Just finishing off a high-profile case Annabeth Chase, an investigator for the Senate, crosses paths with a Jedi Knight. After tracking him down she is drawn deep into the conflict between the Jedi and Sith Council. Before long the lines between friend and foe quickly become indistinguishable.

At the age of sixteen, everyone presents as Alpha, Beta or Omega. Percy was always expected to be a leader - as a child of Poseidon he was unlikely to be anything else - so it wasn't a surprise for him when he turned out as an alpha. He doesn't think much about what's expected of him, until he's almost buried alive with an omega. The gods can hardly blame him for what happens.

"Hey, Princess." She tries to hold back an audible groan while pointedly ignoring what has become the bane of her existence, Percy Jackson. "What do you want, Jackson?" Let the games begin.

"Hey," Percy said gently. "It'll be okay, I promise. Why don't you want to sleep?" Annabeth was trembling. "I can't get this fear out of my head," she whispered, "that I'm going to wake up and you'll be gone again."
