Chapter 2 - Burning Ambition

"An AE86?! What the hell?!" - Han says in shock. The panda 86 passes Han effortlessly; gliding through the hairpin like a hot knife in butter. Still in disbelief of what's going on, it didn't seem possible that someone can drive like that. He presses the gas and starts to chase. The RX7 gaining ground in short time, but Han was cautious not to wreck them both.

Turn after turn, the 86 was keeping pace. It didn't make any sense. "How is that car keeping this distance and speed. Is he a pro racer, a wheelman or just a maniac with a death wish?Whatever it is, they got balls of steel; I like his style. " - Han thinking to himself; smiling. Up comes a long stretch, Han passes as they head down the straight. As the S bend start, Han let's off the gas as he notices the back starting to lose grip.

Undoubtedly, the FD is faster, but the 86 was not fazed. Within a few seconds it was on Han's rear like as if letting him pass was a courtesy. Unable to shake the 86, Han looking in his mirrors as the 86 was sideways in each corner and keeping pace.

Han pushes forward down the mountain, but holds back with uncertainty. Thinking to himself to be cautious of how drives. However, the 86 speed was closing the gap as he got closer to the chicane. Not letting up for second, Han hit the brakes too early. Causing the FD's back end to oversteer. Sliding out of control, Han clutches in, aiming to control the slide,"Damn it, I'm going too wide!" In the same motion the 86 starts sliding side by side intentionally with grace. As the sliding stops, Han shifts to 2nd, aiming to keep his speed, but it wasn't enough. The 86s speed out of the corner was increasing. Taking back the lead from Han. As he smiles, he steps on the gas; trying to catch up at the next corner. Thinking he attempt to do the same as the 86. This time it results in him spinning out. Slamming the front and rear of his FD.

Han gets out, looks at his car, upset at the outcome. "Well…I'm not leaving town for while. I'm going to catch you…86." - Han smiles.
