CH 197
When they reach the park, there was some car park in the parking lot. Sam looked around and her eyes widen where she saw the big caress wheel. When Jack found a spot he park the wagon and turn the motor off then turn to Sam who was looking at him.
"Fair?"
"Yep I saw it in Friday paper, so what do you think?"
"Ask me tonight"
"Sure, come on, the gates will be open in few minutes" they got out and got the boys out of the wagon.
Jack got the stroller and diaper bag out while Sam unbuckle the kids seat belt, then Jack help Sam put the twins in the stroller and the bag on the back. Then Sam lock the wagon up after she got her bag then they walk to the entrance to where other families are waiting in line.
Once they were in side, they look around and play couple of games till Jacob, Elizabeth and Grace showed up which shock Sam. She gave them all a hug
"This is a surprise, how did you know that we were going to be here?"
"Jack told us on Friday night about his plans" Jacob said
"Ah, he sure can be full of surprises"
"Yes he can alright" Grace, said
They talk for few minutes then they started walking around, talking, playing games, went onto different rides and had some lunch and snacks during the day. Later that afternoon they all left the pack and went their separate ways.
When Jack and Sam got home the boys were asleep so they carry them up into the apartment. Once they were in the cots, Jack and Sam walk into the kitchen where Sam made them both cup of coffee.
"Have you got any thing else plan for us tonight Jack?"
"Yep, after we finish our drinks, we going to get all dress up cause I'm taking you and our sons out for dinner tonight"
"Where are you taking us?" he smiles then gave her a kiss
"You will see"
They talk while finishing their drinks, then they walk into the bedroom where they both got change, by that time the boys were awake. They both feed and change the boys before they left the apartment. Jack drove to a family restaurant in town that he manages to book on Friday while he was still in Colorado Springs.
When they park out side the restaurant, they got out and pick their sons up and put them in the stroller then they walk to the entrance. When they walk in side they could smell the delicious food.
Jack spoke to the guy at the front desk then they follow him to a round table that could fit six people. Jack was pushing the stroller with Sam behind him. When they got to the table, Sam was shock to see her parents and grand mother already there waiting for them, she turn to see Jack smiling at her
"Surprise" she smile at him then she gave him a hug and kiss
"You can be full of them Jack"
"I know" they sat down with the stroller between Jack and Grace.
They spent the next two hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing while enjoying their dinner. When the evening was drawn to a close, Jack paid for every one dinner before they all said there good night to each other and left to go home.
When Jack and Sam walk in the apartment, they both were carrying the twins in their arms. They put them to bed and gave them a kiss before they went to bed them selves since they were tired
The next morning Sam gave Jack a kiss before she left for work, taking their sons to day care centre on her way to work. When it was almost one o'clock Jack walk into the lab where Sam work. An airman was showing Jack the way.
When he dismiss the airmen, he walk in and stop when he saw Sam wearing a white coat over her uniform. She was talking to two other officers about some thing he couldn't under stand but knew that Sam did. While he was watching and listen, he then look around the lab when he and Sam heard
"Who that cute guy at the door" one women said
"Don't know, I wounder what he is doing here"
"Let's go and ask him" Jack watches them as they walk over to him. He could see that they both are first lieutenants.
"Hello can we help you" Jack notice that they were looking him over
"Nope, I'm fine thanks"
"Who are you, this is classified area"
"I know that and I do have full clearance" then he smile when he saw Sam walking over to him, she smile then saw him taping his watch.
"Who are you?"
"Sir" Sam said which made them turn around
"Captain Carter"
"Lieutenants, what are you two doing"
"We wanted to know who this guy is?"
"Ah ha, well lieutenants this is Colonel Jack O'Neill, air force and who is also my husband"
Their eyes widen then they turn to Jack and stood at attention and saluted which he did in return
"At easy and get back to work"
"Yes sir"
"Good, Sam, lunch?"
"Give me a minute Jack"
"Sure"
Then he watches her walk over to her work area and pick up two files then she walks over and passes them to another officer. Then she walk over to the coat rack and took her white coat off and hung it up then he grab her jacket and put it on then she gab her ID from the white coat and walk over to Jack
"Shall we" he open the door for her and she walk out with him behind her.
They walk down to the café where they got their lunch and walk over to a table where they sat down to eats it while they talk.
"Sam what would you like for dinner tonight?"
"Fish"
"Fish, ok what about the boys?"
"Mash potatoes, sweet potatoes and silver beat"
"Ok, I can take care of that"
"Thanks… Jack remember lieutenant Hanson from four years ago"
"Hanson… he the one that didn't like taking orders from you during training?"
"Yes that him"
"What about him"
"He station at the pentagon" Jack look at her
"You're joking"
"Nope I saw him this morning while I was on my way to a meeting, and no he didn't see me"
"Ok"
"I did find out he want to join black ops"
"What, when?"
"Next time there is training"
"That in three months time"
"I know… Jack you know that I can sense things in other people"
"Yes, did you sense things in Hanson?"
"Yes, negative things, dark things, so if and when he do go for the try out, watch him"
"Sure" They talk about other things while enjoying their lunch.
When finish they walk back to the lab where Jack gave Sam a kiss before he turn and walk out of the lab and Sam return back to work.
Jack went and did some shopping for couple of hours before returning back to the apartment. That night when Sam walk through the door with the stroller
"Honey, we're home" she called out as she closes and locks the door. Jack walk out of the kitchen and over to give Sam a kiss
"How was your afternoon?" he asked
"Good, how was yours?"
"Good" he bend down and talk to the twins while he got them out of the stroller and put them in their high chairs
"I'm going to get change"
"Ok kids dinner is ready and ours is twenty minutes away"
"Ok" she gave him a kiss before walking into the bedroom.
Jack talk to their sons while he was mashing up their dinner. When Sam walk out wearing tee shirt and sweat pants, she smile when she saw Jack talking and feeding them. She walk into the kitchen to get her self-a drink and see what Jack got cooking.
She opens the over doors and smell the fish pie that he cook up for their dinner, which made her smile. She then close the door and turn to see Jack acting like a kid while feeding their sons. When the boys finish their dinner, they were happy. Jack stood up and turned around to see Sam looking at him
"What"
"You act like a big kid some times" he smile
"You think so"
"Yep and I find it… cute" he raised an eye brow
"Cute… don't tell the guys that or I won't hear the end of it"
"Your secret safe with me… for now"
"Hey" Sam giggle
"Want to give the kids their bath" he walk into the kitchen and put the plate and spoon in the sink
"Shortly" then he turn and wrap his arms around Sam waist and gave her a passionate kiss.
"I'm going to miss you and our kids"
"I know, but good news is I manage to get week off next month" he smile
"Where would you like to go this year?" knowing that there third wedding anniversary next month
"Cabin, what do you think?"
"I like it, what about the boys?"
"Mum and dad are happy to look after them and Mark and the family would be here cause of the kids birthday"
"Sam how about we stay at a hotel here in Washington, room service, plenty of hot sex, what do you think?"
"Mmm not a bad idea" then she gave him a kiss
"Ok then it settle, when I get home, I'll make some calls and we can work it from there"
"Sounds good to me"
"Good" then he gave her a kiss
"I'll go and give the boys their bath"
"Ok, have fun"
"Always" he said smiling.
Then he walked out of the kitchen and over to the bathroom. Sam walk over and talk to the boys till Jack return and pick them both up and walk into the bathroom while talking to them. Sam walked over to the counter to look through her mail while listening to Jack talking to their sons.
Half an hour later Jack walk out of the bathroom with twin in his arms, he walk over to the couch and sat down just as Sam walk out of the kitchen with bottles in hand. She walked over and sat down next to jack. He pass JJ to Sam then she pass him Charlie bottle, then they both started feeding the boys while sitting back and relaxing.
"Jack, I received some news from NASA this afternoon"
"Oh, what news?"
"Space shuttle 'enterprise' might be lifting off by the end of the year"
"Ok, why are you telling me?"
"My name is down on the short list" he looked at her in shock
"Your joking" she shook her head
"Your not, Sam that is wonderful news"
"I know but please don't tell any one till I know"
"When will you know?"
"Next month"
"Sure, I hope you do get in"
"I know, if I don't this time, I will next time"
"If you do go when will it be?"
"Well if I am on the list, I'll be transferred to Houston for three months of training before lift off"
"Ok what about this place?"
"I'll be keeping it, cause I'll be transferred back here next year if all goes well"
"Ok, any I dear when lift off is?"
"Four days after our sons birthday" she said smiling
"So you will be around for it then?"
"Yes, I was thinking of having the birthday at Houston, just family and close friends, what do you think Jack?"
"Well if you do get in Sam, I'll make booking for every one and take time off and hope we don't get called out"
"Good idea"
"So how about dinner?"
"Sounds good to me" their sons finish their bottle and was slowly drifting off to sleep in their arms.
