Chapter 2: The Past/Living suit?

As the Parr family return to their home, a big mansion on the outskirts of Municiberg, They enter the living room where Helen notices their home phone is flashing, indicating someone has been trying to call them many times. When she looked at the caller's number, her eyes widened.

Who is it? Bob wondered. Just a scam caller. Helen replies as she begins deleting the messages so no one else could listen in. Helen pretended to be calm but inside she was panicking for dear life. She waited for everyone to settle down so as to not raise suspicion.

Finally she called back the caller once everyone was busy with their own stuff and she walked to an isolated part of the house where none of the family could listen in.

With each beep felt like forever, Helen twirled her hair out of stress, hoping it wasn't what she thought it was about. Finally, the caller picked up. Helen is that you? The caller asked in desperation. Yes, it's me, Leonardo, I- Leonardo immediately interrupted her as he began explaining.

Helen, I don't have a lot of time but the alien has escaped, I repeat, the alien has escaped! Leonardo warned Helen as several screams could be heard in the background.

No it can't be!, tell me how it happened, Helen asked while gripping her hands really hard. I don't have time, take your family and protect them! Leonardo ordered before something swooped hold of him.

Leo, Leonardo, please answer me! Helen asked in distress but no one replied. Suddenly, someone picked up the phone. Leonardo, tell me what is happening, Helen begged for an answer. Hello, Helen, the mysterious voice replied. Helen immediately knew whose voice it was and hung up. Feeling the goosebumps, she dropped to the floor, trying to deny the truth.

Helen put the phone down and grabbed her chest as she began to hyperventilate out of distress. The voice triggered more flashbacks to flash before her eyes, she held her head to suppress them.

No, no, it can't have escaped. Helen thought to herself. It was bad news, if they couldn't capture it, then it meant she had to do it and she didn't want to. She thought she left it behind, never to be seen again.

What was she thinking about? Let's find out, shall we?

Unknown location, a few hours earlier.

In what seemed like a top security prison deep underground, we see 2 guards walking towards an icy area..

Commander, what is this area, this isn't a part of the map, guard #1 asked. That's because what I'm about to show you is classified and whatever you do before we go in, DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! The Commander raised her tone.

What could be so important that she needs to yell at me? G#1 thought to himself. The commander inputted a code and let the prompter scan her iris.

The sound of a heavy steel door opened and icy air flushed out from the chamber; both put on some more fitting clothes for a cold environment and walked into the depths of the chamber.

As G#1 stepped into the chamber for the first time ever, he was even more confused what this was and why they were here. They kept walking deeper and deeper until they stopped at the frozen wall, sensing an ominous presence beyond the ice.

G#1 observed the structure, he couldn't see what was behind the ice but whatever it was, he figured it was for a good reason. That even he could figure it out. Soldier, look what's behind the ice. G#1 stepped forward and started wiping off the frosting.

When it cleared it, he was welcomed with a black tar? He laughed out loud at how ridiculous it was, the biggest mistake he could have made as he got punched in the gut by his commander.

Didn't you hear what I said Soldier!? The commander yelled. Take this with the utmost seriousness or you will pay for your disobedience. Am I clear?!

G#1 didn't understand what the fuss was about despite being in pain from the punch but knew better than to make his commander angry. So he shut up and listened.

This is a klyntar otherwise known as a symbiote. It's a dangerous creature who needs to bond with its host in order to survive, the commander explained. Klyntar? Symbiote? None of that made sense to the guard.

If I may ask, commander. How is a blob more dangerous than all the other prisoners, this thing seems harmless. Do you know a superheroine by the name of Elastigirl? Yes, the hero with the powers to stretch her boy, why? G#! Replied.

And because her booty is to die for, he thought.

It bonded to her and together they caused massive destruction, killing innocent people before Elastigirl managed to get herself rid of the symbiote and was brought her for safekeeping… ARE YOU LISTENING SOLDIER! The commander finished her explanation.

If it is that dangerous, why hasn't anyone tried to destroy it? G#1 asked while snapping out from his dirty thoughts.

Trust me, we have tried, symbiotes are weak to sonic and heat attacks but this one has survived all attempts we have thrown at it, it's stubborn and refuses to die. The commander ended the sentence with a fearful tone in her voice.

G#1 has only started a couple of weeks ago but even he knew the commander didn't fear anything so hearing her tone, made him feel fear.

The commander continued explaining. This is why we designed this chamber, since we couldn't kill it. The next best thing we did was freeze it in place and it has worked for the last 20+ years. As part of your routine from now and onwards, you will ensure this chamber is intact so it never escapes. If ANYTHING goes wrong, press that button and pray for god soldier. The commander stated.

G#1 gulped at how serious the commander sounded and didn't dare to question her orders. Meanwhile the symbiote, while frozen, could hear every single word they were saying and it was furious. It has been waiting 20+ years and counting for the day, it was free so it could find Helen, its last host and take its revenge.

Its wish was to come true this day as only 2 hours later, the systems went down as somebody accidentally spilled coffee on what just happened to be the system computer, maintaining all the systems in the prison.

Every guard immediately rushed to their stations and ensured no prisoner escaped or stole dangerous goods. But most importantly, the symbiote didn't get free. G#1 rushed to the chamber alongside the commander.

Every alarm was on as the room was red, they ensured everything in the room was working as intended and fought off any intruders coming their way. Finally someone fixed the computer and the systems were working again. But as G#1 relaxed, somebody touched him on the shoulder and he accidentally fired a bullet.

Soldier, put your gun down, the commander demanded as the soldier immediately put the gun down to its holster. Good job, soldier, you did good, the commander praising her subordinate.

Suddenly they heard a crack as they feared for the worst, as they turned towards the sound of the crack, the bullet had to have cracked the ice. It was a small one, so they thought they were safe. How wrong they were, the symbiote couldn't believe the opportunity.

It seeped through the crack and the chaos began. The soldier rushed towards the red button and pressed it, triggering the alarms once again and locking down the whole prison. But as G#1 looked at his commander, it was too late as the symbiote bonded with her and used her as a puppet.

Outside the chamber, all guards stood ready with specialized sonic guns and flamethrowers, the symbiote's weaknesses on standby. They tried to contact the soldiers currently inside via walkie-talkie but no one responded.

Suddenly they heard a rumble as the big steel door was punched with full force. They saw in real time as it got weaker by the second, with each hit, more of the door bended til it fell. The soldiers didn't even bother to look as they began firing blindly.

From outta nowhere, several tendrils bursted from inside the chamber, grabbing hold of any soldier. It was a bloodbath down there. At the very top of the prison, general Leonardo immediately called Helen, his old friend and the reason why the symbiote was kept at his blacksite prison.

He left several messages for her while he commanded his soldiers to stop the symbiote at any cost but deep inside he knew he didn't have much time left. Suddenly the phone vibrated and he immediately picked up and began explaining what was happening. Meanwhile, the symbiote slaughtering anyone who dared to be in its way, using his heightened senses, heard the phone call and headed towards the location of the general.

It slaughtered the remaining soldiers protecting the general. The weapons definitely worked as it weakened. Normally it would be too weak after only a few hits from a sonic gun or getting burned. But its hatred for Helen kept it going.

As it burst the door open to the general's office, it could hear Helen's voice from the other side of the phone call. Helen, the symbiote mentioned her name with a venomous tone before grinning, imagining how it would end her.

General Leo fought valiantly to the end but his head got swooped by the symbiote's manifested sword. Leo, Leonardo are you there?! Please answer. Helen begged on the phone. The symbiote picked the phone up and answered her pleas much to Helen's horror.

Even though Helen hung up, the symbiote was pleased to see her alive as it would hate for her to die before it had the chance to do itself. The symbiote knew a prison like this had the tools to track someone down and it bonded to the captain, looking through his memory to find someone who had the skills to track phone calls or a tool to do it.

It took over the captain temporarily and used the computer and found the software to track down the caller's location. It inputted Helen's number and after some waiting, it pinged a location, Municiberg.

There you are, Helen, countdown the days, soon you will get your punishment for abandoning me all those years ago. The symbiote hissed to itself as it left the prison and headed out into the cold weather, looking possessed as it wouldn't stop til day, Helen was in the afterlife by its hands.
