Chapter 4 - Road to the King
Following the hot talk on the streets about the night races and the heat from the daytime circuits; there's nothing as hot as the auto scene. A young high school senior was on the roof top with his friends , boasting on how he's getting his car later that day; a silver '83 AE86 Levin. With school over, he starting making his way to the dealership.
The name of this senior that attended Azabu School name's Takashi Kamata. After his parents died due to a bad deal, his uncle had taken him in. Traumatized from the ordeal he became cold at the age of 13. Takashi saw drifting as his outlet, but over time taking up after his father became his life. The feeling of being in control yet out of control brings him joy. Spending any time that he could practicing his technique as his role model Ryuji Ikeda.
Takashi wants to make a name for himself around the city as a drifter. Taking on the amateurs in the off nights. Figuring to up the ante a bit, he sets his next battle to be on Suicide Mountain. Takashi aims to claim this as his home turf. Pulls up is Iyabe in his red S13 . Being almost as good as Takashi, they set out to race; all out drift to the bottom.
The tight winding roads had both drivers on the edge. Takashi was about to make his move when Iyabe's rear end slid out pushing him into the side of the mountain. He loses control rolling over the side of mountain, landing on its back. Takashi makes it to to end as the victor and claims his title.
