully hers, and she is happily reunited with the Green-Eyed People's rulers.

Green-Eyed People shout, Los tres Madrigals... Los tres Madrigals... Los tres Madrigals... Los tres Madrigals... Los tres Madrigals...

Among them are Miguel's Grandparents welcoming their Allies and family back. Also, Luna's class and Miguel's family are present as well.

"Looks like you and the girls finished the work we started, Miguel," Blanca says to her son.

Javier hugs him, "I'm so proud of you, son."

"So are we," Angelina said to her daughter and sobrinos.

Maria to her youngest children, "Zano I am so proud that you protected them till the end."

"And Luna you helped the others protect El dorado!" Manolo says in pride to his youngest child.

Gerald, "Mm-mm-mm. Now I've seen everything!"

Everyone shares a laugh.

"Good one, Gerald."

Zano notices Mirabel is absent and she her heading back to the temple.

Mirabel walks over to the device and attempts to unlatch the locket from the wheel.

"Hey, Mirabel"

"Ah! Hey, Zano"

The arrow Mirabel was using drops and she kicks it away.

"Here let me help you" he picks up the arrow and pops the locket out of the wheel. "Thank you," Mirabel says as she goes to pick it up but then she notices something. Mirabel gasps, "What is it?" Zano asks, "It's open..." she says as she picks it up and sees what's inside.

"Our dearest Mariposa we hope this locket will remind you that you are blessed with love and that you are stronger than you will ever know. We wish we could stay by your side but fate has other plans. We hope this picture will give you hope that you have a family and they are always proud of you!" she reads as she looks at the picture next to the scripture. It's the photo they all took with them on her fifth birthday, "I remember this," she gasps as she recalls that day's memory and the song they sang to her.

"Remember me..." She sings softly as she stumbles luckily Zano catches her, "Woah! Easy there little butterfly, what-"

"I remember! Zano, I remember when the picture inside the locket was taken! And I remember... the night they left," she says as tears fall down her cheeks letting out all the pain she didn't she had all these years added to the one she was resolved with the family.

"Hey, Mirabel they're all right, and thanks to your heart they're all together again," Zano says as he wipes her tears away as they stare deeply into each other's eyes. "Zano I feel so confused and happy at the same time!"

"I know the feeling but let's just focus on the fact that, Miguel has his parents, Bruno has his children, and you helped bring down a criminal empire," He listed, "You, with no super strength or Venus fly traps just you!"

Mirabel giggles at his words, "Thanks for the pep talk." She says as he helps her stand up.

Zano now holding Mirabel's hands, kisses her cheek. Making the girl blush.

"Mm-mm-mmm!"

Zano and Mirabel pull away from each other as Miguel giggles innocently with Chapa. The pair of teens blink moving apart while blushing.

Antonio on Parce, with Layla, and Gaby went, "OOOOOH!" and giggled impishly.

"Okay, now I've seen everything!"

"You saw nothing!" Zano threatened as the boy nervously smiled with his hands in front of him causing everyone to laugh.

Javier and Blanca sigh and look lovingly at each other. Mirabel smiles at the couple and Miguel hugs their legs, happy that the family of three had reunited at last and that she got to be a part of it.

"Hey aren't we supposed to be having a fiesta!" grandpapí shouts.

"Uno, dos, tres, hit it!"
