Heavy Hitter
Miyahara smiles, looking over at Han's S15 as it pulls in to the car park. "Seems like you're not a beginner, but then again it could just be beginner's luck "- Miyahara says as he shrugs in disbelief. It seem that the power advantage of the S15 gave Han an additional edge on the S13, but now it's time to take on the Toyota Supra - though it has more power than the S15; there's more weight as well. Han thinks to himself as the light hits the Supra as it shines a magnificent blue - " there's no doubt that I'm not going to be the mouse in this run, best bet is to control the flow here. Han understands that both cars' turbos are going to be the main factors the only differences are the weights and engine sizes.
Both cars get to the starting point for the uphill. Miyahara walks to the front of both cars to do the count but stops at Han's door. "Let's see how you'll do on this run, won't be as easy as you think", he states. Han grips his steering wheel, focusing on the run ahead. Suddenly at the corner of his eye, a woman with brown hair was standing in the audience caught his gaze. 3….2…1….GO!!! Both drivers take off to start the uphill battle; the S15 leading with the Supra driving with no gap.
Han keeps his focus as the Supra's 2JZ engine drowns out the sound Silvia's SR20's motor. On the straights the Supra's power was apparent as a exact mirror of the first run. Han's S15 tries to pull away, but the Supra keeps gaining - "that Supra's not letting up, there must be something I can do to widen my distance" Han thinking to himself. They approach the first hairpin, both cars braking, downshifting to 3rd to have stability to enter - Han downshifts to 2nd and notices that the Supra's momentum isn't the same as before. The Supra's turbo lag became even more obvious. Though both cars have turbos, the time it takes to build up power is drastically different. Knowing this, Han uses this to his advantage - the run versus the S13 connects directly to his current run. If he's able to capitalize on this in 3 turns, he can win - the S bends is the area where Han makes his move. The gap increases to 5 lengths, giving Han an impressive lead as he races to the finish.
