Silver's POV

We both woke to someone knocking frantically on the door.

"Silver! Silver it's me! I know you're in there."

It was Legolas. I hurriedly dressed and went to the door. I only opened it a crack.

"What is it?"

"First, I am happy for you. Second, there's been an incident."

"What incident?"

Eomer was soon at my side.

"All will be explained. But she cannot be found here like this. Unless you want Aragorn to hit you. And believe me, he will."

"I believe that should be avoided."

I turned to Eomer and smiled.

"I'd never allow that. Come find me, as soon as everything calms down."

He pulled me to his chest and quickly kissed me.

"I promise."

I smiled and Legolas pulled me from the room. He brought me out to the Golden Hall where everyone was gathered. Pippin looked scared and even guilty.

"Pip?"

I walked over to him and knelt down.

"I should never have looked. I just couldn't help it."

I sighed and hugged him. It was that damn seeing stone.

"It probably tempted you in it's own way. That thing is evil. This is not your fault. Look at me."

He did so but reluctantly. He looked so guilty. I heard Eomer walk in but Pippin needed me.

"You were raised in a good place. Before all this you hobbits never had to put up with anything evil or corrupt. You never should have had to. I need you to promise me that you won't blame yourself. For whatever reason, this was meant to happen."

He nodded.

"Promise me."

'I promise."

I smiled and kissed his forehead. When I faced Eomer he smiled at me. Gandalf explained what had happened with the Palantir.

"He knows the heir of Elendil has come forth, men are not as weak as he supposed. And that he has an heir of his own. There is courage still. And strength, enough perhaps to challenge him. Sauron fears this. He will not risk the people's of Middle-Earth uniting under one banner. He was raise Minas Tirith to the ground before he sees a king or even a queen return to the throne of men. If the beacons are lit, Rohan must be ready for war."

"Tell me, why should we ride to the aid of those who did not come to ours?" everyone looked at Theoden. "What do we owe Gondor?"

I managed to stay silent, but I only did so for Eomer.

"I will go."

"No!"

"They must be warned!" my father said.

"What about me? I'm a fast rider."

"Neither of you will go. I ride for Minas Tirith. And I won't be going alone."

He looked directly at Pippin. Legolas came over to me I saw the smile in his eyes.

"~Truly I am happy the two of you have finally come together.~"

I smiled and hugged him tightly. When we separated we saw Eomer walk to his uncle. He said something and the king looked at me. I did not look away, only smiled a bit. He called my father to him and Eomer spoke with him as well.

"You're closer, what're they saying?" I asked Legolas.

"He speaks of his desire to court you. Theoden has no objections to this."

"You what!?"

I closed my eyes as my father shouted in surprise.

"Silver!"

I held my head up high as I walked over.

"Ada."

"I know you heard everything."

"Yes, pretty much. I also knew beforehand."

"Oh you did?"

"Eomer and I spoke last night. We both want this."

As I spoke Eomer took my hand in his.

"~Silver do you know what it means for a man to court a woman here?~"

I smiled and looked at Eomer.

"Yes I do. And it was more than I could have hoped for. Ada I've thought about him every day since he gave us those horses. I know I haven't known him for very long...~but I think you understand what I feel better than anyone.~"

He looked at Legolas.

"~You knew about this.~"

"~It was not my secret to share. She loves him. I know you see it.~"

He sighed and nodded.

"Very well. You have my blessing to court my daughter, if this is what she truly wishes."

"It is." I said.

He smiled a little.

"You know all I want is your happiness. But please, do not rush into anything."

I hugged my father.

"Hannon le, ada!"

"I love you, Silver. He is a good man, a great warrior. You will always be safe with him."

I looked at Eomer again and jumped into his arms.

"We must make an announcement. Most joyous news a midst the pain of war. Eomer Marshall of the Mark and Lady Silver, Princess of Elves and Men."

"Thank you, uncle."

"You've chosen wisely. I doubt you would ever find another woman as incredible as Lady Silver."

Eomer chuckled and so did I.

"He told me the very same thing yesterday."

"I will have the announcement made this evening."

Eomer turned me towards him as Theoden and my father walked away.

"Are you happy?" he asked me.

I laid my hands against his hard chest.

"More than I've ever been."

He leaned down and kissed my lips softly. He moved one of his hands into my hair and his fingers brushed against the tip of my ear. Something inside me started to snap.

"Eomer..."

"Mm?"

"Come with me. Quickly." I said.

I took his hand and we went back to his room. I blocked the door and then turned and kissed him fiercely. He grunted as I pushed him against the wall, but he did not push me away or try to ask what I was doing. He responded enthusiastically! I leaned back to look at him.

"Are you particularly fond of this shirt?"

He smirked and handed me a dagger. I smiled and cut the shirt off him. He didn't rip my shirt, though I could tell he wanted to. Probably because I didn't have another one. He pulled it from my pants then off of me. My bindings he did cut off me. I laughed and he yanked off my boots and pants before lifting me into his arms. He took one of my breasts into his mouth as he held me against the wall. I lifted his face so I could kiss him and the reached down to his pants. Once they were loose I reached inside and wrapped my fingers around his pulsing cock. He groaned and swung me around to set me on a table. He used one arm to clear the table and then laid me back. He kissed me, his tongue sliding into my mouth with ease. I continued to work him with my hand until he grabbed my wrist and pinned it above me.

"Have I toyed with you too much?" I asked.

"Toy with me anymore and I won't last." He said.

I smiled and sat up, kissing him hard as I did.

"Come with me." I said against his lips.

I brought him to the bed and then pushed him down on it. He smiled as I settled myself on top of him. I couldn't wait and took him inside me, both of us crying out as he stretched me.

"Touch me, Eomer! Please!" I begged.

His rough hands covered my breasts as I started to ride him.

"Silver! Faster Silver!" he groaned.

I held onto one muscular thigh as I rode him harder and faster than I thought myself capable. His thumbs teased my nipples until both were pebbled and hard. He sat up and I knotted my fingers in the hair at his neck. He was pulsing inside me and I was close.

Eomer's POV

I didn't know what I'd done to cause her to behave like this. I'd kissed her in the hall. Had I done something with her hair? No! Her ears! She was riding me hard and I leaned forward to nibble her lobe. I looked back into her eyes and found a wild look within them. I smiled as I leaned back and licked up the edge of her ear. She all but screamed my name and pushed me back down, kissing me as though she'd never do so again. Her tongue danced with mine and I continued to stroke and caress her beautiful ears. She leaned back and cried my name as she tightened around me, her walls drawing my own climax. I sat up and continued to pump myself inside her as she fell against my chest. I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her shoulder.

"Did you know that me touching your ears ever so lightly would cause this?"

"No." she said breathlessly.

I smiled a bit.

"Can you move?"

"No."

I laughed and laid back down, her in my arms, still inside her warmth. After a few minutes she looked at me.

"Eomer?"

"My love?"

"Do you believe your uncle will ignore Gondor?"

Sometimes I forgot, she was also an heir of Isildur. And heir to the throne of Gondor.

"I don't want you to worry about that. He is angry, we've lost many people to the treachery of Saruman. But he will do what is right."

She kissed my chest, my shoulder, my neck and finally my lips. I cradled the back of her head as her lips moved slowly with mine. Once more she laid her head against my chest and soon fell asleep. Carefully, so as not to wake her, I untangled myself from her arms and pulled the blanket over her. I kissed her softly.

"I love you." I whispered.

I left the room quietly and went to find her elven friend. I found him with the dwarf in the great hall. He looked up as I approached.

"I wondered if I might have a word?"

I nodded and we walked off.

"Silver?"

"Resting."

I saw a smirk on the elf's face.

"Please tell me you didn't hear."

"Only the beginning. I took a walk after that."

I sighed in relief.

"May I ask what you did to get her to drag you away in such a manner? Or shall I venture a guess that you accidentally touched her ears?"

I nodded.

"I see. For the elves, our ears are the most sensitive parts of our bodies. A simple touch is enough, especially from those we give our hearts too. Was this what you wished to speak of?"

I nodded.

"She did not even know."

He nodded.

"Silver is... unique. She loves with all her heart and soul. She fights with all her strength and she will always put the needs of other before her own. She knows much but there are a few things she does not know."

He seemed a bit troubled.

"If it's important, if it involves her safety I would have you tell me."

"An elf can give their heart only once. Do not mistake me, I believe you when you say you love her. But if you should die, she will die as well. Elves can be slain by blade or arrow, but also of a broken heart. Therefore she will never allow you to ride into battle without her. I never told her this because I never wanted her to fear love. Not like me. I have seen many I know lose the ones they love. My own mother was lost to my father and I. But I tell you this so you may take extra care."

Knowing this made me love Silver even more.

"How could I ever be worthy of such a woman?"

He smirked.

"Was there anything else?"

"One more thing... the woman who gave her that wound... was she punished for it?"

The elf's eyes darkened at the mention of the woman.

"Not to my satisfaction. She should be dead for what she took from Silver."

"Took? What do you mean took?"

He seemed to realize he said something he shouldn't have.

"She did not tell you."

"She told me this woman nearly killed her. What more did she do?"

He did not want to tell me, that much was clear.

"Please. I could not bear to see the sadness on her face if I asked her."

He closed his eyes and very quietly said,

"She may never be able to bear a child."

My eyes widened.

"Was... was this something she wanted?"

"Yes. Very much."

I fell against the wall.

"They locked that vile woman away for the rest of her life. She will never be free. She'll die in a cell."

That didn't change what she did to Silver. It didn't help.

"I know it is of little comfort. Would you still court a woman who cannot bear an heir?"

I scowled at the elf, though I knew he was only looking out for her.

"What sort of question is that? I love her! Not what her body can give me or my country."

He nodded.

"That's all I wanted to hear. Forgive me, I needed to know. I am very protective of her. She is my dearest friend. I failed to protect her once, I will never do so again."

I nodded and left him.

Silver's POV

Eomer wasn't next to me when I woke up.

Probably busy.

I stretched out and then sat up looking for my clothes. Then I remembered he'd cut away my bindings. I actually smiled at the memory.

"Worth it." I whispered.

I laid back and replayed what had just happened in my head.

"Completely worth it!"

"What was worth it?"

I didn't even hear Eomer came back in. I smiled as he sat down beside me. I picked up what used to be my bindings.

"Ah, yes. I agree, it was more than worth it."

I smiled and he leaned forward to kiss me. There was something different about his kiss.

"Eomer?"

"Did you sleep well?" he asked.

I knew this wasn't what he wanted to say.

"I've never slept better than when I'm with you. Now what's wrong?"

"It's nothing my elven jewel. My uncle has planned a grand announcement and celebration in honor of us this evening-"

He trailed off as he looked back into my eyes.

"Do not lie to me, Eomer." I said in a low voice.

A pained look came to his face. MY anger dissipated and I grew concerned.

"Eomer?"

"If... if I am to say this then please, let me hold you."

I would never deny him that. I let him take me in his arms and he cradled me. I felt his fingers gently touch my scar.

"The elf prince told me what you did not." he said.

MY heart seemed to stop. A million thoughts began to race through my head, each worse than the one before. I tried to get out of Eomer's embrace but he held me tightly to him.

"I'll kill him! He never should've told you!"

"Stop... stop Silver!"

I couldn't bring myself to look at Eomer. Surely he wouldn't want me now. A broken woman who could give him no heirs, no sons.

"He didn't mean to tell me. I wanted to know that the woman who did this to you was properly punished. He told me she wasn't punished enough for what she took from you. I was unaware that she'd taken anything from you. He didn't want to tell me and I demanded to know. I never wanted to see you in pain. MY beautiful elven jewel... your sadness is my greatest pain."

He covered the scar with his hand.

"What angers me is that she took from you something you desired. Something I would have gladly given you when the time is right. Knowing that I cannot give you something so precious makes me feel as though I failed you. I know what you must fear but don't. Whether you can bear children or not is of no concern to me. It is you that I love, not what your body can give me. That will never change."

I finally looked into his eyes. He wasn't lying. Every word he said was true. He gently wiped my tears away and kissed my forehead.

"You could never fail me." I said.

I kissed him and poured all my love into it. When I leaned back I pressed my forehead against his.

"I should have told you, I was scared."

"Never be afraid to tell me anything. I want you to tell me everything. I want to share everything in your life, and I would share everything with you."

I smiled.

"Keep talking like that and I won't make it through tonight's celebrations."

He chuckled and ran his fingers through my hair.

"I wish for all to see how happy you have made me. I want them to know that one day you will be a great and compassionate queen."

I wasn't expecting him to say queen.

"With my cousin gone, I am my uncle's heir. You are the heir to the throne of Gondor. You know what this means."

I nodded and smiled a bit.

"I think we make a rather regal couple don't you?"

He laughed and so did I.
