Somehow, Mara and Chibi-Hild had convinced Belldandy to a truce of sorts.
Peorth, Skuld, Urd, and Keiichi had the running theory that Chibi-Hild had a craving for good food and was willing to play nice for a few days for it.
"So, Keiichi… Anytime you want Aoshima to have a little bit of a bad fortune, let me know and it won't cost you a single thing," Chibi-Hild said before finishing off a bowl of noodles.
"I'm… not that vindictive," Keiichi replied, knowing that had Hild made that offer either before he made the wish with Belldandy or a few days after, he would've had accepted her offer.
"Don't worry. I won't kill him. I'll just charm a few birds to ruin his clothes, car, or car seat," Chibi-Hild replied.
"Huh…" Keiichi muttered.
Peorth quickly said, "If he truly wanted something like that, he'd have used his wish with me for revenge. There wasn't even a flicker of anger in his heart's desire."
Chibi-Hild stole a piece of fish from Peorth's portions, causing the Goddess to gasp. Chibi-Hild said, "Well, we have Belldandy to thank for that. Her presence made Keiichi become a gentler person. Whereas you, Urd, Skuld, Mara, or even myself would cause him to be more willing to hold a grudge and take vengeance for slights."
"Yeah! Big Sis made him a better person," Skuld quickly said, blocking Mara's attempt to steal food. She wanted to say he shouldn't be near her, but didn't want Mara to agree.
"I never said she made him a better person, just a gentler one. There have been moments where he and she should have spoken up to prevent situations from getting too problematic, like when Troubadour or Peorth came by," Chibi-Hild replied. "He did make Belldandy a better person by indirectly encouraging her to be a bit more selfish."
"I ask that you please be more polite, Hild," Belldandy said. Chib-Hild opened her mouth to say something when there was a knock from the front door. Belldandy got up, saying, "I'll go check."
Keiichi spoke, "There's nothing wrong with being more gentle, Hild. And how is can being a bit more selfish make someone a better person?"
"You're putting words in my mouth, Keiichi. I know when to be gentle and when to be rough. After all, if you view deals like they were meat, then some meals have a greater chance of success when cut with scalpel, than with a machete," Chibi-Hild replied. "As for your question, it's rather simple. You…"
When Belldandy walked in, she appeared to be holding a pink basketball. When the pink basketball uttered, "Poyo!"...
Peorth, Skuld, Urd, Mara, and Chibi-Hild practically teleported behind Keiichi and used him like a shield.
"Guys?" Keiichi uttered as he looked at the group. They were all clearly frightened of the talking Pink Basketball.
"Don't you know what that is?" Mara hissed.
"Kirby. He's come by a few times to munch on some food and helped us with a few races. He and his friends are amused that they have video games based on them," Keiichi replied, like he said nothing unusual.
"We'll have to talk about that in the future and why you should warn us if there's any other big threats," Urd said. "But for now… The Pink Puffball is known for defeating Gods and Demons like they were two-bit punks in his way!"
"He can swallow us or our attacks to either power himself up or turn us into his minions!" Peorth said as she hugged Keiichi tighter and shuddered.
Belldandy looked down at Kirby with an expression of confusion as Kirby looked up and gave her a smile. "I don't think you're malicious enough to keep us sealed away inside of you or to keep us as minions, Kirby."
"Poyo."
Chibi-Hild said, "Keiichi, I ran a few scan spells. Kirby can't swallow you or any other human on this planet."
"Yeah, he tried a few times to join in on a race before swallowing a tire to make a Wheelie," Keiichi muttered.
"So continue to stand between us and Kirby and I promise that your wedding will get my personal seal of approval. With that, no demon with an IQ above 2 will even dare to ruin it," Chibi-Hild added.
Belldandy held Kirby with one hand and began to tickle the top of Kirby's head, making Kirby giggle.
Mara said, "Morisato, I'm very skilled in the fields of Biology and genetic manipulation. If you continue to protect me and Lady Hild, then I promise that if you want any change to yourself, I'll gladly do my best."
Urd giggled, "Oh, I've seen what's in his pants. He's very gifted there."
Belldandy looked back at the group and her smile lessened a tiny bit.
Mara slowly began to look at Keiichi's crotch as she said, "By how much, Urd? Asking for a friend."
"What was that?" Belldandy asked. Her smile dimmed a little bit more.
After jabbing Mara in the side, Chibi-Hild quickly said, "She's joking! Right, Mara?"
"R-right," Mara said, rubbing the spot where Chibi-Hild hit her.
"Keiichi," Peorth said sweetly. "If you protect me from Kirby's hunger, I can promise that your wedding to Belldandy will have the finest flowers, fruits, and vegetables."
"POYO!" Kirby cheerfully said. His eyes sparkled with hunger and happiness.
"Crap, that might've backfired…" Peorth muttered.
"Keiichi, If.. If you protect me until I get Big Sis and myself back to HEaven, I promise to make you a robot version of her," Skuld said.
"What about me?" Urd asked.
"I'm certain you've properly basted yourself with enough alcohol to be considered Beer-battered if you cover yourself in bread crumbs," Skuld said as she looked up with a smirk.. "Besides, what can you offer Keiichi for protecting you?"
"Heh heh heh," Urd lustfully chuckled, "Anything his mind wants."
Belldandy's eye twitched.
Belldandy squeezed Kirby until he resembled a flat balloon. Then she lightly tossed him up in the air. As Kirby took in several deep breaths, he sucked in Chibi-Hild, Skuld, Mara, Peorth, and Urd. Belldandy then grabbed Kirby and ran outside. She aimed Kirby at the Moon and squeezed him, sending a large Star projectile towards it.
Keiichi ran outside and asked in a panic, "What did you do, Belldandy!?"
"Oh, just giving us about 8 minutes of peace," Belldandy cheerfully replied.
After shaking her head free of that thought, Belldandy sighed, "Kirby is not swallowing anyone. He's here to rest for a little bit before going on another adventure to protect nap times and snacks."
"Will we have enough food to feed him?" Mara asked.
"Peorth once made a lot of food when she was trying to grant my wish with her," Keiichi answered.
Chibi-Hild then orderedt, "Keiichi, Peorth, make with the wishing and the wish-granting,"
Peorh began with indignant anger, "I can't simply do that! There's a process and-"
"Poyo!"
"Keiichi, wish for food," Peorth said with a forced smile.
"But weren't you-" Keiichi began.
"I'll cross that bridge with my bosses when I get to that point. Wish. Now," Peorth stated.

In an universe where Urd didn't lose her temper over losing her powers for 50 years…
Urd had a job at a Supermarket and was working as a cart chaser. After she pushed in a row of small carts, she heard an 'AH-hem!'
She looked behind herself and saw she was surrounded by a circle of angry old women.
"We have a simple demand and you will do it or we won't move!" one of the old Ladies stated.
"What is it?" Urd asked.
The leader of the old ladies opened her mouth and then closed it. She looked quite confused. After a few moments, she said, "Move out of the way and let us take a cart!"
Urd looked to the left of her. That way was blocked by several rows of large carts. Then she looked to the right and there were several old ladies blocking that way. So Urd asked, "Where can I move?"
The leader of the old ladies began to point, only to see that either there was an old lady there or large carts that she and her allies had problems moving when it was filled.
After some grumbling amongst the senior citizens, the group of old ladies scattered a little bit, letting Urd escape them.
"Weird…" Urd muttered.

Notes from HotelKatz - When I first thought of the Kirby Crossover, I wanted Belldandy to also be afraid of the Pink Puffball. I was talked out of it by people wiser than I.
As for Hild's answer, she probably would say a certain level of Selfishness can actually be healthy and that Altruism can easily become extreme and unhealthy.
