7. Taking Shots

I am walking out of the cookhouse. Angie is standing in front of the cookhouse.

"Okay girls, today we're going to do archey." She announces. We all smile.

We are at the archery range. There is a purple arrow with a green tip and feathers on the ground.

"Okay girls, a few rules. First, only aim at the targets. Don't aim at people or animals. Second, when you retrieve your arrows, walk like a zombie, like this." Angie starts. She picks up the arrow on the ground. She grabs the tip and ends. She walks forward.

"Okay, you can shoot now!". I grab a pink bow off the wooden wall. I grab six pink arrows with green tips from a cupholder on the wall. I go up to the dark green line. I nock an arrow. I shoot. I get a bullseye. The same thing happens with the other five targets. I put my bow back. I go past the line. I pull my arrows off the targets. I go back.

Esmerelda grabs a purple bow off the wooden wall. She grabs six purple arrows with yellow tips. She goes up to the dark green line. She nocks an arrow. She shoots. She gets a bullseye. The same thing happens with the other five targets. She goes past the line. She pulls her arrows off the targets. She goes back.

Kida grabs a light blue bow off the wooden wall. She grabs six light blue arrows with orange tips. She goes up to the dark green line. She nocks an arrow. She shoots. She gets a bullseye. The same thing happens with the other five targets. She goes past the line. She pulls her arrows off the targets. She goes back.

Mirabelle grabs a green bow off the wooden wall. She grabs six green arrows with red tips. She goes up to the dark green line. She nocks an arrow. She shoots. She misses. She goes to the next target. She shoots. She gets a bullseye. The same thing happens with the other four targets. She goes past the line. She pulls her arrows off the targets. She goes back.

Mei Mei grabs a red bow off the wooden wall. She grabs six red arrows with green tips. She goes up to the dark green line. She nocks an arrow. She shoots. She misses. She goes to the next target. She shoots. She gets a bullseye. The same thing happens with the other four targets. She goes past the line. She pulls her arrows off the targets. She goes back.

"Good job, girls. You can put your bows and arrows back.". I hang my bow back on the wall. I put my arrows back in the cupholder. Esmerelda hangs her bow back on the wall. She puts her arrows back in the cupholder.
