Chapter 1 - Drive
This story takes place before the events of Tokyo Drift, as a follow-up to the movie "Better Luck Tomorrow", but after the Project D arc from Initial D. Enjoy!
Han was making his way from pickup in Shibuya. The night had settled in, and it was business as usual. As he cruised along the Aqualine, two cars zoomed past him at top speed. One was a black Porsche 964, and the other was a blue Datsun S30. They were moving so quickly that they were out of sight within mere minutes. Han was feeling hungry and needed food after having worked all day.
The roaring sound of a rotary engine filling the air with each gear shift. Cruising ; Han was heading up the mountain to one of his favorite spots. With good food in hand, Han walks out to his car and sits on the driver fender. Looking into the sky he was thinking on what's next for him. Some kids across the lot were talking about the recent Gymkhana runs from earlier that day. Re-enacting each highlight, making noises and gestures. Then, one of them began speaking about the street race in Myogi, but being part of the action was not happening.
Han sighs with disinterest and begins making his way into his car. Starts up and drives away. As he's heading down the mountain, a pair of headlights pop up. Paying it no mind, he starting raising his pace. After each turn, the headlights seem to get closer and closer. Seeing this, Han came up to hairpin, thinking that would cause the driver to cool off a bit. Suddenly, to his shock, he's passed in the oncoming traffic lane. Han notices a panda 86 with the sign "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" as everything slows down. Han smiles, "Ok now you got my attention!"
