Author's Note: This is a Christmas biblical story for Kim Possible. I own nothing from Kim Possible, I am just a fanfiction of the show and I decided to write a religious story for the show. Please be sure to leave nice reviews, and be sure to leave constructive criticism as well. Thanks!
A New Member of Drakken's Team
It is the week before Christmas; people are going to church, buying last minute Christmas gifts. And dreaming of the ones they might get. However, Dr. Drakken is struggling. He thought he had gotten Shego the perfect gift…But deep down he knew he had messed up. Something about the gift didn't seem right, and something about the gift seemed off. It didn't seem like Shego would like it. "Dr. D? Is everything alright?" Asked his new partner in crime Rebecca. She looked over at him smiling. "I mean, Shego is going to love this gift, but if I was her. I would say. Get here a bible or something. I think she would need that." She stood in front of Drakken because she knew he wouldn't budge. Shego has never mentioned anything about her religion. Let alone a bible. Rebecca knew what she said was wrong, and that she maybe shouldn't have said what she sai. She just went into her villain room and turned off the lights so she could get a decent amount of sleep. Because, next morning she would have to face Kim Possible. But she knew God has her back…She has been a firm believer in Christ for a long time now.
She even sings her own worship songs when she is bored, so the bible gift idea. Was just a nice change of things. Deep down Drakken knew he had listened to what his new sidekick wanted. He thought about it deeply. He went into Rebecca's room, and saw that it was dark. He looked at her and stammered. He wanted to get Shego a bible, and he wanted to see her believe in God just like Rebecca did.
He ended up seeing her praying, and he listened to the words she was saying. "Dear Heavenly Father, I want you to help one of my villain friends be good. I also want you to help Drakken figure out what kind of bible he should get his assistant Shego. I am praying to you that he finds the right one, and that he gives her your word, and your son Jesus's word. I believe in you my lord, and everything that you do to me. In Jesus name, Amen." She finished her prayer and saw Drakken standing in the doorway.
Fear caught up with her, she didn't want to have him yell at her, but he didn't. He had tears in his eyes. He was probably crying because he has never seen anyone work for him pray. It was probably a moment of reflection.
That not everyone he hires is going to be the perfect villain, and the perfect bad guy.
Rebecca certainly isn't.
…
The next few days, Rebecca has been out with Drakken, looking at bibles and other Christian things. She is hoping to get the word of God into Shego's mind. "I want her to believe, and I want her to be with God…But how…" She thought to herself.
Unknowing to her, she accidentally bumped into Kim Possible, and her boyfriend Ron Stoppable. Who looked at the girl and the girl looked back at him.
"Kim…"
"Rebecca."
"Still working for Drakken I see?"
"Not really, I am helping Shego find the perfect bible for her….I jus want her to have the word of God. I am just struggling right now."
"Oh. I guess you don't want to fight."
"Nope."
"Good. Because I don't want to fight you."
Rebecca took a look at Kim and then went back to shopping with Drakken—They both stopped when they saw the perfect one. Angels were singing in Rebecca's mind as soon as she saw the bible. It was perfect, the cover was well done, and the words were in a nice beginners font.
She was sure Shego was going to love it.
But…What if she didn't?
That thought never crossed her mind, well, not until now.
She smiled.
She didn't want Shego to be left out of the wonderful word of God. She made sure that Shego was happy with her bible and that she would actually use it, and keep it as a guiding point in her life.
Rebecca just looked around the Christian store happily. Hoping to find some more Christian stuff for her room, and her villain lair.
"Drakken! Look! I found the perfect thing for Shego." It was a nativity set. Jesus was being born, and everything was perfect. She could easily describe the scene to the villainess. "I bet Shego is going to love this."
"Yeah."
"What's wrong, Dr. D?"
"I'm just not sure how I feel about pressuring Shego into doing this kind of thing…I mean, it could help her. But again, I don't want to push her."
Rebecca sighed, thinking about that prayer she said to herself earlier. Shego was a villain, she kept to herself, and she was often thinking of evil things. At that moment, she realized that she had made a huge mistake. Deep down she wanted Shego to have a biblical moment in her life, but she figured she would do that with Church and a card…Then with a bible.
…
The day before Christmas, Christmas Eve. Was sad, Rebecca looked out the window as she was writing her card. Praying to God and praying to Jesus that the female villain would love this. She wanted everything to be perfect.
She hummed a hymn and she hummed a Christian song. It was one she loves; it was a Chris Tomlin song. One of her favorite singers, she wanted to be just like him when she grew up.
Her mind started racing, she started thinking about why she was doing this in the first place, whyshe was working with a supervillain. She decided it was time to tell Drakken she was ready for a change. Rebecca went into his boss's lair and sat down next to him.
"Drakken…We need to talk." She said.
"What's up?"
"This job, I have, it's not very Godly. I want to help people. I want to give people salvation. I also want to help people in a church."
"What are you saying?"
"What I'm saying is…MAYBE I DON'T WANT TO BE A VILLAIN ANYMORE!"
Drakken's eyes become teary. He was crying…He never thought in a million years one of his people would quit. He looked at the girl and sighed.
"You are fired."
"I am gladly accepting that…"
Rebecca walked out, and never looked back.
Author's Note: I know, I know, self insert story…But let me explain. This is based off of my own personal walk with God. Trying to figure out who my people are is hard, and this story really does prove that trying to find the right people is always going to be a challenge, and that God is proud of you if you step out of evil. So, if any of you are struggling right now, just remember my character Rebecca's story. It could help one day…
