"Okay, time to get out of this giant city, I'm a country girl" Nox stretched, collecting the black t-shirt and jeans she'll be wearing today.
"Seriously! Can't we at least check out the shops for a bit?" Lux asks with the best Lilipup eyes she could muster.
"…ugh fine. We'll check them out for a bit…would let me see if they have any actual food for Pokémon beyond kibble" Nox goes into the shower as Lux decides what to wear, eventually opting for a simple half white half yellow crop top, and yellow pants.
When the twins are out of the hotel; they release their Pokémon. Piplup looks groggy and tugs at Lux's pant leg for uppies, while Pooch seems excited and runs around in a circle happily.
"Not a morning person little guy?" Lux picks up Piplup.
"Pip…lup" Piplup shakes his head.
Nox & Lux walk down a street with many different vendors and shops. Nox eyes many foods, TMs, pokéballs, and many more.
The twins split off. Lux looking at accessories for Pokémon, while Nox goes into a Pokémart.
"Hello, can I get a potion?" The dark-haired girl asks the woman manning the counter.
"Sure, that'll be 200 P" She rings up Nox' potion, and they exchange goods.
Exiting the Pokémart; Nox sighs, "One purchase and my wallet's already on life-support"
Meanwhile Lux buys a little red bowtie for Piplup for 100 P, "Aaaand there you go! Aww it's so cute!!"
Piplup looks down at is chest, just barely able to see the red bowtie. He then squeals with joy, jumping up and down in elation, "Pip pip! Lup lup! Piiiiiiplup!"

"So do we have everything?" Lux asks.
"Everything I could get with my measly 500 P" Nox says plainly.
"Where do we go from here then boss?" Lux tilts her head, Piplup mimicking her while a short yip.
"Well; I'd say we make a start on getting to Oreburgh" The dark-haired twin replies.
People and Pokémon soon find themselves at the edge of Jubilife. As they step onto Route 203 they notice a commotion happening but a couple of metres away: Three ridiculously dressed cyan-haired young adults (the ridiculous dress being an equal parts black & white getup, with a stylized yellow 'G' on the chest part) antagonizing a teenage girl and Prof. Rowan.
"Hey professor. What's going on here?" Nox asks Prof. Rowan in slightly hushed tones, while Lux yells directly at the three musketeers, "Hey! What are you three clowns doin' loitering around in that stupid getup!?"
"Well if you must know, we need Prof. Rowan's research on the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Pal—" Clearly the youngest of the crazy people gets hit on the head by the only girl of the three after blabbering.
"Shut up Calvin! Anyway, it's none of your business punks!" The girl said.
"Don't worry Prof. Rowan, we got this in the bag!"
The navy blue-haired teenager withdraws her Chimchar from his pokéball while Nox' Poochyena and Lux' Piplup take their places in front of their trainers.
"If it's a battle you want, it's a battle you're gonna get! Team Galactic Supermancy!" The previously silent 'Team Galactic' member speaks up.
The Team Galactic members bring out a Zubat, Glameow and Cascoon.

"Glameow Fake Out!" Shouts Calvin.
"Pooch, just take it" Nox says calmly. Glameow sprints to make contact, not yet, just a bit closer…aaaannnd, NOW!
"Poochyena, ready Poison Fang" Glameow collides with Poochyena. Then the cat tries to turn tail, but Pooch recovers from the flinch just fast enough to clamp down on Glameow's backside.
"Now follow up with a Tackle to the face!" Poochyena does as commanded and easily dispatches of the Glameow, knocking her out handedly.

"Piplup Water Gu—" Lux's Piplup raises a wing "Pip pip…" instead of Water Gun, Piplup raises its wings to its cheeks, and makes the cutest eyes it can at the Cascoon.
"Wha-was that Charm? How'd you learn Cha—"
"Cascoon Poison Sting!" Says the girl Galactic grunt.
"Oh shi—Pound, power through!" Lux counters. Piplup raises a wing in anticipation and charges, tanking the Poison Sting and hitting the Cascoon.
"Harden!"
"No thanks! Piplup Water Gun, point blank!" Piplup sprays high pressure water directly in Cascoon's face.
"Shit, one more of those and we're done! T-Tackle the damn thing!"
"Another Water Gun, let's go!" Lux delivers the words that dams the Cascoon, another Water Gun, and a pokéball sucks in the Cocoon Pokémon.

"Zubat, Astonish!" Zubat's teeth knash in a horrific display, terrifying the poor Chimchar.
"Power through and use Taunt!" Chimchar suppresses the fear and anxiety, and laughs at Zubat mockingly, this makes Zubat fly into a rage. If it had any; its eyes would be burning with rage.
Without a word said from the grunt; Zubat rushes Chimchar while using Absorb.
"Okay, now use multiple embers!" Dawn calls, Chimchar opens his mouth, and out comes three tennis balls of fire. Zubat flys into each Ember, eventually literally crashing and burning.
"Zubat! Get up and use Absorb!" The grunt hollers.
"No Fuego!" But the Zubat shoots a fast moving ball of grass type energy; the ball going into Fuego's chest, then exiting and flowing into the Zubat's mouth.
"Now Supersonic! Go!" Just as the Zubat tilts its head back while charging the move, Dawn calls, "Flame Wheel! Block out the noise!"
"Shit! Zubat fall back fall back!" The grunt yells too little to late, as Chimchar shoots into Zubat's stomach, making the Zubat fall to the ground on fire.
"Fuego, finish it off with Ember" Dawn says as Chimchar breathes flames on the Zubat's face.
"NO ZUBAT! R-Return"

The three grunts ran off screaming, "You won't get away with this, we'll connect the stars to find Dialga and Palkia!"
"Yeah get outta here you nitwits!" Lux hollers at the crooks.
"Nitwit? Hehehe" Dawn chuckles with a light pattering of pink on her cheeks.
"Thank you girls so much, for what you did to help me I actually have a little something for all of you" Prof. Rowan proclaims while releasing his Xatu, then whispering something in its ear, Xatu now teleporting away in violet & blue.
A few minutes later and…in Xatu's telekinetic grip are three multicoloured marbles.
"These orbs are mega keystones, they allow an ease and painless mega evolution to occur, as long as you have the correct mega stone. There's one for each of you" Prof. Rowan explains as Xatu gives Nox, Lux and Dawn one keystone each.
"Wow, this is so gracious of you professor" Dawn stammers out.
"…" Nox is stunned into silence; being—out of the three girls—the most knowledgeable about what this means.
"Oh my god! Thank you thank you thanks Prof. Rowan!" Lux hugs the suddenly awkward Rowan.
"Well…" Rowan starts, recovering quickly. "…I best be off back to the office, nice seeing you three" Then he walks off.
"Wait! If Rowan was going from Oreburgh, and we were coming from Jubilife…where did you come from Dawn?" Lux asks while applying a potion to her Piplup.
"Funny thing about that…while I was going from Twinleaf to Sandgem; Fuego went chasing a Stunky and we kinda got lost. But we did eventually make our way to route 203, and that's where we met Prof. Rowan" Dawn explains while Chimchar chases Poochyena.
"So; any of you got a new Pokémon aside from your starters?"
"Nope. Just me and Piplup!" Lux announces while snuggling Piplup's face.
"Same here" Nox shakes her head.
"Hmm, well I have my second Pokémon already. Come on out Coneja!" Dawn throws her Pokéball up high, a Buneary hopping out, jumping back into the air, then conjuring three stars above her that converge on the spot she lands before she does, creating a blast of light, finished with a cute "Buneary!"
"Aww! She's so cute!" Lux gushes.
"'Coneja' that sounds Paldean, and so does Fuego, why the name scheme?" Nox asks.
"Actually; my grandmother's from Paldea, plus it's just a cool language" Dawn replies.
"Anyways…heh. I should probably go, I'm gonna go back to Jubilife to stock up, then probably go to Canalave City"
"Canalave?" Lux tilts her head.
"Yeah. I know Byron is traditionally one of the last gym leaders, but Byron has a fossil Pokémon, a Magnezone, Excadrill, and that's not mentioning his Aggron that can MEGA EVOLVE! I ain't fighting that monster" Reasons the navy-haired teen.
"Makes sense, me and Nox are gonna challenge Roark then…I forgot. What was it sis?"
"Sigh…" Nox snarks. "…If everything goes to plan: Oreburgh to Eterna City, then through Eterna Forest all the way to Canalave, and that's kind've it for now"
"Cool! Hope I see you two around soon. Goodbye!" Dawn waves as she balls her two Pokémon, and struts off behind us.
"Oh god I can't wait to get to Oreburgh!" Lux yells.
"Well, lucky for you we're just at the small cave entrance see?" Nox gestures to the wide hole in a hill.

The two travellers walk into the cave to be swarmed by one, no two, no three, no four, five Zubat!
"Poochyena! Attack!" Nox releases her Poochyena.
"Piplup! Do something!" Lux follows her sister.
Piplup shoots two down in two Water Guns each, but faints due to another Zubat somehow knowing Brave Bird, but this does mean the Zubat also faints itself.
Poochyena fares worse; only able to take one down with Sand Attack followed by a newly learned Bite. Then Poochyena gets hit by a super-effective Pounce.
"What are we gonna do!?" Lux screams while getting her blood sucked by the remaining Zubat.
"Get off of her!" Nox punches the Zubat. Countering the attack; the Zubat Bites her, making an ugly bloody gash appear.
Both sisters lay on the cave floor bleeding while the Zubat feeds off of them.
Then.
A piercing screech from the Zubat makes both teens look up, it's a Glameow who's scratching the Zubat over and over again: Fury Swipes.
But the Zubat gets the upper hand by playing dead, then attacking with Poison Fang followed by Absorb.
Glameow fell to the ground, then looked to the girls for help.
Lux slowly got up while yelling with as much enthusiasm as she can muster, "Glameow! Strike back, try to hit him out of the air and incapacitate him!"
Glameow jumps around the area with crazy mobility, literally jumping off air and brings the Zubat down: Aerial Ace. Then the Catty Pokémon waves its long tail in hypnotic movements, putting the enemy Zubat to sleep: Hypnosis.
"C-Can you stand?" Lux asks Nox, who has definitely taken the beating worse than her blonde counterpart: many bruises all over her body, multiple blood spatters from Zubats sucking her life force, not to mention the horrific gash on her arm.
"Umm Glameow, can you help me carry her?"
"Gla-Glam" Glameow nods.
Lux put Nox' legs on her shoulders while Glameow supported the noirette's upper-body.
Together; woman and mon carry Nox into Oreburgh, where they promptly collapse onto the concrete of Oreburgh proper.
