Capital Wasteland/Megaton
Waking up in one of the common houses beds within Megaton was Gabriel who slept in his normal vault uniform. When he returned to the city, he was too exhausted to speak with Moira about what he learned and instead he just went to a common house and crashed into one of the free beds for a long sleep after taking some of the chems he was given from Lesko.
A side-effect of cybernetics is that your body isn't used to it and tries to fight it instead of adjusting, so Gabriel was given 'Blockers' to stop his body from attacking his Cyberware. The blockers also helped put him to sleep and raise his drug resistance ability which was a good and bad thing since that meant that chems might not be able to work as effectively in the future.
[Greetings, while you slept your game system has been updated to version 1.22B. Perks and skills have been altered and enhanced, you now have access to new perks based on your Mass energy, your MP bar has been changed into a ME bar of mass energy instead of magic which is something entirely different.
Certain injuries can no longer be healed by a long rest, and you can now have scars on your body from certain injuries.
Also, quests will now be classified accordingly to importance.]
"That explains the pain." Gabriel said to himself as he slowly got out of bed and felt the pain from his burns acting up.
He made sure the burns were clean and disinfected before he went to sleep and managed to use a workbench in this common house to scrap his destroyed vault security guard suit to make into rags to cover his torso and hands, but he didn't really have much else he could do for his burns. So, he just grits his teeth before he left the common house and walked away from most of the people until he hid in a secluded area where he accessed his inventory and took out a blank holotape before placing it in his Pip-Boy as he wrote down everything he learned yesterday.
"I really hope Moira appreciates this stuff." Gabriel said to himself as he typed into the blank holotape for a bit before he ejected it. "Now I have to take on the super-duper mart. But first I talk to Bryan about his home." Gabriel said before he made his way over to one of Megaton's food stands run by a small family and Bryan eating breakfast at the stand.
A cup of noodles with meat bits which smelled and sounded good to Gabriel right now, but he dealt with the harsh reality that he didn't have any currency…It was nothing short of a miracle that Gabriel kept fighting for as long as he did since he realized that he was under the Starvation debuff.
It made sense since Gabriel hasn't been able to actually sit down and eat for a while, but after some thought Gabriel realized why he was just now hitting his limits. His perk Gamers Body allowed him to push himself harder than most, but not indefinitely, and it seems that he has reached the wall of his endurance.
"Your back." Bryan said with a smile and hope in his voice as he quickly walked up to Gabriel. "Did you kill those ants?"
"Yup. The ants have been dealt with, but I don't think it would be safe for you to go back to that place. Animals or raiders might take over since there is nobody left to defend the town." Gabriel said back grimly as Bryan looked down with a sad expression.
"You're right about that. I just wish that my dad could have survived like I did. But you killed those ants, so thank you, and I'm sorry but I don't really have anything I can give you as a reward." Bryan said before Gabriel's stomach let out a loud rumble.
"Buy me a bowl of those noodles and you can call us even." Gabriel said before the two of them walked back up to the stand where Bryan actually had enough credits to buy Gabriel a bowl of food, and to Gabriel the food tasted like sweet and spicy heaven.
The food in the vault couldn't compare to this, and when Gabriel asked what it was, he was told that it was a standard sweet and spicy ramen ration from the united solar systems wasteland funds. Which was basically people from other worlds dropping off supplies to trade caravans, but Gabriel didn't care right now and simply finished his food and drunk the broth to help get rid of his Dehydration debuff as well.
The effects were lessened, and Gabriel felt a bit better, but he was still in the red in terms of status effects as he saw a new screen appear in front of him.

Gabriel said to himself before he headed outside of Megaton and took a deep breath before equipping his undamaged version of the vault security guard uniform with the head visored helmet as well. "After this I don't have any armor, and I need to serious get some credits for supplies." Gabriel said to himself before he decided to take the time and upgrade his stats once again.

Gabriel said to himself and honestly it made sense since he felt so weak, but he didn't realize just how bad it had been affecting him until now. "I need to think carefully about how I allocate my points and what perks I should get."

"That's my stats taken care of, but now for the more difficult thing." Gabriel said before looking over his perk list to see what was available to him. The list has several perks for the taking based on his level, stats and overall skills, but a few perks caught his attention.

"Whoa." Gabriel said as he could feel the change in his body. He felt cold but it wasn't in an uncomfortable way, instead it felt as if he had adapted to the cold and cold live in the frost for the rest of his life with no issue.
His breath even gave up a fog like breath. Like the one summer when the vault temperature machines broke, and it got so cold that people could see their breaths or get frostbite.
Gabriel felt good like this and almost on instinct he knew how he could add cold properties to his Mass energy. Like it was instinctual to him.
"Now, how the hell am I going to take on the super-duper mart?" Gabriel asked himself in thought before his stomach rumbled making him groan a bit sadly from hunger and thirst. Hence why he was having a bit of a hard time getting his thoughts together. "I can't come up with a plan, so I guess I'll just have to wing it…But that is extremely stupid and dangerous, so the best thing I can do is try and sneak in and not go noticed."
After deciding on how he would handle things, Gabriel made his way back to the super-duper mart with no issue and was standing outside the doors before noticing two nuka cola vending machines near the entrance.
"I wonder if the old vault vending machine trick works outside the vault." Gabriel said as he walked over to the vending machine and lightly punched the side of the machine three times to try and get the sodas out of the machine.
Gabriel hit a specific spot on the machine, but sadly the machine didn't give him any nuka cola.
"Damn." Gabriel said before he sighed and got low to the ground before entering the dimly lit store. His time using stealth in that massive subway nearby let him have a decent level of stealth that he could use as he reached into his inventory and took out his 10mm pistol.
Gabriel could see that the place was dark and that two raiders were walking along the paths on top of the aisles of the store. Gabriel stayed low to the ground as he moved and quickly hid in on the opposite side of one of the aisles that lead down a pathway towards a pathway to the left and a small area down the path and coming out of the left passageway is a raider armed with a large knife.
Gabriel didn't hesitate and he activated V.A.T.S to get the best chance of hitting and he managed to shoot his pistol at the raider's chest two times to bring him down to the ground.
"The fuck was that?" A raider asked as Gabriel quickly moved down the pathway the raider came from and saw that it led to two of the stores bathrooms and he quickly hid inside of the man's bathroom by the door.
Gabriel could hear at least two raiders talking and putting the other raiders in the store on high alert. One of them came down near the bathrooms as Gabriel waited patiently before the raider stepped into the bathroom and Gabriel took the moment to fire two more rounds into the raiders side, putting him down before he quickly moved out of the bathroom and stepped into the hall before activating V.A.T.S once again and narrowly avoided a bullet flying past his head as he fired a single shot that took the raiders head off.
"They know I'm here now." Gabriel said before he quickly heard more footsteps coming, so he went up to the edge of the hallway and leaned against the right wall where he heard the steps coming from. So, he activated his Frost Aura and felt the cold inside him exit through his body and create an icy fog that quickly shrouded the localized space around him.
"Fuck he's got chrome!" One of the raider's said before Gabriel felt a large impact against his chest, knocking him down a bit as he looked up and saw that standing on the closet aisle was one of the raiders with a pipe rifle in his hands, that thankfully jammed before he could fire again as Gabriel shot at the raider and knocked him off the aisle with a few bullets. The result was Gabriel getting more EXP when the raider hit the ground. Most likely landing headfirst.
"Come out here and fight like a real man you fuck head." One of the raiders said before Gabriel stepped out of the corner when he heard the raider get close. The raider was shivering as he rushed Gabriel with a lead pipe in his hand. Gabriel responded by kicking the raider back with a strong boot before he fired three rounds into him.
Gabriel could see clearly through his frosty fog and saw two raiders running away from the cold. Gabriel rushed after them and saw that the duo stood near a small corner with what looked like grenades on the counter.
The raiders reached for them, and Gabriel activated his V.A.T.S instantly and focused on the grenades. With one lucky shot he hit the grenade in one of the raider's hands which caused a chain reaction and caused the other explosives to go off. Gabriel then noticed how quiet the super-duper mart became while he still kept his aura up in case someone was hiding.
Gabriel quickly moved around the store in search of anyone left and found that nobody had been left alive.
"That was something." Gabriel said with a groan as he rubbed his chest. The protective vault vest saved him from a shot near his heart, but damn it still hurt. "Now, let's see what there is to loot around here." Gabriel said before he looted all the supplies from the raiders before finding the back storage area where they kept a stockpile of food, water, ammunition, medicine and medical gear.
Even different nuka cola flavors were being hoarded in the storage room. However, the most surprising thing he found was a robot in a containment pod next to a large counter holding a computer along with a few grenades.
3x Frag Grenades
"Well, at least now I have some supplies I can use and bring to Moira." Gabriel said before he took a long sip of some nuka cola before taking out a can of potted meat that he started eating.
So, shortly after taking time to eat properly, drink and count the number of credits he earned from looting the raiders, Gabriel made his way back to Megaton.
Gabriel also learned that credits were in the form of cylinder-shaped cartridges. They ranged from cylinders in multiplications of tens with ten being the lowest and one hundred being the highest.

"Wonderful. You archived a lot of data for me and cleared out the super-duper mart. But I've got to ask, where did you hide the items?" Moira asked after Gabriel handed her the holotapes he wrote in.
"Trade secret I'm afraid. But just know that they are in a safe place."
"Trade secrets huh? Well, considering the fact that you gave me several medical supplies to stock that haven't been used, I'll choose to believe you for now." Moira said back with a smile of her own. "So, as a little bonus I'll throw in a little something extra." Moria said before she reached up towards the hanging vault suit behind her. "This was given to me by another Vault dweller a few years ago, and now I think it would suit you."
"Seriously? I couldn't take something like that from you. Isn't it special to you if you kept it for so long?" Gabriel asked while Moira snicked.
"It is special, but I'm not a Vault dweller, so I've been keeping it as decoration. I insist you take it, along with this little guy." Moria said before putting the vault suit on the counter along with a small square device. "This little guy is a food sanitizer, designed to absorb radiation from food and water within a certain vicinity. Although it might make the food taste funny, but I promise you it's completely safe."
"Thanks Moira." Gabriel said with a smile before he picked up both items and made his way out of the shop.

"Great to know. Also, if there was a part one for the quest, why didn't Moira ask me for any more favors?" Gabriel asked himself in confusion. "Maybe this next part requires some time before I can start doing the quest. But right now, I need to focus and talk to Moriarty again." Gabriel said to himself with narrowed eyes before he made his way back to the bar.
"Well, if it isn't the little baby." Moriarty said in a taunting manner while Gabriel gave him a sharp look before he made his way over to the counter.
"I want information about my father." Gabriel said to the old man who smirked.
"I told you last time kid. If you want info you need to pay up." Moriarty said before Gabriel reached into his pocket and pulled out the credits from his inventory.
"There. It's all there, so give me the information I need." Gabriel said in a stern voice while Moriarty was mildly shocked by Gabriel's actions and gave a silent look to his hired goons to stand down.
"I am a businessman kid, and it seems that business is good. Your father came around here asking about the state of the wasteland, and he headed off to Galaxy News Radio to speak with that Three-Dog fellow." Moriarty said before Gabriel turned around to leave before he saw a blonde woman motioning for him to come towards her seat.
"Can I help you?"
"Hopefully you can. The names Lucy West and I was here last time Moriarity's goons roughed you up. Do you mind if we talk outside?" Lucy asked and Gabriel thought about that question for a moment before his conscious won out over his skepticism.
"Sure." Gabriel said before they walked out and a fair distance away from the bar.
"Sorry about the change in location, but Moriarty has eyes and ears all over that bar. Now, I wanted to talk to you because I need your help to deal with Moriarty." Lucy said before Gabriel quickly replied.
"If you're looking for an assassin you can forget asking me anything."
"What? No, I'm not trying to kill the bastard. Even if he does have it coming. I'm talking to you because Moriarty's got dirt on almost everyone in Megaton. It's the reason why Lucas has such a hard time dealing with him, because he has basically forced so many people to back him up and keep him out of trouble." Lucy explained and that reminded Gabriel of the society inside Vault 101.
"That bastard really is no good. But what do you expect me to do? I can't just call him out on it and expect him to suddenly see the error of his ways. Plus, he has Jerico and that cyber dude backing him up, and they hit hard. Granted I might be able to take them down now, but I still run the risk of getting outnumbered by any other muscle Moriarty has, and I'd prefer to settle things nonviolently if possible." Gabriel said to Lucy as he thought about what kind of world he was in and what kind of man he wanted to be.
He wanted to be an honorable and kind man despite how the world seemed to hate the idea. He wanted to walk the righteous path in the eyes of the lord.
"You don't have to fight them. Well, I mean you could but that's not what I had in mind. All you'd need to do is sneak into the back of Moriarty's bar and get into his private room where he has his computer terminal. He keeps all his private matters on that computer and all you'd have to do is wipe everything off that computer." Lucy explained before Gabriel saw a new quest appear.

Once again Gabriel had to stop and think about what he wanted to do for a brief moment before he accepted the quest.
"I'll do it, but I'm no hacker." Gabriel pointed out before Lucy handed him a piece of paper and a key.
"No problem. Nova wrote down his terminal password and gave me the spare key to his room."
"Nova?" Gabriel asked in a bit of confusion.
"She's the…Call girl that Moriarty has under his control. She hates him and wants to get out of his grip like the rest of us." Lucy explained before Gabriel pocketed the key and paper that got labeled as Key Items inside his pocket space.
"Got it. Now you'd better head back to your own home before people start making rumors about us. I'm a stranger after all." Gabriel said as Lucy smiled at that.
"Alright stranger, I'll leave and hopefully you won't decide to just skip town with what I gave you." Lucy said before she started walking away while Gabriel looked in the direction of the bar.
"Moriarty, I don't know how you know my dad, but if you really did know the kind of man he was, then you'd know that I am just like him, and I won't sit quietly when I can help out people." Gabriel said to himself as if he was vowing to bring justice down to the bar owner.

Nightfall came faster than Gabriel expected as he remained hidden near the bar but out of everyone's view thanks to his Sneak skill that managed to level up by hiding in plain sight from people.

"It's time." Gabriel said to himself with a heavy breath as his Pip-Boy told him that it was near two in the morning, which was why he was exhausted but he focused on his mission after being positive that Moriarty and his guards were fast asleep.
So, Gabriel made his way to the back door of the bar and saw the door was locked, but with the key he had been given, he easily entered the room and remained silent as he sneaked into the crowded storage room/bedroom of Moriarty who was fast asleep in his bed with several beer bottles on the floor. Gabriel also saw his terminal nearby and made triple sure not to make any sound or step near any beer bottles as he quickly cut on the terminal and entered the password.
The files that Gabriel found were extensive about trade caravans, dealings with raider gangs, the blackmail material on dozens of people in Megaton, possible ambush points for people landing or getting off of Earth, and lastly was the plot with a person known as Tenpenny.
The plan was to detonate the bomb in the center of the city with a high yield explosive synced to a detonator at Tenpenny tower.
'Oh my God.' Gabriel thought in horror before he used the USB cord in his Pip-Boy to attach it to the computer as he downloaded the plan files and key figures in the plot to his Pip-Boy device before he proceeded to delete every other file and make his exit, but he didn't stop and instead he raced down towards the bomb.
The plan was taking place tonight and Gabriel saw none other than a white suited man named Burke tampering with the bomb while the rest of the settlement was asleep.
"I need to stop him, but I can't risk shooting my gun and accidently hitting the bomb." Gabriel said to himself before a wild idea came to his mind as he stood still and focused his Mass Energy into his cupped hands as he generated cold energy in the form of a condensed ball of ice.
Gabriel focused and shot the ice ball towards Burke, hoping that it would reach and sure enough it hit his back, making him slap his face against the bomb and remain there as the ice quickly formed a prison connecting his torso to the bomb in a massive block of ice.

Gabriel simply ignored the message and made his way over to Burke who was struggling and cursing up a storm.
"Damn bastard! Do you have any idea who you're fucking with?!" Burke shouted in anger while Gabriel focused on the man's right hand. In his hand was the explosive device and Gabriel quickly snatched it away from Burke.
"I don't know, and I don't care. You're not about to destroy this place just because some old bastard doesn't like the way it looks." Gabriel said back to Burke before he started making his way to the sheriff's home.
After waking up the man who wasn't too pleased about the abrupt wake up call. Gabriel handed him the explosive that quickly forced him to fully wake up and take things seriously as he quickly grabbed his assault rifle and followed Gabriel down to see Burke.
"Mister Burke, I knew I didn't like you for a good reason, and now I have all the proof I need to make sure you never bother my community ever again." Lucas said with a stern voice as he looked at the man frozen in place and unable to turn his head to maintain any form of eye contact.
"This 'settlement' of yours is nothing but a blight sheriff. Tenpenny has ordered it to be removed and you can't stop that from happening." Burke said back with a cocky grin of his own.
"We'll see about that." Lucas said before Gabriel showed him the files he downloaded about Moriarty and his part in the plans to destroy Megaton.
"Want to go wake up Moriarty and his goons?" Gabriel asked the man who shook his head.
"Not yet." Lucas replied, confusing Gabriel. "When everyone is awake and looking on at this spectacle, that is when we take down Moriarty."
"Got it." Gabriel said back to the sheriff.
"What about me? Am I supposed to stay here and get frostbite?" Burke asked in anger.
"The temperature is in the eighties Burke. You'll be fine until morning comes. And if you're not, that saves me the effort of killing you myself." Lucas said before he turned to Gabriel. "You've done good by this city kid. And I won't forget it. Come morning when everything goes down, I'll repay you considerably."
"Thanks sheriff." Gabriel said before the two of them went their separate ways for now, ignoring Burke's screams of rage.
Soon enough, morning came, and dozens of people gathered around to see Burke stuck to the bomb and frozen to death from hypothermia.
Gabriel would be lying if he said he didn't feel guilty about it, but he also knew that the man would have killed dozens of innocents without a second thought, so he simply pushed down his guilt as he watched Moriarty, Jerico, the chrome muscle and a few other raiders in the form of guards get escorted out of Megaton by Lucas and a few Netrunners.
Apparently, Lucas put in a late-night call to some Netrunners to ask for some backup and they appeared in a short amount of time when Gabriel was asleep. Gabriel also knew that they were high level and dangerous sorts who had a vertibird parked outside the city to escort the criminals away from Megaton.
When the criminals were loaded up, the vertibird took off and generated a mass field around itself as it took to the skies while dozens of people in Megaton cheered as Moriarty's reign over the city was over.
Lucas put Nova and Gob in charge of the place. Gob knew how the bar worked and operated and Nova was smarter than she let on, so nobody said anything against it, and for the first time in a while, the bar was full of people who were happy and ready to celebrate with some quality moonshine, earth brand alcohol and alien brands of alcohol.
Gabriel didn't enter the bar though and instead he was standing outside the empty home near the right side of the settlement along with Lucas.
"Here it is kid. You've more than earned this. You saved us from death and that ain't something that I'll ever forget." Lucas said as he handed Gabriel a deed to the house.
"You're really giving me the entire house?"
"Damn straight. Enjoy it kid." Lucas said with a smile before handing Gabriel the keys as well and taking off to the bar to make sure nobody overindulged in this new sense of freedom.

"I wonder if dad would have approved of me taking down terrorists like this?" Gabriel asked himself with a small smile before he unlocked the door to his new home and saw the two-story house. It has some furniture and dressers with two rooms upstairs and a kitchen on the ground floor along with its own bathroom.
"At least now I have a place where I can actually get a decent night's sleep. Those beds in the common houses weren't the cleanest or nicest smelling." Gabriel said to himself before he went upstairs and laid down on his newly owned mattress for a while to relax for once and rest his body from the crazy amount of action, he has seen these past few days.

Undisclosed Location!
Sitting on a large ceremonial chair in lavish robes with a large straw hat on his head is an old man named Danzo. His left arm was hidden under neath the robe while his right hand gripped the armrest of his large chair. Bandages covered the left side of his face, and he had sharp black hair on his head.
The room they are in was lit with candles and decorated with murals of Japanese Yokai spirits and weapons. However, kneeling in front of him was Hinata alone as Danzo spoke.
"You've made contact with the Vault dweller Hinata. It seems that in the span of a few days he had managed to uncover a plot to destroy a settlement that we have ties to. And he managed to not only stop the plot, but he did so in a unique manner that shows that he is biotic and capable of using Mass Energy. He is an unknown variable, so tell me. What do you think I do with unknown variables?"
"You erase them from the equation Danzo-sama. However, I believe that it would be best if we were to recruit him to our cause." Hinata said before another voice spoke up.
"You dare challenge Danzo-sama's will?" The harsh voice of Yorinobu said as he stepped out of the shadows.
"Be silent Yorinobu." Danzo said calmly, making the Steel Dragon leader stand down. "Hinata you are a smart girl, but I have already thought of that as a solution. So, here is your mission. Remain close to this Vault dweller by any means necessary, keep me informed on actions that he does, if possible, enlist him within Root, however if that proves impossible and his goals deviate from ours. Kill him. Understood?"
"Understood Danzo-sama." Hinata said before she vanished like a gust of wind from Danzo's gaze.
"Child from Vault 101. I am curious to see exactly what kind of person you will become." Danzo said to himself while Yorinobu quietly left the room.
